3681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: August 29, 2017, 01:28:09 PM
Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?

I decides to sell with main reason when the price reach sell area ( taking profit ), second thing is when the price also reach stop loss ( minimize loss ). Those reason make me decide to sell and face the risk. I don't have another reason to sell, even the price too long on the same price or try to buy another coins ( derivative ). Only try to disciplines with our strategy and never get into panic sell. Be patience and have a nice day,
3682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alot of ICOs around, which one is scam free? on: August 26, 2017, 05:40:46 PM
Am actually new to cryptocurrency and I heard there are lot of scammers in crypto, I will like to hear from you guys, which of the ongoing ICO is legit and promising.

Learn first before decides to buy crypto coin, you must know the risk before doing something. You can learn from friends, web or group to develop your knowledge. Actually, we never know where is legit or scam coin. Most trader/ investor only see from concept ( whitepaper ), dev team and also exchanger to sell the coin. Believe or not, sometimes real market has their own answer. I only suggest learning by doing, let's jump into real market to try your strategy. Experience will give lesson how to decides the best coin to buy. Have a nice day.
3683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New at this , where should i invest my money ? on: August 26, 2017, 04:43:28 PM
Hey, i'm new at this crypto issue,i used to invest in the stock market and now i want to invest around 10k-15k in few coins (bitcoin, dashcoin, ripple)
how do i start ?
there are any recommended companies?
Thanks!!

Before investing your money, read books and join some group with crypto as their topic for your knowledge. Never do something without know anything and how big the risk. For new player, invest in bitcoin is the best thing you have before investing in another coin. Bitcoin is mother coin and everything about it will giving impact to another coin. Take one investment strategy and buy bitcoin on trusted exchanger for safety. Hope you'll get profit on the real market and good luck.
3684  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which strategy is the safest investment? lending or holding btc. on: August 23, 2017, 11:05:37 AM
Hello

I have 100 btc on exchanges. But i am very stressful for daily trading because their flow of price.

So i am looking for doing with the safest investment strategy.

How do you think about the usd lending on bitfinex?
BTC lendinh on bitfinex or poloniex?

Which one is more safer? and Can you recommend me for lending bot?

You have that much? that's wow, I think but let me straight something about investment. This way is not the same as trading because you need more time to sell it again. Besides that, investment is similar with saving, you can't get profit every day. Choose the right coin, replace money and wait. But trading will give you more way to get profit but there's risk you must face it. I don't suggest you try lending, just invest only. Have a nice day.
3685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero or LTC on: August 23, 2017, 10:32:13 AM
If you had the choice to buy only one of the two today which 1 would it be?

Monero or LTC? don't really need brains to decide on this Wink

Monero only and don't buy ltc. I can suggest buying monero because I like monero as a coin that I can use to make profit, until know. All you have to do is simple, please using long time period to see where the price moving. Don't forget stop loss and money management to minimalize loss and stress. Depends my experience, monero will survive on real market but ltc need hard work and many good news to start speculation. But remember, there's risk we must face it. Good luck and have a nice day.
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: favorite altcoin on: August 23, 2017, 09:25:19 AM
what is your favorite altcoin and why?  my favorite altcoin is easymine

My favorite altcoin eth and adx only. Eth has always make me surprises with their moving price action, besides that stable volume make sure that I'm on the right track. For new altcoin, ADX has future ( my opinion only ). Their concept, road map, and price action make me believe this coin will survive. I hope eth & edx will become the second coin after btc, maybe it's just dream but I like it. Have a nice day.
3687  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: August 23, 2017, 08:20:52 AM
I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?

You should hold bitcoin, but patience and emotion control needed. I didn't recommend to trading altcoin but if you want, please hold it like btc ( long time period ). For me, trading is more difficult than investment and most people loss with that option. Besides that, btc price action history and volume always raise up than another coin. Prepare your stop loss before trade/ investment to minimalize your loss. There's risk you must face it with your trading decision. Be patience and have a nice day.
3688  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price pump, altcoins dump? on: August 23, 2017, 07:25:49 AM
Why do altcoins price dumping. When bitcoin price pump. Is there any explanation about this?

Dump and pump, no one can understand about that. Investor or trader only can give you the usual reason, those coins always connected even sometimes their price moving to the same direction. Basically, only that reason we have and until now, become our consideration to make decision about our trading/ investment. Keep trying to understand market will always we can do but manage our money and control mindset is important. When dump just buy it and when pump let's sell it. When and how much we can trade/ invest only your experience will answer that question. Have a nice day.

3689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin (BTC) be killed by BCC soon? on: August 23, 2017, 06:29:06 AM
Something is happening right now that can kill Bitcoin BTC.

BCC announced that they have lowered the difficulty of their algorithm.
The consequence is that now it is more profitable for miners to mine BCC than BTC.
20% of the Miners moved to Bitcoin cash!

If it continues like this, Bitcoin may become unusable. Transactions will become impossible or very long.

Bloody times are coming. I have moved all my assets in fiat, waiting to see what is going to happen. If Bitcoin Cash wins, it will be a tsunami comparable to the bubble of the techno in 2000.

What do you think?

 Huh

I do not agree with you, those coins will not kill each other. My reason is simple, coin will dump/ killed just because their supply and demand not worth again in the real market. Most people will leave any coin that not have value and no gain profit. Every coin has a chance to become number one but also dump as trash. How they survive on real market is just because they still have value to giving profit or as an alternative payment. BCC can't kill BTC because every coin has the same source, only BTC. Even BTC sometimes has low price but most people still have trust with that coin. Never lost faith with BTC and have a nice day.
3690  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Bittrex really this slow? on: August 23, 2017, 05:20:29 AM
Hey, everyone, I'm new to crypto trading and have been mainly using Bittrex. It seems fine so far, but it's so unbelievably slow to send bitcoin or other altcoins to and from my exodus wallet to the exchange.

In fact, was trying to trade this morning and sent bitcoin about 2 hours ago and it isn't even showing as a pending transaction yet in Bittrex.

It just seems extremely annoying that when I want to trade quickly it takes this long. Am I doing something wrong, or is Bittrex and all the transactions really that slow? Not sure if this is my impatience, or this is just par for the course?

What do you guys trade on?

This is the second years I trade using Bttrex and so good, even sometimes slowly, my transaction is success. First, as a member, you need to check again your track ( ID transaction ). Second, open your email and see if there's notice from Bittrex. Third, contact their support to find out what happened with your transaction. After you do what should do please stay calm, don't panic because Bittrex is responsibility exchanger. Have a nice day.
3691  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which sources do you use in order to make a trading decision? and why? on: August 20, 2017, 07:39:11 AM
Hi there
I wonder which sources do you use in order to make a trading decision? and why?

if it's a slack/telegram group it will be great if you will share the name/link to it.

I only use my experience and technical knowledge as my source. When I win will be great but when loss I can't blame anyone, that's my rules. This is the second years I got out from any trading group and only build communication with a few people that I trust. We share something without push someone to become their follower. I suggest you try to filter from all your friends and make a good communication with them. It worth and will make result for your trading. Have a nice day.
3692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if the coin is Promising? Give one example. on: August 20, 2017, 06:43:04 AM
How to know if the coin is Promising? Give one example.
We need to know if the coin we are considering is a good coin or not to avoid disappointments in the future.
Research and study about new coins is important so we will know if we have to invest to it or not.

Most people will see the dev team, how good they handle project and support member needed. Second thing, look carefully their roadmap. In here we can see their goal and their project concept. The last one always looks their updated information. If there's something missing from there, it will no good for investment. Everyone has their own opinion and hope they will find the best project to invest. Have a nice day.
3693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the max amount of money that you guys earned from ICO? on: August 20, 2017, 02:46:22 AM
I am very curious about whether people managed to earn 1 million dollars by investing in a single Icon and selling it when its price skyrocket on exchanges.

I never reach that, because I make the wrong decision with my investment. But I believe many people have done that, but of course, they have knowledge, patience and big fund. Most people replace their money because they see price action and volume history, but other people see from technical metod. They analyze with their experience and faith the coin will comes up as the winner. But like or not, real market has their own answer. We only follow and get out before too late. Have a nice day.
3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash take over Ethereum? on: August 18, 2017, 08:33:55 AM
I think it's possible in long term.

Everything is possible, there's opportunity about it. If we see their price action and volume, it's very good for a new coin. But we must know, eth also has a chance to become the next bitcoin. Today, the market says eth is a bad investment/ trade and I agree with that. But bitcoin cash even has high price there's need hard work to take over eth for a long time period. Your money your call decides wisely. Have a nice day.
3695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think LTC go up soon? on: August 16, 2017, 03:37:36 PM
What do you think about LTC? Its price go up soon?
Is this time to buy LTC?

I believe not, but of course only my opinion. For me, ltc has low supply and demand, also nothing news speculation comes up. We all know without supply, demand, and news, coins will crash ( scam ). LTC price action and volume has lower than before, make trader/ investor lost their faith and replace their money with another coin. Need more time and news for ltc and maybe until the end 2017, the price is just like today. Good luck with your ltc and have a nice day.
3696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worries: can anyone advise? on: August 16, 2017, 02:57:08 PM
I am interested in buying around $100k of Bitcoin.

Is the best way to buy in small quantities on an exchange?

I read that some banks won't let you transfer money to a BTC exchange, and worse, may close your account.

I worry that the exchange may fail and I would lose all my Bitcoin

I worry that Bitcoins anonymity is not going to work, after all, my bank will know that I transferred funds to a particular BTC exchange, or to a block chain account.

I worry that if I manage to get money into Bitcoin, I may have trouble getting it back due to financial regulations.

I worry that I will lose my Bitcoin wallet due to an Internet problem.

I worry that my Bitcoin will be lost if I die.

By the way I have no worries about price changes.  I can take the financial loss if there is one.

Please tell me if there are solutions to these problems.

Don't invest/ trade too much, when something going wrong it will kill you slowly. Try to buy bitcoin from local exchanges or trusted friends, it's easy to do. Too much worry make me suggested don't trading/ investment with btc. How can people do something when always worry? everything has risk and you must face it. First, understand the risk before doing something. Second, try to get knowledge. Third, test your strategy and fix your mistakes on real market. Do that and I believe your worries in not worth. Have a nice day.
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats up with LTC? on: August 16, 2017, 11:55:46 AM
Why didnt LTC follow the btc rally up?
What do you think will it take LTC to rise?

Bitcoin mother of coins, all coin will follow it but of course, also depend on their supply and demand. Coins have the same pattern, up and down depending on their trend and also trader/ investor transactions. Actually, we never know when and how exactly coin will up or down. As an investor or trader, we only predict and prepare to deal with the risk. For me, ltc has low supply, demand, and also news speculation. That's why ltc not good as an investment/ trading ( my opinion ). Hope you'll find another answer and have a nice day.
3698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When sell ETH for BTC? on: August 16, 2017, 11:16:19 AM
Hi all,

1 month before segwit I sold my BTC for ethereums and was sure that it will grows as fast as btc. It was not smart decision I know.

But now I see that it is ±300$ all the time when bitcoin is close to 4300$... I regret that didn't sold my eth for btc once segwit happened...

But I hope that 4300$ is not maximum of bitcoin price in this year so I am planning to sell my ethereums. But I don't know when to do that. I feel bitcoin correction in near time so maybe it is better to wait a bit? But I am not sure about eth price in near time.

What to do?  Embarrassed

Thanks a lot community!

I suggest you to sell your eth and buy bitcoin to minimalize your loss. For me eth still falling down, again and again, so the best action you need to do only convert become bitcoin. Maybe you will say " no ", but if you see price action with long time period you'll know what I'm talking about. Every decision has risk, but trader must deal with it. Have a nice day.
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell? on: August 16, 2017, 06:58:02 AM
Hi, all. I have 20 Litecoin and some Ethereum … around 5.7 Ethereum. Bitcoin price seems to be rising, and fast. My question is should I sell my Ethereum and Litecoin now and buy Bitcoin? I checked the price of Bitcoin today. It went down quite a bit. Do you think there is going to be a healthy correction before the price rises again? I feel like I should wait for a couple more days and view the trend. The problem with that is Litecoin seems to be gradually falling. The same is happening with Ethereum. What do you all think?

I suggest you sell all coins and buy bitcoin, because eth and litecoin price are not good. If we see eth and litecoin price action history with long time period is too difficult to rise again, need more time and news speculation. That's why bitcoin become the best alternative to make profit. Your money your call and have a nice day.
3700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 16, 2017, 06:19:38 AM
I really love and hate altcoins because I've been through so much after all the years now
I've made a lot of profit and lost a lot too
But I really like this
It's kinda raw somehow

That's the risk we must deal, made a lot of profit or bankrupt. I believe you're a happy person and know how to face the risk. Accept the result need hard work and time and many people can't do that. Don't love or hate something too much, it will kill you slowly. Never lost faith with altcoin and your skill. Good luck and have a nice day.
