@len01 I asked same question a while back, they replied following:

It's not on Google play, is it? Qr downloads apk, 'Get it on play store' is quite misleading.

Hey. The app is now in beta version. You will be asked to download the application cause it is not on Google play yet. If you get an error, please send a screenshot here.

Regarding delay in verification, it could be holidays and team got to catch up with past requests.

3702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best crypto selling method on exchanges on: January 12, 2023, 11:50:48 AM
So, what do you prefer, to sell your coins instantly for less or to open an order and profit a slight better margin, reaching the general market's prices rates?

Opening order makes you susceptible to price fall as well, I'd rather just sell instantly at market prices unless the spread is too big or slippage is high.

Have read all comments, it appears it's all about what you are used to. Pc people find mobile awkward and vice versa.

I have been using bitcointalk on phone since day of registration and can do everything, yes multi quotes are bit annoying but doable.
3705  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammers use too much brain on: January 12, 2023, 02:24:23 AM
I don't know if people in comments are quick to judge, have you never been scammed? In my early years in crypto, I was just as gullible and fall for several scams then eventually learned. I think it will be same for these people.
3706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it becoming a thread for casinos refusing paying very huge winnings? on: January 12, 2023, 01:38:59 AM
I don't think it's becoming trend, it's just that when some casino don't pay — other casinos are also assumed to be same, assumptions are ofc far from truth.

The New York State Gaming Commission said Bookman’s machine had malfunctioned, and that she'd actually won just $2.25 (£1.86).The machine had a disclaimer stating 'malfunctions void all pays and plays', and as a result the commission said that they were required by law to give Bookman only what she'd actually won.

Couldn't they have known that their so-called machine was faulty before letting gamblers use it?
How could they do this to her?

Lmfao, this is almost as if that disclaimer was put there for 'just in case' moment of someone winning big. Really came in handy must say.
3708  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I think it's wrong on: January 11, 2023, 01:44:01 AM

Right now some people are still waiting for more downside without any DCA so far, this is a very big risk if you ask me.

Exactly, it's fruitless to wait for further downside when we already have heavily discounted prices. Potential for profits is already huge.
3709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges lie to you! on: January 11, 2023, 01:21:45 AM

While I'll give props to Coinbase for remaining to be unhacked for a long time knowing they're one of the earliest crypto exchanges,

I guess that's why the statement, they are in dire need of one  Tongue

While I agree that self custody comes with it's own share of risks, putting funds in exchanges just doubles it up, so ofc not worth the risk. BUT, People should stop pretending as if self custody is magical wand.

Just look at this, even tech savvy people get hacked: https://mobile.twitter.com/LukeDashjr/status/1609613748364509184
3710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My MetaMask account is gone !! on: January 11, 2023, 12:50:35 AM
So it was up to me to remember exactly what coins I had and in what Networks.

Fortunately I could do that but it was tedious as I had to re add them to MetaMask one by one, not at all intuitive.

Next time search up your address on https://etherscan.io/. It will show tokens you hold under 'token' section.

I still have no idea what this "private key" is about or the damn .JSON file , that sounds way too elaborate and overly complicated

Those are alternative ways to restore your wallet, if you keep your seed phrase safe there is no need to bother with those.
3711  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Are Some Of The Most Efficient Ways To Invest My Bitcoin Earnings? on: January 11, 2023, 12:42:32 AM
Is it a waste of time to try to invest my earnings no matter how small into bitcoin at this stage or is it something that only pays off after a one time big cash investment?

If you don't have one up big cash investment then start with small, it only takes a while before many small investments become big amount.

I don't get your 'vip' nft benefit.

'keep accumulating turnover & selling with higher prices' - where is user supposed to check your turnover? Anybody claiming the second statement is outright scam to me.

I doubt your site will be even alive for a quarter that you share your profits.
3713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 10, 2023, 12:41:44 PM
If you are really passionate about the sport and know it's insides out you have more chances to make living out of it.

Also, I consider sports betting to be different than gambling, it's different than sheer luck spotted in gambling games.

There must be numerous people following this strategy and when it hit home with one person world comes to know about it. For me, it's coincidence at best.
Numerous people following the strategy? How? Does this look like a strategy to you or gambling within gambling? This is not a strategy but a belief and it will mostly put the people that adopt it into trouble. After reading this thread, I started trying to be practicalizing it, but I realized I was foolish enough to be thinking like that. It will be a true coincidence if it works at times, but it would be one out of many outcomes that would be successful. So, it's not worth it.

May be wrong wording, I meant that there must be numerous people who must have followed this 'strategy' mentioned in op, and out of them all this Nigerian guy gets lucky and world comes to know about it. It's like survivorship bias.

So this particular guy in Nigeria around 5 years ago followed some Jersey numbers he has been monitoring for the week and according to him 3 of the numbers where consistently and regularly appearing on different TV stations for the week and he concluded some numbers and went to stake them 3/3 in the weekend draws and behold! When the matches were played all turned out draws and this guy cashed out from different pool shops where he did the stakings.

No. I gamble for fun and delegating it to ai would be fruitless for me. However I agree with,

Do we need someone to put together a thread of ChatGPT predictions to see how accurate they are?

That'd only work with sports betting I think.

Anyhow, I'd just use crypto casinos.

Meaning don't stick to mind unless you are curious in first place or had doubts about word's meaning in past, I just Google whenever there is doubt so the understanding remains.
