Meanwhile, there's a rumor that Banchero might leave the Phoenix super LPG, where do you think he will sign?

COLUMN: Chris Banchero leaving Phoenix a 'big possibility,' says insider

Banchero maybe not be happy with his role with his current team. Looking for a new team might help him show his full potential, we know that he is good and his best season was when he was still playing with the Alaska Aces. Not sure if it's possible, but if there's a case he will be back, maybe he will be a big help to the team as they need a good point guard.
That rumors might be true, since we saw his performance with Phoenix and I can really say that he is not that good with that team, I think he can't go back to Aces anymore since he was there already but still depend to Alaska if they still see potential with Banchero. His next team will be hard to find for sure especially on a season like this, other teams cut some of its budget and they might not afford to pay Banchero, hoping for him to find a better team so he can work on his true potential.
If he wants his full potential to be shown and he wants more minutes to do that, put him in the team where they are always at last position. Blackwater might be the best choice for him.

His performance when he is in the Aces is his best in his career. Seeing the roster of Phoenix right now and I don't think that they have any guard that matches Banchero so if he will leaves, its effects will be felt immediately unless they will get a more reliable point guard. Just put him back on the Aces maybe or put him in Blackwater if he doesn't want to be there anymore Cheesy.
3682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 21, 2022, 11:55:58 AM
Pacers are really good lately and they got two important back-to-back wins. They even defeated Warriors away which is a big achievement for them. But I don't think that they will maintain a long-lasting winning streak. They are having a terrible season in general and it could continue like that. But they still have a chance for the playoff of course. If they somehow manage to qualify for it, even it would be an achievement for them I think.
It's not too late for them to come back and be in the playoff spot again. Pacers are a good defensive team, they are a good team in general but sometimes they struggle, I think they are better than what the Lakers are experiencing right now, they are improving while the Lakers aren't.

Agree about there issue is much lighter to Lakers. But compared to Lakers, There roster will not gonna last much longer if they manage to enter the payoffs compared to Lakers that has a firepower to become a champion by there current roster, there only problem is just they are over extending and adjusting too much since most of there roster is a previous star and has pride. Maybe loading off some extra baggage will gonna help them to bring back to life.

So sad to see that LeBron strategy to gather strong player is already back firing on his face.

Lebron will likely fail this season, there's no chance that the Lakers will be a championship team as they are still haven't figured out the right chemistry so everyone could contribute effectively. They are just hype because they form a super team, popular names are in their team but they are not in synch every time they play, well, maybe there are some games they are impressive but in most games they disappointed the fans.
We are at the halfway through the season already and they are having a hard time getting their wins. Its like they will win one and then lose one.

Right now they are below 500 again with 22-23. TBH, I don't know why the GM of Lakers built this kind of roster. A roster full of old players and most of them are past their prime already like Howard, Melo, Ariza and most of them are already average players that can't be reliable on. Ohhh wait also add Anthony Davis who is injury prone and isn't playing for how many games already. They are paying him that much and in the end he will get injured. He is a great defender and his absence really affects the team as a whole. Like you, I don't also think that they will be at the top this playoffs or worse I don't even think that they will enter the playoffs with how they are playing and if they will enter the playoffs this season most likely they will get eliminated at the first round like what happened last season to them.
3683  Economy / Speculation / Re: [POLL] Will Bitcoin dip below $40K? on: January 21, 2022, 11:34:39 AM
Previously many people expecting that 40k will be the strong support of bitcoin but unfortunately on this situation it's already broken and seems has a possibility to gradually decreasing more based on its circumstance. Perhaps many people will make adjustments again when it comes predicting the price because obviously the bearish still not finish to make correction. So i think yes my answer.
Oh crap. I voted late and even made a mistake. I picked NO for an answer.  Grin
I was not checking the price for days and I also am expecting for Bitcoin not to go down the $40k resistance, but it did. I guess it's time to take out my cash and be one of the many buyers that is waiting for this moment. The entry point. I don't think this price below $40k will be long. Just my prediction and my instincts.
You are quite optimistic and there is nothing wrong with it. You are thinking the same as other investors out there including me.
I thought that this will be the scenario as well but it seems that it isn't right now. Though I'm ready when this kind of thing happens, I'm leaning more on the bullish perspective and hoping for Bitcoin to go higher in the next days.

Now we are seeing another red day for the market and I'm thinking that this "might" be the start of the bear market because breaking the psychological and strong support of $40,000 is a sign of weakness and increases the chances of a bear market. Lets wait if this will end up as a false breakout and will go back above $40,000 in the next few days or will it go lower. Just be ready when the bear market starts. Brace for impact Smiley
3684  Economy / Speculation / Re: ₿ not going below 40.000 (probably) on: January 21, 2022, 10:04:12 AM
Why do you think Bitcoin will probably not going lower than 40.000?
$40,000 really is the strong support right now and just a few hours ago, we've seen the market turned red again and Bitcoin?? Yes it went below $40,000 and now currently sitting at around $39,000.
With this move, there is a high chance that we might see a bear market but lets wait for further confirmation because there is a chance that this might be a false breakout like what happened last time when Bitcoin went below $40,000.

Well, it seems like you're opinions are now voided because it happened. Bitcoin went down to $40,000 already and I think many are expecting it to happen as well though I expected that it will bounce back and go higher in the next days (optimistic mind). Lets just wait a few days before we will see what will happen to Bitcoin. If it stays below $40,000 for a few days then it is the start of the bear market.

If you will think of yourself in the current time, this is kinda funny to see because we know how much is 25 Bitcoins right now.
If you will think of yourself and travelling back 10 years ago, you will just see Bitcoin as a mere meme coin that has a low value at that time.

TBH, its funny to see that a picture of that is still in the internet after 10 years. Now after seeing that, I might join the tournament and I will hold any crypto coin for around 3-5 years as long as it already has value Cheesy. What is the lesson here? Just hold your coins whether it is a shitcoin, a meme coin or a coin like Bitcoin because most of them increases its value overtime Cheesy. Nahh don't take what I said seriously its your decision to make.
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do I feel as though I don't have enough knowledge of Crypto? on: January 19, 2022, 12:01:56 PM
Despite what I think I know, sometimes, I still feel as though I know nothing.
Rich people think like this. Businessmen think like this. Those successful people right now are thinking like what you are thinking.
How? They feel like they know nothing too that is why they are constantly learning and learning and learning and TBH, its a blessing in disguise because if you feel that you know nothing you will try everything to learn everything that will help you in your crypto journey. This is what separates average people and rich people. Rich people doesn't stop learning while average people stops learning because they feel that what they know is enough.

I would really like to know more. If there's anyone willing to help out with where to get a thorough and extensive information about cryptocurrency in general, I will very much appreciate it.
M
Google, Youtube and internet in general.
These will guide you in learning everything about crypto but still having a mentor that will guide you will be better since it will make your route towards gathering information way easier.
3687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 19, 2022, 10:21:16 AM
He's 33 years old already but he is still at his prime for at least 1-2 years.
He is athletic there is no doubt about it. The problem that I'm seeing with him is his shooting. Yes he is a triple double machine and that is the problem. He focused more on rebounding and passing more than shooting that it affects his shooting accuracy. Sometimes his low FG percentage is causing the game.

This season he might be considered as an all-star player still but not the same as he is on OKC since him and Lebron is carrying the team. In 1-2 years his value will decrease because he is past his prime already. I hope though that at least he will got a championship at his stint with the Lakers alongside Lebron.

Honestly, I doubt that Westbrook will be able to win the championship with the Lakers. His prime was in the 16/17 season, and now he is showing the worst performance in the last few years. Nevertheless, I also noticed that he started making fewer turnovers in the last couple of weeks. It could just be a lucky coincidence, or maybe he realized that his desire to make a triple-double every game is hurting the team.
I'm thinking of this as well.
I think that he will be the same as Malone, Stockton, Mutumbo, Wilkins etc. that will never will a ring.

Lets just say that Westbrook isn't the perfect fit for the Lakers since he has the same playstyle as Lebron where both of them are passing. What the Lakers need I think is more of a initiator or at least a consistent point guard. With regards to triple double, I don't think it affects the team because he is winning 70+% of his games when he is making a triple double. Either way, he is nearing to past his prime and in the next 1-2 years like I said his performance will be lower than how he is playing right now.

I heard a rumor that 76ers rejected a trade offer from Detroit Pistons.
The trade consist of Jerami Grant, Saddiq Bey, and Kelly Olynyk in exchange for Ben Simmons. I was a bit frustrated about it even if its just rumors.
I would not trade Grant that easily for a Ben Simmons type and worse he added more players with it. Grant is one of the rising stars in the league and it's not easy to find a good player like him who can shoot in and out and defend. Besides, they already a good point guard. Cade Cunningham.
All they need is time to build the chemistry.
I've seen Grant playing with the Nuggets in the bubble and at that time and he is playing well and a big contributor to the Nuggets during the playoffs.
I've seen this trade rumor too on Facebook and it seems like its a good decision that 76ers rejected the trade.

Grant is a good shooter and a good defender as well. Its just that the players around him are just average players. With the addition of Cunningham, give this team a few more years and a few more players that will fit to the team and they might be a playoff contender but right now the team is at the bottom position of the standings. Its better I think to just let Grant stay alongside Cunningham and let them get better players that will help the team.
3688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 19, 2022, 09:28:15 AM
They have to decide and embrace another bubble set up or else it will take a long time before we will same setup.

With lots of new cases, IATF will not change anything, the stand to fight against this variant should be more strict to avoid further spread.

Better to embrace the reality, no other option aside from extending the postponement, otherwise cancelling might happen, not sure though

Since PBA is a business, and businessman knows more.. Wink
It's said that they've done already a meeting and they shall conduct assessment on what's their next step. I think there will be a bubble setup soon just to continue this current conference. They have no choice but to move onto those places that aren't in alert level 3.
That's the best possible decision that they can make and the worst is to stop and cancel the whole conference. But they've done a solution during the hard lock down days and with the current alert level, they can still move but with proper adjustment and approval still from the IATF.

They will be making their last option now, which is a bubble. Well, it's not new to them as they have already did that in the past seasons, so I expect that they'll be able to do it effectively and the conference will resume soon. I'm sure imports will be okay with that as long as they can play as the teams are playing them and they also know the current situation.

Do you have any prediction what month they'll resume?
They might post their final decision at least the final week of January or in the first 2 weeks of February.

I don't think that they can wait for longer than that or they will lose more money if they'll still not make a decision. Bubble is their best decision if they need to resume the Governor's Cup. Well, its good to see that the number of cases today decreased from around 28,000+ only after seeing consecutive 30,000+ cases for a few days.
3689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 19, 2022, 01:48:21 AM
Westbrook was one the best / most athletic guards I have ever seen. At one point in time him and Derrick rose were the most athletically gifted “smaller” guards I had ever seen, but I’m not so sure he can be considered an elite player anymore. He’s getting to the latter part of his career and he’s simply showing signs of it.
He's 33 years old already but he is still at his prime for at least 1-2 years.

Even though we've seen many people teaching anything about investing, even though we have lots of information on Google regarding these scams, even though we've seen people getting fooled by these scammers, there will always be investors who will fall into these kind of traps and there is nothing we can do to them.

Well, investors will not learn if they will not experience it in real life. Investors will not realize until they themselves are in the spot. Ignorance really is very expensive that in this case it causes 26 BTC Cheesy. I don't know TBH what I'm feeling right now. Its kinda frustrating that we see an investor that has huge BTC but falling into this kind of typical shitty scam but at the same time, its a little bit funny that the investors is holding that huge amount but he is ignorant to the point that he is falling to scams like this.

Hope the investor learned from this. The word double itself is already a red flag at least for me.
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 18, 2022, 01:25:48 PM
How about that for the Lakers to win against a Jazz team that is on the top of offensive and defensive statistics.
Lakers found their new baby. His name is Stanley Johnson. Who the hell is that guy?!  Grin 2015 1st Round pick number 8. He is a former Raptors who averages just 4-5 points per game but in this game against the Jazz he shine the most at the fourth quarter of the game. The hustle to pick up the rebound against Gobert, Shocked to shoot perimeters while none is trying to defend him, and just doing the right thing. Avoiding errors could always enhance the chance to win the game and they did.
Looks like the dunk on Westbrook on Robert lit up the whole team thus, getting the victory against one of the top teams right now.
Now their 3 game losing streak ended already and they are at the 500 with 22-22.

Many are surprised with how the Lakers played but the question is, will this be the start of the new Lakers? Will they be consistent like this and can go higher than their current spot? Will they reach the expectations of their fans or at least go near to it? Stanley Johnson used to be the starter of the team but he remained silent until now or its just that nobody is seeing how good is he and all of us are focused on either Westbrook or Lebron.

Its impressive that they got the win but I hope that they will continue to play like this.

Speaking of Westbrook, look at him almost murdered Gobert.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-xEBnxxDOc

He is fearless, he can dump on anyone that's why his aggressiveness is very impressive. I think the Lakers would be trading him this season, he maybe not be consistent but he is a star player who can spark anytime.
He shouted on that video like they aren't struggling the whole NBA season Cheesy.
He got a technical because of shouting but who cares as long as you dunked over one of the best defensive players right now.
3692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Growth of Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2022, 11:03:52 AM
Such a huge volatility means big players are manipulating bitcoin.
Why whenever we see Bitcoin going down, we always say things like "Yeah this whales are manipulating again the market" blah blah blah??
Enough of this nonsense phrase because Bitcoin in 2021 isn't the same as Bitcoin in 2017 where it is heavily manipulated by these rich people. Bitcoin's market cap has increased already therefore, the chances of whales manipulating Bitcoin is very low and in order for them to do it they need a huge amount of money and a bit of coordination maybe Cheesy.

Instead of seeing the price drop of Bitcoin as manipulation, see it as a correction that has been made by many investors who chose to take profit at its peak. The price drop isn't only because of these big holders of Bitcoin who sold most or all of their holdings but many, many investors who either took profit or sold at a loss because they see Bitcoin going down already. Enough of the manipulation shit already. Its 2022 already. At least change the way you think regarding Bitcoin's price movement.
3693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think that 2022 will look like? on: January 18, 2022, 10:33:59 AM
TBH, I'm more bearish this year than bullish.
I believe that we might see the 2017-2018 scenario where Bitcoin went up to its new ATH at that time and then we saw the whole market turned red.

I'm kinda pessimistic maybe but that is only a prediction and I think if that happens, it might not be the same as 2017-2018 but we might see more red in the market than greens. Right now, Bitcoin is on a sideways movement like I expected after a huge drop for weeks. Now we don't know what will happen in the next few weeks. Its Bulls Vs. Bears this time. Its either we see Bitcoin going below $40,000 or Bitcoin going above $50,000 or there is also a chance that it might go sideways still for a few days to weeks Smiley.
3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It won't hurt on: January 18, 2022, 10:00:43 AM
A 1 million shiba inu costs just 28$ so I accept this advice whole heartedly, shiba is meme coin but anything is possible, no one ever thought that doge coin can be this big today so it's worth the adventure
I agree with what you said that anything is possible but to spend 28$ on a meme coin? Well, I've gambled with SAFEMOON months ago with 50$ and lost with that so I think I might do this..... or not.

There are many other altcoins out there that are far better than SHIB to invest my 28$ with and most of them are a good coin to hold for mid to long term. 28$ might be a small amount for some but still, I don't want to waste that amount into some meme coins anymore. I tried it once and will never do it again Cheesy.

Well, if there is somebody who wants to explore and try if investing into memecoins is still profitable then they might try putting 28$ on a memecoin like SHIB. TBH, the hype is over and what does it need for this coin to pump again? Hype from a popular influencer like what happened to DOGE.
3695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 18, 2022, 09:50:36 AM

The alert level 3 implemented will possibly continue as we recorded new 39k cases which is currently the all time high as per DOH recorded so I think there will be more restriction will be implemented by IATF if the spread  will continuously high for the days running. So I think the option they only have is to run that bubble style game so that they can continue the league which I think they are planning right now.

Probably next month they will come up with an alternative plan, so far the spread still reaching more people though it isn't as deadlier like what those

Previous variants, but still the virus, can harm everyone. If they will decide to proceed, the only option for now is to have another bubble setup just

to continue and complete this season, unless the spread will be contained, and the government declares the level to a much lighter one..

Till then, we just have to wait for the final announcement.
They have no other choice right now but to enter to a "bubble" set-up.
Its either they will enter the bubble set-up or they will postpone the season.

Right now, there is already a community transmission of Omicron Variant and with how fast this virus spreads I'm pretty sure cases of around 30,000 or more will continue in the next few weeks and we might see new all time high in cases within the next few days to weeks. Right now, they are observing on what is happening and from that they will decide. Best choice is to go bubble set-up or they can wait until the number of cases goes down and if that happens then they might just continue what they've started.
3696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A quick question!! on: January 17, 2022, 03:12:31 PM
Elon Musk influence on Dogecoins seems to have dropped, why ?
Just think of this analogy (not analogy I think Cheesy).
If you trusted a friend and after few months, he backstabbed you and he did something that can end your relationship as friends. Do you think you will still trust him? You might say yes but most will say no.

Its almost the same case. Yes Musk has a huge influence with regards to DOGE that it pumped way high and for sure many investors profited into it but many lost their money into it. Throughout the years, Musk is saying anything that could hurt investors thus, untrusting him that caused his influence to crypto to slowly decrease including his influence with DOGE. I agree with some people who said that investors are now smarter because they really are. Investors are evolving year after year and investors are learning with their mistakes though there are some who are still experiencing mistakes but its ok. Mistakes is a good teacher because we are learning from them.
3697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Always do Some Research Before You Start Staking on: January 17, 2022, 02:57:55 PM
Go to this site and you will find some top coins that are eligible for staking. This helped me pick a coin that I would want to stake with.
https://www.stakingrewards.com/cryptoassets/

Right now I'm currently staking ADA and its just good to see that you are earning dividends by staking it in their own wallet and at the same time earning from capital appreciation. Of course not all coins are like this because I'm also holding a bit of CAKE tokens and unfortunately I bought it at a high price and now even though I'm staking it thru their pool feature, I'm still at a loss with its current price but still it is an unrealized until I sell it into another coin.

Anyway, doing some research will really help you but choosing the top coins will make it easier for you but it doesn't mean still that it will be profitable. Staking is for mid to long term holding so if you want to stake then at least pick the coins that will survive in the next 3-5 years.
3698  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy Crypto Or Have Fun Staying Poor! on: January 17, 2022, 02:42:20 PM
If you're still primarily holding fiat, you're not paying attention to what we do here on a daily basis. Inflation, according to Elon Musk, is the most regressive of all the tasks. The US dollar has been the strongest currency for the past 100 years, yet it has lost 95% of its purchasing value since 1913. Fiat currency will always lose value over time, but cryptocurrency will always gain value over time; the two are moving in different directions. According to recent studies, 40% of all US dollars in circulation were printed in the last twelve months. Every day, they are printing away our wealth. Opt out and invest in cryptocurrency instead.
Yes and No.

Yes for the fact that fiat has been losing its value and it has been created to lose its value because of its unlimited supply.
No because buying crypto isn't mean that you will already be rich. Most of the investors who tried to invest into crypto ended up as losers. Why? They just invested just because they are greedy enough that they didn't learn anything about crypto including its risks.

I'm not saying that not buying crypto will make you poor because I myself bought some cryptos and TBH, I'm not into the place where I am right now if I didn't bought cryptos years ago but on the other hand it doesn't mean that if you bought crypto it will make you rich already. It also comes with different factors like risk tolerance, your knowledge about crypto and how you will earn money from it. Another one though is that not all "cryptocurrency will always gain value overtime" and in fact there are only a few coins that gained value overtime. Those other coins especially altcoins? They just went down, and down, and down. Only Bitcoin and other top coins gained value.
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto NFTs, what are your thoughts. on: January 17, 2022, 02:19:14 PM
All of them to me are amazing especially when they're being sold to anyone. The idea that there are people that are willing to buy those expensive NFT arts tells me that you expect something unexpected.

Just like this guy who sold a likely beeple of himself.

22-year-old Indonesian boy makes $1M by selling NFT selfies on OpenSea

Gosh these NFTS really making everyone rich I see. Just a 22 year old kid getting 1 M? Wow I’m just so naive into the world of crypto I would say. It is astounding to see how anyone can get into crypto these days and make their way all the way up to millions of dollars.

It’s also applauding to the bidder who actually bought the selfie’s from this. Not at all sure why he would need it but I’m sure he had his own passion behind it.

Kudos to NFT world.
Everyone?? Do you mean every single NFT buyer will be reach just by buying?
I think this is a bit exaggerating to say that NFT will make "everyone" rich. There are some NFT buyers who became rich by flipping the NFT they've bought. There are some artist who created their own NFT's that became rich because of their arts. There are some investors who invested in NFT games who became rich.

Not everyone will become rich with the help of NFT but I'm not saying that everybody doesn't have a chance to become rich with the help of NFT's. Its just that only a small percentage of investors that are involved in NFT's will become rich. TBH, I don't know the reason why there are some people who are still buying some mere pictures in the internet. I mean everybody can create their own one.

As an NFT holder, you will only earn profits from it when you will resell it at a higher price thus you will lose everything you've invested into that NFT if nobody will buy it. That is one of the risk of NFT's. Well, if somebody buys your NFT's then good for you.

This is a 22 year old Indonesia college students that make over $1 million from NFT

https://cointelegraph.com/news/22-year-old-indonesian-boy-makes-1m-by-selling-nft-selfies-on-opensea

those are some people who managed to achieve success from NFT. are you also one of the people who are interested in NFT or maybe you have plunged into it?.

Anyone can make it from NFT but there are many that are not profitable.
This just to show that anybody from around the world can create their own NFT's but to become rich just from NFT's is kinda hard TBH.

Its just wow. That is the word that I say when I saw this article. He just posted his 1000 pictures in Opensea and turned it into money. Correct me but there was a picture of him that is selling as high as an Ethereum. Well, there are some who are buying bored apes for 6 digit figures, there are some who are buying a collection of pictures for $69,000,000 so its possible that somebody can sell any pictures that they want to sell.
