3681  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can you still believe aTriz words? on: February 28, 2018, 02:14:40 PM
I think aTriz was thinking with the wrong head here and blew his beans prematurely. I hope at least he got a free cam show chucked in the deal. Not really worth it if he has to pay the deal in full for the three years though Grin.
3682  Economy / Reputation / Re: Why I think User "alia" is a (potential) scammer? User "aTriz" maybe involved! on: February 28, 2018, 01:06:43 PM
Most of the non-virgins have figured out that I am a girl, mainly because they don't think that having a RL LIFE GRILL talkin to them is that outlandish.

Ah, the classic must be virgins attack. Nice. Next up basement dwellers in their mum's house. And it's pretty outlandish on this forum. It's just a shame that 99% of the people who claim to be women here aren't and are just trying to scam in some capacity.

Like I said... not only to we both use each other's accounts sometimes, we also have similar interests, etc. etc.
As in you both are camgirls / love Game of Thrones / incest?
Just curious.

I mean, it certainly looks that way:

Lol. The hole just keeps getting dug deeper.

I wrote that feedback myself. Roll Eyes

People here aren't stupid,

Yeah, most aren't. Are you really going to keep up with these excuses? Again, you're really just wasting your time now.
3683  Economy / Reputation / Re: What if there’s no brother? (Tell me, who had that idea?) on: February 28, 2018, 12:48:32 PM

Your rep won't be restored even if you did a dance on cam for me that I specifically choreographed for you with your passport and social security card glued to your forehead whilst chanting my username and today's date. You're just wasting your time here now.

As funny as that is... you're dead wrong. Come back in a year, sweetie

Thanks. I had a little chuckle to it myself. I look forward to being proved wrong. I would bet nothing will have changed in a year though, but I really think you're just going be wasting your time. You got caught out in numerous places and even if you could convince someone via cam or other means you are a girl most of the intelligent folks here won't buy it for reasons already stated.

Out of interest, how much would a video be of you dancing to my own choreography with your passport stuck to your head whilst chanting my username be?  Grin

Like I said... not only to we both use each other's accounts sometimes, we also have similar interests, etc. etc.

lol. It was a friend/ex would have been more believable. At least that Speaker girl guy above had the wit to blame it on an ex when caught out using some scammer's bitcointalk addresses.

Your rep won't be restored even if you did a dance on cam for me that I specifically choreographed for you with your passport and social security card glued to your forehead whilst chanting my username and today's date. You're just wasting your time here now.

I can hardly believe that this individual actually thinks that “Alia” became the talk of the town in a matter of days without any special—assistance.

Sorry about that, hilarious.  (But actually, it is hilarious.)

Talk of the town? Hardly. You're still suffering under the delusion that your world is everyone else's world, too. It is unfortunate to see how quickly people can turn - I had thought I had found a genuine friend in you. It turns out not only are you a viper like the rest, you also have a lowkey god complex. It's very sad, seriously. I'm sad to have lost you, you made my day so many times throughout the last few weeks

I'm waiting for the nullius/alia sextape to leak.
3684  Economy / Reputation / Re: What if there’s no brother? (Tell me, who had that idea?) on: February 28, 2018, 12:31:38 PM
I repeat: you can't fake a Skype call!

Of course you can. The girls above did. People can just use their wife/girlfriend/sister/slam-piece/girl they met off tinder etc etc. A picture/call/webcam session proves little really. All it proves is there's a woman involved somewhere whether voluntary or involuntary. The Speaker girl above was in on most of it but it was a guy controlling 'her' forum account here orchestrating the scams and as far as I recall the homeless Jackie girl was apparently just sneakily exploited without her knowledge of the scam, and again, the same dude was pulling the strings here without her knowledge.

It just occurred to me - if I am fake and not really a girl, why the fuck would I go through the trouble?

To scam, obviously. You know as much as I do if you can convince people you're a woman beyond all reasonable doubt it will be a lot easier for you to scam. I would bet both my bollocks you are almost certainty a dude in charge of this account just to try scam in any capacity you can (and looking at your threads these methods seem to be quite diverse), but sure, there likely will be real life woman you've managed to convince to do cam sessions or whatnot involved but it proves nothing.

It's easy to dismiss me as a one month account with red trust. But I am a human being, I am someone who wants to offer my services here and make this forum a better place. I want to prove who I really am via Skype, I want to be interviewed, I want to do whatever it takes to redeem myself. I know that to you guys I'm just the day's entertainment, but to me this is a pretty big deal. I don't want a negative tagged account. I want to make business relationships here

Make it a better place by attempting tax evasion and other shenanigans? Forget it. Move on to the next account/scam/girl. The it was my brother/mother/sister/class mate and we were just sharing accounts is the bitcointalk equivalent of the dog ate my homework excuse.

You are calling me a scammer, but I have not scammed anyone.

Not yet. The long con game was obviously in motion though.

I will make it a point to prove everyone wrong. I'll continue attempting deals (using escrow) and I'll win back everyone's trust, through pure time and evidence. Ignore me for now, if you really want. I wouldn't recommend it though. I want you people to fucking Skype me for evidence, lol

Your rep won't be restored or story believed even if you did a dance on cam for me that I specifically choreographed for you with your passport and social security card glued to your forehead whilst chanting my username and today's date. You're just wasting your time here now.
3685  Other / Meta / Re: Moderators needed in Bitcoin Discussion section on: February 28, 2018, 12:05:54 PM
Just report the shit threads. People hardly report them so that's why they stay for ages and I'm often appalled at how long they've been there and how many responses they've got without a single report. Most mods don't patrol their boards looking for things to do and I barely go in most boards except Meta these days but when I do in there I usually trash several threads but reporting them would get them cleaned up a whole lot quicker.
3686  Economy / Reputation / Re: What if there’s no brother? (Tell me, who had that idea?) on: February 28, 2018, 11:44:31 AM
New hypothesis:  There really is a girl actively involved, not only as a hireling or sidekick but perhaps even as the one writing the posts here.  revcback/favours/whatever is the boyfriend or “FWB” who provides penis for on-camera sex acts which require one.  There is no brother-sister relationship.

This sort of scam isn't new but can be very effective in getting thirsty makes to drop their guard and part with their money once they've seen a bit of verified flesh (because a real life woman won't scam you, right?). Anyone can pay $5 or so to get a sign made from a half naked girl with a timestamped username of your choice but getting someone to do cam sessions is a bit trickier but not when cam girls do it for a living and will happily take people's money regardless of where it comes from. It's been done on here a couple of times. If I recall correctly a couple of people 'verified' that the user codishmumu was legit via some cam session and turned out it was a dude, and even further back than that there was a guy who was pimping out his druggy girlfriend in exchange for drugs off Silk Road, and guess what? Turns out to be a dude and went on to scam someone with a gambling site they launched:

Post them!

What he actually looks like:

Just gonna do some diggin' here:

Your address: 1GHocj5NrZLcpdUoX7YQbj34NcrwwTarWu

DaSkipper's address: 1GHocj5NrZLcpdUoX7YQbj34NcrwwTarWu

A picture-thread started by DaSkipper

Is this Ron?

yeah that's the faggot. Ron isn't his real name. I would link his real name but you guys would dox me in a heartbeat if I did.

What caused you to sever ties with "Ron"?

I really don't wanna talk about it but if you guys really want to know I'll give a little details.

And there was his 'homeless Jackie' scam before that which was later found out to be him:

Hey all!
Just found a chick who likes (1)Bitcoins, (2)Chats on the forums about anything, (3) I Dont think is a lesbian!
Check out her site at: http://homelessjackie.com
Her Bitcoin Donation Address is listed here: http://homelessjackie.com/bitcoin-donations/

Come on people this is from what i see a first time real world chick! get those bitcoins going!

Does anyone have the verified pictures of the alleged alia girl? This scam certainly reminds me of the above one and the guy is a long time scammer going back years who I doubt ever went away.
3687  Other / Meta / Re: Yet another "Merit" post....please just hear me out for a minute. on: February 28, 2018, 05:17:37 AM
No - Poor you. Or should I say lucky you. Glad you made it before the merit system so you can just sit back and chill and be negative and act like a fucking know-it-all elitist because you have an older account then most. WOW DUDE - IMPRESSIVE STUFF! And yes, it has to do with rank, it will suck for some of us to spend years here only to be the same rank we were once the merit system was implemented due to the shitty system. I would like to wear an avatar IS THAT OK WITH YOU SIR? Get a clue.

You're the negative one here not to mention very cynical. You'll only stay the same rank if you're a shitposter with nothing worthwhile to contribute and if that's the case I'm glad these people will get nowhere and the system will work as intended. Contribute something and stop whining and being lazy and you'll get your rank over time once you earn it.

More of your douchebag elitist attitude. Dude - just because you created an account here a while ago doesn't make you a forum GOD. You didn't even spell "demoralized" correctly. If you are going to act so snooty at least get your spelling correct! And yes, people should just give up and leave because of people like you. Lol. Sorry but that is not only NEVER going to happen - this forum will grow and grow until people like you decide to leave and go somewhere you think is better. Feel free to make a better forum - one in which you can be the SOLE KING!

I think you should learn to speak English because the proper spelling is actually 'demoralised'. Attacking someone's spelling is always a petty and childish ad hominem usually from people incapable of making a valid argument but incredibly ironic when you get it wrong. Also, I think it should be you who's creating a new forum since you obviously know how to run one best (yet offer no actual solutions).

Maybe because I am still new. I mean for a genius like yourself that one seems obvious right? I didn't know shit about buying and selling accounts, merit, trust, any of it until the merit system was introduced and I saw a ton of threads about all this crap. Again though, you must have known this with your Jedi powers.

What does being new have to do about it? Ignorance on your part isn't an excuse but not sure how you only realiSed account sales took place once merit was introduced. You obviously knew about ranks so why did you not complain about those not being fair and that you're not magically and instantly a Hero member with avatar?

Google ATS - it stands for Above Top Secret. Before that forum got infiltrated by the government it was the the best forum on the planet for that type of content and the largest too. And yes, they found a VERY good way to deal with a similar system to "merit". Nothing is perfect, but it is definitely better than this one, even after all their faults over the years since I left.

Oh, a forum to discuss aliens and 9/11 conspiracies that has been infiltrated by the government lol. That explains a lot about you. You do know the illuminati runs this one, right?

There will always be shitposting in large community forums. Dude are you new to this shit? But the idea is supposed to be to promote better quality posting, not give people with old accounts a new way to abuse them.

Yes, there will always be shitposting on forums but not to the extent there is here because this forum is pretty much the only one where you can get paid to post which exacerbates the issue a hundredfold and hence why people sign up with dozens to hundreds of accounts each just to shitpost. The merit system now heftily curbs that behaviour, but again, you've offered absolutely no suggestions at all other than childish whining. Please let me know when you come up with something that will work better and I'll pass it on to the admins.
3688  Other / Meta / Re: Yet another "Merit" post....please just hear me out for a minute. on: February 28, 2018, 03:42:51 AM

You do realize that people with many accounts (which tons of people do have since it only took age of account and some simple posts to get to FULL member before this system) are just swapping merit with each other and creating an even bigger gap between normal, hard working people, and those that are just profiting from a rigged system?

The rich are getting richer so to speak, swapping merit, selling it to people that can afford it, and boosting up each others alt accounts quite easily - and also many are at points just from the date they signed up that the merit doesn't even matter to them aside from being able to help out their friends and/or boost other accounts. [/i]

At this point just with activity I would be a MEMBER on my way to FULL. But, as it stands, I am getting screwed here as are many others.

- Force people to buy accounts and sell them (highly frowned upon in this community although legal to do)
- Only people that have a lot of money can do the above - separating even further the hardworking person from those with money

Poor you. Why were you not making any of these points about the ranking or feedback system? Because they all apply, though I guess before all people had to bare was time and not actually bother putting effort in to making any posts of substance and hey presto you get the rank you want. People complained about the exact same things when the signature restrictions were put into place. Wah wah wah now I have to wait eight months to be a Senior. They got over it but it was those changes that drove the real price of accounts and essentially created the entire market in the first place. You didn't seem to complain about the rich getting richer then.

- Demoralizes people from posting quality content because now with this system they expect to be rewarded, see others rewarded for less, and become bitter

These people can get demoralized all they want because these sorts are not wanted here. If your only reason to be here is just to get merit so you can move through the ranks to be paid for contributing little to nothing then I hope they get so demoralised that they just give up and leave. They wont though. They'll just keep complaining because life is a bit harder now lazy posting gets you nowhere.

- People not only buying and selling accounts but straight up "merit" - have a look around on the web it is there plain to see (and this is not OK to do)

Again, why did you not complain about people selling accounts or trust?

So here is my suggestion:

Remove this terrible system and try again. Go look at some other large forums (ATS) and see how over the MANY years they have been around, they perfected the system you are trying to create. Maybe create a hybrid from what is tried and true with some new unique flavor and see how it works.

BUT - AND THIS IS HUGE - DO NOT SETTLE FOR SOMETHING WHICH IS OBVIOUSLY BROKEN AND NOT WORKING AS INTENDED!
I mean seriously...scrap it and retry until you get it right. You think that Ford would have continued with metal tires after he thought it was a great idea and then realized it was terrible? You think the Wright Brothers would have continued to use real bird feathers for their planes after one of them was paralyzed? I mean seriously. Accept the loss, re-create and move ahead. This is how great things happen. You try and you fix until you succeed!

What is ATS and have they somehow found a perfect way to let people get paid for posting whilst stopping shitposting and account farming? You've offered no suggestions here at all other than "just try something new". Well the merit system is trying something new and it does actually work at curbing shitposting but that doesn't mean it can't be exploited but any good thing can be exploited for bad purposes by nefarious or unscrupulous people. I would prefer signatures are just banned from the forum because that's the only way people will stop complaining and shitposting and selling accounts. Problem solved.
3689  Other / Meta / Re: Post count dropped by almost 40 in the last hour or so on: February 28, 2018, 03:09:45 AM
Why did you create a new account to ask this or are your posts that shit you don't want to be told the obvious? Nobody can give you a definitive answer without knowing the name of your account but it is highly likely that you posted in numerous spam megathreads that were trashed.
3690  Other / Meta / Re: Merits for the newbies and jr members on: February 27, 2018, 01:23:35 PM
Merits are meant to reward meritable posts. Higher ranks might not need them but that doesn't mean to say they should just be sent to lower ranks making poor to average posts. If a lower ranked member makes quality contributions then they will likely be rewarded (see nullius).
3691  Other / Off-topic / Re: Want to become a bounty manager!! on: February 27, 2018, 12:53:18 PM
Anyway, are you ready for that kind of job and responsible enough? I have not experienced it, but seems to be stressful by just seeing the bounty threads, especially because there are lots of bounty participants who didn't care to read and understand the rules.

It is a lot of work... well, if you actually do the job properly, but many people just see it as an another easy source of income and for some of them it is. Many campaign managers such as sylon don't actually do anything other than pay the people who sign up and make the minimum required amount of shitposts, hence why those campaigns are abused by hacked accounts, bots, farmers and spammers.
3692  Other / Meta / Re: Newbies can now pay a small fee to enable images on: February 27, 2018, 12:47:28 PM
@theymos

Has the potential been considered of allowing paid accounts to have avatars at low rank, via Copper Membership or otherwise?

This is one of the perks I suggested of one of the potential higher donator ranks. Maybe for a "Silver" one if additional ranks get implemented (though theymos has said there's no current plans to add any new ranks). I don't think it should be included with Copper though and that rank should essentially just be a bare bones one with only minimal benefits (essentially being an automatic whitelisting).
3693  Economy / Reputation / Re: More mass merit farming on: February 26, 2018, 07:19:37 PM
I hope Theymos strips the Merit from all those accounts.
Good work hilariousetc .

Lol that won't happen. I tagged them all anyway.

Looks like imposing the merit requirements gave the forum a new way to find cheaters on the forum. Anyone tagged for merit abuse will most def be removed from any campaigns I manage.

I just hope they don't manage to get themselves on another campaign. Most of the crapcoin campaigns or managers don't check or care half the time. They should be banned from the forum really but they haven't really explicitly broken any of the forum rules apart from some of them were multi posting and talking to each other and trading/farming merit doesn't seem to be a bannable offence yet.

I started imposing merit requirements  to look for more quality posters, not to find out the biggest cheaters. Just because it can be done doesn't make it right though, I mean using that logic I should go rob a bank. It can be done but is it legal? Imposing any rules or implementing any new system doesn't mean go and break the rules of the forum. This shows your character and shows me you don't deserve to be on bitcointalk, so IMO imposing this new system just brought out a bunch of weak users and gave the forum reasons to say goodbye to them

It has positives and negatives. Sadly the biggest farmers are the ones that will find it easier to abuse whilst genuine users with just one account will struggle or at least take some time to achieve, though on the flip side it opens the farmers up to being spotted as many farmers won't be able to resist leaving themselves merit because it's so hard to get in naturally.
3694  Economy / Reputation / Re: More mass merit farming on: February 26, 2018, 04:56:02 PM
So are they going to get banned or are we going to tag them?

Well at the very least they should be tagged but will take some effort. Full list here (in date registered order):

3695  Other / Meta / Re: [List] Suspected users that are abusing merit 3.0 on: February 26, 2018, 04:14:03 PM
There's a lot of users are abusing merit points, if you can't notice some of them are continues doing this. But the list given in this thread are only suspected so it means that most that the evidence given are not yet proven. I was sad because some of users are continues in buying merit or they can exchange with the others. I advise to them stop doing that because karma was always on the back. Maybe you improve your post, give the best quality you can and be creative and informative your post to easily earn merit points.
Excellent you are truly correct, we need to work hard and we need to post the best as we can. Because if we gain merit from evil we have no different to a cheater.
I also agree that all of the link of the users in this thread are not guilty but they have a mark now. So stop making suspicious move to lessen the eye watching in your account.

The irony seeing as you seem to be the ringleader in massive amounts of merit farming: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3024695.0

And you're even doing it in this thread along with users tricker01 and lenovo16.

Is there any good reason why all the accounts you're sending merit to all seem to be sending merit between themselves and all seem to be on the Eroiy.io campaign which need both a lot of merit to join and paid bonuses for getting merit during the campaign? You're in fact the unique one out of the bunch in that nobody has sent you any merit at all but I'm guessing that's because you don't need it already being a Hero member so the others just send it between themselves instead:

With the exception of JayJuanGee all those users seem to be related to you and are just meriting their own posts.

Yeah, just noticed something interesting. Check out the user chineseprancing and his merit sent https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=552858

With the exception of JayJuanGee (who seems to be completely unrelated to this) all the users he has sent to are involved in the above merit farming between themselves on the two yahoo campaigns. chineseprancing seems to be somewhat of the ringleader in sending a lot of the merit out and has merited the most out of all the users but I noticed something unique in that he hasn't received any merit back at all. I'm guessing this is probably because he doesn't need it already being a Hero member so others wont 'waste' it on him.

So I started to notice a few similarities between a group of users seemingly trading merit back and forth between themselves for poor to average posts or nothing really of substance. What stood out the most is that 99% of them are on the same two campaigns (or at least have their signatures) which seemingly require high merit and even paid bonuses for merit achieved. The campaigns in question are Yahoo's Eroiy.io and his own one:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2827626 Eroiy.io Signature Campaign(Higher rewards for users with merits)(CLOSED)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2956154.0 Yahoo62278 Sig & Avatar Campaign(High merit required)

I think it's highly likely that many of the following users are either alts and/or have at least conspired to trade merit between themselves to try get on these campaigns and/or boost their pay.

Upon looking at the first page of sign-ups on yahoo's signature campaign I see a lot of users who have seemingly been unsuccessful in joining that one and have at least attempted to sign up on Eroiy.io as they're all baring that signature. These two users who tried to join back to back with the same activity stood out especially:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1111405     lenovo16 August 17, 2017 Eroiy.io

If you check their merit history you will see they have only sent merit to other users baring either Eroiy.io or Yahoo's own signatures.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1041648     cipher-x_09 June 23, 2017 yahoo

Once you start to look into the others sent merit you rapidly start to descend down a massive merit rabbit hole of accounts who have seemingly traded merit back and forth between the same group of users all mostly on the same two campaigns.

Check out the merit list of the guy shalnark and lenovo16 both sent merit to:

With the exception of mharz all of the accounts he has sent merit to are yet again on both campaigns:

Starting to see a pattern here? The same names just keep popping up and the odds of that randomly happening are astronomical. If you check the merit sent of all the accounts above they've all pretty much just sent to the same group of members who 99% are on the same two campaigns that just so happen to require merit. There will likely be a lot of alts here (probably the ones that signed up in the same months) but it's hard to say which for sure without further evidence, but at the very least I think there's almost certainly been some behind the scenes collusion between members on the campaigns just to send merit to each other.

I could go on listing all the users in question but it should be pretty clear by now the ones that are involved. There's really no good reason why the same names should be popping up and even the same poor to below average posts getting merited by the same users. I think these users have some explaining to do.

No, but I can put your name down and I'll contact you nearer the time or just keep your eye out for a thread in Games and Rounds. Hopefully there will be some sort of predictor website similar to the BBC Premier League one so somebody should keep a look out for that because I really don't think I could be bothered adding up all the scores game after game haha.

Well that was probably my worst week ever. Only 20 points I think. Seems most people didn't do very well though looking at the board except BetAdvisor who got 100 points and StephenCurry333 did pretty good with 60.

Hello guys, I have just stumbled on this thread and checked it out a bit together with the main one where you post all of your picks. Hope you don't mind me posting here since I am not playing. Just wanted to say that you have a very nice game going on here and of course I want in for the next season if you will have me Smiley

Premier League is my favorite league to watch and I am already playing PL Fantasy Football for fiat money in the local league so this PL score prediction would come as neat addition. I have also played PL score prediction on superbru.com but I pick the scores without giving them much thought since there is no money in the mix. If I find the time maybe I'll check out how I would rate in your league.

Anyway, good luck to all of you in the coming game weeks.

I'll be running them every season and hopefully for other tournaments (Euros and World Cup etc). Everyone is free to join... well, as long as you pay the fee  Cheesy.

Oh come on,how many times do i have to explain that i'm innocent. Sad

You can claim this as much as you like but you're a liar. You both type the exact same way. Mostly lower-case I's and no spaces when you start a sentence. You also both spell ethereum wrong as etherium. This coupled with the fact that you both used the same address is pretty damning evidence:

I personally HODL ETH as I view it as the top blockchain in terms of what ICO's and projects use. If your opinion(s) out there, who do you think are their biggest competitors in terms of ICO's and blockchain projects?

I have heard that NEO is one of them but I'm curious to know who else could challenge them in that regard.

For me i think it's either litecoin or ripple that ranks as the thirds most promising coin and ico that next to etherium. But holding eth is also a good choice mate,i suggest to still hold it,there might a time that etherium will rise its price. For a better choice you can check their potential through online, there you can see if the project or the ico has the possibility of growth.

just wondering when Will Ethereum reach 1200 again? Is there any upcoming news about ETH that might lead to price growth?
There is no exact information about etherium price. Many speculation that it will rise this year but it not sure. For me i guees it will rise in the middle of the year im not sure.If there is more knowledge i think it is the crypto analyst.
