3681  Economy / Reputation / Re: User SmokerFace - Recycling posts for sig campaign, new way of cheating ? on: February 25, 2021, 05:10:12 PM
I think there was a similar case previously I heard, so it's not new on the forum. This is one of very bad behavior for campaign participants. It's not very easy to detect for a manager, so it would be very helpful if you create a thread and forward the manager to take a look. So that participants would be kicked from the campaign.

Report them to the manager, leave them a neutral tag explaining the situation. The campaign can and should then exclude them and if they so decide could probably flag them.
Yea, I second that. It would be a nice solution for such users. I do not recommend a red tag since there are no such rules on the campaign or forum. But I think the manager would add this rule now and punish is someone caught.
3682  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What is the most secure device to store Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2021, 04:36:10 PM
Another way is to go to bitaddress.org. Go offline. Print out a paper wallet or a few if the amount is substantial and move them to safe locations. Bitcoin thieves are computer geeks and less likely to use brute force. Just don't tell anybody about where you store them.
I don't know why are you suggesting creating a paper wallet where OP has bought a hardware wallet and asking for a suggestion which would be safer to store his assets. Isn't a hardware wallet safer than a paper wallet? There is always a risk to get a phishing attack during generate a paper wallet.

@OP, you may use any reputed hardware wallet like Ledger or Trezor. I have been using Ledger for a long time and didn't face any issue yet even I had stored a big amount. Always keep in mind, if you can't keep safe your device, seed phrase, and private keys then you aren't safe, doesn't matter which wallet you have been using. Just secure all these things and use a hardware wallet to secure your funds.
3683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk twitted - Doge on the actual MOON! on: February 24, 2021, 06:07:48 PM
For a few days, I have been following his tweets. Although I am a doge holder lately, I have a different experience. Elon has been trying hard to pump doge somehow. Every time he makes a tweet it gets a little pump then reset again. I am assuming he had been making more money by this way. Of course, he is a fan of doge although we don't know the exact reason behind it. But I believe since he is playing behind of doge, then somehow he will throw in the moon or Mars. But it should hold for a long time IMO. If Elon continues such as tweets then more investors would enter into it and probably his tweet would be true as said about the moon, or he is accumulating more and more.
3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what do you think about the few days deep on: February 24, 2021, 05:20:06 PM
For the crypto, there is a dump after every pump and there is a pump after every dump. I wasn't surprised about the recent dump, because market growth was so quick. If something happens so quick then it would last for a long. From that zone, I am expecting slowly bitcoin correction would happen. So at the same time, the overall crypto market would on correction mode as well. But I am not worried about correction if the Bitcoin price stays above $40K. If bitcoin somehow plays a stable role then the overall crypto market would start to recover. I believe many bagholders are waiting for a correction. So, don't expect that price will grow continuously.
3685  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 2 Binance Accounts (1 verified & another 1 unverified). How to go back to safety on: February 24, 2021, 04:46:35 PM
If you use two accounts on the same device, browser, and IP then it's pretty easy to detect for Binance. I don't think they will just detect by IP address. There are a few other ways and most probably we are unaware about it, for example Fingerprint. To be honest, if you are using centralized exchange, then you should always be ready to provide your KYC. Because anytime for any reason they would freeze your account. For example, they would freeze the account for suspicious activities or money laundering which is a pretty common issue in a centralized exchange. If you fully want to avoid KYC then just better to go with a reputed decentralized exchange. So, you are safe at least from submitting KYC. I wouldn't suggest taking a risk by breaking T&C.
3686  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for crypto marketing services from reputable users on: February 24, 2021, 04:09:14 PM
I would very much appreciate that, thank you.
But not for free, I am looking for someone to actually handle a marketing campaign for us, my experience is very much limited, and I rather hire a professional.
To be honest, I agree with @examplens. Running social media campaign wouldn't bring much attention from real users what you are expecting. It's quite easy to buy a social media account and spam there. Since your platform isn't like ICO or IEO, so I don't think it would be useful for you. But yes, perhaps it would increase SEO or visibility over the internet.

If you are expecting quick visitors to your platform then I will suggest choosing a PTC platform. But if you are looking for potential crypto users then the signature campaign is the right advertisement. Of course, you can't expect a quick response as well, users wouldn't jump so quick on any platform. When a banner reflects for a quite long time on the forum, then users would move slowly to your platform. Now it's your choice. Don't forget that all users of the forum are somehow related to crypto.

Anyway everyone has their own advertising strategies. If you are looking for long time solutions like a marketing manager, then you have to talk privately based on salary. So it's better to choose someone from reputed managers.

Best of luck.
3687  Economy / Auctions / Re: For sell | www.betninza.com & www.ninzabet.com on: February 22, 2021, 06:06:35 PM
Reducing price by considering current Bitcoin price.

I think 0.15BTC for each domain would be reasonable. Feel free to contact me if you want to negotiate, I am open.
3688  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 22, 2021, 07:40:51 AM
The OP himself said that Steve told him his documents are unacceptable, do we need Steve to come here and declare so himself?  What would that achieve other than bringing up more questions?
It's quite surprising to me why are you pushing to just believe what Steve said. If OP agrees with Steve and there are no arguments then why will we ask to Steve come here to explain? But seems OP doesn't agree with Steve. Of course, there would be questions for both, not only for Steve.

Why the KYC documents become suspicious or fake once win or withdraw funds? I don't know the way how they verify nor I need to know. But a few questions would be raised like this. Why the system wouldn't identify fake documents during KYC verification or during generate a deposit address since they could detect it upon withdrawals or wining?

@DireWolfM14 I can understand your feelings and beliefs my friend. But it would be nice if you be realistic with the situation. Immediate decline the scam allegation due to it has created by newbies and the platform is well established isn't a good example IMO.

I think we should stop arguments with each other until we hear from the authorized person from Sportsbet.io. We can't reach any stage of conclusion without them. Seems Steve is active today and I believe he will come here and explain everything since a problem has occurred.
3689  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for crypto marketing services from reputable users on: February 22, 2021, 07:14:51 AM
Seems your platform and coin are listed on three exchanges although there is no trading volume. So do you want to advertise your platform on the forum? If so, then the most likely signature campaign would help you to spread the word about your platform. I am not sure if you want to run a promotion with BTC or your own coin. Here is a list dozen of campaign managers, Overview of Bitcointalk Signature Anti-Spam Campaign Managers. You can found me there as well. If you feel I can help you then feel free to share more detail, so I can take a deep look before start further collaboration. Or hope you will find someone from trusted managers.

Best of luck.
3690  Economy / Speculation / Re: When to sell BTC: $80K, $100K or $150K? on: February 22, 2021, 07:00:27 AM
When you need to sell it really depends on you. About the price, no one can tell you where it will reach this year. Either it would go up or it would be down as well. If you ask me when I sell then I will say when I need money. I sell for my personal needs, doesn't matter what is the price, but of course, I do not sell all Bitcoin except take a short on the trading. If you have a targeted price to sell your Bitcoin then you should convince yourself as well that price wouldn't touch since we can't forecast the price.
3691  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 21, 2021, 07:53:41 PM
That's some really good advice that I'd expect out of a Legendary member like yourself to give a newbie.

But no offense; you are doing the exact opposite of what you suggested to the OP by continuing to post in this thread and by prematurely tagging Sportsbet; a "reputable betting platform" as you describe them.
Good to see you here. Hope you read all the messages. Isn't Steve taking a quite long time to respond on the thread? I thought he will come here with a solution or explanation. But seems it didn't happen. Based on their previous behavior, of course, I have to admit they were reputable. But as you have seen the current behavior is quite disappointing to me. I didn't write they are scammer on the feedback, just simply wrote open accusation, so that they would come here to make a resolution. I don't think it's a premature tag since Steve already takes enough time and he told that he will back with the scamming allegation.  Also, Steve said he is in touch with OP, but OP said Steve stopped communicating with him. So the situation is quite controversial IMO.

Don't worry about the tag, hope it will resolve as soon as Steve solves the issue or convince that OP is abusing the system.
3692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is now worth more than a kilo of pure gold! on: February 21, 2021, 06:21:19 PM
Many people just try to compare Bitcoin with gold and called bitcoin digital gold. But I never try to do so. Because Bitcoin and gold are totally different. One is an asset and one is a currency. Doesn't matter the currency backed by the community but it's already adopting worldwide. Bitcoin value and price increasing nonstop, but as an asset gold still stable and it should be always. If you say gold price also increasing then just compare other assets, aren't all assets increasing day by day? Today good to see we can even buy 1-kilo gold for 1 bitcoin, but we don't know what will happen after a few days. It would increase or decrease, but gold will remain as same almost. So do not judge bitcoin with the gold price.
3693  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Wallet Restoration - Password needed? on: February 21, 2021, 06:07:14 PM
It depends on which wallet are you using. Don't mix the seed phrase password with the password that used encryption the wallet file. Even you forgot the wallet file password, but still you can recover the funds if you have a seed phrase. But if you use extended seed words during seed creation for extra protection then you should need it as well to recover your funds. Extra words shouldn't call password instead of seed extension. It's quite complicated to remember extensions seed, writing with the original seed doesn't make any sense or any extra layer of protection. So just make sure you aren't encrypting your seed with seed extension (seed password).
3694  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 21, 2021, 05:01:09 PM
How would you suppose sportsbet.io prove that the OP is violating their TOS?  The OP said that Steve wrote to him saying his KYC documents were stolen, so they could not accept them.  Do you want Steve to publish the documents, which he believes are stolen?  That would be doxing some unknown, uninvolved individual.  Something similar happened not long ago, which was settle via mediation by members of the forum.
How you so confident that the documents were fake? Is there no way to verify KYC except publish documents in public? So only we suppose to believe what is Sportsbet saying (even not posting here)? We hadn't heard anything from Steve either OP wrong or right.

Your opinion your tag, but I'm not sure that's really helpful.  Sportsbet isn't some fly-by-night outfit, looking for the short scam.  This is a legitimate business we're talking about, one with a lot to lose.  Their reputation is worth far more than $8k, and I doubt they would risk that reputation without just cause.
How are we be sure there aren't similar cases out of the forum? There is the possibility that all victims don't know about this forum to create an accusation. Of course, we don't have the right to talk about it out of the forum, but those are on the forum I believe we have the right to talk about it.

In the example from last summer Sportsbet was certain their terms of service had been violated, yet due to the pressure from the community they acquiesced to a settlement to appease the crowd.  Is this really a good precedent?  Are we going to tag all businesses that are implicated by a newbie, no matter how long they've been operating here, and ignoring other mitigating, although extraneous factors?  How many times will Sportsbet allow themselves to be extorted before they abandon the forum all together?
I am not getting the point why you are saying it pressure instead of legitimate questions? So we can't raise legitimate questions against Sportsbet? We or I can't tag all businesses if there are no valid accusations neither I involved will all accusation threads. Different DT members are involving with different cases if they feel to contribute there. It doesn't mean I or everyone should handle all the accusations here and tag all the business. Sportsbet should respond and explain the situation at least when someone creates a valid accusation against them.

I'm not defending sportsbet because they throw me some sats whenever I post.  If I believed these allegations I would be ashamed to don their banner.  But yes, I'm inclined to believe sportsbet.io, they've demonstrated they are a trustworthy company, and at the very least they deserve that.  Instead of putting the burden on sportsbet to prove their ToS were violated, lets put the burden of proof on the newbie.
I am not saying you defending. You wrote what you believe and I wrote what I believe. But any conclusion wouldn't come from our beliefs or emotions. OP describes whatever he has, so Sportsbet should describe as well the current situations. After that, we may come to a conclusion. There wouldn't be any solution by you or me only without the involvement of Sportsbet. OP said he is ready to cooperate if Sportsbet needs something else to unlock the account and it was stated publicly but seems Steve just stop replying here and I don't think this is a positive move of Sportsbet.

So don't much worry about feedback or your banner. Anyone not blaming yet about wearing their banner or advertising them. I really don't see any reason why you should feel ashamed, this is an ongoing process and hope Sportsbet will solve it or prove OP is wrong.
3695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Something to consider when selling your BTC... on: February 21, 2021, 08:32:56 AM
There is 2 type of sell, one is for your need and 2nd is sell for trade. I know it's better if you can hold bitcoin. But the question is how long? Bitcoin already above $50K which is a large amount. Should you wait for $100K or more? I mean we are involved with Bitcoin for our life, it could change our life. But if you hold it for a lifetime then how it would change your life? Most probably your next generation would enjoy your bitcoin. So I am on the trend that I have been selling Bitcoin wherever they need to live. Doesn't matter the price. I know it's hard to buy back, but keep in mind about 2017. It's was back to $3K. I am not telling just sold all of your assets, but sell when you need it for real life, and the rest keep on hold. If someone selling for trade, then that is a different story. If holders hold all bitcoin by holder then are you believe the market situation will be like this?
3696  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 20, 2021, 07:40:17 PM
Thread has been created for almost 10 days. Although there is 2 reply from Steve but no solution. Steve said he is in a touch with the OP but seems OP telling Steve stopped replying after etched of a few messages. If OP's accusation is wrong them Steve should provide the appropriate reasons and evidence to prove this wrong. Ignoring wouldn't be a solution at all. Since the accusation in public, then resolution should be public as well.

I am tagging Sportsbet.io since they stopped replying here (but active). Will be removed after solving the issue or prove the accusation is wrong.

3697  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tomatocage on: February 20, 2021, 05:24:21 PM
So who is the best middleman right now
let me telegram him
Again telegram? Shouldn't take a lesson from your first mistake? Always try to contact via forum PM. If you have PM limitations then ask escrow to provide his telegram via PM as well. But keep in mind, use telegram just for discussion, not for the financial deal. Always get payment information via forum PM. At least you can create a scam accusation if the deal is done via forum in case you got a scam. As suggested by other users, ask escrow to sign a message from the escrow address linked into the escrow service thread
3698  Economy / Reputation / Re: Tomatocage on: February 20, 2021, 03:19:02 PM
I'm leaving you a neutral feedback for accusing me and pulling this bs drama
Come on man, what you lead to leave neutral feedback with the negative comment? Is he really accusing you? Everyone knows that Tomatocage isn't involved with that scam since he isn't active for a long time and there is no post where Tomatocage uses this telegram. YOSHIE just shared the information he found, not accusing you. There was an accusation regarding your alts, but honestly, I can't find the proper explanation of how accounts were connected. So quoting that doesn't mean he accused you. Just take it easy and explain that you weren't connected with Tomatocage. Make it simple instead of making it more complex.

Regarding OP, we are really sorry to hear that you lost your funds. Surprisingly you come here after scammed, but you were unable to send a PM to Tomatocage before making the deal. So you are responsible for that scam. We can't do anything if a scam happened out of the forum.
3699  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Amepay does not keep payment promises Bounty on: February 20, 2021, 06:08:00 AM
I don't know why the team declined to pay bounty stakes even after succeeding in the project. This is just a revelation of a narrow mind. Not answering legitimate questions means they just want to skip from distributing bounty stakes. Most likely they don't care about the accusation or tag since they already raised enough money. Why not you guys showing the community power? You spammed for them to get rewards, why now not running an anti-campaign against them by labeling them as a scammer.

Tagged both questioned accounts.
3700  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Possible Scam? on: February 19, 2021, 05:54:53 PM
Email address quite confusing for newbies since the email domain almost looking the same. Just ask yourself, had you submitted your email anywhere during the installation of Electrum? I don't think so, because I have been using Electrum but hadn't seen them asked for the email address. Even on the website, there are no places for email submission. Most probably this is a spoof email just trying to scam you. Honestly, I even do not update the Electrum wallet from the software. If there is a new version then I directly visit the official website and download it from there. Just ignore such emails.
