Well, I would usually agree but something feels wrong here. I saw more buys than sales which is usually the other way around during a regular P&D cycle. So either it's not the end of it yet or it is not just a regular P&D. Or, of course, may be they simply fooled me and that's the only difference. It is no P&D. Nevertheless, like i said my experience says "Its going back to 500-600." But DRK is to precious to trade. |

Spätestens nachdem Ringsignatures addiert werden dürfte man tatsächlich von 100% anonym reden können. Aber wie gesagt. Bitcoin long zu sein ist ja auch kein Fehler. |

Aurora began mit einer Marktkapitalisierung von über 200 Mio$. Wohin sollte der Coin denn steigen?
Hinzukommt das AUR keinerlei Innovation geboten hat. DRK ist voll davon. Alleine wie der Dev quasi im Vorbeigehen das Masternodeproblem von BTC gelöst hat ist schon herrlich. Hinzukommt das DRK es mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit schaffen wird eine tatsächlich anonyme Cryptocurrency zu werden welche OHNE Zentralisierung auskommt. Darkwallet zB ist ein zentralisierter Ansatz und somit nicht 100% trustworthy.

its more or less an reaction to previous losses with the shitcoin called asiacoin. isnt that pathetic? someone who invested in asiacoin comes to this place and tries to piss off the devs? LOL! i mean of course criticism is always appreciated and darkcoin isnt the only project out there that tries to do a complete 100% anonym coin, but thats just SO pathetic cause its SO obv. somebody who lost alot with some random shitcoin obv doesnt like to see other coins being successful. |

I wouldnt call ac2 a troll, he made some points and we should look into it without calling him a troll. We should appreciate discussion more in that area. Even if he is not right (I cant prove his statements) he should not be treated like an idiot.
It is not the information he is presenting, it's how he is presenting it. I don't think he's an idiot, in fact, he is likely quite intelligent. The issue is he is emotionally and socially retarded which is what people were reacting to. I don't say that in a mean way, just an observation. This is one of the problem areas of cutting edge technology. Some of the most brilliant innovators don't have the social and/or emotional capabilities necessary to advance their technology in the real world. I have to agree, his earlier posts suggest this aswell. Yet he hasn't presented much facts backing up his claims either. The dev from Monero was on poloniex flaming DRK and boasting his own coin.. I lost my interest there.. Shouldn't he be coding instead of consorting to cheap tactics? That is not really what I look for when it comes to being behind a coin. Dont flame criticism. As you may be aware of the crtitics from Annonymint have been very well funded and have been integrated into DRK after this. He was a big help to this project. |

But it's technically still inefficiency which is never good, only neutral at best.
All PoW-Mining is "technically inefficient" as there is no "real" work done or calculations made. Its just pure air that is being processed. And thats likewise for Bitcoin, Litecoin or whatever PoW-Coin you take. So the term "technically inefficient" is misleading in terms of cryptocurrencies. |
