The fact that you ask for payment before asking for any information about the buyer.
3683  Economy / Marketplace / Re: GiftcardBTC.com selling Amazon Giftcards - Xmas Special! on: December 17, 2013, 07:45:33 PM
Guys, just some advice.
I used a very similar site on Tor. I lost over 3 BTC there.
May not be the same site, but seems a bit fishy.
3684  Other / Off-topic / Re: Amazon drones, lol on: December 17, 2013, 07:03:03 PM
I think this would be awesome.
Yes it's unlikely, but imagine ordering something, and having it delivered an hour later!!!
I will say that the concept is probably likely to happen in the future but not with drones.

I'll be interested in bidding. However, only if bids are listed on here.
I'm not going to try bidding against a bidder that doesn't exist. If they did PM you the offer, ask them to please post it on the thread.
3688  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptsy Harassment - Any lawyers out there? on: December 17, 2013, 03:11:48 PM
I did get the emails as well.
Not that many though, somewhere around 4-5 of them for every ticket I've opened.
I also had the negative balance. The next time I added funds to my account, it auto-corrected the balance after taking the negative balance away.
I don't think I ever went into a negative balance though as I don't see how its possible seeing as the site don't let you buy anything without having  the exact amount of funds in your account at the time.
They did email me, but honestly I still can't see how its possible.
Would be interested to hear about this as well.
3689  Economy / Gambling / OFFICIAL - Football Tournament Betting Thread on: December 17, 2013, 01:29:04 PM
Hi,
This thread is basically exactly what the title says it is.
I have a PS4, and I'm going to be hosting a tournament on FIFA 14 on the PS4.

How it works: Users on here buy a place in the tournament. There will be 4-10 places per tournament as this will increase the chances of winning for every user, ensure winnings are paid out faster, and save me a lot of time.
Each user will then be allocated a team. I will ensure that in each tournament, the teams are as similar as possible. Each team will then be entered into a random number generator to see which team it will play. I will then set up a game between the teams drawn.
The team that wins will move to the next round. The losing team will be eliminated. I will then use the number generator to select which teams will play each other in the next round, until the final where one team will take the jackpot.

What I do: I will create the tournaments with the teams that have been selected. Each game will consist of 2 4 minute halves. I will make sure that the games are played by the PS4 (computer system). This means that I WILL NOT be playing for you. The computer will play against the computer, so I cannot control who wins.
I will upload pictures of the tournament as it progresses.

Safety: I have created a new wallet address for the purpose of this tournament. The address will be posted here, so you can see how much enters the jackpot, and who gets paid the winnings. To enter, you must pay the entry fee to the above address, and also post which address it has come from. The link to the blockchain will be posted under each tournament, so users can look at it as proof for all transactions.

Note: I will only run one tournament at a time. If you have missed the first, I will put you next in line in the second tournament and so on. Tournaments will only start once all places have been taken.
I will state that I will be taking a small fee for hosting the tournaments. This will be for my electricity usage and my time.

If you are interested, please reply to the thread with the team and the address that you have sent the entrance fee from. I will update the tournament page every so often.

Thanks...

Tournament 1:
This will be the first tournament. This will consist of 4 teams as it will ensure the tournament runs faster.
This tournament will be played on Legendary mode.
The entry fee will be 0.002 BTC.
Jackpot for this tournament: 0.007 BTC
Please send the 0.002 BTC to: 1LQV3dxKRt6YYswj1eU7YjzRLF9QYou5rR
Teams:

1) Barcelona
2) Bayern Leverkusen
3) Manchester City
4) Real Madrid

Well, thanks everyone for the support.
And for those that questioned me, you have every right to do so.
As I have said numerous times, the main thing stopping me is finance.
I'm in my last year of school, so working on developing the ideas whilst taking my A2s isn't ideal.
However, there is one project that I am pursuing. I will keep you updated and I'll create a new thread with a link to my Kickstarter campaign.
Until then, I'm going to have to lock this topic as I just don't see this going anywhere.

Thanks

Where about do you live? How far would you travel to work every day?
3695  Economy / Goods / Re: IPHONE 5 & 4s boxes with manuals and all the packaging. plus headphones NEW on: December 16, 2013, 10:50:34 AM

3696  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.22 btc loan request. on: December 15, 2013, 06:28:18 PM
I will lend you 0.22BTC.
However, beforehand, I'd need to know how long you need the loan for?
I'd need you to offer a collateral such as another crypto.
You'd need to pay me back 0.27BTC Smiley

Let me know if you're interested...

Thanks
3697  Economy / Lending / Re: Where to offer services for Bitcoins? on: December 15, 2013, 06:25:13 PM
I recommend you use; www.iwill4coin.com
The site is still being developed, but it will become the fiverr for BTC.
You can look at the progress of the site and seek assistance on the official forum; www.iwill4coin.com/forum
3698  Other / Off-topic / Re: Save This Child's Life - URGENT!!! NO DONATIONS. JUST A SIGNATURE on: December 15, 2013, 06:12:11 PM
Bumping up again.
Thanks to everyone who's helped so far.
I've now created a post on reddit as well, so thanks for the advice.
Only 29,000 more signatures needed. A big drop from the 55,000 needed when this thread was started.
3699  Economy / Lending / Re: Loaning my BTC on: December 14, 2013, 08:31:14 PM
I would like this loan can pay in 24 hours,  I have loaned and took loans from people on the bitcointalk community.  I can offer access to my xbox 60 account with many games purchased.  Thats my collateral

Hi,
Sounds promising.
Can you please elaborate on what your account has to offer?

Thanks

on y xbox 360 account i have fable, deadisland riptide, supreme commander, dragon ball Z tenkachi.  Call of duty ghosts, Dead rising 2.  Walking dead by taletell games.

Doesn't really seem worth much as a collateral.
The collateral should be worth more than the loan. You could easily say your account was hacked.
Do you have any LTC/PPC?
