3681  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sending BTC as a gift to someone who doesn't have a wallet on: August 07, 2020, 03:58:39 PM
Hi.

I'm going to purchase some satoshis as a gift for my friend, and will have to email them to her.

To make it look more like a gift, I'm thinking maybe transferring the sats to a paper wallet from https://www.bitaddress.org/, and just send her the paper wallet as attachment to the email.

Is this the best way to give sats to someone, or are there better ways to do that?

Its not the best idea to send someone BTC as gift when the other person do not know about it. Even if you make her a wallet and give her private keys etc, she might know the importance of private keys and may not keep them save. If you send paper wallet to her email, she may forward it someone to share with her friends etc. I think you should give her other gifts until she has good know how of bitcoins.

2 Vouch Copies Still Left.

Now everyone can use free numbers from the site also, isn't ?

Hope you like the new daily wagering contest!
https://wixiplay.io

prize should increase Smiley

This is the one that makes me so curious, why the prize of the wagering contest dropped down signficantly after they changed the provably fair system?. They offered huge prize when they were popular with their fake provably fair system but now the prize is so small amount. Makes me think that there were many fake accounts and fake winners in the past to attract real players.
We changed it because we wanted to bring something new.
We may update it again.

This is not a satisfying answer. With the provably fair system update a significant decrease in price means that you people had been doing a lot of scam earlier with a wrong pf system in place  Sad

Things like these creates more doubts in the mind. At least you should do everything with a proper reasoning.
3684  Other / Meta / Re: Defi section? on: August 02, 2020, 09:27:16 AM
Do we have some section in forum for Defi projects and new tokens listings?
I looked in all forum and can't find it.

It will be great to have a DeFi section but admins are probably waiting to see if the DeFi hype doesn't fade away. Or they might be planning to do that already. Creating forum for new token listings though can be alittle all over the place but i guess it's still a good idea

This is a nice opinion and i thin the admins should consider creating a section for it. Also we might conscider if it is necessary because other sectors in cryptocurrencies has not gotten any forum here. the Defi era as we are experiencing might not last long. so much to consider before creating it here.

Three newbies demanding and suggesting for the defi section which is quite surprising.
I understand few people will become millionaire from this new defi scheme but many will again have to lose their money in this new hype.  Sad
3685  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: August 02, 2020, 05:07:55 AM
I have an idea to keep people re-visiting the site on a regular basis... because we know referrals only stick around for a few weeks and then you lose them completely.

What if Freebitco.in introduce some kind of reward program for active users on their Birthday (The date in the year when your account was created) So every year the rewards increase, if you stay active... (login at least once a week or regular wagering during every week)

Say $10 in year 1 and then $20 in year 2 .......... (if you miss one week, you get nothing for that year) What do you think... will something like this work?

I think that a rewards program is indeed a good idea to keep people motivated to visit again and again the website. But I would set it up in different way.

I would set up a system with achievements and for every achievement you make, you could earn reward points. Maybe something similar like Coinpot is doing with their system.

The reward points will also keep the people engaged in the site and they will always be returning to the site to claim the reward points which later can be redeem.  This is a perfect strategy to keep the uses stick to the site. Lets see if they introduce anything like that in the near future.
3686  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Lesson] How to Correct Move Topic on: August 01, 2020, 01:29:24 PM

Logical reason is to avoid scammers convert from non-self-moderated threads to self-moderated ones when their scam threads are detected by community. Then the conversion will help scammers easily to silent the community by deleting proofs in other posts.

Forget to choose self-moderated option? Solution is there: Move it to archival, rename the thread, and create a new thread with self-moderated option (only helpful in first minute or hours after you create threads).

Clever scammers will create the self-moderated thread from the beginning ?  wouldn't they ? We cannot stop them in the first place.

Also this does not means if anyone create self-moderated thread for a service / ANN , then his motive behind is to scam.
3687  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Lesson] How to Correct Move Topic on: August 01, 2020, 11:27:25 AM
When people create a new topic, there is an important hidden option: Self-moderated. They have to choose the option at beginnings because creators can not choose this option later (if not choose at beginning). In the other words, it is a sort of one-way process.

Sometimes after creating the topic, one feels he should have created it a self-moderated one or at other times one intend to create a self-moderated topic but forgets to click on Self-moderated option. I always wonder why there is no option to convert to self-moderated later.
Any logical reason for this ?
3688  Economy / Services / Re: $3 per month 🔥VOIP Phone Number 🔥 For SMS Verification on: August 01, 2020, 06:50:58 AM
Yes, messages can be deleted by you.
Currently we are working on dashboard from where you can view messages along with option to delete each sms.

To further enhance the security, number will be assigned to your account. You will have to login in order to view/delete messages.

Yes, that option will further make it easy to manage and more secure.

i want direct dialing numbrs for u.s.a which can be forwarded to my sip address ..
Currently we are providing only sms support. As these number are semi-voip these number can bypass lot of website that don't allow voip phone number for verification.
We will soon be releasing feature to forward calls.

I can see that you have increased your rates from $3 to $4 ?  Any specific reason for this ?
3689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you agree with the experts? on: August 01, 2020, 06:14:02 AM
corona has affected  the economics globally  but has also dampened the growth of crypto-currencies. Until the dreadful disease get wholly wiped off, it is not possible to see any improvement in the crypto market.

Various experts are constantly monitoring the market and saying this. I agree with them.

What do you think about this? Do you also monitor the market?
They are wrong, do not believe every words coming from crypto experts, I believe crypto is doing well today because of how strong it stood in pandemic period, many thought it's the end for crypto, many said crypto is a bubble that will burst in pandemic period but look how far we've come now, Bitcoin is now 11,300$

If you monitored closely, the bitcoin did not fall much in the pandemic and remain stable between 9000-10000$ for most of the time. Now bitcoin has cleared the big resistance of 10K and looking more bullish. I will say that crypto (more precisely bitcoin) will always be a safe heaven in economic crisis and pandemic situation.
3690  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Tip]: Anti-Phishing Apps or extensions on: August 01, 2020, 05:07:51 AM
Quite interesting with some of the applications and ant-phishing extensions that you find. But the choice of anti-phishing applications and extensions such as this also has the risk of getting a similar fake application. There are several cloning applications that are created to spread phishing addresses. want to be safer, but instead become a victim of phishing.

Actually now websites like Mozilla and Chrome already have default warnings about suspicious websites that will threaten your device. But if you really want to use a third-party application or extension, you must choose the right and original application. make sure the application or extension is recommended.

Sometime we decide to download anti-phishing apps and extension with an intention to save ourselves from phishing but we accidently download the clone apps and become victim of phishing. Therefor I do not recommend downloading extensions or apps to prevent phishing , rather we should be careful in trying the website address and manually check if we have landed on the right site/page.
3691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ponzi Schemes for dummies on: August 01, 2020, 04:54:55 AM
Thanks for this wonderful post.

The two most common Ponzi scheme that I have seen is investment based pyramid scheme and MLM based cryptocurrency scheme. Both these will offer higher returns on amount invested.

It is better to stay away from such scheme if you want to protect your investment.

There are many ponzi schemes which are fooling the newbies and i like your attempt to write a detailed description about them.
Another ponzi scheme is the matrix like zarfund which was very popular few years back. That was sort of MLM and it only gave benefits to the owner or who joined on top the the matrix level.

Despite the fact that these Ponzi schemes have been described many times, the number of newcomers who have lost their money is not decreasing. This can only be explained by the fact that most people only learn from their mistakes, and do not read the thread dedicated to this type of scam here.

The fact is that most people do not take it seriously unless they become victim themselves. There is no point learning after you lose your money in ponzi schemes. Its better to learn before because you will come across many ponzi schemes on daily basis advertised on social media. It's difficult to stay away from them because they have so much attraction in them.
3692  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️CASINEOS.COM | Blockchain Powered Betting | Crypto Casino and Sportsbook🥊🏀🎲 on: August 01, 2020, 04:19:30 AM
The fees already changed and it went down to a minimum of .00001 BTC.
Are you sure about this, dude? I believe you are merely misunderstood here or probably another typo? I have checked the fees recently and it still around 60k satoshi. AFAIK .00001 BTC is the minimum amount of withdrawal.

Yes thats the minimum withdrawal but the fee was once 0.001

So far its reduced and I think its fairly small fee already. But still worth $6 with the current price.
The last time I check its 0.001BTC and they have no option to withdraw the altcoin of your choice which isn't what other casinos did. If a user wants to withdraw EOS or other coins I think its should be allowed for withdrawal.

I just checked now and found the fee to be 0.00071748 BTC which is still a bit high. But Casineos is not to be blame for this because overall i have experienced increase in network fee on blockchain. This always happens when bitcoin price is on a rise.

3693  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake 3 Out Now!!! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: August 01, 2020, 04:05:47 AM
Another weekend means another party for most Stake's players. Many chances to win some money during the megarace. First is obviously the weekly coupon, second is the race itself, third is the giveaway on the Eddie's live stream and last is the Mega Telegram Challenge. As usual I'll just waiting for the weekly coupon then play during the race but wont compete with other for the prize of the race Smiley

I will probably try to look to get a giveaway on the Eddie's live stream. I never experienced it before. Although i tried race earlier but did not succeeded.

However this time due to lack of money, i won't be participating in any race competition.

I know you know. And you don't do anything about it.

Are you out of your mind ?  Cheesy-

The FBI will deal with this issue

Will wait and see FBI response on this  Wink

3695  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♠️CASINEOS.COM | Blockchain Powered Betting | Crypto Casino and Sportsbook🥊🏀🎲 on: July 31, 2020, 06:18:09 AM

That's why they using fee by a network to make the transaction so you can get your balance immediately ratter waiting the transaction getting confirmation because stuck. Just keep in mid of your self, if the casino accepted other altcoin and your balance only 10$ use other cryptos accept bitcoin.

I as my self doing a gamble with hundred dollars, paying 5-10$ for my winning nothing problem at all as long get the balance quickly.  Maybe in the future casino team, decide to put a setup fee by the user itself. So, he will know the transaction can be stuck a few day if he put the lowest fee and could be blame the casino just because doesn't want spent more money for transaction ~LOL

Chaw.

Since I have heard you twice saying that your fee are high because you want people get their withdrawals quickly. That's good approach in one way but does this mean that your withdrawals are automatically processed and not manually to save more time ?
3696  Other / Meta / Re: An unfair treatment of Bitcointalk moderators on: July 31, 2020, 06:12:57 AM
Mistakes are common in this life, and we all make mistakes at one point or the other in our lives. I am writing this on behalf of my friend who has opened up to like 4 accounts and all has been banned, he even paid for like 2 of them for upgrade. Yet it was blocked at the slightest error. It is now safe to conclude that the admins of this forum want to make this a money making venture, looking for every excuse to ban people without a fair warning.
He told me the post that was claimed to have been erred has been deleted, isn't that enough punishment? Then the account got banned permanently, up to 4 accounts, there's no hope when one appeals, i am appealing to the moderator responsible to please unban my friends account @da_primate(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=947001;sa=summary).

He promised to abide by the rules of the forum to the letters going forward.

The way you are appealing so desperately, it seems you are another alt account of those whom accounts are banned and friend is only a drama here.

Yes, we are treated very unfairly. Your friend should probably read the rules if he keeps getting banned. It looks like that account was banned for copy and pasting at least:

People need to understand that plagiarism is not a simple mistake, its a crime.
3697  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ BTCGOSU ★ Your Trusted Guide to the Best Bitcoin Casinos ★ on: July 30, 2020, 01:56:09 PM
I will try my best to create an extensive guide featuring all important aspects - I may even go for several posts instead of one super long post, will see.
I'm sure that makes sense, yes. I personally can't manage to read long blog posts in a row without something else distracting me (e.g. bitcointalk Wink ). So I find shorter blog posts that link to each other much more pleasant to read, especially if you split them up thematically.

How a post is written matter the most. If the guide is written with proper heading, bullet points and in a way which creates interest for a the reader, then even reading a longer guide is not much of a hassle.  The guide should be comprehensive regardless of the size of it.

This is the donation address of the forum: 17RTTUAiiPqUTKtEggJPec8RxLMi2n9EZ9

It right now has 1,7M$. If you check the recent transactions, there are people that send huge amounts. How is that happening?? Do admin(s) use it instead of donating?

I tired to open this blockchair link to see the transactions and see what i got  Roll Eyes

Anyways, there are many generous people around the world who can donate to anyone whom they like. You and me have no rights to ask "How this is happening"
