3681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria's SEC says central bank's crypto ban disrupted the market on: April 16, 2021, 11:22:53 PM
It's now causing them a worry that this will continue and who cares if they ban bitcoin if there's a peer to peer type of transaction? If that's what they want, crypto people of Nigeria can keep on going without even being charged by the banks but only has to pay the transaction fees that can be set to regular to priority or even lesser.

They have to embrace that crypto transactions are helping their economy and they should be in the favor of it instead of halting or being the hindrance of its growth to their nation.
3682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buying CEL with TrueUSD or BTC on: April 16, 2021, 06:53:59 PM
@OP. Take note of the warning from that page of markets of cel. There's a warning that says that they're not related to bilaxy exchange and they didn't list the token there.

Maybe you'll choose to get on that exchange although the volume is very little. But that's a good warning since you're going to buy cel just in case you won't choose tusd or btc and might end to use eth as its pair.
Bilaxy Exchange are certainly very suspicious. I have seen a number of scam accusation against them in the past. OP should be able to trade with decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, 1inch exchange or Bancor Network. At least I have ever used all of them.
Yes, much better to use those exchanges that you have mentioned that supports cel. And an announcement that came from the main team, shouldn't be ignored.

Haha. We can use any ERC20 token to be able to own CEL on Uniswap because they have enough liquidity. USDT or USDC is also an ERC20 token so that they can be exchanged automatically with the CEL. We just place an order and the exchange does the job for us. The only problem is that the transaction cost per transaction is about 40-60 $, which is quite expensive. If you are dealing with large amounts of money, the cost is not a big deal.
Can be exchanged on Bilaxy but has very high slippage. Furthermore, withdrawing money to your ERC20 wallet is charged a very high fee of around $ 50 (corresponding to the number of your tokens). Accordingly, the transaction option on UNISWAP is more optimal and brings high efficiency.
I get how the process works thanks and the fees would stop someone to do transactions because it's really high and no longer bearable. But as for the reminder and warning that's being shown, OP has to take note of it just in case.
3683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best Sport to bet on ? on: April 16, 2021, 05:53:42 PM
Boxing and basketball for me. I think this will really depend on your hobby and likes. I'm into those two sports because those are the sports that I've been watching since I was a kid and the other sports, I haven't watched them and that's why when I grew old I have no idea about the rules, players and other things that are related to it.

Does eSports count?
If op has a standard of contact sports then this isn't included. But this is also the other venue that I mostly follow all of the time too.
3684  Economy / Gambling / Re: online casino software on: April 16, 2021, 04:59:48 PM
They will literally make a casino for you, they're a company that develops casinos for those who are interested to start this business. But I see them lack of a few things.

1. I cannot see the feedback from their past customers if they had it already.

2. I thought that the "free consultation" button doesn't work because if you hover the mouse, it's indicating javascript but it works and will pop the chat box. But, it's better if you can remove that javascript word upon mouse hovering.
I see, so those who are interested to own a casino can consult them and they will provide you what you needed like license and other stuff. I'm sure you have to paid for it or maybe they will also be part of the casino. I haven't seen any feedbacks and the consultation button works the same here. I think op should made it clear in this thread and mention some advantages and disadvantages.
Yes, it's their business or what we call solutions providers that specialize in casino making. But no, they won't be part of the casino, they will make it for you and that's what the business works for them.

I haven't seen any feedback too from any of their customers that's why it's an important matter for those who are interested.
3685  Economy / Economics / Re: Struggles of being a freelancer in Bangladesh on: April 16, 2021, 12:14:30 PM
There really are struggles for most freelancers but it's sad that in certain regions, they're experiencing more than the struggle that we can think of.

These cards are meant for helping them get bank loans quickly and solve the identity crisis problem, but there are reports of incidents where these ID cards were not being valued at all.
The government should give caution to those establishments that don't deal fair with the freelancers who do or don't have the ID. But for the freelancing sector to grow and be more progressive, the government has to focus first in the infrastructures which is the most important thing for freelancers, internet.
3686  Economy / Gambling / Re: online casino software on: April 15, 2021, 11:34:07 PM
So, this is more like a customer support but in a different way since it is for gambling site owners that you wanted to help right?. I have opened your site and what I read is about helping casino owners to acquire a license or adding more content to a gambling site like adding more games and stuff?. What's the catch?.

Exactly, we see their winning side but we don't know how long they've been hitting those losses

Disregarding those gambling losses before they hit the jackpot, those experiences are telling us that there's always a chance to hit those high multipliers and not just casinos are only toying their customers. Chances are low but still, someone makes it.
Yes, there's always a chance for us to win such multipliers and also the jackpots. But I've given up with that hope and no longer thinking about winning such. Just a 2x or 3x would already be enough for me and would just happy to see someone that he's winning with such high multipliers.

The only problem is, only a few hits a jackpot like that. It now encourages small gamblers to gamble more because of those winning experiences they are seeing and resulting in a much being addicted.
Being encouraged while looking at others' victory hitting the jackpots but it's no excuse if they're becoming addicted. They should still stand on their own and control themselves that it only happens rarely and the chance of hitting it is very low.

3690  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet on: April 15, 2021, 07:26:19 PM
I had used my old mobile phone number when registering, which is no longer in use. I almost went to my provider to recover the number, so I could log in back in my account to retrieve my balance. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to not proceed, would have both my money and my time.

It's a shame, it was such a useful and entertaining service, faucets paid directly to your Xapo wallet and we were all happy.
Those were the old good days that I've seen with them when faucets are popular and everything was sent to their wallet directly.

yeahhh it was well know custodial wallet in 2016. many faucet wallet are using xapo hahaha.
back then there is no lightning network or something like that.

but now XAPO is nothing
They've started to lose popularity when other wallets have emerged and them instead of attracting more users with easy and friendly rules, they're giving pain to their users such as experiences stated on this thread.
3691  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet on: April 14, 2021, 11:03:49 PM
I'm not so sure about that, but they are generally bad business. I wouldn't deal with them and had severe communication issues. I'd avoid them at any cost.
They did before the age of known wallets today and exchanges. I think that was 4-5 years onwards, they're one of the most known wallet since there weren't that much of wallets for bitcoin before.

KYC isn't much of an issue but it's an awful move to ask for a ton of documentation only to block you shortly after.
Yes, it isn't an issue if you have no choice just to take your balance out from them but if the result isn't what you've expected and much worse, that really is frustrating.
3692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is there any good alternative to Bitgo Wallet? on: April 14, 2021, 10:02:19 PM
without significant investment,we cant hire someone to create own wallet.
I understand it now and that's your option as you're just starting out. But it's best for you to have your own developer instead of just renting out. Your own P2P exchange should run onto your own platform and you're the provider of your wallet.

It's not like that you're just going to avail a cloud service that would the thing for you. Well, that's just an opinion but hopefully you find your other option that will fit to your standards.

3693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lucky Winners of the Day - Random Pick on: April 14, 2021, 09:00:35 PM
Lucky win compared to other wins, because these bets weren't the whale bets. The bet values were very small and the multiplier is quite big and a possible one.
Those wins can really be said as lucky wins but compare to the first images that you have posted, they've won more than those. But considering that these bets are only $1 in LTC and ETH.

That's like a jackpot to me.
We do have that kind of impression on where small amount base bet and able to hit those high multipliers does really give out more thrill or tense on hitting up a jackpot
compared into those hits who does have thousands of dollars basebet but only hitting up a small multiplier. In general discussion if these guys are on the winning
side? then i highly doubt that because gamblers do always on the losing side.
Yeah, it rarely happen to me and that's why whenever somebody shares those wins with small/base bets, that's really impressive to me. Rare and probably didn't happened to me even once IIRC.

Exactly, we see their winning side but we don't know how long they've been hitting those losses and that's why if someone who's happily sharing this, we should also be happy for them because they may tell the success and winning story but behind that, there's more to it on the frustration of losing more before hitting those positive numbers.
3694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "COIN"- Coinbase IPO- Opens today- Thoughts? on: April 14, 2021, 08:03:43 PM
The estimates right now are that it will open at $340 per share.  So with that said, are you a buyer? Where do you think the price will end up at the close of today?
Nah, I'm not a buyer but I'm like those people who would love such as good news as this. The mainstream media are on it and it's also the day when bitcoin reached another all time high.

Regardless of how you feel about Coinbase ( I personally despise the company ), this is good news for bitcoin and a big reason behind the recent surge.  Should be fun!
Yes! It's another exposure for bitcoin as those stock investors have to research and learn that this company's business is pure into cryptocurrencies and with main crypto of all, bitcoin.
3695  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Looking for methods to earn at least 1$ hourly on: April 13, 2021, 11:36:36 PM
If you have some investment in crypto currency then please try staking. Staking is a way where you can earn money by just stake your coins and earn huge income on daily bases. The income through staking is depends on APY( Annual percentage yield). The APY is changing with time to time. But if you have invested your money in a good project then you can earn a handsome income on daily bases and then harvest this income. And you don't need to do anything in this way.
That's a false promise mate. Don't say that someone can earn huge with staking daily. I'm not against the idea of staking but when you're describing it quite exaggerated, you might give inaccurate information about it to the newbies.

It's a good diversification for those who want to earn passively by just staking. But don't get the idea of earning huge daily because the only way to earn huge with it is to have a huge balance or capital and there's an APY that will determine how much you can earn the whole year which will be divided into a daily amount in parts. Because if you say that someone can earn big daily on it, that sounds like an hyip.

3697  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the government hijack Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2021, 09:37:43 PM
Bitcoin is known as to be the biggest cryptocurrency. in some countries it can be used to purchase goods and services and some see cryptocurrency as a threat.
Not only in some countries but for every country where there are holders of it, we're all using it if it's needed for purchases that we want. It's for the application and contribution that we do because it's really made for that purpose.

if Bitcoin comes to be number one currency in the world today, can it  be hijack by the government?
They cannot, they can stop the exchanges but transactions will continue because it can be done through peer-to-peer transactions. It's useless if they will "hijack" bitcoin not unless there's an outlet that they will unplug the wire of internet connection to stop mining which will affect all of the transactions.
3698  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Xapo Wallet on: April 13, 2021, 08:35:30 PM
This wallet was very known several years ago and when there's not much of an issue about KYC.

ahhhh.... talking about XAPO. i just get new story about my friend's xapo. he have about 240k satoshi but also pass KYC in 2019.

yesterday he tried to withdraw all of his remaining satoshi from xapo.
and xapo still doesn't allow him to withdraw. WTF Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
In this case, if that's only 240k sats, they should spare it and allow that. What's with them and too hard to let go and give the person's own sats sitting on their wallet?
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best platform to store cryptocurrencies & altcoins in for passive income? on: April 13, 2021, 07:29:33 PM
I would still trust a hardware wallet which is Ledger that supports staking through their wallet. They've added DOT to the list and I think they'll keep adding more coins on their list as much as they can.

3700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance.com Fixed Staking USDT cannot be redeemed on: April 12, 2021, 10:48:33 PM
First of all, I think you shouldn't show any amount of balance from your portfolio and just blur out the total or remove it and just show the cumulative profit which is zero.

Please contact binance support for a valid answer.
There's not that much to do here @OP but to follow this suggestion. I hope it will be okay soon.
