No one cares about Iran.
That's quite harsh Very ignorant too, especially if he/she is American. Why do you think the U.S. wanted to go to war with Syria?

Hello,
Need some help with an antminer s1. Just received 2 and 1 is up and running... the other... I set it up like my others and the green light shows it's hashing....but no stats. I have switched them both on at the same time... 1 has stats....other nothing.
Tried login..but get the following error:
/usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: Failed to execute function dispatcher target for entry '/'. The called action terminated with an exception: /usr/lib/lua/luci/sauth.lua:87: Session data invalid! stack traceback: [C]: in function 'assert' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: in function 'dispatch' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:194>
additional info: Win 7, ip gateway: 192.168.0.1, ant ip: 192.168.0.94, comp ip: 192.168.0.105 IP scanner finds the ant on 192.168.0.94
Any idea's?
Do a hard reset, then scan again for the Ants IP. Chances are that your Ants IP has been changed since it was in a farm.

They should teach this sh!t in school!
at my school they did, and i guess other schools do that as well! They teach things about bonds and money, how it is just created as numbers in banks - at least at my school they did! It was not called "bad" and it was not about the slavery behind it, but it revealed the process of how money is working, and how banks can create "bank money" for loans. An example that i remember from school was: "If you go to a bank to get a loan of 500 000 to buy an house, the bank did not to have these 500 000. Its enough that the bank got the house as leverege, so the bank can create the money for the leverge as called "bank money"." I did not remember which class that was but i guess it was "oberstufe" like the germans call it. So schools doesn't seem to be that bad at all ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) (Sry for my bad english, but i guess i missed some classes there, in school english doesn't seems to be that important at all XD) I am guessing you didn't go to school in the U.S. right? Me neither btw, just asking.

Thinking about buying this antminer, still profitable for how long? we got a 21% taxrate over here and 0.22euro /kw/h As the GPU farm with 4x 7950's is only making me about 0.018 btc a day with power costs about 5 euro's a day.
I been thinking about this one and would make me about 0.02 btc a day with power costs of 2 euro a day somewhat
The Ant is most definitely more profitable from your GPUs. My opinion, get an Ant for BTC and mine LTC with the GPUs.

Most of the above are NTP related. Have you tried disabling NTP? Just to see where that gets you.
The damn thing has gone completely lame. both blades dead, the led's on the wrt board are lit but the one under the rj45 connector is dead. Reset has no affect. will try swapping PSU but I fear the WRT board is shit. [/quote] Sounds like a connection problem to me. EDIT: Can you ping google.com from your miner?

I really feel confident with the OP's trust rating ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) OP if you want me in your sales send me a test unit, if it works like you say it does I will pay you for it and order more.

So this ships from China? And I am guessing you didn't actually buy these miners, you are only doing Bitmain a favor by getting rid of their old stock in order to make room for the new S2 which is already mining?
Don't get me wrong but I only pay around €35 for customs.
What I want to hear is what do you have to offer me in regards of the S2?

It is fake.
I noticed it too and like you I asked the same question and got the answer that I am giving you. It is fake!

No, he also pulled this scam with member @helmax. Can you elaborate?
Competition ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Seriously though, I have no idea whether pcfli is legit or not, but no one really brought up anything substantial against him, except one guy whose wife told him to get a refund ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) While pcfli could do better explaining his side of the story, I still don't see how shouting in big red letters is helping anyone. Twitter generation can't seem to put together a single coherent sentence. My question wasn't directed to you juan. It was at the newbie that just came in shouting in bold red letters that this is a scam. I do not know what to say to you other than: maybe next time use escrow? No1 rule. Make sure that your investment is solid. If you can't do that, get out of the game. You probably know first hand by now that this is a tough game. Don't get me wrong I am not trying to put you down or something but once you have sent the money it is gone. Make sure you know where your BTC is sent. That is all I am trying to say.

Guys, please answer my questions above. Do you think it's worth it if ROI is 5 months? It's 3 months without VAT and PSU, but 5 with them.
I don't like a 5-month ROI. But I think your 30% adjustment estimate is too high. We haven't had a 30% yet this year. Rerun your estimate with 20% adjustments. I calculated a 50 day ROI for me. Since we have no VAT and our electricity is pretty low. For me it is less than 10 cents a KW. I think I am at .095 / kwh. Can I come and live with you? Seriously, where do you live? (if you don't mind me asking)

Hi guys,
i'm thinking of buying 1 or 3 of these ANTMINER S1 Dual Blades. But is this worth it because the difficulty will increase and the power consumption costs?
Any help would be nice... thanks in advance.
The difficulty will increase, but ONLY in steady pace (in my opinion). That being said, Do you honestly think that all these miners you hear about have not already been mining? So when you purchase one it doesn't really make much difference. The hashing power was there to begin with. So, it is all up to you. Also, if you are a true believer and expect the btc price to rise like me then maybe your $620 btc today will be worth $2000 in one or two months. Decisions, decisions..... It is all up to you. But do research the subject before diving in.

AVOID DHL, DHL is a bitch when it comes to customs. Even if Bitmain ships with invoices they ask for more.

Can't even make a secure wallet. Fucking morons.
No amount of security is going to protect a user who is making poor security decisions such as storing Bitcoins on the same networked computer used to experiment with alt-coins. +1

Hi, have and Ant that just started to shut down on me. This morning I noticed the green led's on the outer blades were both off. The Wrt board lights were still on and the ethernet lights were flashing as normal. Tried to log into it but couldn't. Did a reboot and all was well, just got home and the same problem. Anyone else had this happen or have any ideas? I'll log in now and see if anything looks weird. Thanks
Sounds like a PSU problem to me. What PSU are you using? CX 600 393MHZ it started and was working fine compared the sys log to other ants and it was completely different. Tried logging back in and got the following /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: Failed to execute function dispatcher target for entry '/'. The called action terminated with an exception: /usr/lib/lua/luci/sauth.lua:87: Session data invalid! stack traceback: [C]: in function 'assert' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:448: in function 'dispatch' /usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:195: in function </usr/lib/lua/luci/dispatcher.lua:194> try 375Mhz and slowly bring it up. I think that your PSU cannot handle it. Maybe a more experienced member can verify this, but I have heard that other users had probs with the cx600. Personally I use one cx750 for each and they are not even overclocked.

Sorry for your loss bro.
Try and keep your wallet in an encrypted drive. You can do this for free or buy software that allows you to encrypt parts of your hard drives as separate encrypted drives. This is what I do.
Remeber, most of this malicious software target the default directory of Bitcoin and your wallet.dat. if you move that to an encrypted drive then you are safe(r).
