this wont change the world of mining.. yet.. 5000 usd of 1070s, mined 310 LBC yesterday.. 0.04 BTC...24usd... 210 days ROI only for the cards... ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) you mean 0.06 btc = 36 usd = 140 days roi...

I am getting average 317 on a 1070. Not using sp version either.
Ifyou don't write the power consumption, yours numbers are totaly useless... I am getting 288 MHs on a simple kfa2 EX 1070 at 100 W (wattmeter) with ccminer 1.8.2. Bonsoir de Paris. @SP_ : tu es français ? 100w for 288 is impressive i'm at 120w with the same, what are your settings? Power limit : 80 % Temperature limit : 74°C Core Clock : 1974 MHz (+ 153) Memory clock : 4100 MHz (+298) 1012 mv 68/69 °C I think I can increase the memory clock, but not sure it'll be increase the hashrate. that's strange i have 70% power limit and -502 memory and i'm consuming more than you, are you sure about your consumption seems too low to me Yes, sure : wattmeter measurement. My config : only 1 GPU (GTX 1070) 2 DDR3 RAM (4 + 2 GO, not "L") HDD 3,5" (Windows 10) CPU "T" (who is mining on 2 cores with a CPU miner) 1 ventilateur 120 mm Power unit : 600 W 80+ bronze Total consumption : 134/140 W. mmh i think it has to do with the pcb of the kfa2 which is smaller than the g1 gaming, and has 1 less fan

well then i picked the wrong brand for this series, if there are 1070 that can perform so well

850 watt psu isn't enough for 3 1070. I use evga 700b bronze and 750gq gold for 5 1070. I never live any hardware issue and also I must say that room tempreture is really terrible due to summer.
i'm running six 1070 with a 1000w, so 850 is overkill for 3 lol at Amph !! great!! and i thought i was crazy making a 5x evga 1070 on a 1000w evga g2 psu. 100% agree with you I have rigs with 4x1070 Gigabyte G1 on 850w PSU (superflower good old one). But they are ok with their 6 pin conectors. But the MSi 1070 has 8+6 pin, so i left the rig with 3 cards... (the psu is an overkill in power, but ran out of connectors). btw, i feel nvidia miners lost its momentum... LBC is not what it used to be.. other algos are not optimized for pascal yet... my roi went from 7 months to more than a year... actually my whole system including the six gpu is consuming only 850-870w, plus 80w of inefficiency of the psu which is at 91% this is 130-135w per gpu basically I remeber you said that is 180MH/s some where. So it is about 135/30 or 4.2J/MH. That is very efficient. that with ethereum, with etheruem consumption is even lower, around 700w for 180MH, with lbry 800w with 1660MH

density cost more when a unit goes down everyone is different bro when i look at other algo like vtc is no way will ever buy 1070 redundantcy rules this place lower bang for buck is king ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) how much you are doing on vtc?
yes my $210 gtx 1060 got 185 mhhsh or so thats aprox imately 370 for the 400 $ you paid to maybe get 3oo lol on a 1070 dont think im buying any more 1070 s thanks for that link bro mine on ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) well 185 is 60% of a 1070 hashrate, which cost double yes, but it save you some components, because you have more density you need 60% more useless components to have the same hashrate of a farm made full of 1070 for example 3(1070)rig vs 5(1060)rig, have same hash, cost is 2800(6x1070gpu+400 for components) x 3 vs 1600(6x1060+400) x 5 = 8400 vs 8000, same shit in the end

yeah usually when something is wrong with your system cpu is the last thing you check, first are psu ssd and motherboard
more than the usage is the temp that matter, 100% usage at 50° is more than healthy, vs 50% at 70-80° because of bad cooling
man you can do 200mh for 600w with 6x1070, that thing is trash
160MH isn't 80% of a 1070, a 1070 can do almost 300 now with the last free version of ccminer
you can also spend 5k on 2 rig of nvidia based on the 1060 3gb, actually it would be only 4k, they should do great on lbry
ethereum is at least 20MH with 60w-80w
someone has the hasrate/watt on lbry with the 3gb version, opportunely tweaked?
like 70% tdp +125 core -502 mem

I think the only question that matters is ....
How much h/s can I get with my R9 280x?
Or I guess since its 2016...
How much h/s can I get with my RX 480?
yeah waiting for amd vs nvidia on this
The best performance/price ratio is probably the 390, but it consumes a lot of electricity. I would go for the RX 480 if you don't have free/cheap electricity.
high consumption is not only about electricity, it's about cooling and wasted wattage for a bigger psu, so i would avoid all generation gpu altogether

For a 4-GPU no riser build like Phillip, you NEED to go with blower-style cards. Fan type won't cool well enough (except the one card of the 4 that does NOT have another card blocking it's fan, THAT card you could use a fan-type card on).
Don't go with "founder edition" cards, their overall cooling is widely reported to be fairly poor.
So in my case it would be better to go with MSI AERO or Asus Turbo ? And why can't I use cards with fans, if they are slim enough ? After all I should maybe finally stay on risers build, but since my two current ones do not have any structure, I'll need to build one since I'm out of Lego and plastic baskets ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ... Dont get either of those cards, https://www.amazon.co.uk/Biostar-HI-FI-H81S2-H81S2 Motherboard-Socket/dp/B00I8IJOD0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1474713432&sr=8-1&keywords=biostar+h81s2 get this board 50$, dont get gigabyte g1 they have micron memory and are buggy. I would get asus strix, they are suppose to have samsung memory. I would recommend EVGA, but I dont know if they have samsung memory or not. my g1 gaming have samsung, so it must be recent release with micron, in any case the best brand this time seems the palit how so? do you have one? i have 7 and they are all samsung i bought them early, in july ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs13.postimg.org%2Fj0ctabwdj%2Fsamsung.png&t=663&c=hAtjK0vTjHZQMA)

I managed to OC my EVGA 1070 with samsung memory to 9216 Mhz. It seems stable, but is it safe? With undervolted GPU to 62% of TDP - about 93watt per card at the wall.
if no artifact then yes, if you see artifact then no, revert back

there is any increment with the last driver over .54 with this version?
