Anybody mining  Thor's Riddle algo for Veltor ? Are we able to mine it?  thx

I see it's sib algo.

it's not really sib, i tried with sib and it was not working, there was a version of epsylon that was able to mine it, maybe you can with 1.8.3
3662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of GTX 1060, what is your hashrate? on: October 04, 2016, 02:41:03 PM
well that is a lot... a 1070 could do easily 214 with 65 watt

yeah i was expecting less to be honest surely under 100, on the other hand a 1060 costs almost half of a 1070, not the 6gb though

well he was not clear, 0/3 to me mean that no legendary were enrolled, and you still need 3

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 6GB WindForce:
  • lbry @ 201 MH/s with 85% power limit / +230 Mhz core / -502 Mhz memory
  • neoscrypt @ 810 kH/s with 105% power limit / +185 Mhz core / +795 Mhz memory (can go even more since it's Samsung memory)
  • dagger hashimoto @ 23 MH/s but I can't remember the settings 100% accurately

200MH is good for a card that cost half of the 1070, but what about consumption?

ah your is the 6gb version, not exactly half of the 1070, would be nice to have the 3gb version hash power
3666  Local / Mining (Italiano) / Re: antminer s9 da dove compare? on: October 04, 2016, 09:29:16 AM

beh 21 cent č buono, io sto sui 25-26

nel 2018 questa cosa delle corrente cara in italia sarā un ricordo, la corrente verrā prezzata a 0.16 cent per chi consuma molto

ah no aspetta 0.21 per quale consumo? se č per 2700kwh/anno allora č pessimo

tnx for the opinion, and the bump

pictures are also welcome for others to see how it looks assembled, i can't do it because ironically i don't have this frame, mine is different because it was my first design

you are stupid sir, you can't even do math, currently at 30MH one 1070 make you $5 at the time i posted(in this exact moment 4.2). i know you are just using retarded calculator on the web, because you don't know how to calculate the profit per day without them

and there is nothing retarded in my logic and math, you are just dumb as fuck, and only want to rise a flame war, so no you are wrong again, the profit is much higher than what you said

you next post will be straightly ignored, because i know i would waste only my time, with your no-sense, also stop quoting me i don't give a flying fuck about your opinion
3669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: October 03, 2016, 07:54:02 PM
See below for formula used within the code.  X is the # of days.

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=plot+floor((floor(sqrt(x*144+%2B+1)+-+1)%2F2)*-1+%2B+500,+x+%3D+0+to+7300

in 100 days, it will be at 440.

damn too slow, the interest may shift on something else and lbry might be forgotten

should have been faster until 250, and then slow like that until 50 or so
3670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What (Ethash) MHash/sec is it better to switch to solo mining? on: October 03, 2016, 05:43:43 AM
i was also on the 12-24 hours at first then i changed my mind, and if i can't find a block every 3 hours, on average, i give up on solo

but some times it depend on the block times and the block reward
3671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: October 02, 2016, 05:50:26 AM
Selling by miners not a dev.if Someone have 1 btc daily just from minning lbry of course selling.
so miners getting per minute 5000-10000 LBRY?

miner get almost 300k lbry each day, and anyway if you know how crypto work, it's never because of miners that the price fall, it's because of low demand

premine are there(didn't check) but they are not dumped
3672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How to Build 186.6 MH/S 970 Watt power Ethereum , Monero , ETC , EXP , LBRY Rig on: October 01, 2016, 05:30:49 PM
you can do 180MH/600w, but it will cost you more, with a rig of 1070

sure with modified bios ? or stock configuration ?

right settings on msi, no bios modification is needed

something like 55% tdp, +100 on core and +500-600 at least on the mem

pallas is rightly mining it before everyone else, to overcome the lack of donation, everyone would do it if it was in his position

this si currently the most profitable

one 1070 at 30MH can do around 800k satoshi, so almost $5 per day, releasing the last version would kill this profit

Pretty true (except the hashrate which is 35 Mh/s now), thanks.

wow 35, that is even better, so the true potential for pascal is still hiding somewhere in the future code

and this is around 0.01 per 1070 every day, very high profit

Well the 980ti can do more than 30 and the 970 22.

ah i thought it was still at 20+ the 980ti, well it make sense

3678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the average life of a mining rig? on: September 29, 2016, 05:46:14 AM
All the parts have life time in hours.

The fans have life time differing 15.000 hours to 36.000 hours.

The risers must be must be replaced, the life time is 500 days at average.

Motherboards lasts nearly 2 years.

The GPUs also have 2 years time if overclocked.

No problem with CPUs and/or rams so far.

noctua industrial is declared at over 150k hours of mtbf
3679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is the average life of a mining rig? on: September 28, 2016, 06:38:56 PM
Fans.. 2 years of 24/7 at 70% and bye bye!!

First they rattle, then they stop.

i like to set them at 50% at most, it's better to create a proper cooling system than just pushing fans at 100% like many do

it's not sitting on 0% either, my cpu is at 30-50% all the time, so there is definitely consumption coming from the cpu
