No, you then convert from that cheaper coin to coin you came to exchange in first place. Yesterday, wanted to convert 1 dot to hive. For this pair, minimum was 1.4 dot, so first converted 1 dot to tron (this pair had 0.6 dot minimum) and then tron to hive. Hope it's not confusing. |

They have different 'minimum amounts' for different pairs.
If ever feel stuck and feel like you are below minimum then try different pairs. Tron, hive and similar low transaction fee blockchain work best, thereon convert to coin/token you came to exchange.

As always, in my opinion, the people who are getting this attacked most of the time it's from people are chasing airdrop and minted some free stuff on "Solana" since their network is being used because of its popularity in the past 6-12 month.
I don't think attackers would have gained millions from airdrop hunters. |

I liked it until this thing happened last week where I sent some Dot there, transaction was showing in wallet but balance was showing 0 so couldn't transfer. Message was,
"there is issue with polkadot nodes, team is working on it. We’ll be available soon. Sorry for inconvenience." - didn't find this issue mentioned elsewhere except in trust wallet, so it appeared only Trust wallet had that issue.
Tried other wallets by importing mnemonic of trust wallet into them, the address was different. Searched online for solution, it asked to use some commands to execute to find proper address but I don't have pc so couldn't do that either. After around a day, it was resolved.
Not exactly their fault, pissed nonetheless.
