3681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 20, 2020, 10:08:53 PM
Thart's pretty hard, and also impossible. Even with the implementation of KYC to major online gambling sites in the world, there's still many casino's and sports bookie's out there that doesn't require it. In fact they promote; anonymity due to some people unable to play online gambling because of the government laws in their country. That's why, i think it's impossible to prevent children from visiting these kind of sites.

Another reason is that if kids want to play as they have money and if they lose this will results some profits to the casinos so this opportunity no business owner would like to give up. And if KYC needs to be done then people may not be willing to share their information due to the trust factor.

Casino wants profit but they don't need money from minors, imagine how much minors can only afford to gamble, that's only a small slice of pie on the total amount they are making on a daily basis. So they gave a warning, it's up to gamblers to follow it or now, unfortunately, no one could verify if gamblers are minors or not since we are talking of online casinos here that offers anonymous gambling.

If there's a casino to regulate, that should be fiat casinos.
3682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 20, 2020, 11:45:52 AM
Luka Magic did it again and they've won against a defensive team like Clippers.
Their bench stepped up and KP didn't get ejected. If they will continue to play like this, there is a chance that the Battle of LA will not happen in the West Finals.
I'm expecting the Clippers to lose now, lol.. we might see an epic battle between the Blazers and Mavericks if both LA would lose in the first round.

Maybe the injury of Beverley affected their defense. We know how good he is at defense.
I agree with that, they put Jackson and he provide offense instead, so without Beverley, things will be the same, Mavericks will continue to attack as they also dominate the paint with KP's length and Bovan.

Good that I placed my bet against the Mavs because I'm expecting for them to win this time since they only lost by 8 points without KP in Game 1.
I'd go with Mavs too with Game 3 but on the series, I think the Clippers will win in 7 games Cheesy.

Congrats on your win, lots of winners today backing the Mavericks, some people also won in the betting thread.
3683  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is it necessary to create an ANN thread? on: August 20, 2020, 11:23:46 AM
I just wanted to ask most of the users lately are asking if a certain casino is legitimate or not and some are asking why a crypto based casino does not open an Announcement thread here on the forum. Is it really necessary that a crypto casino or sports betting website needed to open an Announcement thread here?

It is if the site wants to gain gamblers here because there ANN thread will be a space where they can make an announcement and people can ask regarding the site. Most of the reputable gambling in the forum have their ANN thread here, and ANN thread alone is also useless if they'll not put a representative of their site to answer queries from gamblers. Follow other sites ANN thread as model, the more it is active, the more it will gain trust from the community.
3684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A crypto startup is now funding people in Bitcoin for delayed flights. on: August 20, 2020, 10:47:35 AM
It's an hour's delay and you'll be compensated for that, I've never heard of this before. Usually, in my country, if your flight is delayed they'll only apologize and no compensation or sort of freebies to be given.
Yes, that's the norms, but this one is good as it values us traveler and our time.
This is quite unique as i never heard of this platform before, I'm interested with this though I don't usually travel, who knows someday.

How would this startup earn, what's their business model?

We can read the article, it's link is posted in the OP.
3685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 20, 2020, 10:26:35 AM

Thankfully, I bet live for the Dallas Mavericks. I got it in the first quarter @2.16.

That was an easy win, Dallas is leading most of the time in the game.
It could have been Luka that will be thrown out in the game if he is not careful since he is in foul trouble.

Bench did a great job, but Luka was also exceptional who only played 28 minute but got 28 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds.
His buddy KP was also having a good night with good 3 point shooting, (3/4), very special big man.
3686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 19, 2020, 11:19:17 PM
I'm not a fan of either Bucks and Lakers but the upset should just be mentioned if these 8th seeded teams will win their respective series.
That's why...hahaha..

Fans think their team got upset because they believe they will win in every game, or could be upset in just a game, that is different from upset in the series.

Remember the famous 1st Seed Spurs vs 8th Seed Memphis? Grizzlies defeat the Spurs on Game 1 but no one called it as upset. After the series won by the Grizzlies, that's what we can be called an upset.

You nailed it, but like I mentioned, that depends on how one will see it, it could be per game or per series.

Lakers and Bucks haters are just happy with the result,.  Grin
3687  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 19, 2020, 10:52:02 PM
Gordon Hayward out, not a good news for the Celtcis fans.

I think Sixers can take advantage to this, backing them in game 2, hoping that absence of Gordon  Hayward will give them a big chance of winning.

https://clutchpoints.com/celtics-news-gordon-hayward-now-out-a-month/

The last game sixers are close it so happened that Embiid did not got the ball from the inside and Harris are not converting those shots,
This coming game 2 expect that they will try to bounce and tied this game, with hayward absence the big guys can go inside and take advantage, they just need to rotate the ball and let the easiest shot to make and not to force it.

Hayward only scored 12 points in game 1, I guess smart will have more minutes in this game but Celtics is still a contender even without him as they played well as a team and anyone could step up. In game 1, it was Tatum and Brown who played well, maybe in this game we will see other players that would contribute well, maybe Walker will get 30+ points as he was a good offensive player.
3688  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For the kind attention of the Gambling sites , a small suggestion on: August 19, 2020, 10:34:03 PM
I agree with the opinion of most of the members here regarding crypto gambling sites should not apply KYC procedures for
overcoming age restrictions for gambling. Because it is not in accordance with the basic principles of cryptocurrency which
prioritizes anonymity and privacy.
Yes, I believe in anonymity and privacy, but that is only from wallet to wallet as transactions in blockchain is anonymous.
However, gambling sites is not anymore in our control, if government will regulate it and require them to implement KYC to clients, we can't do anything about it because in the first place gambling site are not decentralized.

We can only achieve anonymity if we have a decentralized gambling sites.

Indeed, the role of parents is very important, by providing education for children under
18 years of age, so they do not access gambling sites and adult sites.

Agree, parents as the educator is more effective that the law created by the government.
3689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 19, 2020, 10:07:01 PM
Thank you and congratulations to the winners too.
Good luck with your next bets.

My pick:
Dallas Mavericks
Philadelphia 76ers
Denver Nuggets

No handicap. Scary.  Grin

Good luck, are doing a parlay of your pick?

Denver Nuggets seems to be in trouble now, Utah Jazz bounce back big time and dominated the Nuggets, 4th quarter now and Jazz are up 30+ points.
3690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 19, 2020, 09:49:42 PM
Smith 0 minutes and Waiters just 1. That might have hurt those two players.

For the record. Lebron now have no reason to blame JR Smith for their defeat today. Fantastic game for Dame though. Cheesy

Surprised L for Milwaukee, probably cause of Home Advantage. Grin

LOL, I was not able to see the entire game, but watching the highlights, I don't see JR Smith there, so maybe they need to play him so they have something to blame or maybe he could help the team to win. Lakers problem in that game was their awful 3 point shooting, JR should be the answer to that.
3691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 18, 2020, 11:01:05 AM
Speculation is coming out, I read some comments online that the refs favored the Clippers as they want the Lakers vs Clippers match up in the WCF.

I'm afraid by tomorrow we will see a lot of bad calls against the Blazers. Sad

I hope this ejection doesn't determine the run of this playoffs, it determines the game but I hope as a whole it doesn't. Fans really wanted to face Clippers and Lakers in the Western CF, I mean, who wouldn't? right? Let's just put it as a speculation and let's see how will Damian "Dolla" Lilliard and his teammates face one of the best teams in the playoffs tomorrow. Gonna put my money against Lakers, I just feel it.

Good luck on that feeling of yours, it looks like fans have found a love on the Blazers, they are in a good run so I believe it will continue if Lillard will not struggle. How about the Blazers vs Mavericks in the WCF? I think that is very surprising and it's gonna be Luka vs Damian and Nuckic vs Jokic, isn't it fun?
3692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: August 18, 2020, 10:40:04 AM
I'm 0-1 (w-l) in the playoffs so far.

Getting back my winning shape with my pick today.

I'm one of the bettors who are lining up.  haha.

BETTORS LINING UP TO BET AGAINST LEBRON JAMES

So, here's my bet, Lakers vs Blazers.

Going for the Blazers +5.5 and a little moneyline. GL

And I am next in line.
But, I will be waiting until its almost game time.
Let's see if the ML will be maxed out to a level which looks impossible for the Blazers to win.
Then, that is the time I will be betting for the Blazers.  Grin
Lakers is strong, no doubt, but I am the type go bets against strong team. Underdog fan.

Portland is still hot from all that winning spree. I hope we can get the same with our bets.

Or maybe you can also try betting live, if in the early quarter Blazers will be down 5 to 10 points, I think that would certainly give you a good odds for your moneyline bet. All favorites won last night, probably it's the opposite tonight.
3693  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 14, 2020, 10:17:40 PM
It is not easy to be a good bettor, because we must have knowledge. Without knowledge we are just playing on instinct and that's a bad idea.
Another thing to be a good bettor requires expertise in gathering information, because the more complete information we can collect. The more
accurate our choices are for betting, even the more information we can get can increase our winning chance.

That's right, everyone should acknowledge that it's not easy to be a good better, similar to saying it's not easy to win. Gathering information is just some basic requirement as you needed that to analyze a game before you put your bet, but the real battle was really when you are already in the driver's sit as you have to play against all odds, I mean, just like a roller coaster ride, you go up and down, so you have to survive and make sure you'll be the winner in the long run.
3694  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BitMex demanded KYC documents. on: August 14, 2020, 09:48:56 PM
~snip~

I used the bitcoin mixer Wassabi and another mixer and then I deposited the funds to bitmex to trade since the bitcoin price was moving fast. Source of money is indeed legit, reason I used the mixer is to avoid a exchange to track where I spend my damn money at because that's a privacy fuckery.
my thoughts is the mixed outcome is source from darknet? are these funds illegally obtained and just got assaigned to me? I am in trouble?

Now you can't anymore keep your privacy as they demand you to comply the KYC requirement,

Looks like it has come early to you, Bitcoin exchange BitMEX adds KYC for all its users

Thought it will start in 2021.

Quote
Bitcoin futures exchange BitMEX will require its users to verify their identity by February 12, 2021.

By requesting a KYC to you it doesn't mean you are doing illegal activities, it's just part of the protocols they have, you are not in trouble as long as you are not doing something illegal.
3695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: August 14, 2020, 01:24:21 PM
Ethereum is definitely going strong as it's already trading over $400 at the moment, if bitcoin will climb to $12k again, it's guaranteed that Ethereum will be trading at over $500. Also, the marketcap of Ethereum and XPR is not close anymore, it seems like there's no chance for XRP to overtake Ethereum now.

Ethereum's movement for the past 3 months is very impressive.

Serum token shoots up 1,000% on Binance listing

Binance listings are now pumping DeFi tokens. Yesterday it was YFI, today SRM—the token belonging to the Serum exchange.

https://decrypt.co/38360/serum-token-up-1000-percent-binance-listing

It's now time for the DeFi projects, and Binance is  the right exchange to hype them.

Lucky are those who were able to ride with the pump, I'm sure this would result to some correction soon, so prepare for the dump.
3697  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Can show economy on: August 14, 2020, 12:18:21 PM
So therefore I dispute the fact that when bitcoin falls, economy of a country also fall and when bitcoin rise, economy of country also rise.

If we talk of economy, every country has different economic status, some are progressive some are not, but bitcoin is not tied to one country, therefore we can say that it will rise when the economy will rise, anything can happen, depending on the situation.

For example, one country is hit by hyper inflation and they use bitcoin to hedge it, that would result to a demand of bitcoin and it will help to increase the price but since bitcoin is global asset, other countries performance could also affect it and it might or might not rise.
3698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: August 14, 2020, 11:47:03 AM
Invest in Yolodice if you have spare Bitcoin and wait for a long time for it to get some profit. Patience is the key Smiley

Not using spare money to invest, I use spare money to gamble.

Investing is a serious matter, we aim to make money because we believe that the site has the advantage to be profitable, so investing a decent amount and not a spare amount is high recommended, that's my opinion only because I believe that any kind of investment opportunity has to be taken seriously.
3699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pundi X - Any store can buy, sell and accept Cryptocurrency on: August 14, 2020, 07:49:06 AM

This project is doomed. Right now 1 NPXS is trading at:

$0.000216
0.00000002 BTC
0.00000055 ETH

On Binance is no more possible to trade with NPXS/BTC pair. It is no longer possible to express the price in Bitcoin and it can't be a good signal.
Even if there *as Coinmarketcap says $3,590,576 USD daily volume, I think it will be very difficult for NPXS to return in life here. The very ugly chart is here, someone still thinks that there will be recovered?

Recovery to old levels looks next to impossible right now because the sell wall on NPXS is huge and it going to be really tough breaking them. The last pump gave us a good opportunity to sell them but sadly I missed it.

Was there a pump happened? I also missed it, lol..

Anyway, I'm not selling though, I'll just keep it til this coin will die, I've sold some already and that is enough, the rest will be kept for HODL.
3700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings? on: August 14, 2020, 07:32:39 AM
I've also been trapped in Scam project, because I looked on Crypto ratings, That's right, Crypto ratings can be bought so bad projects can get high ratings, and of course it makes investors or bounty hunters trapped. At this time I no longer believe in Crypto ratings, you better check the project that you are joining.
Crypto rating does not guarantee the project will succeed. Sometimes projects that do not have a rating are even successful in the market and have survived until now.

Things has changed a lot now, ratings does not matter anymore, what matters most is what exchange the project is listed.
If the project is listed in big exchanges, automatically, people will invest and that would create some hype and a certain project will gain a decent volume.
