3661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Simpleswap one of best instant exchange on: March 13, 2022, 10:33:11 AM
I like instant exchanges for their fussless nature. Was searching for such and came across SimpleSwap, have used it 4 times in last month and experience was smooth.

I compared the amount i'd be receiving compared to Changelly and was getting slightly more here so stuck with it. Didn't bother with others.

 - Lots of cryptos (they say 300+, haven't counted myself)

- No sign up, no limit. You can register however if you want to keep track your transfers.

- Live chat. I just sent them message and they responded within 30 secs. When you start a swap, you get order id, keep it safe (especially when using without account) so if any problem arises you can give it to customer rep for faster resolution.

There is open source alternative in making called, 'tally'[1] - there will be incentives for people to move from metamask and also airdrop for people who swap in early access.

That feeling you get when you thought or assume you've created a very nice post that's worthy of merit, but only to come back hours later and discover it's been deleted by the mods 🤣🤣.

3665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: reason why people fall victims of scammers everyday especially on social media on: March 12, 2022, 02:50:46 AM
The truth is that many fell to crypto and Bitcoin scams because they lack knowledge. More than anything, they are convinced by these scammers and their offers because they are not aware of what Bitcoin is, its basic dos and don'ts, its market, the movements of its price, and so on. Some may not even be greedy. Take, for example, those who are scammed by somebody who introduces himself/herself to be a staff and offers support assistance. Take, for example, those who are reading how-to guides or watching tutorial videos who were clueless of the wrong details provided.

It all seems greed to me, you wouldn't bother with anything if it got nothing to do with money.

I will sign that petition without fail. But did change .org was able to change anything at all over the last couple of years?

Change.org doesn't do shit, if one wants to farm so called signatures, he can literally bot it as there are measly preventive measures.

"(Change) is a multimillion dollar for-profit private company, not a nonprofit public charity as many falsely assume. The company began as a nonprofit that connected charities to donors, but has transitioned into a for-profit company that makes money by selling advertised petitions on its website, Change.org."

Do you know why I need to link my wallet?

In general, and because the return is small, any attempt to manage returns using any decentralized network, no matter how cheap the cost, will end with those profits being lost.

If the site is reliable and offers a lightning network withdrawal service with a team that monitors scam or phishing links, I think it will be successful.

Idk almost all ethereum dapps work like that.

Yeah return is small, with current minor tasks you can earn about $20. It's not much but those who are trying to wet their feets in crypto, could be helpful.

You can only withdraw to wallet which you login'ed with plus is there lightning for ethereum?
3670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: March 10, 2022, 03:10:10 AM
I think the project should have Telegram Chat to attract a larger community because currently I only see channel and no place to discuss this project. The project is clearly under development, but if people can access it more easily, the team can advise them before investing in gold. I encourage your team to do this in the near future because a lot of people in this market want to invest in gold and if they get the best advice then surely a lot of investors will join.

Telegram groups mostly attract spam, you can always discuss here, on website there is also live chat but don't know at what hours it tends to be active.
3671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 64th Grammy free nft on: March 09, 2022, 11:00:25 AM
Need to create account to claim (mobile number is required): https://music.oneof.com/nft/dfa24716-7e47-46a5-8ef6-7840bc599f27/auction

It looks nice, although rarity is green so likely not much of value if you were to resell it.

According to this:

Quote
. This FREE NFT includes a chance to win a pair of flyaway tickets to the 64th GRAMMY Awards® to be held in Las Vegas on Sunday April 3rd, 2022! A winner will be randomly selected on Thursday, March 17th*.

I don't know but I don't think there are free NFT tokens due to the high gas costs which means that the party creating the token will lose a lot of money for nothing.

Therefore, it is either on central networks with cheap fees, such as BSC, or it is a database on a site.
Overall, it seems like an opportunity to win free tickets and the selection will be random.

You can claim nft for free and with that you get chance to attend 64th Grammy event live, you can sell it on platform itself or can export it to your account on tezos blockchain.

This is like swagbucks of crypto, you can just visit the website and have a look around, it's self explanatory.
3673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How PancakeSwap detect restricted countries? on: March 09, 2022, 03:04:48 AM
A user from a restricted country, can't use the PancakeSwap with VPN too. The PancakeSwap don't show the wallet supply. Any idea?
I think you have a different problem with PancakeSwap, because they haven't blocked any IP address yet. They will block IP addresses from 10 countries on March, 09. Visit the link below for more information.

PancakeSwap DEX reportedly set to block users from Iran

This is worrying in general and I somewhat against principles of decentralization.

They can block the front end, not the smart contract which decentralized exchanges run on. You can always use other front-ends like zerion, zapper, etc to do your exchange if vpn doesn't work.

May be they mean revoking token allowances? If so you could use: https://etherscan.io/tokenapprovalchecker

Revoking will cost you gas fees, you are better of creating new wallet imo.
3677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How PancakeSwap detect restricted countries? on: March 08, 2022, 03:13:44 AM
Why PancakeSwap don't show the user coins and tokens?
Are you sure that you have connected the correct wallet to Pancakeswap? You may have connected a different wallet.
Note that pancakeswap only shows the tokens that are on binance smart chain. If you have an ERC20 or any other token which is not BEP20, it can't be traded on Pancakeswap at all.

Thank you.
Yes:

I have Ethereum and other ERC20 tokens in my Trust Wallet too.

It seems mobile thing, most websites aren't well optimized for mobile browsers. It should work on desktop.
