3701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 19, 2023, 10:18:03 PM
A situation occurred today in my locality,  I have some guys working for me today and suddenly I hard them battling with an issues and when I get close to them to know what exactly the problem is,  and I asked the guy who look strange to me since I am meeting him for the first time and not a worker on the site what his business and why he is distracting the workers from work.

Then the guy narrated his case to be and he said,  that one of the workers came to his betting shop the yesterday to play some visual,  that at first the guy came with ₦‎1,000 in my local currency to make the bets and along the line, he existed the balance but as a regular customer,  the agent decided to allow him at further on credits and in all he accumulated a total debt of ₦‎8,000 because he lost all the bets and since that yesterday he has been on the run from the gambling agent until he traced him to the site today.

So when I wanted to judge the case and possible settlement,  I query the casino agent how can you allow a customer to gamble on credit to the tune of 8k Knowing fully well that the gambler only has a 1k balance which already existed?

Also what is the probability that the gambler will ever return after owning such debt in the betting shops,  note the gambler's daily pay is 2k as a helper on the site,  so he has to work for 4 days to be able to meet that debt that is if he doesn't make any other expenses.

Question is:

What is the possibility of the betting agent getting his money soon/considering the gambler's low-income earnings?
3702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do gambling addicts bother about the consequences of their actions? on: June 19, 2023, 10:00:21 PM

A question that bothers me concerning this issue is;
1. Do gambling addicts ever take a second thought on what the consequences of their actions can be not just to them but on those close to them?
If the take second thought of the consequences of their actions,  it then mean they are no longer addicts and won't want to go that way by having to do despicable things just to gamble,  the thing is that at that point their conscience is already death and their won't even have any second thought before carrying out such act.

2. Do they in reality genuinely feel any remorse about  how those affected by their actions might be feeling?
The have zero remorse just like someone that have a mental problem,  they are no longer in control but rather their addiction controls them.

3. Or, are they a dispassionate victim of their own uncontrollable addictive gambling lifestyle?
Yes that is what it is,  the addictions have made them become a monster looking for every possible means and ways just to feed they desires,  and gambling addicts is even worst of since they aim is to use whatever valuable to gamble and this is something that pushes them to use even things that have more value to that their stake.

-snip
wait, just to be clear, every time a gambler bets using BTC no matter how big or small the bet is a $0.02 will be credited to the gambler's account? so all the gamblers that bet using BTC on their gambling site got banned because of the bug even though they weren't abusing the bug? also, just curious, how long did the bug last before they found out about it?
That is what I can also get from the users claims it look as if he said everyone that make deposits in bitcoin got banned by the bug in the hot,  but my curiosity is that,  why didn't the security team fix thing for the players affected by the bug or even making a public note concerning that situations?

If what ops are saying has anything to go by,  them is will be a case of negligence on the side of the Housebet team not being able to take responsibility for what is entirely their fault but pushing to members affected to face the losses makemakessense to me at all.
3704  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] Forum EXCLUSIVE! on: June 19, 2023, 09:39:04 PM
@coinbox1 what about answering the concern of the 2 user above. They are spamming the forum about their negative experience on your casino. I knew that they are some kind of problematic cases but you should address them properly instead of ignoring it since you reply on other post and skip theirs.

The concern of @Rohang is just minimal compared to the accusation of these 2 members that teaming up already.
The level of the increase in the push for their case have really reached it highest and their beginning to spread negative fuds already and this is not what Trusdice should neglect because I have read multiple posts from both users all point to Trusdice scamming them and the team if this casino have not respond to them or try to solve this users issues.

I guest even if proven that this users are just spreading false fud about trustdice,  it still important for the trustdice team to visit those comments and try to resolve thing a or publicly prof that user as a false accuser.
3705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: June 19, 2023, 09:30:49 PM

The thing is that, selfie verification  was introduced and implemented into the kyc system by majorly every centralized company that runs on the internet, so this is not something that is peculiar to gambling casinos alone, even cryptocurrency exchange platform does require selfie or video verification and I dont think it can be bypassed, except like you said, the user decides to use a fake document, and in the stage of selfie/video verification is where the real challenge will begin, except on occasion where the owner of the documents being used is a close fiend or relative, then the person can try and convince he whose document is being used, to pose to the camera for the selfie or video verification.
The need for selfies arise due to the many issues of identity thefts that have graced many of the online casinos kycs,  since hackers have access to some stolen documents that their used to verify fake accounts in those users name and identity just to. Exploit the casino then the casino came up with selfie so as to very the facial and the real time identity for the users that want to very accounts instead relying on mere document submission and this have really helped casino to combat the issues of fake identity verifications.

3706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 19, 2023, 09:22:26 PM
People will choose the strategy based on which one they are comfortable with. Different people will have different point of views. Some may rely on skill and some may rely on calculating odds. This is people in general, and not amongst two different genders. Man does this thing too.
But when you look at psychological facts, this kind of makes sense. Men are hunters, and we like to leave a presence that we were there. Even if we lose, we never back down. Meanwhile, women like to stay in the shadow. Maybe that's the reason why they often choose slot machine like games.
But as in men, we think in both ways, women also thinks like that. Because it is a process where the outcome will be the same. Win or lose. So having different strategy on point of view doesn't really matter. At least that is what I think.
Yes, the odds already point to the men as to having the higher percentages of participation in gambling and other risk-related activities,  and this has been the norm with such activities because women tend to look away from what seems high risk and unrealistic.

But in the current dispensation,  women are beginning to build awareness and adapt to the way things are done with high-risk ventures,  but also one of the reasons why there seems to be woman pushback in gambling is because of societal discrimination against women who gamble.
3707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price, Where Next on: June 19, 2023, 09:16:50 PM
GeorgeJohn long time,  I agree with this your market speculation considering the way the market has reacted in the past few months of the year 2023 with a marginal market movement in both directions both ups and down the price of bitcoin have really reacted more stably and slowly despite the dip that faced the market in the previous year 2022.

There has been a lot of anticipation against the price of Bitcoin in the coming year since Bitcoin halves is also around that time and the reduction in the block rewards will really increase the value since there will be scarcity in the supply going forward from after 2024 halving.
Actually all our suggestions is assumptions and I believe that it mighty reach tomorrow cryptocurrency market changes to good instead of working on the capacity of my predictions or suggestions in the market,  I know quite well that cryptocurrency market changes because of information that come across neither negative or positive information it always work on information in a particular region.
I agree with you on the fact that speculation is based on individual assumptions and bitcoin have the capacity to make any price a reality within a short period of time and this is why Bitcoin price is not predictable because Bitcoin proved time without number of capacity to make a new price stamp that could change the direction of our speculations in any minute,  hours or days.

But all the same, with the assumption, comes a clue as to where and which direction to be looking out for in the coming days,  weeks and months even though we can't accurately state the obvious reality.
3708  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price, Where Next on: June 19, 2023, 09:02:14 PM
From what I've seen so far the "consensus" seems to be on a sideways market which I also agree with. There is a chance that in the coming months (Summer mostly) the market could see some excitement with some big rises breaking out into the $30k+ region but I still think this whole year is also going to be like 2022 because of the recession in the world that is not going to go away any time soon.
From my perspective I'm seeing bitcoin like some that will continue rising with small margin and falling with same margin until this year runs out, I believe that we will experience a significant excitement in 2024, because this year market is fluctuating it never be a constant acceleration the way I'm seeing this year market in cryptocurrency.

3709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin become The General Currency in the Future? on: June 19, 2023, 08:31:00 PM
According to evolution of money, trade was first done with the barter system, then it evolved to commodity money using Gold and it's kind, then into metal coins then paper money, later transactions where done with plastic cards, before it's evolved into electronic money and now crypto currency.
About years ago El Salvador became the first country to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender and there are speculations that other countries would also adopt it in the nearest future now my question is, with bitcoin being the leading cryptocurrency is there a tendency that it would become the generally used currency worldwide?

The big question is,  will Bitcoin ever become a global currency?

The answer is rather (NO) because countries around the world will not allow a decentralized currency to become the dominant currency and if you want to base your argument on the evolution and transformation of money,  to say bitcoin will gain global adoption then it may lead to a lot of frustrations since most countries are already developing their own CBDC to compete with other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is just fine playing the role of an alternative currency,  and only a small percentage of people know about Bitcoin.
3710  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: June 19, 2023, 08:23:27 PM
1-3 years is not a very long time, but anything can happen except how their prices will fluctuate. However, I can almost guarantee that their prices will increase significantly. So you can appropriately allocate 40% to XRP and 40% to ADA. The rest can do their own research and search for some geocoins. If you are good, your assets can increase quickly when the market is good.
1-3 years is a long time to hold an altcoin because not many altcoins will survive beyond that time frame because we have learnt from history how most of the developed altcoins always have a short life span most especially those that have very weak road maps and developmental plans.

So I can only advise you to hold altcoin for short-term speculation instead of relying on it a long-term possibility that will land you into bigger troubles in the long run when the coin dump in your face while you holding it for the long term.
3711  Economy / Reputation / Re: What should I do if I think somebody soon will scam someone? on: June 19, 2023, 08:15:49 PM

Yes I know I don't have any 100% proof and that's why I wont and cant give negative feedback or accusing him of something.
That's why I asked what I should do.
You mentioned that you don't have 100% proof and that push me to ask if you have any proof to nail the perceived scammer since you said 100% proof any proof will work just fine for this as long as it shows that both accounts are connected.

If there is nothing as proof to point to that fact,  then your accusation may be trashed as a mere assumption since you are without evidence to support your claims.
3712  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Housebets.io locked several accounts myself included and disabled withdraws on: June 19, 2023, 08:10:52 PM
You are doing it the wrong way and also mind-reading the rules of the forum,  because I can see that you are making a duplicate thread because of you already have one in the gambling discussion board why create another one here again?

This act will lead you to an account ban,  and you may not be able to create the right accusation against the casino in the future,  this a forum with rules and regulations so make sure you follow the rules to avoid penalty and you are already committing an offence already.
3713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Housebets.io locked several accounts myself included and disabled withdraws on: June 19, 2023, 08:05:29 PM
First, you need to put up a proper case against the casino if you feel you have been treated badly and out of the content of the terms and conditions so at you need to open a scam accusation against them in the right board and also make sure you include all the necessary evidence and information that can help explain your case better.

Because with what you put up,  no one is going to take you seriously with just a wall of text that lack evidence,  and since you said you have a telegram chat with the casino telegram moderator,  and you are told stories you did not agree with,  you can screenshot it a share,  but in most cases, deposits in small units are sometimes classified as dust transactions but I am not saying that what happens in your case since the support already give you another reason.
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A discussion On Too Much Gambling Addiction Topic on: June 19, 2023, 06:32:28 PM
OP, you posted a single forum thread on one person that are against all of these threads that are discussing "gambling addiction" ....so it is not a trend or the opinion of a large portion of the people on this forum. It will be interesting to create a Poll on this subject to see if more people feel this way.
I agree with,  I am against the trend but that was just my own personal opinion and view on the subject matter and shouldn't be referred to as a call,  the thread was just a suggestion and discussion to know what the whole community think about the trend in this related topic and word.

The thread ops shared the link in the topic is nothing and shouldn't be taken as opinion of many so creating a poll for such discussion is like creating a pill to ask what the community feels an AI usage in generating text.
I personally think that people should be informed on the dangers of gambling and how to gamble responsibly. There aiscurrently an in-balance between creating awareness of the dangers and the marketing of gambling on this forum. (there aismore marketing)  Roll Eyes
I agree with you on this,  there is a need for awareness creation on the danger of gambling excessively and possible addictions because we have a hard high increase in gambling addiction cases shared here in the forum and to prevent newbies from falling into that it becomes necessary to make sure we send out a warning in the best possible ways.
3715  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: June 19, 2023, 06:20:04 PM
Hello BCGame Community,
Instead, we encourage you to utilize our 24/7 live support available on the BCGame website. Our dedicated team is always on standby, eager to help resolve any issues or concerns you might have.
The live support in Bc.game has been dead for a while. I don't know how others contact your live support. It shows too many support agents are online, and no one joins the conversation. I had a friend named Ewa from Poland. She worked on Bc.game support, but she doesn't work there anymore. I always had to contact her personally to solve my issues. Suppose I contact you ten times via live support. The response rate is less than 30%. If I contact them ten times, maybe they will respond two or three times. That is also not instant, someone might join the conversation after thirty minutes. I did not get any email response from bc games in my lifetime. Strongly suggest you work on that.
I don't know how inactive their support has become lately but if the live support becomes inactive it points to a high priority that the casino is placing all attention on the game system without taking care of the player's needs and demands,  but I am not sure if BC.GAME support is truly inactive,  but I saw that Icopress just posted their signature campaign and that shows that the casino is very much around.

Just like the other user has pointed out,  you should contact one of the team members and let them know what you are experiencing for possible help.
3716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: June 19, 2023, 06:11:31 PM

1. I see that I've lost more money than I could easily afford to lose. Just a bit more, and I stop.

2. If I win a good amount, more than 50x of my bet, I stop for the day, right away.

I agree with your first point as that can be very dangerous if people continue to go further south and the risk of addiction is exactly there. While for the second point I found it very difficult for me to just quit for 50x my bet but if your bet is big enough then I may agree with it too, personally when I play if I don't hit over x1500 my bet it is very difficult for me to stop,I do not play for x50 my bet as that is not substantial amount for me because I play with lower bets, usually the minimum one and with such bet I need at least x1500 multiplier to consider it a good day and a good win.
Slot despite being a luck base game,  so for that it not a one-way thing even though you have some basic slot skills you still rely much on the luck factors to make a winning, but also if you are on a particular game trend like winning it won't be easy to just quit even though the gambler wins a lot of money.

Winning 50x of your staking won't come easy like that unless you hit a jackpot and even if you hit the jackpot the excitement of winning will trigger the gaming intrigue that can lead you to more bets and possibly becoming an addict.
3717  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: June 19, 2023, 06:01:20 PM
However, It seems Flush original games are not released yet. Do you guys plan to release them all at once? Wouldn't it be good if you worked on one game and released them individually?

Looking at the fact about how long its been so far, I guess they want to release the original games in a bunch.
Maybe not all but some games will be more attractive because it will attract different players base at the same time.
Release it one by one is not bad as long as it is followed by attractive offer/promotion or at least the game has a unique thing that we never seen before.
I'm wondering, didn't the development team give an ETA to the owner or to the marketing team on when the original games will be ready?

The only thing we can do is to wait for them to release their original game. Maybe they are still developing it and planning to release it once and for all. I agree that it's been a while since they announced it and there are others here that are actively waiting for the news or update about the game. I'm speculating that they will promote it once they release it on this forum and a signature campaign would be their way so yeah when the release their original game, I'm sure we will notice it all.
One thing with gambling sites is that,  once their lack the capacity of developing their original games they tend to rely on a long on other games vendors to supply their games and at most, the revenue is shared between the casino and games providers this has reduced the total revenue of the casino and that is why developing their own original games is better even though it may have immediate cost on the casino also requires some extra hands in terms of games developers.

But all the same, we can expect something huge from Flush,  since they have taken this long to come up with that and definitely it will be worth the wait.
3718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: June 19, 2023, 05:51:25 PM
The internet can provide the information we provide, but if we are not careful in finding the sources, we can misuse or analyze the information. We can use information from anywhere as a tool for analysis, but we must be able to get more information to get more clues. Bettors in sports betting know this, and usually, they already have trusted places that can provide valid information. That gives them the opportunity to analyze better than other bettors.

In this era, the information is easily available and it is only our effort to get the timely information and use it in our favour. For example, if you want to bet on a match, you can check the odds on multiple sites and then place the bet where you get the best odds. Also, you may see other sites' odds, to compare and decide on whom you should bet.

Similarly, there is so much feedback available for the casino sites on the internet and you also can get first-hand information about the latest development on different gambling sites.
The thing with information is that it has the potency to change your life and the directions of your thoughts and decision that could place you on a higher stake more than you expect,  but the problem is that,  how can we lay our hands on the right information that can really help us as per sa since it hard to neglect the false information since it readily circulated,  but we still have some right sources of information.

At some point,  it is proven that information is power and those with the right information will always make headways in their decision-making for gamblers.
3719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price, Where Next on: June 19, 2023, 05:12:14 PM
There is a bitcoin price game going on here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5455180.0 which you can see some different predictions. As for now, the price is some how stable in between 25k$ to 26k$ but before the end of the year we might see the increase of price to something like 35k$ to 40k$ before the halving and the bull then after the bull the price will be a little bit down for like 3 months and rise again.
Ok thank you for pointing me to that thread I have not taken notice of the prediction going on there but indeed upon a closer look at the thread I discovered that it is a bit different from what a Bitcoin speculation or analysis is.

In your price prediction and markets analysis,  you made an accurate speculation and also analyze the happening in and before the halving,  I am sure a lot of other speculators will predict a bull run after the bitcoin halving but also there is a possibility that the bull run may likely also come before the bitcoin halving event because we have a hard history of bull run few months before having.
3720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A discussion On Too Much Gambling Addiction Topic on: June 19, 2023, 04:23:26 PM
I have here two samples of topics about gambling addiction and both topics landed on the first page
so my point is we are helping this forum to gain more traffic and visitors if we have a unique and fresh topic and this is why what we advertise in our signature gets more leads.
Another thing is that we do not know any gambling addict that may search online about how to reduce gambling addiction, search engines will likely bring up what are new. New topics and active threads on this forum are more likely to be seen at the top, included on the search result.

The one I like most are the real-life happenings which some gamblers do bring to this forum. They are lessons people can learn for not to get addicted or to quit the addiction.
Oshosondy I agree with you on that because real-life topics/stories related to gambling addictions and their resultant effects on the victims are a big way to learn lessons faster,  e.g we used to discuss a gambler who lost about 1.4 million dollars bet and his selected game was based on sure odds which was low odds around 1.2 -1.5 or so.

That kind of story helped greatly since it gave us the chance to truly analyze a real-life situation and many members here all air their opinion on the incident even though we don't really know the victim in question. I
