3681  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best way to sell in 2021 — to buy more on the bear on: February 08, 2021, 04:36:03 AM
Hello there,

I'm considering cashing some BTC to fiat to buy more BTC after the bull (I'm targeting to buy again at USD 15~16k).
What it is the best way in your opinion to cash Bitcoins in 2021?

Thank you!
Actually, you sell your Bitcoin now but talking about buying back at $15-16k, you will gonna wait for that long as I can imagine.
Tried to see the market chart, there is no such a huge possibility that we drop into that price after this. Might chances that it drops at $30k which is still a good price to buy, we are heading to $50k and a chance as well to double your money.
I just giving you some insights, yet can be wrong or right but of course, you need to think about it because of making decisions. I'll be giving you some time to think about it.
3682  Economy / Speculation / Re: HOW LONG WILL THIS BULL RUN LAST ? on: February 08, 2021, 04:08:46 AM
I can say that no one can really know how long the bullish trend to stay. The bullish trend in crypto coins already happened for few months. And people assume that the bullish trend to happen till the end of this year. I don't know if it really happens or not, and I am not sure about the accuracy of people's predictions. However, if we look at the current crypto market situation, it has a chance to really happens.
I don't think there is a need to think about when it stops, when is bearish, and when is Bullrun. I know people will never stop asking this for no good reason, in fact, they can enjoy the bullish.
Just like you said, we can't predict what will happen next. This lives forever and it doesn't bother me anyway if the market turns to bearish after these highs or stays the same. What I wanted to see is that we are near to fully crypto adaptation and these institutional investors helping us to make the realization that Bitcoin is a currency, not only as an investment.
3683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fees are sky high on: February 07, 2021, 11:45:49 PM
I have about 35$ that I'd like to buy BCH with, but with the transaction fees, I can barely get 8$ out of those 35$. Anyone know a way to buy BCH on blockchain directly from your BTC balance? Also, Could I maybe set a low low fee and use transaction accelerator to push it through?
With 35 $ in BCH and withdrawals will be very high.  So I can suggest, 35 $ option to buy TRX, XRP, DOGE ... these are good trend coins, low conversion fee.  Go to the current good quality DEX like UNiswap, Justswap and hash it for BCH when you want.  By this method, you will get a cheaper price Smiley)
XRP has small fees which is the best option but the problem is if that is available to the exchange that OP has used because we know that some exchangers are delisting XRP coin.
Anyway, what we got from $35? The honest this is that it very small amount to start investing crypto especially during this that fees are considerably high. You have nothing left on us if we only have $35 on our hand.
What I can suggest to OP is that you add some more. $100 is might be enough...
3684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long, Short or Hodl for LTC? on: February 07, 2021, 03:13:44 PM
LTC price is mooning along with other altcoins.

Can you give me some of your TA for LTC?
It shows a gaining price, this will simply mean that it moving high compared to its status this time. Bitcoin moves high, altcoins will be doing good as well as a follower. But of course, we still need to check the market first, don't rush, that would be the best thing to do.
If you have some LTC now, just hold it for a while as it is possibly be hitting its ATH once again just like ETH. LTC is one of the leading altcoins, can't ignore the chances that it can yield more profit if you are investing it earlier.
3685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim - February 27 on: February 07, 2021, 12:18:50 PM
But if you are aiming for the huge price and deal with risks then go bet on Avni so that your betting will be much worth it, we don't know what if Avni wins. Avni's long rest or break in boxing world will really become a huge factor in this match up, while Canelo is being consistent with his career and he is really focus in defeating his future opponents.
Canelo Alvarez fights at a different level altogether and i wont risk a penny to bet in the match against Canelo Alvarez, i am yet to watch the fights of Avni Yildirim to see how he fights and how he will counter the heavy punches to understand how long he can last so that i can predict how many rounds he can face Canelo Alvarez Cheesy.

My prediction is Canelo Alvarez and i need to do some research before placing the final bet.
Ohh, of course, you will. But I have no doubt to put my bet on Canelo, he is my favorite boxer at this fight.
I could see this not an easy fight for Canelo. Though Canelo got older now, I believe he still has the power punch that could knock out his opponent (Avni). But the question is how long they could finish Avni coz he is strong also and could really face heavy punchers. And also Canelo can never be in early celebration...lol
3686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 07, 2021, 11:52:48 AM

Let us not anymore of the alibis because it's Mayweather now who are vocal of fighting Manny Pacquiao.
This could possibly give them an easy $100 million paycheck because Fury vs Joshua fight guarantees that to fighters, so it's always possible with May-Pac 2 as although Mayweather is retired and beat Manny in their fight, people will still be interested to see if Manny really have a chance to beat Mayweather.

Well, I love to see this happen in the past Mayweather keeps alluding to Pacquiao, making so many excuses, it will be the best fight we can possible for both fighters, one proving that he is injured that is why he loses, another one proving that his win is not a fluke or because of the injury.

So if it is really Mayweather calling this second match, he should not be so choosy with the purse here. Pacquiao has no problem when it comes to purse split but it is Mayweather who is so demanding when it comes to money matters. Hopefully, if this will push thru, they will really give a good fight inside the ring. No running, but real battle inside the ring..

Mayweather will not take the fight if he is under valued that's why I think they should discuss that matters since if Pacquaio want this fight to happen also he will not car about how much he will get. But I guess the compensation will be the same as before and the only one Pacquaio camp waiting is the confirmation of Mayweather to make this fight happen.
That is how he got into the business. All he can do is to challenge not known boxer for this money heist and give his opponent a good offer just to attract like fighting in real.
Ain't Mayweather is known to boxing hard puncher boxers but is great dealing with youngsters who are sure can't beat him. He's not making any acceptance to Pacquaio rematch as he knows that he can possibly lose for this. He's smart, he'll never do that unless making some good money.
3687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH made me very Angry today on: February 06, 2021, 11:32:44 PM
Always remember to check the network and the gas fee when you are about to make a transfer, just check ethgasstation and set your gas fee to the average at that time, or if you think it's too expensive then you can wait. This has been a problem everytime the network congested / eth hit all time high. Even right now sending eth will cost you $4-5 per transaction and ofcourse other token will cost more than that. I hope they will find a way to solve this because as it's right now then it's not suitable for mass adoption.
I believe that OP isn't new to this, so he is aware of the fees but the situation got burn out and it needs more fees to confirm the transactions which are probably become unnoticed.
What happens is really disappointing but we can't blame others even Vitalik because the fees are not manipulated nor it was controlled by someone else. At this time while the fees are growing high so fast, my advice is to set the fee to its suggested price. This is I usually do to avoid such error or cancellation.
3688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When This Scam Will stop?? on: February 06, 2021, 11:10:01 PM
Every day there is so many coins launched in the market but they didn't even know about this forum.

This is true. I often get to see newly listed tokens on social media that I never saw advertised or promoted here before thei listing. Most of those projects are good and doing well too and that  makes me think why their teams or developers never came here. Is it that they do not know about this forum despite it been this big or there is something else preventing them?
I have noticed that too, and they lucky to be successful compared to those project that has been promoted in the forum.
It is maybe they don't see the forum as a helping tool or place to help spread their project. And we can't deny that social media platforms are widely used by the people and by using them, they can easily spread their project and get the benefits without huge expenses of advertising unlike if they run through bounty campaign.
3689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptos are coming to physical Slot Machines - IGT received the patent! on: February 05, 2021, 11:12:13 PM
...
This is great news for gamblers in the crypto community...
Depositing an account via cryptocurrency is much easier nowadays, thanks to the open mind of casino businessmen who are no longer afraid of accepting cryptocurrency at their place even though there is no permission from the government.
This means that we are gradually developing for a more comfortable trading life than bringing cash to the table. And we can't deny that gambling institutions are the leading crypto adopters, and we have seen that the number of gamblers now is growing because of this.
It is too much expectation that this machine will be propagated to other countries and spreading more. And this will give the opportunity for offline casinos to finally on the move towards accepting crypto in the future.
3690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are you according to Glassnode classification? on: February 04, 2021, 11:54:22 PM
Currently still a shrimp. I always think of what could have been. Due to circumstances I was not able to invest as early as I would have liked. I could have at least been a crab or maybe even an octopus if I had had better fortune.
If I'm gonna say I'm a whale, I'm sure nobody will believe this as most replies here are shrimp. But it was just an ambitious dream, proud to be a shrimp. lol
It is a long way to go with that level, I'm not sure also if that achieves or not.
Anyway, I was enjoying being at the low level which I'd never have worries about hacking as I was holding almost nothing.
3691  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Maganda bang FUTURE ang Cryptocurrency kung si JOE BIDEN ang mananalo on: February 04, 2021, 11:28:06 PM
I think it’s too early to say if susuporta ba si Biden sa cryptocurrency kasi kaka-upo pa lang nya as the President of the U.S.

https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/01/26/president-bidens-financial-team-will-clarify-bitco/

Pero, I believe na si Biden ay susuporta dahil sa mga nakikita niyang supporta galing din sa mga tao. That only if, he is fair enough sa kanayang mga nasasakupan. Ang resulta sa kanilang usapin tungkol dito ay may malaki talaganag epekto sa takbo ng crypto sa buong mundo. But I was hoping positive about this.

3692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: February 04, 2021, 08:21:36 AM
because xrp is still traded and it means that there will always be buying and selling, if it is no longer traded, xrp will die.
the bad news regarding sec is only temporary fud and now the news has disappeared and has been clarified.
the market will always have its own way of doing it.
I don't see any announcement that XRP has been cleared out from the SEC but it has to say that they were silent now and might the reason why people have the courage to invest and buy back again. They are in really good timing since the price is low, people can do bulk buying instead. The trading is still alive.
But for me, it didn't look like that, XRP still out of my consideration. If ever I have some XRP in the coming days, that could be just temporary and just passes by, I save it for the fees.
3693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly was the idea behind bitcoin? on: February 03, 2021, 10:51:51 PM
You have answered it already.
The purpose of having Bitcoin is to give you an alternative way of payment(cashless) and we are adopting it now. Many people will look that impossible and they'll think just a scam thing which is absolutely wrong and that also a reason why you don't have any from this because you might belong with them.
But if you believe and trust the idea of why satoshi brought this into the market and see big companies are investing this, you will find how potentially beneficial it was.
3694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your price expectations for 2021 on: February 02, 2021, 11:33:56 PM
What op has said, that's pretty good to read but in actual, hard to predict the accurate price of bitcoin.bitcoin near to touched the privious top.market is still bullish & expecting $36k for going to next high.after that, if bitcoin able to raise $40k then another milestone could be possible to happened even journey to $60k but maybe there would be short crash & correction then because btc has big company & institution's supprort.and thus the journey of bitcoin will be going on.so i assume, btc could raise at $60k ath for 2021, although higher isn't impassable
This is tough, I'm not seeing a bullish to continue this year but probably a curve direction to see.
Just to picture what happens after 2017 Bullrun, it dumps straight but I consider that the situation we have today is far different from it. I don't about history repeat itself coz there is nothing impossible in crypto but I don't think as well that we go dip below $10k.
We're too early to make this but much better to anticipate the possibilities than doing nothing.
3695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: recent negative statement against Bitcoin on: February 01, 2021, 10:26:30 PM
Obviously central bank officials will take an opposing position regarding Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, but that doesn't mean they can't change their mind in a flash. We've seen some precedents in the institutional world (eg. JP Morgan).
They are doing this before last 2017 Bullrun but somehow they still failed to make it.
They are doing this to create panic and those weakhands holders will sell in panic and made a decision to get back fiat again. I can't disclose such a scenario as we know that not all holders are strongly believing Bitcoin but some of them just got caught by attraction due to market surges and once they heard negative and FUD's, they are easily giving up.
3696  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another insane win!! $ 1B mega million jackpot on: February 01, 2021, 11:53:29 AM
Fudge that.... I will take the one-time cash payment of about $739 million and cut my link to the Lottery company. We do not know what will happen in the future and if the company would go bankrupt and then you do not get anything else for the 29 years that they signed a contract with you.  Roll Eyes

The interest on that $739 million over 29 years will more than make up for the $200+ million dollar that you would have to forfeit for that once off payment. That is a crazy amount of money for one person to win... I think it will be much better if there are 1000 people winning $1 000 000 each.  Tongue
Yes I rather cash out all those money in an instant, I have a doubt that someone who wins the jackpot chooses to leave their money in the company, so I think even they will put some tax or some deduction as long as it will not give me less than 50% I will accept that. I will diversify it and make it grow in different investments, I want to make my money double or have some interest in my own way so that there will be no doubts or I will not feel any regrets in the future.
If they will permit you to do a one-time withdrawal taking out all your money from them.
And having this money in our hand without any investment plan to put up, it surely be gone shortly unnoticed. If I have this amount of money, the same thing I do, I look into a potential passive investment that even l die, my family is safe enough for their future and they can live without stress where to find the money.
It is something we need not rush on our decision and before doing the celebration, we have to set first where the money it goes.
3697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Joseph Stahura avoids jail for all the campaign funds he used for gambling. on: February 01, 2021, 11:15:19 AM
Fair enough that he is enjoying wasting his money in gambling and received nothing but just a court call. He's so lucky he ain't got to jail but he is not lucky also for gambling. But the sad part is that he is ruining his name and reputation in the public, it sounds like I'm not going outside for this shameful act and abuse of authority.
I don't think he is saying right about the addiction because what he does is simply saying he got into such trouble. It is a sort of denial, what we saw is contrary to his gambling behavior.
3698  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit mayroon akong Bitcoin on: February 01, 2021, 10:14:29 AM
Exactly. Pero syempre, you're no different than using a bank pag custodial wallet gaya ng Coins.ph rin lang ang gamit mo para ihold majority ng funds mo. Grin I expect na today marami parin talagang Coins.ph ang ginagamit nilang main wallet. Unfortunately pahirapan talaga magkumbinse gumamit ng non-custodial wallet. 🤣
3699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The day I entered the bitcoin market.... on: February 01, 2021, 09:57:53 AM

Take a month to observe the market and you can spend a very small amount and get training. Wink
Yeah, we can make the whole thing be working in one day especially when you are not truly prepared. In fact, I learn about crypto not so long but it is a matter of time when we have the courage to take the risk and enjoy the moment in learning because it soon it will be fine and those who laugh us will be the one asking how it does.
It is just like we sometimes fueled by negative friends and relatives, and we work hard in order to prove to them that they were wrong not us.
And patience must have we work out in order to succeed otherwise, a big fall will be on our side.
3700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BEST GAMBLING MOVIES OF ALL TIME on: February 01, 2021, 06:27:44 AM
As a gambling fan, I am definitely looking for films that are related to gambling too. I have watched a lot of gambling movies.
Here are some lists that really impressed me after watching them.

West Movies
1. Ocean's Eleven (2001), Ocean's Twelve (2004), and Ocean's Thirteen (2007).
2. 21 (2008)
3. Casino Royale (2006)
4. Molly's Game (2017)
5. The Gambler (2014)

Asian Movies
1. Tazza - The High Rollers (2006),  Tazza - The Hidden Card (2014), and Tazza - One-Eyed Jack (2019).
2. Good of Gamblers (1989)
3. From Vegas To Macau (2014)

God of Gamblers movie is the only movie I saw in my life. That is an interesting movie, a known artist in the movie industry who roled as the God of Gamblers?
All we know about movies is not really close to what happens in actual gambling. Cards counting, a sort of magic, speed of hands...all of these seem impossible to do. And mostly what they have shown is all about cheating, I think this is the only way to win against the house.
