3701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 23, 2021, 07:16:16 AM
It appears this Mexican Irishman has a plan hehehe. Caleb Plant might create some good rounds for himself, I reckon in the beginning. However, many boxing experts and commentators predict that Canelo will find his range, begin applying his tactics, shoulder rolls and cominations with power punches. Under 9.5 rounds according to Canelo’s own prediction.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SuJuZWobkuI

Is that under 9.5 rounds already have a betting odds?

I guess I'm willing to risk on that as long as the odds are good, knowing Canelo, although he is a slow starter, but once he sees an opportunity to KO an opponent, he would always take the opportunity and if Plant is only all talk, then for sure we can't expect this fight to end in 12 rounds.

Yes, it is presently available in Nitrogensports and Cloudbet. However, I think the odds are not very good but not very bad also. It is only fair odds hehehe. I am also not a professional sportsbettor. If I see bet offers I want that are more than 2.00 odds, they are good for me hehehehe.
3702  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL] What to expect from Bitcoin in 2022? on: October 23, 2021, 06:30:09 AM
@gabbie2010. You should begin to be cautious on 2022. You created your bitcointalk account on 2017, you should be familiar with the feeling of 2018 hehehe.

In any case, we see years after since 2014, Mt.gox appears to be here again to cause another dump on the market. Rehabilitation for the creditors will be finalized on November 20. Those creditors will receive 137,890 coins.

3703  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin ETF by 2nd quarter of 2021? on: October 23, 2021, 04:26:04 AM
I also disagree that the ETF hype is dead. It will come back again, all of you wait.

It appears everyone also thought I was an antagonizer when I was speculating bullishly on an ETF for bitcoin last year hehehe. I might have made a mistake on the timeline, however, the ETF hype might has clearly returned, very much not similar to much of everyone’s sentiment when the thread was created.

Similar to the bull markets before this, bitcoin bear market begins on December or January. The schedules of ETF approval go up to December 2021. I assume the ETF hype will go up to those dates also.
3704  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-08-10] AMC will accept bitcoin as payment for movie tickets by year end on: October 23, 2021, 03:28:21 AM
It appears that AMC has shown their real roadmap on why they have begun adopting and accepting cryptocoins. Similar to much of the creation of the altcoins, AMC also wants to create its own scamcoin to dump on the community. I reckon they are late 5 years hehehehe.

AMC’s stock price has soared this year on the back of the meme stock phenomenon, along with an increased focus on what its vocal social media fans demand—including accepting cryptocurrency payments. Now the movie theater chain may even be looking to roll out its own coin.

Source https://decrypt.co/84042/amc-accepts-dogecoin-could-soon-launch-crypto

Also, everyone should also read that AMC is not in a good situation financially. I have also read that they cannot issue common stock anymore. This is why they create their scamcoin hehehe.
3705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 22, 2021, 08:05:32 AM
@South Park. Thank you, I copied your post to a notepad for future reference hehe.

In any case, who was the lucky player who got D'Ernest Jones? If I read suchmoon’s post I would have cancelled my first choice waiver wire for Chris Evans which I also dropped. I added Kenyan Drake. What is everyone’s rating for him?

Yeah he was the fantasy of the week pick up but I'm not convinced on him actually doing well.  All their wrs are banged up and back up in.  Guarantee browns see a lot of 8 in the box daring them to pass.  If you are short an rb definately a good pickup but he isn't going to be the answer, rarely is a third stringer a ff darling.

Well I couldn't have been anymore wrong.  Dude tore it up tonight.  140 yards rushing and a td and topped it off with a couple catches for 22 yards.  He shredded Denver all night they had no answer for him.  Whoever has him contrats.

If I knew and studied the rules more closely D'Ernest Johnson would have been in my fantasy team hehe. Javonte Williams scored a touchdown for me, however. He gave me 11 fantasy points, 3 more than the projection. I am now hoping my other replacement running back, Kenyan Drake will give me at least 8 points.
3706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: October 22, 2021, 07:20:07 AM
That was really hard one to predict the fighters who would win. For the main bout with Ladd many blamed the coach for being too aggressive inbetween rounds with it coming down to being verbally abusive. I didn't see it if there was.

The next fight night this weekend should be easier to manage with Costa returning after along pause and these two have faced the current champion in their weight class Adesanya and lost.

This UFC fight night lines are available but from what I have seen so far they will change:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/mma/ufc/ufc-fight-night-costa-vs-vettori/matches

Couldn't really catch good footage of the "verbal abuse" but yeah as I mentioned a few days ago, am slightly surprised to hear that from this kind of competition. Isn't it supposed to be full of nails and grit and blood etc.? Shouldn't shouting me part of it? Heh. Hairdryers probably just out of the question then.

Adesanya, when does he fight again btw?
Adesanya was scheduled to fight Robert Whittaker for a rematch this november at madison square garden but it has been postponed until next year.
He is planning on moving his entire camp to the states. Probably due to covid restrictions traveling between UFC venues. Thus it not taking place during UFC 268 as it was first scheduled to be. The article is here:
https://www.mmafighting.com/2021/9/27/22695497/israel-adesanya-move-united-states-resume-career-never-fight-new-zealand

It appears that Israel Adesnya is very offended by the government of New Zealand for not giving an exception for the UFC to organize for his next championship fight in his country. It was very valuable to him. That event would have been a marketing dream for him because Robert Whitaker is from Australia.

@cabron. Robert Whitaker is given another chance by uncle Dana because he won versus everyone in the top rankings of middleweight except Adesanya after he fought Adesanya hehehe.
3707  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-10-14] U.S. Claims Top Spot For Bitcoin Mining As Miners Flee China ban on: October 22, 2021, 06:41:29 AM
@Kakmakr. The miners will then be under the tolerance of the government of the country where they move only if they want to tolerate them. You also get the drift?

I was not convinced in Asic resistance before and considered this useless. I supported the mining algorithm change for Aeon to K12 to make it easier for the development of Asics. This appears to be a mistake, however. Research for Asic resistance is very much needed to avoid the weaknesses of centralization and other threats on mining. We are witnessing it in bitcoin.
3708  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese construction Mega-Bankruptcy. Evergrande about to crash for 355B on: October 22, 2021, 05:00:57 AM
@doomloop. Those properties in the ghost cities were not built because the people could buy them. Much of those construction projects in China were built because it helped increase the country’s GDP artificially. What we are presently witnessing is the cost of this unmaintainable scam.
3709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 21, 2021, 05:06:57 AM
@nutildah. He is the runningback waiver wire pick up of the week according to fantasypros.com hehe.

D'Ernest Jones

D'Ernest Jones

Don't you guys mean D'Ernest Johnson?  Wait a minute... Did both of you guys just misspell an athletes name?   Shocked

I hope the alt police don't notice!

The waivers got away from me this week, I was thinking of swapping Chris Evans for a receiver.  Too late now.

The alt police always notice. This forum is taking very seriously. It is like a jihad here hehehe.

I had Chris Evans only for 1 day but I have dropped and replaced him with Kenyan Drake immediately after the Q beside his name.

I laughed when Vettori vs Costa was announced as the main event.

Costa blamed a bottle of wine for his loss to Adesanya. Vettori refuses to acknowledge both losses to Adesanya. Their reaction to losing are similar enough they could be MMA twins.   Cheesy

Interested to see Jessica Rose Clark fight. She seems to be improving her kickboxing. It will be cool to see how far she has come.

Alex Caceres came to the UFC from florida's street fighting circuit with Kimbo Slice and Jorge Masvidal. Its too bad Caceres couldn't make more of his career in the UFC. He's always had good potential but never been able to fully realize it.

I like Laureano Staropoli's kickboxing technique and stance switching. That's another name who started out strong in the UFC and underperformed IMO. The same may also be said of Khama "Deathstar" Worthy.

Francisco "Massarunduba" Trinaldo is 43 years old. Its crazy how some of these guys continue to compete longer than anyone thought possible.

Grant Dawson is 17-1. A really good record for MMA. Wonder if he can hang on to it.

Similar to you, I am also very interested to see Jessica Rose Clark. She is the our cute sexy fighting kitten for this UFC event hehehe. Tabatha Ricci might also be a sexy fighting kitten, however, she is a little teapot, short and stout if we compare to Jessica Clark.

Her uterus is ready to bear Superman’s child!

@SFR10. You might be correct. They can use their acceptance for cryptocoin payments as part of their marketing and promotion and say that AMC is a company that embraces the blockchain hehehe. However, would larping be the only positive way cryptocoins would be useful for them?
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: October 20, 2021, 06:23:24 AM
@nutildah. What time did you claim for D'Ernest Jones in the waiver wire? I am trying claim him also, I did it  yesterday, about 5 AM forum time hehehe. Does the waiver wire give it to the person who claimed the player first?

Also, what is everyone’s rating for runningback Chris Evans of the Bengals?
3715  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance exchange KYC update on: October 20, 2021, 05:49:45 AM
It appears that the stricter exchanges have become, they have caused a new marketplace for fake identity to open hehe. This marketplace should be very useful for the citizens of China who do not want to stop trading using the centralized exchanges of the cryptospace.

For law-abiding cryptocurrency users, getting verified to trade on an exchange is a painstaking process. They must give out a wealth of personal data, including their home addresses, scans of government-issued ID, and photo or video selfies.

For criminals, it’s easier. They can pay as little as $150 on the black market for a ready-to-use, verified account in someone else’s name at Coinbase Pro, Binance US, Kraken or numerous other exchanges, a CoinDesk investigation found.

To be clear: “verified” in this context does not mean legitimate. Underground vendors create these accounts with other people’s identities or under made-up names, tricking the exchanges into verifying them as valid users. They then advertise these verified accounts for sale on internet forums and on Telegram.

3716  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KuCoin is freezing my funds and not providing adequate customer supporr on: October 20, 2021, 04:56:19 AM
@Kapitalism. Exchanges customer support are rated bad to very bad everywhere. However, how were you locked out from your own account? I have more than 3 accounts in different exchanges, all with KYC but I have never been locked out in any of them. You should improve your record keeping and back up everything in a safe place before you deposit more than $1000 on an exchange.
3717  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-10-14] U.S. Claims Top Spot For Bitcoin Mining As Miners Flee China ban on: October 20, 2021, 04:06:13 AM
@SFR10. I am not certain why they chose America, however, there were articles written that the environment in there is presently welcoming for bitcoin mining in some areas of the country. But we witnessed from China that this can change instantly.
3718  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese construction Mega-Bankruptcy. Evergrande about to crash for 355B on: October 19, 2021, 07:13:07 AM
According to this article, it appears that Beijing might not bail out China Evergrande Group and other Chinese property developers. I reckon this is good. This is how real capitalism is supposed to be. I shake my head when people say they support capitalism, however, when everything begins to dump they expect a government bail out.

With Chinese high-yield issues experiencing their worst selloff in a decade, murmurs are growing that China is poised to blink and relent on its property tightening measures. That hope was shattered on Friday. At a news briefing, the People’s Bank of China broke its silence on China Evergrande Group and said financial risks posed by distressed property developer, which is on the brink of a $300 billion debt restructuring, is “controllable.” That is a code word for “no bailouts.” The central bank tossed the blame to Evergrande. “In recent years, the company failed to manage its business well and to operate prudently amid changing market conditions,” an official said. “Instead it blindly expanded and diversified.”

3719  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-08-10] AMC will accept bitcoin as payment for movie tickets by year end on: October 19, 2021, 05:29:14 AM
As I predicted hehehe. AMC is beginning to accept altcoins for payments and it has chosen the jokiest of jokes altcoin to adopt.

US-based movie theatre chain AMC Theatres have officially allowed payments in popular meme-based cryptocurrency, Dogecoin. The transaction will be facilitated by Georgia, US-based Bitcoin payment service provider called BitPay. People will be able to buy AMC gift cards with a maximum limit of $200 (roughly Rs. 14,970). Since these gift cards will be valid for usage at other stores as well, this development will indirectly propel Dogecoin into several businesses. The cryptocurrency is affordable, allowing more people to buy and use the gift cards.

My next prediction will be an announcement from AMC of removing their acceptance of cryptocoins because of low sales through these mediums of payment and because of regulatory uncertainty. Similar to this story.

United Wholesale Mortgage, which made its public debut in January via a special purpose acquisition (SPAC) merger, began piloting crypto payments in August in an industry first.

CEO Mat Ishbia tells CNBC that after testing it out, the company decided it wasn’t worth it. “Due to the current combination of incremental costs and regulatory uncertainty in the crypto space we’ve concluded we aren’t going to extend beyond a pilot at this time,” said Ishbia.

3720  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2021-10-14] U.S. Claims Top Spot For Bitcoin Mining As Miners Flee China ban on: October 19, 2021, 04:36:57 AM
According to Wublockchain’s Twitter account, because of Kazakhstan's uncertain regulatory policies and uncertain stability of electricity supply, miners have begun migrating to America. This causes more centralization on bitcoin mining again and we are back to possible government threats similar to China. I am shaking my head why some maximalists are celebrating.

Some big miners told us that due to Kazakhstan's uncertain policy and the lack of electricity in winter, they are migrating to the United States, and the United States seems to be the only suitable Bitcoin mining destination now.
