3661  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Near success syndrome in trading. on: February 16, 2021, 11:32:17 PM
Did you coin this phrase on your own?
I guess not.

http://www.rexchimex.com/2017/04/near-success-syndrome.html?m=1
https://www.rymstarayekwu.medium.com/near-success-syndrome

Could this be termed "Near success syndrome in trading?".
Are you or Do you know someone with a similar episode?
If he was really that close achieving the goal then it should have been that syndrome but if not I think that was just some sort of no plan B or something or does not implement a stop-loss even if it's just on spot market. I think I know one and that's my past self but I did grow and now I always stick to my plan and there's no way perfect on trading you really can't buy at the very top or bought at the very bottom but if you devise some plan that be happy if it will be executed.
3662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 16, 2021, 08:26:20 AM
He one of the most exciting players in the league before maybe it's about the injuries he has to acquire over the years, but I think going to a team who will help him go back to his old self will do, will the lakers make interest in him, if he is offered by LA with a minimum the best thing for him is to accept it, but for sure other teams will pursue him, hoping that he will perform on the same level like before, fun to watch.
That will be totally exciting with those real man dunks that he always gave in the early season of his career that will be missed for sure, one of the explosive dunkers.  Though that's still doubtful of him, I think it's still possible if he goes a thorough rehabilitation, look what's Paul George capable of now he is surely near at the past level he was before and I think what he experience was way more difficult than Blake, just my two cents.
3663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we lose at gambling? on: February 16, 2021, 01:27:02 AM
So far the most problem I encounter was "bankroll management" and "chasing losses" it's the most common thing do happen when I am losing at gambling. To be honest, these two can be summarize as greed and that's all there is to it. Though this is manageable but psychologically I think it's sometimes unavoidable when you caught up on it, it's like you get into an addiction.

We are three fullstack developers and two marketing managers from Croatia. We decided to quit corporate jobs and create something great together. We attract new people in team, everything goes according to the plan. Yes sure, our team conducted an ICO in 2018, whose purpose was to raise funds for games development for the EOS ecosystem. All games and smart contracts for them were successfully launched. The current ICO is being held to create a global gaming platform that would introduce as many players as possible to the realm of cryptocurrency and give a new level of blockchain games development.
Saying you are a great team of twenty or more people doesn't make some sort of assurances unless you provide something valid to the community. Can at least the public know your team is? Is there some GitHub commit in the past months? Since you're still from 2018 why does your telegram community was too low on members, you should at least provide them some promotions to keep them hanging and still support the project.

I'd say there's too many red flags on your project base on my observation and that sudden announcement conducting an ICO and you're still from 2018 and there's no huge changes has been made, your games are still not live that's the least to mention.

Yeah, we don't need to trust it, you're new, the site is 6 days old and the thing you've just said in this thread was totally a "No" to try to. By the way, having no free spin was totally a huge NO too.

Hi mate, thanks! You will be able to play other games with this bonus. We will be the first to open online blackjack and roulette very soon.
Well, thanks for that fast response and I think it's worth waiting for other games since poker was way not active at the moment. Just a question, since you are planning to have an ICO can we at least know who the team behind gamblr? Furthermore, I read that you conducted an ICO past 2018 how does it go, any information regarding that? So far this was just what I found searching the web https://icorating.com/ico/gamblr-gamblr/ and it's stated there that 70% of daily profit yet the current one was only 50% and no fixed period on when it will be shared.

WELCOME BONUS
REGISTER IN ONE CLICK AND GET YOUR BONUS WITHOUT THE DEPOSIT

Giving out
1500 GOLD
2 TOURNAMENT TICKETS
5 GEM
Somehow I got that bonus and the thing is I do like the anonymity it offers like without logging in via email or something you can just play with random username. My question is wa the giveaway of the 1500 gold and other stuffs playable on other games just like roulette, etc? I think it was just meant for poker stuff, what I mean is when the other games are already live since most games aren't yet and right now afaik it's just poker and there are no active players.

Whales do stand better chances at winning races and they deserve their rewards since they risk big amounts for small rewards which is why I find it silly when some gamblers complain about whales winning races.
They do deserve it yes and as a fish I do understand that my odds getting the rewards was way too rare. To be honest what's come to me is I embrace it and I also embrace that I may not get that win in the first place when there's too many whales joining the promotions, giveaways or other similar things like that, it really favors to them.

Here, our big traditional base casino's have open up, of course with social distancing and other safety protocols. And I heard that they have reduce slot machines or the games being provided in the floor. Never tried to go and check it out, although I have received a lot of SMS from one of them since I'm a VIP. Now, I prefer online crypto gambling, makes me safe, and will never go to land base because I don't what to take a risk.
Speaking of some whales maybe we have Dave1 here on that list. The good thing about online gambling is you can play anywhere as long as internet connectivity is available and good thing about it was the bunch of games you can play online though part of it you may gonna miss the ambiance of a traditional casino.
3670  Other / Meta / Re: Do you click on signatures? on: February 13, 2021, 11:11:17 AM
To be honest, I mostly do this especially if it's new to me and there are some description written on the signature being advertised by the user whether it's just plain text or those fancy and colorful BBCodes. We don't know how long this will last in this industry or who might be the last one standing but I'm just thankful at least for some reason we earn but aside from that there are learning as well that we get here especially reading some insights of other users.

Facts are those who last here for long are those gambling kind of signatures and I guess mixers do tend to be on the second then exchanges.
3671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my xrp or wait until $1? on: February 13, 2021, 06:03:54 AM
I just wondered how the xrp market is going to be in the next few hours, my feet is shaking right now because of the recent pumps. My perception was expecting a huge dump but it was really uncertain due to uptrend movement of xrp price.
As of now there's a possibility that it will hit $1, am afraid I would fail. Looking forward for some advises should I wait for $1 or sell now?

Please check here the live chart, https://www.dailyfx.com/ripple-xrp
If you manage to take profit then get/sell it unless there is a clear light about the lawsuit with them with the SEC. If you are somehow just into FOMO seeing some videos then don't be, saying it will hit $1 was just some sort of advertisement, remember right now it was just a pump and dump token.
3672  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: February 13, 2021, 04:40:42 AM
I don’t think we should be upset, because the terms of the competition were originally designed to encourage players to spend more money. Accordingly, those who spend more get more tickets.

There are many gamblers who can't spend much and some do not willing to spend high as they play gambling keeping risk management in view.
Most of these competitions favor those who can wager more. The more rich you are and willing to play with big amounts, the more chances are for you to win the competitions.
The thing is even those who wager more, who got more tickets are sometimes don't get the jackpot or some consolation. Though it favors most on those who have more bankroll others are still chasing to play hoping they still got those luck in their hands.
3673  Local / Pilipinas / Re: (BSP warning) illegal online gambling on: February 12, 2021, 10:38:04 PM

3674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 12, 2021, 02:10:14 PM

NBA All-Star update, the plan is to make all events happen on a single night. The dunk contest is planned to insert during half-time.

I don't get it, why they don't just hold the Dunk Contest on a separate schedule on that day instead. No difference at all.
More like they really are into a fast pace approach these days considering they plan to have the next 2021-22 season same as it was in the past. I think that's still a good one I'm just hoping that this time we will see a good looking performance from the players especially those who might be on the list of the dunk contest. If this was the final decision of the NBA committee then we just have to accept it.

Since it was written in Russian texts better if it will be translated by a Russian, I don't know if these guys can help you and would accept $50 for the translation job, maybe you should give it a try.

Try to contact the thread starters and if they are still active on translation jobs, I found these profiles way more reputable. Check the links below:

3677  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: February 12, 2021, 06:07:39 AM
i learned about
Japanese candles
classic analysis
EW theory
harmonic analysis

and about the Indications, i learned how to use
RSI
MACD
stoch rsi
and volume profile

should I add anything to this?

I think of all the things you need to learn the best one is planning and the execution of your trade plus the need to have a good risk management. There are no perfect analysis as well as indicators but if you have a plan on your trading that's the way to success and remember as well that you have to have consistency like how much is your risk to reward ratio most successful traders have this kind of strategy and I am adapting onto it as well.
3678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Selling to lock in profit question... on: February 12, 2021, 03:46:21 AM
My question is, do I lose any advantage by selling at this new high And when the coin retraces back down to 15 cents,  reinvest the entire amount?
No, you aren't at a disadvantage since you sell it at the high then reinvest at a retest and thinking it will make new ATH, that's fine I guess. You'd only at a disadvantage here if the coin goes to 10 cents again or lower and you sell it to cut your losses + the fees trading it.

Like, am I at a more disadvantaged position because I am now purchasing the coin at 15 cents, when I had once purchased it at 10 cents? Would I be in a better position if I were to just hodl the coin I purchased cheaply instead of taking profit and reinvesting at the higher price than my original purchase price?

Well, even if you purchased it at 15 cents you have more tokens to what it was before or you have more in USD value. You purchased at 10 cents with 1000 tokens that's $10 in USD value then you sell that 1000 tokens for 20 cents then you do have now $20 and you reinvest at 15 cents and you now have 1333 tokens amounting $20 compared to what's from before that only 1000 tokens (this is just an example and it exclude the fees but in real life that will be much lower, just for example purposes only) correct me if I'm wrong.
3679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: shittiest soft ware ever!! on: February 11, 2021, 11:57:22 PM
Here are the list of Softwiss casinos operating in the crypto gambling industry: https://softswiss-casinos.com/ luckily my favorite casinos aren't on that list but some of them are known like TrueFlip and Winz and they have been introduced here in bitcointalk. Better you read the terms and conditions first before you do so and here's the catch better look on the t&c about withdrawal/deposit, the restricted country, if it requires KYC or not and more similar problems that most people do encounter in an online casino.

I usually didn't read the whole t&c but I mostly do look for those I mentioned above as that's when it really gets messy if these casinos put some restriction on your account.
3680  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptocurrency value display on: February 11, 2021, 10:09:29 PM
Don't overthink too much just because it was displayed in btc instead of USD you can always remember how much was the chip was whenever you're playing BB. Before you play on tables on btc mostly it's in 1 chip and better if you know first how much it was valued and the casino I guess has that kind of conversion. As I've said don't mind it too much better you play first on micro stakes so you'll feel the vibes playing chips in btc usually playing on micro it doesn't cost dollar for every chip. Try to play on https://www.swcpoker.club it's beginner friendly site in bitcoin poker and there are enough players out there daily so you'll not miss out to play but I advice play only first on micro stakes.
