3661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: March 31, 2020, 03:07:38 PM
If you did not Dream to be achieving your financial Goal?then you are not a gambler at all.

lets not be Hypocrite guys because every gamblers have dreamed of this because as a luck games we wanted even only in dreaming we can reach what we wanted in gambling risk.

yeah at some Point i did this one.
I agree. If you think you are going to get lucky and suddenly become rich because you are gambling in a casino, you should not be gambling in a casino to begin with. This is not for you to make money and get rich, this is for you to have fun and see all the entertainment.

Casinos are built upon the house edge, they will never lose money no matter what happens, if you play long enough (and maybe even in short term if you are unlucky) you WILL lose your money, that is how casinos work, they couldn't stand profitable if they didn't had that house edge, their literal existence depends on gamblers losing money, do you think they will leave it to chance. So, just gamble because it is fun, gamble because you want to spend some free time in casinos and you will not be disappointed.
3662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Site's Investing (Is it worth it?) on: March 30, 2020, 07:44:27 PM
What are you allowing with your money is a lot tougher than just asking for money. If you are bankrolling the casino so that they can offer bigger max amounts that is a lot more important, but if you are asking basically for partnership and spending that money on everything from bankroll to staff to marketing and other stuff I am out, I won't invest to it.

You may think that is less around but with dapps and other stuff there is really a lot of people who are actually doing something like that, they care their own coin or token and what not and they tell people to invest into it and with the coins they sell, they are basically making you part owner of the casino but also spending that money on whatever they want. That is not something I am quite happy to invest into.
3663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 30, 2020, 06:56:51 PM
Hearing about Rudy Gobert getting better, Donovan Mitchell getting better and Marcus Smart getting better gives me a big hope, I am not saying it is recovering all around the world, Italy is still dying at a rate that is unprecedented and it is definitely at a level where even going outside for grocery became a life or death situation so I am not really undermining the situation. However, seeing these NBA players getting better tells me one important and very sad thing to me.

If the whole world was as ready as millionaires and famous celebrities, we would have a lot more people staying alive right now, most of the people who died probably died because they didn't had the access to healthcare as well as NBA players, remember Utah and OKC both used 50% available test kits for their teams when they got tested, now there is more tests available but they basically bought something very vital for the community and the future of some people because they had the money for it.

Hopefully, world will get more advanced technologically against corona and we will have much more tests and much more treatment methods soon so that less and less people die in the end.

Also, this is a great stuff:

Let's not miss it, guys!

Great initiative! Here is more details about it:
Yeah, when they are making so much money and helping people out with it, you see that these are not the "evil corporation greedy CEO gives himself 50 million bonus check while firing 10k" type of places, this is just us man, I mean I am pretty sure @wetsuit and all the other higher ups if there is any (don't know if he is the single owner or not) is just a regular dude, he is a cool guy who just happened to build something amazing back in the day that got bigger and bigger over time but that didn't changed him, he is still the same cool dude he was 10 years ago (well probably a lot older by now).

So, I assume this helping out thing was something he would do 10 years ago if he had the money, and now he does so he helps as much as he can. I really like being around to see the evolution of the business while everyone seems to be still quite down to earth.
3665  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 30, 2020, 02:23:46 PM
I think there is definitely something going on with china but I am not entirely sure if it is the way you guys think it is.

I doubt they actually got the virus out knowingly and killed people, sure they could be really horrible government and dictator and all that but this wouldn't really be something you can control knowingly, it could get out of hand and ruin your whole nation if you are not careful. Think about Chinese people suddenly leaving where they are and going to some other cities like the Italians did.

What would happen? We are talking about millions of people infected if there was something like that. China could do whatever they want but they can't really predict the future. However, they could have just took advantage by building huge manufacturing places for medicines, kits and all that because they are always great at manufacturing.
3666  Economy / Economics / Re: How long this crisis will be? on: March 30, 2020, 10:34:47 AM
It all depends on if China is telling the truth or not. Many people think that China is lying right now and they still have infected people and they are not really fully recovered or nowhere near the level they think they are recovered. Hell there are people who think China purposefully did this, willing to kill their own people while trying, but they wanted to calm down the Hong Kong people and by creating a pandemic they literally shifted the topic of China suppressing Hong Kongers and now everyone talks about the pandemic.

Maybe it is true, these are after all the horrible people that still have concentration camps. However if that is true, that means we still need a cure and its going to be really horrible year for 2020, all of it. If not true then I am sure we will be better in few months when summer comes.
3667  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it true that Corona Virus may effect trading? on: March 29, 2020, 03:04:44 PM
We will be back on a good prices after these challenges and maybe people are cashing out to protect their needs and health. The virus affects trading simply because it affects the traders and some trader just want to stay safe and focus on their needs than to the market condition.
Yeah I was learning some facts from a few articles and I found that there is an acute shortage of funds too in corona-virus affected places and people are just selling almost every savings they had and I also think that various big miners in these areas are also affected as they might be stopping it and cashing their hardware and even their savings.

It continues to increase, but I hope that our medical team are doing their best protect our world, I salute China for helping Italy and I hope also that we will face the virus as one nation.
I am not sure but I believe some researches have claimed that as the temperature rises this virus tends to slow down and it is mostly dangerous when the temperature is down. But that said, if it was that simple to kill the virus then there would have been a vaccine by for now so fingers crossed but this is really tough times for all of us.
3668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to Hire Crypto Trader on: March 29, 2020, 02:18:10 PM
Another issue that I see with this is that if a trader is so successful then why would they want to work for you?
Maybe because the trader will meet more like-minded people and grow even more, I mean there are teams of traders where you can discuss each other and generate even better profits for the company. There are various tools which trader require and not everyone has those tools so you may work for them and they provide you the best tools and other traders do brainstorming with you to get the best possible ideas.

This might be a nice deal to a trader, but I don't see any good trader with consistent profits wanting to trade for you to maybe breakeven on what they would work with normally. Since you said project I'm guessing this is maybe like a mutual fund for cryptos you want to create?
There are people who have capital while there are people who have trading abilities but lack capital, I believe unless it is a scam attempt this might be a good idea where talent meets capital.
3669  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to buy Bitcoin (since halving is coming) on: March 29, 2020, 01:40:03 PM
Hi guys,

I live in Florida, and I would like to buy Bitcoin now.
I want to get some 2 BTC.

Where should I look for sellers who can accept cash?
You should visit the exchange section - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=53.0 but there you would find mostly trading and I see that you want to buy bitcoins with cash.

I guess you should visit some person to person trading platform like localbitcoins (although I heard they have removed cash trades) so maybe try paxful or other platforms.

Something you should know about cash trades though, a lot of people will have criminal intentions when they see you with 2 bitcoins worth money with you so maybe either have some friends or security or maybe just meet in a hotel and trade where you feel safe enough to trade, I am suggesting this because I see that you are relatively new here.
3670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Store of Value on: March 29, 2020, 01:03:19 PM
@OP: You shouldn’t really be blaming such people. Most of them that are saying that are not even long term investors, they are just some people who are expecting the price of bitcoin to keep going up all the time and they want to be making profit within a short time and since it’s not working that they are worried about it. This is what is causing these people to be saying that Bitcoin is trash and that it’s not a store of a value.

Bitcoin can only be a store of value if you have the intention to hold it from now to a long time. I guess most people might have already started to realize the how strong bitcoin markets is doing even in this pandemic times. It may fluctuate but it will serve its original purpose of being a medium for storing value.
3671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is Bitcoin useful as a currency if so few services accept it? on: March 29, 2020, 12:23:24 PM
It’s not a must that it will be accepted everywhere. PayPal is a very popular system of payment, but there are still places where it’s not being accepted and majority accept card payment. So, you shouldn’t be worried about that. You’re the one who’s going to places where it’s not being accepted and still complaining. Why not check out places where it’s accepted instead?

If you’re looking for a way to buy something online and pay with Bitcoin you should check out purse.io, and BitPay is another means as you can get gift cards easily with BTC.
3672  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: March 29, 2020, 10:36:18 AM
For sure, having patience is something I always do. It’s good for everyone to be having patience when they buy bitcoin.

You invest and wait, even if things are getting rough, you just have to relax and wait for the right time to come before you can talk about selling your coins. Our own country lockdown is coming on this week, so I have seriously worked hard and bought things that I will be needing once there is a lockdown. My coins are still there in my wallet – I invested before and it has been in my wallet since before the fall in the price of cryptocurrency.
3673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: March 28, 2020, 06:42:53 PM
These two are sure good altcoins to invest, and I also believe that both will be successful in the future, but I would like to ask the community here if which coin they believe will be more successful in the future. I also added a poll so you can vote, this would help people reading this thread to easily determine which coin is better.

Please share your opinion too on why you choose a certain coin.
Any one of them you choose to invest in is a good choice, at least they are both on the top list, though Ethereum seems to be indisputable king of altcoins, every other altcoin that managed to reach that top still ends up crashing and dropping back to a lower position again.

There are many reasons why I might be choosing Ethereum and the first reason is that there is an increase in the demand for ETH's smart contracts and functions. Such an increase can lead to an increase in the price of ETH in this year 2020. Other things like PoS algorithm, and pending forks can lead to an increase as well. But like I have said, both of them are good coins and you should choose whatever pleases you most.
3674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers always make use of advantages on: March 28, 2020, 05:39:51 PM
Last week the United kingdom's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) issued a warning that the coronavirus out real might be providing criminals with the opportunity to swindle investors out of their crypto assets, you've been warned

Scammers are sophisticated, opportunistic and will surely try many things.

Do not trust any one or organization asking for donations to combat the outbreak, it's not real
They are not just after your crypto assets, they are after anything they can get from you whether it is crypto or fiat, they are taking it from you. There are some scammers that has created fake charity websites and some of them pretend to be popular organizations and use their names to ask for donations, and once you donate you will be thinking that the money is being used for the purpose as of which you donated it, but you don’t know that the money has been given to scammers.

So, people really has to be careful, if you see any advert or anyone that’s asking for donation, you should verify if they are legit; if they claim to Red Cross, check their social media pages to know if it’s verified and all that, before you donate.

🚨  NEW PROMO ALERT 🚨 Win the first map in an #ESLProLeague, but go on to lose?
Get your money back!! Up to $50!!
Let me get this straight, so if I gamble on one team to win the game, wager 50 bucks on that game, then they win the first map, but lose the game in general, I will get that 50 bucks all total back? Or do I have to gamble more than 50 bucks to get the 50 bucks? It doesn't say the wagering requirements so I assume it is whatever you gamble up until 50 bucks, so if you gamble 10 bucks you get 10 bucks back, 20 bucks you get 20 bucks, 50 bucks you get 50 bucks, 100 bucks you still get 50 bucks for max. Is that correct?

I think I can find some games like that, usually you don't know the first map but if we can get our favorites to win, we can actually know what map they will probably choose and which ones they are good at, usually it all depends a bit on luck though.
3676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 28, 2020, 04:28:26 PM
Gambling world is not just the casinos you go to, do not forget about the online casinos that people are going right now because there are not that many other stuff they like to do for now. Poker website pokerstars for example recently had a new update because they couldn't handle all the new traffic, that was one part of showing how much people are gambling.

Crypto casinos are living the same thing as well, look at number of people who are gambling at stake for example, it is one of the highest I have seen in months. So, basically gambling world is both hurt and also profiting right now. The casinos you go to are hurting a lot, casinos online are profiting like hell right now. I guess we will see what will happen at the aftermath when corona is over.
3677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 28, 2020, 03:58:40 PM
The trouble that USA has is the thing that made USA such a powerful nation to begin with in history, its the land. Normally it was a nation built upon a whole continent size country and they had so much land that was uncultured that they took over and became the biggest nation in the world thanks to it while all others were dealing with less land and less resources to go on.

However that massive land, even with all the improvements in technology, is the trouble they have right now. Building test kits in multiple locations and distributing everyday all the time constantly without stopping is hard. Hospitals needs new kits every single second, they are literally keeping people in lockdown in hospitals until kits arrive, which is taking some time considering it is quite further apart from each other.

NBA might actually be cancelled for good this year I am afraid, I want it back as well but it looks like it is getting more and more impossible each day.
3678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be fooled on: March 27, 2020, 07:58:20 PM
I have seen a lot of people say what they believe has caused the price of bitcoin to fall but I don’t believe all that, though they were all trying to make points, but I still know that Corona virus pandemic is the main issue here. One person said it wasn’t coronavirus but due to the announcement that quantum computing has been discovered, then he tried to link it to what happened when the first announcement was made.

I have also seen others that said it’s due to one scam project and also because of millions of dollars that were pulled out from the market. With all that said, I still know that coronavirus is the main cause of the fall. Cryptocurrency market isn’t the only market that was affected by the pandemic.
3679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers don't trap victims with too good offers anymore on: March 27, 2020, 07:11:09 PM
I am sorry man, but 2% on a daily basis and 14% weekly is something that doesn’t seem legit to me. So if you’re going to be getting up to 2% on daily and 14% weekly, that means they are promising investors up to 730% in a year, lmao that’s ridiculous. How the heck am I supposed to believe in an investment that promises me that much?

It already has scam written all over it. Just check out other legit normal investments you do, none of them can pay you that much, most of them are around ten, twelve percent and similar returns. Highest I have ever seen was 40% and that was a farm investment that was still starting up and after they got popular they reduced to 28% and 30%.
3680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I earn money during coronavirus? Is it possible by crypto coins? on: March 27, 2020, 06:40:36 PM
If you decide to go by cryptocurrency way (by Hodl as some has suggested) how are you sure that the price of Bitcoin will increase? Just like yesterday the money I sent to my wallet around 8:00 am that I wanted to use in making some payments, the price of bitcoin decreased a bit and I lost a part of that money.

So, I had to fund the wallet with extra money to do what I wanted to do. And yes after I was done the price still increased a bit later on. That’s how it is, you can still invest an amount you’re okay with and leave it there. You can then look for other online jobs that you can do. There are sites like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr and the rest of them that you can use to get jobs. If you want to be getting paid through cryptocurrency there are freelance platforms that will pay you with that.
