Opportunity to make profit with build a project will always make people interested. Besides that, even fail, there's an experience they get ( learning by doing ). ICOs not the pyramid scheme, there's clear concept, develop team and also fund to start. Don't worry if every day ICO projects come up without permission. Yesterday I just lost 1.8k USD, maybe in USA or in West Europe that's doesn't much, but here in my shitty country that's a f* big amount of money. Here the minimum wage is ~ 300 USD / month. So that's like 6 month of work if I cut my bread and water and live on air. Half of my saving were other investments, but anyways... I'm feeling shitty right now. Oh, and I break my laptop. So yeah, that's another - 500 usd.
I though I can trade. Buy low, sell high. Sounds good, doesn't work.
Looking at the charts and candle sticks and watching old bitcoin values, and huge spikes (pump, I saw here how people uses the pump word, daaaamn...) I was... yeah, I can totally do that. I'll just buy when it's low, and sell it when it reaches the top. Well, I was wrong. You can't see the future, otherwise everyone would be a millionaire. That would be true if you would have a delorean from '85 with Emmett Brown and Marty Mcfly and you could f* travel in future and see the PUMPS!!!1
So anyone who will read this message (noobs like me) if you don't have any trading experience, don't do it. There are expert traders who know how this market works, when to buy and when to sell. Don't assume your skills by watching youtube videos and reading "daily indexes and predictions" of how the price will rise or go down by shitty sites. That's just dumb. You don't know what's gonna happen. Maybe a little bit of luck, or I don't know.
So yeah, from now on, I'll just leave the trading area for experts and I will invest in bitcoin by buying every 2 week or monthly and saving into my wallet. And one day (I hope so) the price will rise and I will buy for my self a delorean.

I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?
Your money your call, those strategies can make money on real market. If you can stay with pc/ laptop I suggest day trading but if not, please choose hold. The question is, can you control emotion when using day trading or hold? if you can't it will be disappointing. Ok, assume you are relatively new to crypto currency and have missed the train (haven't bought Bitcoins back in 2009/2010 when they were ridiculously cheap). You have, let's say only $100 to spend for investing in Bitcoins or Altcoins.
While 100$ was more then enough in 2009/2010 to make you now financially independent, if you invested it all in Bitcoins at a price of 0.07$ or even lower at that time, which strategy do you think is the most profitable if you start today where the price is not a few Cents anymore but around 3.500$ per bitcoin?
1. Use the 100$ to buy BTC now and hold ("hodl") it until price reaches hopefully something like 100.000$ or even 500.000$ in 10 years
2. Trade BTC with a "buy low, sell high" strategy on a daily basis like a day trader
3. Trade BTC with a "buy low, sell high" strategy on a longer time frame
4. Lend your BTC you can buy for $100 on Poloniex to other traders to receive a few Satoshis every day (interests)
5. Lend your BTC somewhere else (might be risky)
6. Invest in ICO (might be even more risky)
7. Try to find a new but promising Altcoin and grab as much as you can for $100 right from the start before the price (hopefully) sky-rockets one day (also high risk I think)
Which strategy would you think will the best to make the most out of $100 you invest today?
Too many ways will make you stress, just pick one and do it. We don't know which one because I'm not you and we are different person. If we say investment ( not trading ), hold become our option ( number 1 ). But if you're trader, option number 2 and 3 is the right ways. Every strategy has risk, there's no winning strategy. i'm one who spend too much time for trading. I made so many stupid mistakes because of thinking emotionally instead of logically.  what is your opinion? Just like me, that's why emotion control is necessary. Too much time is relative but never lost control, you'll gonna lose. Besides that, just make sure you have stop loss to minimalize your risk. I do not suggest to buy this coin, the price too cheap and this month, alt coin market is falling down. Patience not to buy any coin before August, and replace your money into currency for safety. For a new coin, dent need to prove their ICO is another way to make profit. Need hard works and extra time to prove that but real market has their own answer. I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.
When the price go down, coins will lost their value. You have to wait until the price comes up and sell, do that again and again. That's what we do as investor or trader, nothing else. The easy way to say is how we can get profit if we sell when the price goes down?. You must have patience, that's the key to become success with investment. Patience need hard work and that's not easy but it's worth. Besides that, see again your strategy, if the price still falling down just sell it. For those that buy bitcoin last week when the price fell and was dump to $1,785 can now take profit as from https://coinmarketcap.com is currently $2,750. Thank God for another blessing! No need to be afraid if the price falling down, speculation is everywhere. Depend my strategy it is a good time to buy bitcoin, besides the price too low it has stable volume. Bitcoin resistance around 1814-1840 reached = STRONG support  If segwit2x activated and fully operational this weekend = back to 3,000 $ +++++ If not = hard fork = bitcoin will be traded around 900 $ What do you think ? For me, August is only speculation, nothing else. When news comes up, people will give some reaction about it but sometimes overreaction. Depend my strategy, $ 3.000 or $ 900 is possible but how to save our balance is another story. That's why I choose to exchange my btc into currency and wait until August ended. My biggest problem in trading is that I was too brave to buy altcoin at a high price, and because of that I often lost my btc, even once I lost 50% of my btc when I bought altcoin at a price far above ICO.
So please give me feedback on this, what should I do?
Too brave or too greedy?, that will crush all trader on real market. Just let it go, be patience and start new trade with a good strategy and money management. For you I only suggest keep hold what coins you buy and don't sell it until August. Maybe you say " no " but August btc/altcoin has big issue and perhaps the price will comes up again. My biggest problem is only one, patience. I have been lost almost 40% from my money because can't control my emotion. When the price falling down, I should see graphic price chart not sell all my coins. But it's too late, after I sell it the price comes up again. You can try see on web, books or even group, they only share opinion with their own strategy and faith. We can't trust just like drinking water, some reseach must do before believing in something.
