3681  Economy / Economics / Re: Halving is approacing: HOLD YOUR BITCOINS AND NEVER SELL THEM on: January 02, 2020, 08:26:04 PM
I have no idea why you have to hold money and never sell them, then the meaning of owning them? If you are billionaire and never spend money from those collected billions, then you are just random guy and not a billionaire and no one knows what will happen around you tomorrow.
Current halving expectation is different from old, I don't know why because in past we had huge rise and today we should have even higher expects but the problem is that price doesn't show any promise as for now and it's not so easy to see rise from 7K to 20K and higher cause this amount of money is really big.
But I have no idea if daily trading is the most suggested choice because you don't have to catch every moment (both good and bad) but it's better to catch great moments and this great moments aren't a few and in overall it's far more beneficial. Trade when you think it's good time.
You are making wrong comparisons over here and sounds totally illogical. Owning those coins means, you are the sole owner of those coins. If a person holds onto a coin, he will eventually sell them once his profit goal has been reached. Billionaires don't hold their money because holding paper money gives you no benefit like gains or interest etc. Rather, holding paper money  becomes more risky as inflation gets added into the economy. On other hand, holding crypto coins like bitcoin does give you profit in the long. That is why people holds on their btc instead of their fiat money.
3682  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thought I got scammed but now what? on: January 02, 2020, 08:14:17 PM
This is what actually happened. First, they gained your trust by acting legit by giving out nice (and probably abnormally good) amount of returns to your invested amount. Secondly, they took advantage of this trust and made you invest more. Once you added more to your investment, they started making excuse about getting hacked, thus scamming you. Thirdly, they expected you to never contact them and was little surprised by you contacting them after days. Thus, they wanted to try and scam more of your coins by making more excuse like "activating wallet" and other bullshits.
3683  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 02, 2020, 07:41:49 PM
So we think that China, the government with the most oppression in the world which spys on its Citizens through the usage of a points system and biometrics on a daily basis, is going to lead the way on digital currency adoption? Hell no, that's bullshit.

China wants to use this to spy on their people even further. The ONLY current way that people are able to skirt the governments eye is by using cash, but you can't do that if the country forces you to use, then they're going to continue to spy on the people. They're going to push cash out of the economy because you can't spy on cash but you can SPY on digital cash.
This is exactly what I was about to say. The Chinese government are going to love crypto currencies because this is the only way they can spy and keep track of all  its citizen. They can easily control the financial aspects of their citizens. Digital currency is going to be heaven for the Chinese government. Sadly, people will lose all their financial freedom if the Chinese government completely replaces fiat currency with digital currencies.
3684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will China Accept Bitcoin As A Currency? on: January 02, 2020, 06:38:24 PM
The Chinese government are control freaks. I highly doubt they will accept bitcoin as a currency. By the way, how did you come to the conclusion that the government has soften their stance over crypto currencies? They haven't changed anything. All they are trying to do is create their own crypto currency and make people use this regulated currency so the government can keep an eye on every financial transactions taking place!
3685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why you need to store your money in your hands! on: January 01, 2020, 06:56:55 PM
Or put your coins to a wallet where you have total control of the private keys.

If you allow yourself to leave or store you coins in an exchanges, changes are you're going to lost it one way or another. Maybe your account being hack, or the exchanges itself being breach by cyber criminals, or worst your account being frozen for suspicion. It doesn't matter if it's Binance, as long as it is a centralised exchanges wherein you don't have the private keys, it is not safe.
He is not talking about storing coins in an exchange. All he is saying is that there are chances of exchange freezing your acccount, thus your funds also getting frozen. This is true. This can happen. It doesn't matter if the user is storing the coins for short term or long term. As soon as the user tries to withdraw his coins, if the security alarm triggers, the account will get frozen. Now you can't just suggest him not to use exchange. That is not a solution.
3686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: January 01, 2020, 05:36:37 PM
It is because of greed! Most people know and understand if something is a "scam" by just analyzing it. But, people still fall for those obvious scam because they get greedy. They see opportunity over there and then they jump for it. They know about the risk of getting scammed, but they kinda wants to dare. Think about those ponzie schemes. We all know those schemes mainly works like in first come first serve basis and rest of them gets scammed. Those first people make insane profits. Now, people due to greed wants to take those risks and thus eventually falls for the scam.
3687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Bet Or Gamble Before New Year, Or On The New Year on: December 28, 2019, 01:47:17 PM
Lol, what kind of question is this? Does it really matter when you gamble? I guess most of the people will be gambling during the new years since casinos might host different events and giveaways. But then others might be  busy enjoying the new year with their friends, family and their loved once.
3688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 28, 2019, 01:33:59 PM
Most people who gamble are already rich. They are "rich" that is why they are able to place such high bets. You might now wonder why are they gambling in the first place if they are already rich? Because they enjoy gambling. They have fun when they place high bets. All those adrenaline rush makes them feel good. Some gamble to spend their leisure time, while others just to socialize.
3689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It true youTube has started restoring of crypto related videos? on: December 28, 2019, 01:13:29 PM
Recently seen,
YouTube has started deleting videos of many users who speak on crypto either testimonial or introduction videos.
Many complaints about YouTube is deleting videos without giving any notice. giving shadow ban on videos.
For every action, google send notice, but this time without notice , google taking action on crypto based YouTube videos.
Didn't hear anyone saying that youtube started restoring their video but yeah, I was expecting this to happen. Since no one was notified about their videos getting removed and the reason behind those bans, i guess it was  a faulty algorithm that started flagging those videos by mistake. If that's the case, then yeah YouTube will revert those mistakes.
3690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Under supervision, do you think that anonymous coins have a future? on: December 28, 2019, 12:59:22 PM
Hello everyone and Merry Christmas! According to the current situation, cryptocurrencies are about to be brought under government supervision. Do you think that anonymous coins have a future in this case? How should we choose, thank you for your proposal
Government won't be able to bring all crypto currencies under their control. All they can do is force people to use it under their regulation. Even if people don't follow their regulation how is the government going to stop them? How will they keep track of those who are breaking their rules? Was the government able to remove pirating through p2p torrenting ? Nope. All they are able to do is take down those torrent site but people are still being able to connect with other users and continue pirating.
On other hand, how exactly is the government able to bring anonymous coins under supervision if they can't even know who is transacting in the first place?
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: December 27, 2019, 11:05:29 PM
I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?

Like you said, its a "misconception" that you have heard. In other words, people are just being superstitious. The "New Year Luck" you are talking about doesn't actually exist. Your outcomes on a (legit) casino does not depend on the "New Year". Remember, when gambling, all these factors doesn't matter at all. If you are meant to roll a  number, no matter what happens, you will roll that number.
3692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 27, 2019, 11:00:03 PM
I think they can't stop the usage of bitcoin. The only thing that will make it stop is when they propose a law regarding the usage of the bitcoin. But, as long as there is no KYC needed in the transaction that you are going to do, it might take them several months to distinguish who made the transaction. They will have a hard time trying to identify who is who.
Why is it going to be really hard to identify who is who? You have your public address. They can peg your username to your public address. Thus they will be able to identify who you are without having the need of going through the KYC process.
The government can stop the usage of bitcoin, but they can ban bitcoin. They can make using bitcoin as an offence thus penalizing the person using it, but since bitcoin is decentralized, they won't be having any central authority to ban.
3693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Superstition in Number 13, What About the Casino? (Lucky Six) on: December 27, 2019, 10:54:37 PM
Did you mean you are 70% right about your fact when you said "scratch with 70% correct"? Then, yeah, high chance you are wrong. Superstition is just false believe. Indeed some people tends to choose lucky number 7 and avoid 13 at all cost. But, no I don't think any casino would be taking advantage of this. If they want their device to be rigged, there are hundreds and millions of way to do so. It becomes risky for them to rigg their casino based on people not choosing this number. If people finds out about this, they will be taking huge advantage of this and the casinos will go bankrupt.
3694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please Help! on: December 27, 2019, 09:43:00 PM
I just received response from them - Here it is -

Hello,

Thank you for contacting Coinbase. As Coinbase experiments with expanding into more markets, there will be varying levels of support provided. Initially, Coinbase will only offer self-help customer support in your region.

For more information on what support is provided by region, please visit the following help pages:

International Support for Coinbase
International Support for Coinbase Pro

Thanks,
Coinbase Support

Can anyone tell me what should I do next?
The mail says it all. Did you go to the pages they told you to have look at? Find your region over there and you probably will get a different support address of your region. Contact them and let them know what happened in details. They will try their best. How much did you send? If its a really low amount, I don't think its worth all the hassles you will go through. If its some significant amount, the be prepared to be really patient with their support system. They might take days to reply and it might take months to get your coins back (still its worth trying).
3695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google banned ETH wallet and metamask android client on Playstore on: December 27, 2019, 09:25:56 PM
Google has banned Ethereum (ETH) wallet and decentralized app (DApp) browser Metamask’s android client from its Play app store.

The MetaMask team took to Twitter on Dec. 26, where they announced that Google had suspended MetaMask’s android client from Google Play’s app store, claiming MetaMask was in violation of Google’s financial services policies.

Here is the link to full the news
https://cointelegraph.com/news/google-suspends-metamask-from-its-play-app-store-citing-deceptive-services/amp
Not sure why this is happening all of a sudden. I have heard that Youtube is removing videos related to ICOs and other crypto projects. YouTube is also owned by google and I guess all these are connected and has something to do with them going against crypto currencies. At least they know why they got removed from play store. I guess google updated their playstore terms of service and meta mask ended up breaking google plays financial service policy. Hope everything gets resolved soon.
3696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still a people's currency? on: December 27, 2019, 09:19:03 PM
Maybe in terms of affordability it might be little tough to buy as a whole Bitcoin, but the access to buy as much possible makes it much easy to be used. Also this isn't developed targeting specific people, it is developed for the entire people as well as to fulfill the flaws that the banks does.
Who is telling you to buy one whole bitcoin? You can always buy a fraction of bitcoin and hold it as a long term investment. If you really want to own "whole" crypto instead of "fractions", then go for well known altcoins like ETH, LTC or BCH (make a list and find a suitable one. Don't blindly/randomly invest on the coin I have suggested you). They are much cheaper to afford, at least for now.
Its not like bitcoin does not have any flaws at all to be used as a regular currency. It does have a lot  of its own drawbacks that is making it difficult for people to use it as a a regular day to day currency.
3697  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ponzi scheme and Bitcoin on: December 27, 2019, 09:10:14 PM
Would the collapse of a Ponzi scheme effect the price of Bitcoin?
Though a hypothesis that the collapse of the Chinese Plustoken, a classic Ponzi scheme similar to bitconnect or countless others affected the price of Bitcoin, this seem to be accceptible although it's unlikely to be the major factor but distribution of stolen funds correlate very well with market downturns.
What does ponzi scheme has to do with the price of bitcoin? Your title was kind of misleading. At the first glance, I thought you were comparing bitcoin to a ponzi scheme (like those people who regret not investing on bitcoin when the price was low and now is trying to spread hate) and I was about to bash you.
If you are talking about everyday ponzi scheme, then no it won't affect the price of bitcoin. If you are talking about those ponzi scheme taking place in the crypto world, then yeah. It might affect the price of bitcoin depending on how much they were able to scam off people.
3698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: December 27, 2019, 09:04:43 PM
I will start hating altcoins only when bitcoin raise up to 20,000$ and altcoins fail to move up as well, many people are putting blames on altcoins today as if bitcoin is not in loss itself, the ATH of btc was 20k and now it's trading for 7,000+ thats like 12,000$ lost please how will this not affect other altcoins as well? Top altcoins will surely lose value as well, to me this present loss of altcoins are positive, look at coins like LTC, EOS, BNB, these coins are doing fine. You will only have problem if you invest in crap altcoins
Your post sounds like you have bipolar disorder (no offense). Your posts has so many (mood) swings lol.
Bitcoin is at loss? Start comparing the price from the early, instead of just comparing it with the price of 2017. The price was 20k for just few days. It was around 17k for just few weeks before it started to drop. It dropped down to 3k and look at the price now. It is around 7300 USD which is a lot. Just look at the price in long term instead of look at short term price.
What crap altcoins are you talking about?
3699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why YouTube Bans Bitcoin &Crypto Videos? on: December 27, 2019, 07:15:21 PM
According to me; what’s are the possibilities-
1)   Crypto is being purge by Youtube.
2)   Attract by some kind of group intentionally.
3)   Attract from Scam Coins (Since good YouTubers telling the true story).
4)   Wrong YouTube Algorithm.
5)   Lots of Fake ICO, Crypto Exchange related videos on YouTube.

Guys, till now I am confused but I added all of my probabilities. End of the day, I am scared. Because, I have learned so many things by watching YouTube crypto videos. I can’t imagine a single day without watching my favorite’s cannel.

Whatever, now really want to know all of your opinion on this issue.

Highly likely their security is triggering some false positive alarm. Their algorithm is probably flagging those videos. Wasn't it few years ago that youtube and google starting banning all ICO and crypto related stuffs? Even facebook if I am not wrong. But they ending reversing everything. Or they have actually updated their policy, thus removing all videos. Lets see what happens after few days.
3700  Economy / Economics / Re: Coming Changes Bitcoin will be backing USA dollars on: December 27, 2019, 08:30:17 AM
The gold will crash and Bitcoin will be backing Up USA dollars so USA dollar will be tokenized and each USA dollar will be backed by bitcoins.

The Bitcoin was made to be new age gold so Bitcoin never meant to be money!

Its Coming 2020 and yes that will be happening

US dollars are not backed by gold, silver or any precious metals. It used to be backed ages ago. So, I don't think they if gold crashes, bitcoin will be backing US dollars. It is never going to happen. If needed, the government will make their own regulated crypto currency, making financial restrictions more strict then ever.
Bitcoin was never meant to be the "new age gold". It was meant to be the perfect medium of transaction. You are wrong over here.
