i have a ZXR sound card in my computer. i'm shopping around for a good pair of headphones. i'm considering MDR-1RBTMK2. i'm not an audio expert, but i like nice stuff. and since these headphones are wireless i am failing to understand if my ZXR is effecting the sound quality.
Beyerdynamics and some good DAC is a killer combo.
3682  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cavirtex exchange shutdown after being hacked on: February 18, 2015, 04:59:43 PM
Damn, too many security breaches at exchanges recently..

It's not security breaches, its the owners running away with the money because they are scared at the bitcoin crash. Too bad idiots trusted their money into them instead of leaving them on their wallets or waiting for the Gemini exchange.
3683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts? on: February 18, 2015, 04:58:30 PM
Shitcoins.

Maidsafe is the only worth crypto related project worth looking after that isn't Bitcoin, when the current bubble bursts it's an obvious buy.

Care to back that up with some non biased review(s)?

Never invest in a crypto that isnt BTC for long term, unless you have real reasons too beyond speculation.
3684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to hide your bitcoin? on: February 18, 2015, 04:56:31 PM
People getting paid in sig campaigns have to always use the same signature address so the runners of the campaign can keep track and it's public. So I dont see any other solution for this than running these coins through mixers.

Come on! You can always move money from the account the campaign sends payment to...ideally to cold storage!
how does that work

wouldn't that show in the blockchain?
3685  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2.5 BTC stolen i wanna cry :-( on: February 18, 2015, 04:53:35 PM
how was it? you should have secured it in a trezor...

Trezor for storing BTC2.5?

Would you spend BTC1 for storing BTC2.5?

If you are having large quantities of BTC, then Trezor is a very good option. But for someone who is having just 2 or 3 coins, it won't be a good idea to spend half his coins to store them securely.

Trezor is less than half a bitcoin.
I think I'd recommend getting one for storing 2.5btc (and all future btc acquired). The peace of mind is worth it to me.

If BTC goes 100K you just lost 0.5K in something that could be replaced with a hard disk/usb and common sense. No thanks Jeff.
3686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Is Bitcoin for EVERYONE or just a new ELITE? Vote! on: February 18, 2015, 04:52:19 PM
In Bitcoinland elites will rise and fall while in the fiat world elites are sticking no matter what "Ooops, let's just print some money...".
Exactly. There will always be elites ALWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS fuck. But the difference for the first time in HISTORY is that the core of the system (blockchain) cannot be changed. This is huge and this is why bitcoin will go 100K per coin.

3691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Time Travel Kill Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2015, 05:11:24 PM
[...] with quantum entanglement and superposition [...]

Wait just there. If you think quantum entanglement enables faster-than-light communication (and therefore, time travel), then you don't understand how quantum entanglement actually works.

Yes, quantum particles are entangled in such a way that if we measure the spin on one particle, the spin on the other will automatically be its reverse, and this happens no matter how apart they are. However, we have no way to control which spin the particles will have. They are chosen at random the moment they are measured. So, no, there's no way to send information using quantum entanglement, at least with the current knowledge we have.

This video explains it very well.
Random? what is random? does pure random exists or we just not having enough power to compute whatever is needed to be computed to find the real seed of that perceived randomness, or is it totally random? aaa my mind fuck it.
3692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who cares if Bitcoin goes mainstream? on: February 17, 2015, 05:09:52 PM

it will be helpful for you, if you want to try use a vps ( 20-40 GB of hardisk minimum , because the blockchain is "large").
this is exactly why i am using lightweight wallet electrum. because i dont want 30 GB of my precious hard drive go to waste!
You help bitcoin by running a core.
The problem more than space disk is ram,you need lot of ram.

Lets talk about this when bitcoin goes mainstream. Maybe it will take 3 more decades for that.

noooooooo, bitcoin will never go away, and will always remain  Cry Cry
Lol can you read, he said he would take 3 decades to reach mainstream status.
Its bullshit tho, it will arrive in 10 years. If it takes more then its a fail.
