3681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] JOSHUA vs USYK on: October 01, 2021, 06:26:50 AM
This Fury fight against Wilder is going to be nerve wracking, I just have a feeling there's a potential banana skin here for Fury, he can't be caught napping otherwise he'll be literally napping on the canvas. I don't think it's going to go like round two vs Wilder, I actually think it'll be slightly more competitive like the first bout, though I personally had Fury winning that despite the late knock down.

Wilder is hell bent of bouncing back and avenging his lost, so for sure it will be very close as the first time. But Fury adjusted in the second fight and no more going to the judges score card. So it's time for Wilder to readjust and see if he can hit Fury with his straight right. So still very interesting and it might be close as well.

Wilder will have to let go of his emotions first before he will be able to put up a fight against Fury the way he did the first time they met. Their first match was the perfect opportunity for Wilder. And he failed it. This third match is now easier on the part of Fury. Wilder is emotionally and psychologically beaten. I hope he's already gone past his excuses and emotional breakdown and start coming out as a fresh fighter. He'll have a chance this way.

But I'm still predicting a Fury vs Usyk fight in the months to come.

Fury versus Usyk? I assume Anthony Joshua has lost? I did not follow anything about this fight and I have never read anything about the outcome of this until I read your post. In any case, Joshua showed some weaknesses versus Ruiz who he underestimated, I speculate he also underestimated Usyk or the British mafia is threatening him hehehe. This is a very strange inconsistency of performance for a very good boxer like him.

Joshua lost already, Usyk did a good job, being the technical boxer and it seems that Joshua has a problem with fighter who move a lot and can box a lot. I also don't think that he underestimate Usyk, just a bad strategy by him and his trainer. And then they don't have any plan how to counter Usyk. If there is a British boxing mafia involved, it should be the other way around, Joshua should win in the judges score card, but that will be obvious. So yeah, why not Fury versus Usyk, but Joshua uses his rematch clause so it will be Usyk vs Joshua first and maybe the winner will face Fury for the unification.

Why would it be the other way around? Rigged fights always go against the expectations of the bettors and the fans. This is why the mafia tell the fighters who are the favorites to win fights to lose on purpose and pay them.

In any case, if there is a rematch, I would bet Joshua. This might only be another Ruiz moment, I reckon.
3682  Bitcoin / Press / [2021-10-01] Bitmain’s Jihan Wu discusses ‘next phase of growth’ post China on: October 01, 2021, 05:10:38 AM
Do not be angry. I know many bitcoin maximalists hate Jihan Wu because of his support for the hard fork to big blocks. However, his thoughts on the cryptospace and the future should always be held into consideration. He is one of the pioneers that helped the growth of bitcoin.

However, on the subject of miners, entrepreneurs, and crypto traders leaving China, Wu noted that there was a group of people who might stay in crypto, even in China. He said,

“…(in a) very short time, the China retail investors will disappear…they will all retreat from crypto and only those high net-worth Chinese families will stay in crypto.”

In spite of recent events, Wu seemed optimistic about what the coming year would bring. To prove his points, he spoke about the stable token exchanges on Ethereum spreading liquidity, as well as “trust-building machines” in GameFi and cloud mining.

More than just price performance, Wu also opined that crypto start-ups would begin to have a greater impact on the “real world.”

3684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: September 30, 2021, 05:43:59 AM
Over 10.5 rounds is presently only 1.44 from 1.48 in Nitrogensports, however, Terence Crawford’s last 6 fights ended in technical knockout or knockout. Under 10.5 is 2.63. From Porter’s forward attack tactics, can anyone say that Crawford might be given many chances to knockout Porter?

Also, from reading this article, it appears that Shawn Porter might only be good versus boxers who are not Terence Crawford or Errol Spence hehe.

Over the next seven years, Porter continued fighting the welterweight elite, becoming a two-time world champion in 2018 when he toppled Danny Garcia to win the WBC welterweight title. He defended that title against future Manny Pacquiao conqueror Yordenis Ugas before taking Errol Spence Jr. to the limit in a September 2019 title unification tilt. After dropping a split decision to Spence, Porter regrouped with a one-sided decision over Sebastian Formella in August 2020 to set up the Crawford showdown.

@suchmoon. Thank you for the offer but I have already I added Tim Patrick of Denver. He was the first name in the list that was familiar to me hehe. Stephen A. Smith said he will be performing much better versus Baltimore. I expect to earn double digits from him.

3686  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-09-15] SEC Chief Reiterates Call for Cryptocurrency Regulation on: September 30, 2021, 02:56:18 AM
Why is there much people in the community who support regulation? Is this because this is what they speculate that might cause the next pump? This is clearly very foolish.

I just see centralised exchanges as the weak link in the chain.  Custodial banking is essentially a bad habit which we need to unlearn.  Custodial exchanges are just a continuation of that bad habit.  So, if regulation is going to exist somewhere (and it's naive to believe you can simply wish it out of existence),  then I'd rather see it focused on the custodian middlemen where it belongs.  It's a pragmatic approach.

However, this is the problem. There is misconception that regulations will only be regulations without disrupting the crypto infrastructure. Regulations would begin to declare many tokens and coins as securities and this would require registrations, licenses and to follow decades of old regulations under the SEC.

What would happen to the cryptospace under these decades old regulations? Under these regulations, the SEC would require professional brokers to buy and sell for clients, custodians and reports for transparency. Every advantage of the cryptospace reduced to nothing because the community wanted regulations.

It's the wire day again!!! Don't forget to make your picks so that I can't have anything I want again  Grin

I almost feel bad for the psychos, almost.  The third highest score in the league this week isn't good enough for the win.

On the bright side, I squeaked out a win with the second lowest score, which now that I think of it was very lucky. I should probably stop bitching about the wire.

Does this make me the lowest score of the week? Help me choose a player. I need 2 wide receivers hehe. Also, the Patriots vs. the Buccaneers on the next game week. Can Tampa Bay cover -6.5?

This below might also be a good investment opportunity during the next bear market when they are cheap to sell to newbies of the next bull market hehehehe.

Dapper Labs, a creator of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the Flow blockchain, has reached a deal with the NFL to create an NBA Top Shot-style marketplace for digital football collectibles, according to a report by Sports Business Journal.

Sources told the publication that the deal makes Dapper Labs the NFL Players Association’s second-largest source of digital licensing revenue behind EA Sports’ “Madden” video game franchise.

3688  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have become cautious on the market on: September 29, 2021, 05:20:07 AM
@Reatim. Yes Elon. He can affect the price negatively if Tesla sells all $1.5 billion of their bitcoins or an announcement of this might also cause traders to dump in fear.

Also do you know Cathie Wood? She predicted that 1 bitcoin will be worth $500,000 within 5 years. She also said that her fund’s target for Tesla is $3000. However, she has dumped her fund’s Tesla shares. I speculate she is another character who could also dump bitcoin before 2022.
3689  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will the exchange cancel all Chinese users? on: September 29, 2021, 01:48:09 AM
Following the announcement of the Chinese government to ban Bitcoin;
Huobi.com has issued the most tragic announcement to clear all Chinese users.
Will Binance and OKcoin issue the same notification next?
So will it be followed by the cruelest process of suppressing the price of Bitcoin?

Binance has claimed and announced that they are already not accepting users from mainland China. However, this is a lie, according to this news hehe. It appears every Chinese is afraid to do wrong against the Chinese Communist Party. They can make people disappear for years and have also taken hostages of people from other countries. Canada is the latest hostage taking where it took 2 Canadian businessmen to make a deal with Canada to release the CIO of Huawei.

Crypto giant Binance has claimed it operates “no exchange business” in China, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

As relayed by Chinese journalist Colin Wu, Binance made the curious statement to local media Blockchain Daily in response to Beijing’s most-recent labelling of all crypto transactions in the country illegal.

China’s drastic clampdown is this year’s most severe step yet, as the government wages a war on digital currencies under the guise of environmental protection.
3690  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have become cautious on the market on: September 29, 2021, 12:49:32 AM
What would be the cause to make the market perform worse than it presently is? Would it be the rejections of all the ETF for bitcoin on October? I speculate something very worse. What if Elon Musk announces that Tesla would be dumping all the coins Tesla holds to clear their balance sheet of bitcoin?
3691  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have become cautious on the market on: September 28, 2021, 06:03:52 AM
@SquallLeonhart. I was wrong. There might be up to 30 pending applications for an ETF for bitcoin. On being the optimistic me, there should be at least 1 of them to get approval hehehe.

Also, reading news articles like this causes me to speculate that the market is not entering the bear market and it might begin to pump for October hehehehe.

Famous author and investor Robert Kiyosaki has predicted that a “giant stock market crash” is coming in October, noting that gold, silver, and bitcoin may crash as well.

Rich Dad Poor Dad is a 1997 book co-authored by Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It has been on the New York Times Best Seller List for over six years. More than 32 million copies of the book have been sold in over 51 languages across more than 109 countries.

@hugeblack. It might or it might not, however, it is always safer to be cautious. Binance has also begun to leave Singapore. It appears that they are leaving jurisdictions where they do not have much users hehe. However, it might be harder for them to leave openly those jurisdictions where they earn much of their revenue.

Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange, is about to introduce severe restrictions on its offering to users in Singapore.

As of Oct. 26, users will not be able to access fiat deposit services or spot trading of crypto, buy crypto through fiat channels or “liquid swap,” Binance announced Monday. On Binance, a liquid swap means the ability to trade instantly and pool tokens to earn rewards.

This is regular FUD, don't fall for it. These news are 3 weeks old already.

https://twitter.com/bigmagicdao/status/1441328777393426433?s=21
Can this really be fud mate? its everywhere on the internet  ,tv, radio you name it and top media houses like Bloomberg, Aljazera, BBC and many others are all running this news headline of crypto being banned almost completely. If this turns out to be FUD then journalists aren't doing enough investigative work to try and sieve out any fake news and report what is true or not, but then again fake news kind of gives them the numbers they want so market price might be collateral damage.

Agreed. Molly is only another bitcoin larper who only wants your engagement on social media. Everything of her news reports are biased towards bitcoin because she is a holder. She cannot be trusted as a journalist.

China has been banning everything connected to the cryptospace. It has also begun to block popular websites like coinmarketcap.com, coingecko.com and also tradingview.com. Also, Bobby Lee who was the owner of one of the cryptospace’s oldest exchanges said that crypto OTC desks will also be banned.

I had Trey Sermon, however, I dropped him after week 2. He presently appears to be the main target for rushing the ball and appears to be very good. He has the talent but he was not given the opportunity on week 1 and week 2? I might add him back in my team hehe.
3697  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: According to leaked documents walletexplorer.com is a honeypot on: September 27, 2021, 01:47:06 AM
However, after knowing that Chainalysis owns walletexplorer.com, did anyone suspect of anything that they are collecting visitors’ information to disclose them to the government?

I doubt they disclose visitor's data, unless government explicitly asked for it. It's more likely they use visitor's data as additional information to track someone or coin.

They certainly sell it or have a government contract for their data and services. This is simply business for them and the more they produce, it will certainly be more profitable. Also this is nothing. Wait for regulations on the cryptospace hehehe. I speculate many sanctioned public addresses and more questions on bitcoin’s fungibility. I would also expect pumps from anonymous coins.

@suchmoon. In my short experience, I reckon 9 points is very easy in this game.

I any case, who wants a wide receiver? i want to trade A.J. Brown for another wide receiver. He might be useful on your bench or later in the season. I need someone who can score some points weekly.

Let's see if the Rams can stop Brady and the Bucs, should be a good one!

They're doing a damn fine job so far... I should have started Stafford. Oh well. My match with bbc.reporter is painful to watch, incredibly low scoring.

You will win this with 2 players Ceedee Lamb and George left to play for your team. It is very surprising for me that I am presently leading our match up hehehe.

@morvillz7z. Thank you! I will check those sites this week.

@Hueristic. Everyone was using that plugin from the beginning? I am using ESPN’s app for ipad.I will try chrome later hehe.

According to Glassnode, the whales have been buying and accumulating bitcoins since July. The secret reason why I have become bullish on bitcoin is because I was speculating that those whales might have information that at least 1 of 5 ETF applications for bitcoin will be approved on October. However, it is very difficult to be always optimistic if bitcoin dumps every week for 3 weeks hehe.
