3661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: April 26, 2021, 08:18:03 AM
According to Social Media Rumors People did think that the Dubai Government was apparently approving and giving license to various hotels for Gambling. But as it turns out the news was indeed false.
*Therefore if there is a person living in Dubai who was indeed fooled by this should realize that no hotel does own a legal license and be safe, be careful and stay away from such scams*
Hey, thanks a lot for such a warning; on first reading the subject, I thought how an Islamic government will be allowing gambling for their own people and tourists. But lately I read most Gulf counties started allowing many things like women in driving and other similar modern thought based things hence I first thought about the possibilities for allowing gambling on their soil. Personally I believe it is better not allowing gambling as it will ruin people's wealth slowly because I am not profitable with my online gambling.
3662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 26, 2021, 06:51:16 AM
So maybe eSports is a good recommendation since there is a break in-between matches, I would say probably besides eSports,I think basketball or football could be a good sports to bet on, pretty straightforward and no fuzz.
Yeah esports got me considering profits compared to any other sports in my more than five years of gambling. I do not have any specific reasons why esports got me good profits whereas normal sports weren't. Because I am watching and I am interested on both of these sports events at the same level still predicting in esports is somehow feasible for me for some hidden reasons.

I guess I have bet on more than 8 different sports as I am following all of them. Probably, having interest on more sports must be the reason why I am not profitable in real sport events.
3663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 25, 2021, 10:03:46 PM
It is very likely that Bouna Sarr will leave FC Bayern München this summer after one season. Sarr's performances often fell short of FC Bayern's expectations. The current market value of Sarr is about €5.5m according to transfermarket.com.
When you are talking about 5-10 million levels for a player it is obvious that it can be anywhere, you could find a proper European decent club to give him a chance, but not a top team but at least a mid level team, or even a bottom level team but on a great league. Or you could have Qatar, China, any other that type of nation trying to get him as well, it is cheap enough price that any football club could afford and it would definitely be fine for them.

Football is a very expensive game for teams who are in nations with bad economy, while Europeans pay 30-40-50 million euros for players, other nations have to deal with 1-2 million, it is not just about talent, it is about nations economy and that creates a huge disadvantage, these type of players like Sarr allows teams from other nations to close the gap by buying cheaper level but experienced talented players who are down on their luck for now.
3664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 25, 2021, 09:29:15 PM
Benzema can't always carry the team but he is still doing a great job that's for sure. But even he couldn't prevent the point loss against Betis last night. They have a CL game too and because of that I guess they couldn't focus fully on this game.
Interestingly I feel like all the goals Benzema had was basically the system focusing on a good striker to score the goals. Don't get me wrong I am not saying Benzema otherwise wouldn't be able to score goals, he is a marvelous striker and he would great anywhere, I am just talking about the number that's it, put him on liverpool instead of Firmino for example and he would score 10 goals at best, not because he is bad, Firmino is not bad, he is great and so is Benzema but the system there is different and helps all attackers, even backs if they are up front, it is a whole team offense whereas in Real it is more like "get the ball to person who suppose to score" type of striker mentality.

This is why I think it is quite obvious he has more goals than he normally would in another strategy. At the end of the day Zidane is a great manager but he needs to bring other plaers into play on offense, he is amazing on defense management but his offense needs help.
3665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: RIP Stocks on: April 25, 2021, 09:09:34 PM
Now I am not sure whether what I have done was good or bad but I think it's high time now and I should have done it already.
I just sold ALL my stocks and have decided to go all in and trade crypto. I won't be asking which crypto to invest in because I have my own choices already.
It's obvious that the amount of profit in crypto is much more than stocks. At least that's what I have experienced with 2 years of trading stocks.
Although I earned a little profits I think I could have made those profits in a very short time in crypto.
Hence I just sold all my stocks 2 days back and waiting for the funds to get to my bank account.

I will be using all those funds and invest in some coins I have decided to invest in and then see how much profits I make in crypto.
All the best to guys who are here and surviving. Keep going on. We are here for the long run.
I believe there is nothing wrong with that. Obviously speaking stocks are not bad, I am not suggesting everyone to just leave all stocks behind and move to crypto, it is a personal preference thing, doing it is not right or wrong, not doing it is not right or wrong. You can stay in stocks, you can leave stocks, you can do anything you want and it would not be right or wrong from the start. What could make it wrong?

If you are making great profits in stock and move it all to crypto and start losing a lot of money, that would be bad, if you are in stocks and losing money but move to crypto and make money that would be great, so basically if you did a good thing or not depends on the results. Which is why I think we should care about the future and take a look what happens after we make a decision to see if you did a good thing or you were wrong with that.
3666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: April 25, 2021, 08:48:52 PM
Bitcoin and altcoins are heavily correlated, we all know that but they do not move at exactly the same speed and we can clearly see this is the case, at the beginning of this bull run most of the growth was concentrated on bitcoin and that is why its dominance was going up almost everyday.

Now we are seeing the opposite with altcoins growing faster than bitcoin and taking away some of the dominance of bitcoin, so even if both altcoins and bitcoin move on roughly the same direction the rate at which they do is different and that can be enough to produce profits with the right strategy.
But I'm not sure what kind of strategy will be useful here when bitcoin and altcoins are moving on the same direction but at different rate. Because what I am trying to say here is, instead of focusing on bitcoin dominance as a bigger thing here for decision making, we can go for fundamental and technical analysis on altcoins to predict its direction; that will be much easier than get confusing about bitcoin dominance as a tool to predict the movements of altcoins.

As far as my experience concerned, there cannot any single rule which will be demonstrating how bitcoin dominance is influencing the movements of bitcoin and altoins and how affects each other. So, focusing on other strategy will be helpful and less confusing.
3667  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: April 25, 2021, 08:10:14 PM
In terms of the overall market, I believe we are still bullish and the uptrend is still in place. If we look at previous price action, we see that there is usually a one month consolidation before a breakout to new highs. We can still go lower (to $ 45 k - $ 46 k), but I expect a full recovery after that.
Another correction before full recovery seems reasonable because in the past bitcoin has traded like that only. We could expect bitcoin to consolidate from this point but another round of correction also possible at any time because whales may manipulate easily right now so that they will get into bitcoin for more cheaper prices.

Whales are always known for manipulating bitcoin market and when market is already into correction phase then their manipulation will be higher degree in order to make most of this current situation of bitcoin markets. So, getting ready to face anything could be good idea.
3668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the significance of taking profit on: April 25, 2021, 07:40:45 PM
when there is a chance to take profit, take it, small or big, it's again, I saw some posting they earn millions, they are so happy, but after a day they regret it, why because they are so ambitious, and no contentment on what they have, always take gains, don't let it slip away or your regret it.
But, you're forgetting one important thing here; markets may bounce back at any time so that we will continue our profit level but you're talking like this is the end and there will be no return of market into bullish mode; or at least you're sounding like that to me. People who are missing profits by not booking may not need to regret when they are holding known coins like etehreum/BNB but people who are holding shitcoins and random tokens, might have booked when they were in profits; no exceptions.

So, it is all about what kind of coins/tokens you're holding; when you're believing into your due diligence then you never need to worry about because when you're holding good coins and tokens then definitely you will get bigger profits than before.
3669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Dogecoin still worth to invest? on: April 25, 2021, 06:51:42 PM
Actually it's not too late if there are still people who want to invest in Dogecoin, because after correction there will usually be a further increase even though everyone won't know when it will happen again, so what needs to be considered in this case is the size of the risk when someone chooses Dogecoin for the investment.
Yeah there are people still speculating about dogecoins to be reaching $1 price level in coming days. Probably it has stopped its rally right now because bitcoin market is not into bullish trend like before which may be the reason why people started suspecting about continuing investing with dogecoins. But, honestly I'm not having any doubts about the future of dogecoins because it is backed by billionaires.

When there are people for continuously pump dogecoins, I guess we can invest with it without any big hesitations. But, obvious plan for long-term holding that will help even on the occurrence of unexpected events.
3670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: April 24, 2021, 08:00:48 PM
can you give me some suggestion about which Altcoin is best to buy now ??
Many coins in the market has been growing very well and making huge gains . Look at coins like Compound, it’s  a really good coin that has been growing for long now, and I don’t think that’s going to be the ending of the trend for thetokens, it’s definitely going to be continuing with the growth since we are yet to see the altcoins season. If you’re looking for good coins that you’re going to invest your money this year then you should likely choose that, and other coins like Ethereum which has also been growing too, then other includes Decentraland, and STORJ.
3671  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 24, 2021, 07:23:30 PM
with playoffs getting closer and closer, I think the lakers management and coaching staff should play LeBron and Davis in the playoffs there is no need for them to rush to play in the regular season maybe 5-10 minutes of play should if they insist they want to play although I think they will contest it, they should think about the championship, not the regular season, they will be frustrated with it but they will benefit a lot,
They might make them play with restricted minutes if ever the roleplayers will fail to win some of their games.
35 wins at number 5 while Mavs and Blazers tailing them at number 6 and 7 with 32 wins.
There are still 13 games left and it's possible for Lakers to enter a play-in tournament if they can't even win some of the games left. They are not safe yet. I think this is the reason why they are letting AD play to heat him up.
Tomorrow, they will be battling against the Mavs again. Injury reports are swollen on the Lakers team while two on Mavs, Maxi Kleber and KP.
Lakers are doing fine, they are 5th right now and they do not look like they are going to be 6th, which means even if they are 4th they are going to play the same team anyway, and they can't rush their players back and play for 3rd neither that would be silly to force their players back just for that. Which means they do not need to rush Lebron and AD back at all. AD already started with restricted minutes and that's fine, Lebron will get there too.

Only reason to bring those players back before playoffs is that if you are injured and you are getting back, it is risky to go out and play 30+ minutes a night from first game, which means both of them need to play with like 10 at first, then 15 then 20 then 25 and 30 and playoffs before playoffs start, if they can do that and bring them back to speed slowly that would be a lot better and it would help the team more.
3672  Economy / Economics / Re: High prices mean even higher volatility on: April 23, 2021, 07:08:35 PM
There seems to be (have been) another factor at play here, that of altcoins. The last few weeks altcoins have been performing a lot better than the Godfather cryptocurrency, and folks were feverishly selling into the Bitcoin support (while it was there) so that they could get the dough to join the altcoin rally

Then it backfired massively

Remember, every bullrun ends with a bulltrap
I would sort of agree with you but that's going a bit too far isn't it? I mean by the logic of the image we could say that there is a tramboline or something which is a huuuuge one where every bull falls waaaaaaaayyy down and then they fall to the trampoline and jump back up. I am not saying we will never have a crash, it could happen, you could see the start of a huge bear run right now that sees bitcoin going all the way down under 30k, all of these could happen, I can't argue against it.

However we can't say that it is the end of it all, it is just a crash and just like every other crash we had so far I am sure that it will result with another bull run, maybe in 6 months, maybe in a year, or maybe 3 years but I am sure that eventually we will go back over 64k guaranteed, it may not be right away, it may take years but that will happen. This is why the image is sort of wrong, it represents basically an end, this is just the road, we go up and we go down.
3673  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian Banks To Close Accounts Involved with Crypto on: April 23, 2021, 06:13:03 PM
Binance could actually help a lot with that P2P transactions. Their current platform is a sure way on how people would not get scammed. People are only required to do transactions once they do their verification and set up multiple verification. They are only also required to do one account and most people are not even eligible to do transactions without going thru this sure way to confirm that the person doing that transaction is real.
Well, you might be right, but not in countries like in Nigeria where anyone can just walk in and disappear lol.
If you’re going to be doing business with a random someone in countries like Nigeria, you should at least be careful to avoid getting scammed.

Let’s imagine you get scammed by the person, and okay, you know who they are, will you go after them yourself? Who are you going to call, the police? In a country where it’s illegal to trade crypto? Nah, people have to be careful. Although I saw someone post that people can now trade crypto, that their central bank has lifted the ban, but I don’t know how true that is.
3674  Economy / Speculation / Re: We entered a bear market earlier than expected on: April 23, 2021, 04:42:10 PM
This is just another step in the long term bull market. Market is starting to look very healthy for continued upward movement in the coming months, far healthier than it looks a couple months ago.
I agree, nothing to worry about at this point. Even it is more than 20% correction, market is still showing good volume across all exchanges. I like your way of being optimistic because even I am too confident about continuation of bull run from here, honestly I could not express that like you. I know how bitcoin market do behave but that is only up to my intuition level because when someone doubting about future of bitcoins, mostly I go wordless or simply do suggest to make use of dips and nothing more.
3675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Below $50K as Market Sell-Off Continues on: April 23, 2021, 01:15:52 PM
Few minutes ago it was above 50k and now it is going down again. This certainly smells like the next bear market but who knows. I agree with JPM i don't expect a new ATH soon and if it is not going to go up... well you know... then it must go down.
I am still seeing it as usual correction but triggered by FUDs. Technically bitcoin just tested 18 week moving average line which is around $48k levels and bitcoin made low up to $47.4k levels. When USA people enter into markets for today, we had another spike which peaked up to $50.7k in some exchanges and I am seeing that as a good sign as market sentiment is still positive but bears dominating for no reason; or probably still listening to FUDs or expecting lower low hence might be booking profits.

I am sure this correction will not sustain for long time hence we can expect market again entering into $55k to $60k within week time.
3676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is best Altcoin to buy now on: April 22, 2021, 09:14:02 PM
I am thinking of buying XEM, and wait until it reaches above $ 1.5 in the near future. I rate this as one of the undervalued coins compared to the present.
You refer nem? I heard that they gone for fork (with 1:1 rewards) in recent times hence the price of xem got halved. Did you find any chances to garb those free coins? (I am sorry I could not recall the name of new coin which was forked from XEM).

Before fork, I remember xem was trading above 1200 satoshi and right now it is trading only half of that hence your calculation of getting into $1.5 levels may get delayed as per fork. Please check their official ANN topic to get more information on this. I am just stating what I am aware of and this not meant that I am discouraging you against your decision of investment.
3677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: The best way to start earning crypto today! on: April 22, 2021, 08:05:45 PM
Oh, I even thought it was just a random guy talking about a project that he discovered or something of such, didn’t know you were promoting your own platform until I read to the second paragraph. Meehn, to be sincere to you your marketing strategy isn’t good at all, lol how do you start a marketing with “I Think”, it shows that you’re not even hundred percent sure of the product you’re about to sell to people, and tell me, if you’re not sure if what you’re selling them how do you expect other people to take your product serious? Nah that’s not going to happen.

Moreover this is not the first platform that is like this, there are already many and some well established already.
3678  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does that mean trading is more popular than social media now? on: April 21, 2021, 01:58:33 AM
One possible conclusion is that folks are now more interested in swapping crypto and financial assets than they are in interacting on various social media platforms
That is really an interesting conclusion.

I just wanted to link these changes in people's latest activities to the incident of with few months back some people did dogecoin promotions on tiktok and other social media if I remember exactly. People who noticed that dogecoin promotion and the current price of dogecoins then definitely will go for checking crypto space.

Most probably dogecoin's recent surge must be a reason for changes in downloads trend toward crypto related apps.
3679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs Investing (The major differences) on: April 20, 2021, 03:52:52 PM
Here is an infographic examining the differences between trading and investing under the key points of One's goal, philosophy, investment period, profit and tools.

When someone talks about trading I see it as an activity that you do daily (day trading), then when we talk about investment that’s the one I refer to as HODL. HODL is the investment here, because that’s pretty much what you are doing, you are investing when you HODL; when you hold, you put the money in a wallet and then keep it there till there is an increase which is the profit, and it can be for a year or more, and it can as well be less than that, it all depends on how the market moves when you invest that money. This image you have here explains everything properly and that’s just it, the difference between the two things; trading and investment.
3680  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Million Dollar Race - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: April 19, 2021, 04:33:25 PM
Due to govt. restriction I can't access Stake.com so I have to use vpn service to make this happen. To be noted I'm not located US or other region where stake.com doesn't accept gambling. Anyway, in this way is it safe to continue using stake.com gambling service?
Why are you using VPN while there is alternative way to access the site? Stake have made two official mirror site for their users. If your ISP blocking Stake.com then try those mirror links to visit stake. One of them is Stake.games and another one is Stake.bet. My ISP also blocks the main domain of stake and I use stake.games domain to play there. I have posted the official announcement screenshot before, you may check it here
I think it is a dangerous thing to gamble on Stake if your government bans it. I have personally did it myself but I wouldn't suggest that to anyone, it is really not that smart to do something that your government finds illegal. I had a friend who got caught gambling (not at stake) and he was both punished with jail time and money, his jail time was turned into money as well because it was just a small period and not a violent "crime", it was purely just gambling illegally so they obviously just changed it to money right away.

But dude gambled like maybe $1000 total, yet lost about $5000+ just for paying the penalty for it. This is why I think it is quite risky. I do it, I trust myself and how I gamble, but I am taking my own responsibility there, I would not suggest anyone to keep gambling even though it is illegal for you to gamble in your nation.
