I am getting average 317 on a 1070. Not using sp version either.
Ifyou don't write the power consumption, yours numbers are totaly useless... I am getting 288 MHs on a simple kfa2 EX 1070 at 100 W (wattmeter) with ccminer 1.8.2. 850 watt psu isn't enough for 3 1070. I use evga 700b bronze and 750gq gold for 5 1070. I never live any hardware issue and also I must say that room tempreture is really terrible due to summer.
i'm running six 1070 with a 1000w, so 850 is overkill for 3 lol at Amph !! great!! and i thought i was crazy making a 5x evga 1070 on a 1000w evga g2 psu. 100% agree with you I have rigs with 4x1070 Gigabyte G1 on 850w PSU (superflower good old one). But they are ok with their 6 pin conectors. But the MSi 1070 has 8+6 pin, so i left the rig with 3 cards... (the psu is an overkill in power, but ran out of connectors). btw, i feel nvidia miners lost its momentum... LBC is not what it used to be.. other algos are not optimized for pascal yet... my roi went from 7 months to more than a year...  actually my whole system including the six gpu is consuming only 850-870w, plus 80w of inefficiency of the psu which is at 91% this is 130-135w per gpu basically I remeber you said that is 180MH/s some where. So it is about 135/30 or 4.2J/MH. That is very efficient. that with ethereum, with etheruem consumption is even lower, around 700w for 180MH, with lbry 800w with 1660MH |

yes my $210 gtx 1060 got 185 mhhsh or so thats aprox imately 370 for the 400 $ you paid to maybe get 3oo lol on a 1070 dont think im buying any more 1070 s thanks for that link bro mine on  well 185 is 60% of a 1070 hashrate, which cost double yes, but it save you some components, because you have more density you need 60% more useless components to have the same hashrate of a farm made full of 1070 for example 3(1070)rig vs 5(1060)rig, have same hash, cost is 2800(6x1070gpu+400 for components) x 3 vs 1600(6x1060+400) x 5 = 8400 vs 8000, same shit in the end |

yeah usually when something is wrong with your system cpu is the last thing you check, first are psu ssd and motherboard
more than the usage is the temp that matter, 100% usage at 50° is more than healthy, vs 50% at 70-80° because of bad cooling

The best performance/price ratio is probably the 390, but it consumes a lot of electricity. I would go for the RX 480 if you don't have free/cheap electricity.
high consumption is not only about electricity, it's about cooling and wasted wattage for a bigger psu, so i would avoid all generation gpu altogether |

For a 4-GPU no riser build like Phillip, you NEED to go with blower-style cards. Fan type won't cool well enough (except the one card of the 4 that does NOT have another card blocking it's fan, THAT card you could use a fan-type card on).
Don't go with "founder edition" cards, their overall cooling is widely reported to be fairly poor.
So in my case it would be better to go with MSI AERO or Asus Turbo ? And why can't I use cards with fans, if they are slim enough ? After all I should maybe finally stay on risers build, but since my two current ones do not have any structure, I'll need to build one since I'm out of Lego and plastic baskets  ... I managed to OC my EVGA 1070 with samsung memory to 9216 Mhz. It seems stable, but is it safe? With undervolted GPU to 62% of TDP - about 93watt per card at the wall.
if no artifact then yes, if you see artifact then no, revert back |
