Has anyone figured out how to claim coins from mobile wallets. The doge, litecoin and bitcoin wallets i have will only export an encrypted backup that's not compatible with any desktop wallet and now access to view the the private keys.
Try exporting your addresses to your computer if possible.

Cutoff date is May 12, 2014 for old addresses
The exact date the address had to hold coins was on May 12, 2014. so basically what this site does is buying your old address for 11 bucks this is good for people who have alot of unused old address from 2014 , i wonder why the website buy alot of old address.
We are claiming Clamcoins. <snip> I found two more old addresses from paper wallets I sold at the fair back in 2013, but I see they still have the original funds in them....
What do you mean they still have original funds on them? You should move your BTC off any address before you sell them to us (better safe than sorry!)

4) Discard the Bitcoin private keys used to get clams and never use them again.
Do not discard Bitcoin private keys. Sigh... why delete a wallet instead of moving it aside and keeping the old copy just in case? You should never delete a wallet.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1327.msg15136#msg15136Is it possible to claim clams by signing a message with your privkey?
Yes, but the message has to be in a particular format. It has to be in the same format as a regular transaction. For the inputs, list the CLAM utxo's you're spending. For the outputs, list the address and amount you are claiming. Then sign the whole thing using your Bitcoin private key. There is a reference implementation that can do this for you in the CLAM github - it's part of the CLAM wallet - but you are free to rewrite it if you like. I'm hoping that we can add a Clamcoin mining pool on FreeBitcoins that will allow people to join our pool by this method as well. We have a lot of people who want to claim their free bitcoins, but aren't a fan of coughing up a private key. This should hopefully lead to helping CLAM decentralize. We still have to allow user balances and a few other things before that, but it is in the works and I think a good way to get "free bitcoins" long term. (like, giving up my sig address).
I'm sure you already know this, but your address is already public on the Blockchain... just no name. Same same but different... BUT still same same.

I'm still looking to purchase empty DOGE wallets that were in use on May 12, 2014! Paying roughly .01 BTC per address. You can dig your whole wallet with our new feature all at once as well. https://freebitcoins.com/clamchecker/dig/

Omg this still continues? I remember when first he had thrown the idea and people flocked to it, than I heard he had a trouble and a setback, never looked back. Jesus he turned this around didn't he?
Good job man.
Would you consider selling you .12 BTC for .04 and I'll assume bb's debt (KYLE)?

I can vouch for the service. I was paid in less than 48 hours.
Thanks for your business! I've been staying on top of payouts for the dig. They have been getting paid out within 12 hours generally... I like to have the extra spaces time 48 hours wise to assure that customer have a good experience. Feel free to leave positive trust here on Bitcointalk with your ref pointed at your comment. (No biggie either way... thanks for digging and be sure to dig your full .dat to be sure that you didn't miss any hidden change addresses!) I have been using the site for a few days now. Just picking up small 1 min tips, as the other options have not been available. It is a pretty clean page, even with the Ad blockers off. Quite a few other sites have so much spam you can barely access the faucet. Not this one though. Thanks for that. Unfortunately right now it seems I am having the IP timeout issue. Bummer but, I'm looking forward to the updates to come. Keep up the great work.
We are currently working on this. Keep in mind that the site is still under construction and we will be having our Grand Opening in thef

My bitcoin address is over 3 years old and yet the system says that my wallet is not qualified. Please enlighten me
You need to have held the coins ON the exact day May 12, 2014. Age doesn't matter... just that they held a balance on that day.

I'm updating Clamcoin.org.
Can anyone think of any websites I'm missing?
Does cryptosprout still use CLAM?
Can you compare the similar and different between CLAMS and BTC ? Is there any advantages of CLAMS? I want to invest in CLAMS, but I dont see any good news can come to increase it's value. The major difference is in my opinion: Bitcoin is Proof of Work. So a third party miner is spinning the network and adding security. CLAM is Proof of Stake. So the coins them self are spinning and securing the network Think of the two like companies: Bitcoin your voting power is in a third party machine that has nothing to do with the company. CLAM your voting power is the coin itself and that is the economy as well. CLAM is scary cause someone with enough money could buy out the voting power and rule the system. Bitcoin has a bit more security due to the number of computers and such already in the world, but it is still a concern such as ASIC and future tech. Blending the two together is going to be the bread and butter of these two coins. It's the crowd that floats around BTC and CLAM that make them interesting. FreeBitcoins.com is in the process of beginning to combine the two in what I believe is the "proper" way.

Fuck segwit(?)
Not entirely sure on this one. I'd probably just go the easy route and agree with Dooglus.
If segwit was the best for CLAM... we'd already be doing it. (I'd assume)
It's really not anything to do with me. I would be in favor of having SegWit and Lightning Network for CLAM, but I don't feel like I'm able to do the work needed to make it happen. It's quite a big job merging in the Bitcoin Core changes - there are so many of them. xploited has been the one to do the merging in the past so I guess it's likely to happen if he's willing to put in the work. Ah ok well I support SegWit and Lighting Nework as well then. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)
