3661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 14, 2022, 10:11:46 AM
Well, I believe my recommendation is to give it a shot or to contact customer service.
I would refrain giving it a try. If he do something like what he's planning and the casino finds it out then there's more trouble to his money. It's better for him to talk seriously with the customer service and be outright on what has happened.
Things can be done peacefully if it's being made through talks and I think that the casino will spare him as it is his fund and didn't came from nowhere. There's a chance that he'll be given consideration.
3662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Good ways to trade? on: February 14, 2022, 08:34:40 AM
The easiest way to identify a pump and dump scheme is when an unknown coin suddenly rises substantially without a real reason to do so.
That's for sure a pump and dump and as much as you can, you should avoid it. I avoid those projects that have pumped without any reason and I don't want to get stuck in between of it. The chance of an investor chasing the pump and get profit on it is fairly low. Those who have been there at the start, they're the ones that's making a lot of money because they've been there as the lowest since its inception. And as a trader or investor, I won't recommend chasing those pump and dump projects because instead of profit, you'll lose.
3663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ADA basically useless on this forum for payments? on: February 14, 2022, 06:56:25 AM
I’m new to making payments via crypto.  I’ve had a Robinhood account & dabbled in crypto for over a year. But I just recently set up a coinbase acct & funded it with majority ADA as I was told it has low gas fees for payments.  It seems most folks only accept bitcoin on these forums.  How many of you accept ADA or other altcoins for payment?
If you're going to deal with someone and you're going to buy or offer anything, it depends. Majority deals with bitcoin in here but that doesn't mean ADA is ignored. You can deal with someone in the Marketplace (Altcoins) and get paid or pay with ADA and that's based on the agreement between you and the person whom you're dealing with. It's not useless and I'm sure that many would like to accept it as a payment or pay it for a transaction that you're doing.
3664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 13, 2022, 11:05:42 PM
Most of the trend today is relayed on the world of NFT so there's an instance or chance might be they will adopt this kind of a trend right now afaik there's a thread too related to the Gambling and metaverse and also the virtual reality due to pandemic many people now are would like to entertain with this trends its the new meta of the gambling industry well looking forward on it lets see.
The NFT is likely going to drop on its significance for this as it's probably at its peak last year. It will still be there and the discussions about Metaverse and gambling, it's more on the virtual reality.
Like you're in the actual virtual casino while you're not really into it but you're accessing it through VR. On the other hand, when people talk about NFT and gambling, there's also like the stuff and goods that are exclusively for that casino on it and they might produce an NFT of it.
3665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake Wagered $1.3 million in super bowl bet using bitcoin on: February 13, 2022, 09:55:04 PM
But, what matters is how more celebrities with big fan Bases promote bitcoin. It's such a better way of increasing the usage of bitcoin in Betting Firms.
Yup, it's not just all about the win that he had shared and as well as the exposure for bitcoin betting but it's the actual exposure for the cryptocurrencies, for bitcoin mainly. If these celebrities would always share something related to cryptocurrencies and most likely about bitcoin. More people are going to encourage and believe that there's nothing with bitcoin and it's just the same with fiat that we've been using in our day to day living which is a positive occurrence.
3666  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage in crypto on: February 13, 2022, 08:56:14 PM
There are some risks in this type of trading, the more you push your luck the more human errors gonna happen. And I didn't even mention, withdrawal fees, trading commissions, possible delays, etc. The short-term profitability is possible but in the long run, it will turn to wasted time, better to do scalping on medium crypto pairs instead of staring at the screen chasing price difference between two exchanges, in my opinion.
I think the biggest problem would be the delays. What if you've been arbitrating the whole time and the exchange got you delayed by having maintenance for that wallet.
That happens for real sometimes within an exchange that unexpectedly comes for some reason. Also, about the withdrawal fees, it might not be an issue since if you're aiming for higher profits but if it's on erc20, there could be some issues within it that you may feel that you should haven't done it because you're not expecting it to be like that.
3667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: February 12, 2022, 12:25:10 PM

Someone who's really fond of Chess professional scene is the ideal one to make that general thread for everyone to keep the discussion going. Whether it's the World Championship, there will be a continuous discussion about it. I've started to play Chess again online and that's why that general thread would be helpful for me to dive in to see those grandmasters and professionals that have been in the competition. I have a source to look out time after time but I think it's still good to have a conversation from those who know more.

Not only for Chess for every sports there must a general thread where every event about that sports is discussed. For instance, there is general thread about cricket T20 format. Now everything related to T20 whether its World Cup or some  other tournament it's discussed there.
This Chess match between Carlsen and Nepomniachtchi was played back 2 months ago.
Yes, it's given that for the other sports, there's a thread but there's no general thread for Chess and it's just this WC that's made last year. I think the interest for Chess is increasing on the forum and whoever is going to maintain the discussion for it

Still we have an active thread about that match.
And that's what everyone is talking about. Having a general thread for Chess related discussion but I think there are only a few bookies that includes it in the book.
3668  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy for crypto trading on: February 12, 2022, 09:55:05 AM
I believe lot's of people having thesame problem which you are having and some might have even spent lot's of money on trading signals which at the end they always end up turning into scam.
Well, those who have been dealing with signals have learned their lesson that majority of them are useless forecasts and they're being used as a milking cow.

To be serious with you I think everybody is having different trading pattern which I don't believe my strategy might work for you, am really making money with my strategy but if you try it you might endup losing money but why don't you try investing in a coin for long term maybe that will help you
It's always that case. A strategy could be working and making you money, couldn't work for the others and me. That's a real deal in trading that everyone should find their working strategy. It isn't easy at the beginning but eventually you'll learn it.
3669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CHESS] World Championship 2021: Carlsen Vs. Nepomniachtchi on: February 12, 2022, 07:39:41 AM
A general thread regarding all things chess would be fine, we have one of those with the NFL and the few members that care about it keep it alive and the discussion there is quite nice, from time to time someone else creates a thread, like right now that there are a few due to the Super Bowl being so close, but they fail to gain any traction, so I think that would be the best choice due to the size of the bitcointalk community that care about it being so low.

3670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Testament on: February 12, 2022, 06:08:49 AM
Acting like as an escrow? I think a holder will trust more and directly tell his private keys to his closest relative or family. There's no need for that as it will just consume a fee.
Well, we have different thoughts and opinions regarding the service but if it works for their clients then good for them. But I think that the majority would just have out their seeds to their first-degree family.
3671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you make money from meme coins? on: February 12, 2022, 03:53:36 AM
Don't just hold but rather, circulate those coins thru the usual "buy low sell high" action.
It's better to do that. But sometimes it's not making the coins grow due to some unforeseen scenarios. The holder himself isn't confident that he can expand that amount and because of the doubt, he's not making gains and instead of buying low and selling high, it's the opposite that happens.

Might be hard for others but as they build experience, they will be used on doing it.
Good for doing and building experience when you're open in doing it. There's the hardship but a lot of lessons will be learned.
3672  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1win on Bitcointalk! on: February 11, 2022, 11:24:25 PM
Is it really possible just to buy membership here to get the opportunity to make posts with images ?
Yes. You can buy the Copper membership: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images if your concern as of the moment is that you can't post images because you're still a newbie. By purchasing that, you'll be now allowed to do so.

Oh my God. I am sorry. I  wanted to say that many casino and betting (gambling related) companies which are listed here on Bitcointalk make a thread and they start up with picture (we call landing page like a face page for a website, sorry if I wrote it wrong). And at the moment I am newbie and I could not add any pictures to be more presentable. Thank you for your reply and understanding
I'm guessing that your casino is named after your username. You can make the first post of yours on this thread be informative on what you are including as much details that everyone can know. Well, welcome to bitcointalk.
Is your website 1win-bet.com?

Anyone watched the DPC WEU regional finals today? Gaimin Gladiators (ex Team Tickles) beat Tundra 2-0 ... Looks like Team Tickles were not overperforming during the regular DPC league, they're legit a really good team 👀 (personally i thought it was a lucky run that they finished 2nd behind team Liquid)
I've thought that Tundra will be sweeping them but it seems that Gladiators is right on signing Team Tickles on their organization. The lower bracket is interesting for tomorrow. OG vs. Tundra and just as the usual, this game is unpredictable.
OG lost to Team Liquid easily for the two games and now, it's going to be Team Liquid and Gladiators as well. The sea region is on the same phase and interesting match ups will happen within the next few hours.
3674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: February 11, 2022, 09:34:09 PM
Seems like Logan is focusing on other fighter now and this time its a singer and comedian. LOL!
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/logan-paul-boxing-fight-whindersson-26099960
He really is going to do anything he can just to keep up with bucks fight. Yeah, these fights are all for the bucks and none other than that.
Anyone who do tend to make a fight with Paul brothers would really be just mainly be minding about they are making business on here.  Cheesy

I highly doubt that he would really be able to convince the next one to fight against him but if they are greedy enough then it would surely push through
but he should ensure that his enemy would really be something that popular but i have doubts that they would just simply reject it out just like
on what Tyson did or having the same reason.
Yes, this is their new business model and that's to challenge anyone and make a hype from that challenge and fight. Well, as they say, if it's effective, just keep on doing it.
And in his case, it's truly effective that he's going to offer the paycheck depending on the popularity of his opponent. We can think and speculate that the more popular the opponent is, the bigger paycheck and share he's going to give.
3675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New and emerging Cryptocurrencies? on: February 11, 2022, 08:38:05 PM
Check the new added cryptocurrencies: https://coinmarketcap.com/new/
But that doesn't mean that all of them are new and emerging. It is that they've just been added to the list of coinmarketcap. That basis isn't enough to be called it as an emerging crypto. But maybe, one or a few of them are really going to emerge in the future.

Tyson was never interested on having an exhibition match against Logan so it was never been a real stuff since
from the beginning.
True and this is giving the idea and verification that everyone should forget about Logan and Mike Tyson inside the ring. And that is because it will never happen and that settles even with any amount of deal and share, Mike is not really interested.
3677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: That is why play to earn concept is a massive failure on: February 10, 2022, 10:03:41 PM
Failure of a P2E project is going to be related on how the developers are coping with the need to continue developing what they've started. It's always the balance that everyone is looking for not just with the game but as well as the token economy of that project.
There's a hard truth with this topic but not all of them are the same scheme.

High entry fees in the game and high challenge for new users is demotivating new users to join the system.
About this, if the project is fresh and it's on the hype. It's really discouraging to buy them because they're too expensive but wait until the hype neutralizes and the price for sure of that any character or requirement to play that P2E will become cheaper.
3678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: February 10, 2022, 04:04:33 PM
Seems that stand in news are very popular these days. BOOM esports have put Tino into inactive based on their new status and that position he left will be for Jackky as a stand in.
Source: https://twitter.com/boomesportsid/status/1491261800306069504
Whenever an important tournament is approaching, teams are getting serious with these shuffles.

This is very usual considering that most teams are trying to gauge whichever team composition fits with the current meta before a tournament starts. Also, a new patch is also coming by next month, which means that whatever practice and strategies teams come up with right now will be useless once the patch comes. As for the current switch of positions, Jackky is not a bad position 4. I've played with him for a couple of times and the rotations he makes are on point and consistent in keeping the pressure up on the mid lane.
Most good carries, they can play with anyrole and Jackky being a position 1 player, he can really adopt any other positions when it comes to pub games. I just wish him best of luck for being tried out by Boom Esports. When he's with T1, I think that was last year when they're about to be qualified, the management kicked him. That's really a sad part for him when he's one of the players that have taken the team go through with those rough tournaments.
3679  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting Used to The Market Situation is The Key to Becoming a Reliable Trader. on: February 10, 2022, 02:21:05 PM
Well, definitely it is. When you're used to the market, you're aware of how it goes and it's like an easy thing to you anymore. That's what happens when we're used to things. Being reliable depends on how good you are, how experienced you are.
And with what you've experienced, everything is going to dependent to you and when you end up with good results, that only means that there's something that you get to understand as you trade.

Experience comes from practice... more we practice more we get used to the changes in the market and how to act accordingly! One thing we must learn is to keep the head cool and have strong hands! It's learning how to feel comfortable even when rocks fall around you, you are trying to get the best from dip by buying when others are selling in panic, and to selling when others think it will grow more!
In the end, becoming a reliable trader depends on many factors, I think anyone should be free to try it to see what will happen!
I agree about having cool head and being a strong hands. There's another call for having a strong hands these and that's having a diamond hands.
As for the experience of a trader of getting used to the market. The one that's likely to succeed is the one that have more failure than wins. Having more losses makes that trader learn on where he's wrong and what he must do to avoid it on his further trades. That's why when you ask successful people, they have a lot to tell about their failures that they've used as a ladder to their success.
3680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 10, 2022, 10:22:17 AM
Sorry --- the employees will retain their fiat pay checks.

The intent is to give them BTC for future savings and growth.  Since there likely isn't much of a return for employees in the future with traditional pensions, perhaps they will have better luck with the growth of BTC they personally hold for the long term.
You really care for them. Honestly, I think this is already out of company's concern but you're making a difference and really giving them some idea on what they should wisely with their money. You can start by making a survey first and how much percentage of your employees are interested in bitcoin and willing to accept btc through their salary like 50% fiat / 50% in bitcoin. That's going to give you an idea on how many of them are willing to do that.
