3701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why women are the minority in crypto land? on: July 03, 2021, 02:41:02 AM
Risk aversion.

Women are not prone to take huge risk, unlike us, who gambles almost all of our life.  Grin

But in any case though, I saw women emerging in digital technologies in the last 4 years. So maybe the balance will tip a bit in the next coming years. Maybe they could held good positions in a blockchain related companies. So their decision making is the key.
3702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 03, 2021, 02:04:21 AM

Could be, and hopefully we fans are going to see this great fight. Maybe they can do out of court settlement, I'm sure Sean Gibbons and Manny has hired an attorney already to face the lawsuit and do everything to resolved it.

Manny Pacquiao is a Senator in the Philippines, he surely is familiar with the law as his job requires him to be. Don't worry about this mess, it's just a small problem and Manny will be able to settle this problem without ruining his reputation. Also, he has a lot of lawyers that will take care of this problem.

Manny's focus now is training, that's it.

Yes, I know that he is a Senator in the Philippines, but this is a very different field. The law is not the same here, he needs to hire someone that has experience as far as boxing litigation is concern. I agree that this is a problem, but it's not that small. It involves huge amount of money, $3 million in PHP is already big. So he will have to shoulder everything here before we can see him fight Errol Spence Jr.
3703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's transaction volume in 2029 on: July 03, 2021, 01:12:09 AM
You don't need to look far beyond, you just have to observed how large the volume is today in 2021 and say that obviously, the transaction will increase in time. And by that time, "almost all bitcoin" are going to be mined, so the supply and dwindling, but the demand will still be there that can push the price and obviously the transaction volumes.
3704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent can sport be strengthened with cryptocurrencies on: July 02, 2021, 02:24:16 AM
We have seen sports athletes asking for bitcoin or any crypto as payments already. And then we have football clubs being sponsored by crypto sports bookies. And as far as I can remember, LTC was once promoted in UFC, it's logo on the center of Octagon. Stake sponsored Israel Adesanya. F1 strikes a deal with crypto.com.

So I guess we have seen the beginning already and it could trigger more crypto being promoted in any sports, so it will become global.
3705  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price Prediction: $350k before the end of 2022 on: July 02, 2021, 01:45:37 AM
It's too optimistic to think like Bitcoin price will be reaching $350k in only one and a half years. I would be really happy if the price reaches even $100k in one year. I think that we need more time to see levels like $350k. It is maybe more than 2 years which we really need.

$100,000 will be the obvious goal first before we can talk $350,000. $100,000 is achievable this year, the last all time high is $64,000 so just a thousands of dollars and we might get into it. Although the price really dip in the last 2 months, hopefully at the end of the year 6 digits can be reach.

And then we will have to see if it can gathered enough momentum in the next 2 years. There could be super bullish cycle and that the supposedly 4 year cycle might turn into 2 cycles of like 3 years. So let's see how it goes.
3706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 02, 2021, 01:17:24 AM
I read that Manny is going to continue with his training in this fight. So barring all circumstances, this fight can still happen and that the distraction lawsuit could be settled out of court.

He really need to be active and prepared in case the fight happens this August. Manny though is an active body, he plays basketball even if he is not fighting.

So it's not yet over, we still have our chances to see Pacquiao vs Spence this age, just crossed our fingers. I personally don't like Garcia vs Pacquiao, the thrill and excitement is in this fight.

Could be, and hopefully we fans are going to see this great fight. Maybe they can do out of court settlement, I'm sure Sean Gibbons and Manny has hired an attorney already to face the lawsuit and do everything to resolved it.
3707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 02, 2021, 12:09:55 AM
...//...:

I am glad that Murray won the second round, but the third round will be his end station. Shapovalov, the nr 10 seed, should win this and will probably do it in 3 sets.

This afternoon Federer will play his second round against Gasquet, I hope Federer will win but he needs to step up his game. In his first round against Mannarino, he made a lot of unforced errors.

Old Andy (34) Smiley is still a young man compared to Federer (39), it's actually nice to see this kind of comeback or attempt.

Less and less favorite but always with one acceptable odds for a second round  +/- 1.29 Federer is in my parley today.

Federer won his match clearly in 3 sets after a long first set.

Djokovic is definitely the favorite in the tournament after the many cancellations and the early departure of Tsitsipas. Federer will win one or the other match in Wimbledon anymore but I can't imagine Federer winning against Djokovic. The next challenger for the Wimbledon title is probably Zverev.

Yeah, he is slowly getting into the groove, his fore hand is still crazy, finding those angles with different speed.

He broke Gasquet on the second set and that's what all he needed. The first set was close but he also blasted him in the tie break. Surprisingly, Nick Kyrgios also won. Fognini vs Rublev, I think Rublev will win this one probably in 4 sets.
3708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you pay with Bitcoin whenever you're able to? on: July 01, 2021, 02:35:33 AM
As long as merchants are willing to accept Bitcoin, then I will definitely go for it. I guess everyone needs to experience it, instead of just holding it for a long time. I've seen people who went 100% full on crypto, so I guess if they have to pay someone or something then obviously they have to used it at some point. No problem with being a holder, but if we truly want Bitcoin to be universally accepted, then we should start using it.
3709  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Gathers Upside Momentum, Faces Resistance Near $40K on: July 01, 2021, 01:43:34 AM
We’re in a relatively tight trading range at the moment. There is a big fight between bulls & bears to control which way the price moves. I think a break to the upside is not too far away. We have hit low 30k’s numerous times now & there are clearly many willing buyers in that area. I expect a break above 40k in July & a continued upward trajectory, making several ath’s before 2022.

We need to break $40,000 if we want to have a good run this July. Unfortunately the upside that the OP is talking about is short lived, meaning the bears is trying to take control of the market again. I haven't heard any FUD anymore, but the market is relatively quite, volume just so-so. One thing that can go for us is that we are in the start of the month, so hopefully we wanted to see the price moves up. So let's remain optimistic that the whole number $40,000 could be broken this month.
3710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 01, 2021, 12:56:14 AM
Good to hear that Andy Murray won in the second round against Otte. It's a five setter, so it's gruelling match for him. He will be facing now a tough opponent on Shapovalov, so not sure if he can muster enough energy to win again.

Lots of good match in the third round, maybe it's time to bet and do some parlay betting here. Start with Djokovic and then with Rublev vs Fognini + Shapovalov.
3711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: July 01, 2021, 12:19:13 AM
It was reported before that Manny is asking too much against Crawford, but if he wins here, Bob Arum might go for that big asking because he knows Manny would attract big fights and fans are already allowed to watch in the arena.

It makes sense that Manny Pacquiao is asking a big amount of winnings against Crawford because even with the reputation of this boxer, the distance between him and Manny is also too much. Crawford would have a big paycheck just for accepting the fight. Manny is the one who will attract the most viewers and even sold out all tickets and PPVs.

It's also the same with the fight with Errol Spence as Manny will take the most percentage of revenues which it should be. Manny is close to retirement and he's just picking a worthy fight alongside big paychecks.
That’s why his previous agency sues him, because they’ve loss the opportunity to make that much money and now this fight is at risk if Manny can’t settle this. Manny has a good reputation and that’s why he’s asking for that huge money and he deserve it because of so many titles that he had. Whoever fights Manny, is already a big pleasure plus the money that they can get so it can still be a win win situation for both boxer.

Right, and they are asking for the advance payment only, I'm not sure if Manny has received that money or not though. Maybe he is and he can just return it back and then fight Crawford. Win or lose if they are still interested on Manny vs Garcia then that's another options as well. So yes, still a win win situation for anyone involved. It's just the question of money, we all know that in boxing, there's a lot of money involved and promoters is taking a risk, that's why when they heard that Manny vs Crawford is going to happen, they have to file a lawsuit and just try to recoup the money they have lost.
3712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to libra coins on: June 30, 2021, 02:48:24 AM
~ I thought that libra will be boom by the coming years.because I saw it that this coin was been popular because of facebook.and was been using already purchasing in internet online.but now what happened? Is libra now is gone?
Libra had a lot of regulatory issues and many of their partners withdrew. The companies who still support the project decided to rebrand it to Diem but I'm not updated about Diem's status now. It seems they are still dealing with the same problem with authorities.

I think its a really big project since its have to deals with authorities, they wont get in trouble in the future so its need to be prepared.
Or it is just to create the momentum of hypes?
It seems you're not really familiar with Libra's case. Try to go back and read previous articles before saying they won't get into trouble. Come back here and tell me again what you think (although I'm not expecting you would do that).

Agree, it's over for Libra now, maybe we can see another Facebook crypto, but it's going to be difficult for them. They are so powerful that government around the globe are afraid of Mark so they have to cut it off last year i I'm not mistaken.

The best thing for Facebook is to really adopt Bitcoin, for sure it will be easy for them, but they seems to have a anti-bitcoin sentiments.
3713  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Breaking : Donaire Versus Casimero on: June 30, 2021, 02:07:32 AM
The trash talking from both sides reminds me of the Trump vs. Biden presidential debates. I don't know how getting in the gutter is going to help promote this fight. It is only making them look bad.
Trash talking is very normal and some great fighters prove that those who trash talk will suffer big time on the ring so I don’t see the reason why they are going to cancel the fight if Casimero didn’t stop from talking non-sense. That’s very unprofessional for both teams, they should push this one and stop crying for both sides.
people who have become professionals they shouldn't talk too much and immediately end it by dueling and showing the strength of who will be the winner after that happens I'm sure they won't often talk rubbish to each other because it's been proven by the battles they've done.

I think the trash talking is all for the wrong reasons though, so I agree that they shouldn't attack each other personally. Much better if Casimero will just zip his mouth and just respect his fellow Filipino here. Of course we love to hear them trash talk to promote the fight, but I don't know, I have a feeling that it seems they are trying to hard to do it, specially John Riel.
3714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Estrada vs Gonzalez Trilogy - Oct 16 on: June 30, 2021, 01:01:42 AM
Good that Estrada is true to his words after he won the second fight. He said that he will give Gonzalez a third fight because it was really close. I will go with Estrada here, I think Gonzalez has shown wear and tear during the last fight. This is probably his last fight as he is no longer in his prime and probably just wanted to exit with a bang (good pay check).

But Chocolatito throws more punches in the second fight, so I think as far as volume punching, it should be Gonzalez. So the second fight is really debatable, it's a UD win for Estrada but it can go either way. And with that said, this is still winnable for Chocolatito, and I don't think that age is a big factor for him as obviously he can still throw 100 punches per round.
3715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 30, 2021, 12:23:32 AM
For me, Alexander Zverev is also a contender for the title alongside Djokovic. Many games have already been interrupted, is it raining in London right now?
What you mean right now, it is always raining in London  Grin Sorry, had to write it since I really hate those rain delays. At least they have one stadium with roof so one match is always going on.

Zverev is my pick for the final from that part of draw. Tsitsipas loss did not surprise me much, he was never good on grass and Tiafoe is good player when in form.

Well Zverev is one of the main favorites for the semi final and final. Dominated today while all the other favorites struggled a lot. Federer could have lost in the first round if Mannarino didnt get injured in this match and had to retire. Federer wont make it long, his time is up

Correct, Mannarino come back from 1-0 and won the next 2 sets. However, it seems that he over extended that's why he lost the 4th sets. Federer is a tad slower, it's obvious that his no longer in his prime.

Zverev won in straight sets, he has a good opponent in Griekspoor. It's just the first round, I'm sure there will be surprises coming.
3716  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Weekly Dead Cat Bounce ending, $10K price target coming soon. on: June 28, 2021, 03:27:13 AM
Bitcoin Weekly Dead Cat Bounce ending
Bitcoin Price
Soon to be below $30K
A few more dead cat bounces
Next to be below $20K
A few more dead cat bounces
Final Destination $10K

Happy Trading  Smiley

Buying Opportunity at $10k, anything before that is you just giving money away.  Wink

You're just expecting far away from reality my friend, just be optimistic within the target range. Right now we're at critical situation in which the possibility of bullrun or bearish could initiate randomly. Predictions this year is unknown and crucial for all of us, that's why we have to be more careful on our every actions to avoid mistakes.

Perhaps his crystal ball is telling that price, LOL.

Yeah for sure there are dead cat bounces around, but the bounces is more of the upside. We fall ~$30,000 but we quickly recovered by from it. Of course who wouldn't want to see the price going to $10,000 so that we can buy and fill our bags. But so far it ain't happening as the support is strong, good to see a 4% increase in the last 24 hours. Indicating that speculators and investors are buying. Just a question on when is the drop again. Because we have been attempting to break that $40,000 barrier many times already and we always failed.
3717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Tank Davis vs Barrios - June 26 on: June 28, 2021, 02:55:24 AM
Wasn't Davis almost matched up against Garcia? What happened to that that now it's a different opponent for both sides. I don't know much about Barrios but given that Davis won this bout, I am pretty sure that a Garcia vs Davis match up was the one that we should've been given too. Hopefully in the near future, we might be able to get that.

Garcia was supposed to fight another boxer, unfortunately it was cancelled because he had admitted that he has mental problems to deal with first. Yes, there was so much talk about a Garcia vs Davis, but Davis has move up to 140 lbs. But if the money is right, he could go back down again and face Garcia in the future. And we are not yet sure if he will stay at this weight, maybe he was just testing himself.
3718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lomachenko vs Nakatani June 26 on: June 28, 2021, 02:12:18 AM
Vasiliy Lomachenko displayed a masterclass for all the fight fans to see and it was magnificent performance against Masayoshi Nakatani and every move he made was exceptional and was able to finish him in the later rounds and i would love to see the rematch now with Teófimo López and that would be a great fight and i doubt whether Teófimo López will be willing to do a rematch.

He said he is willing in one of his interviews, let's hope he will not change his mind though. We've seen an old Loma here, a well-conditioned Loma that is ready to dominate his opponent, he was not in a rush, he took it slowly but surely until his opponent's body was not able to handle the attack anymore.

A rematch of Loma vs. Lopez would sell out Madison Square Garden. If it's a close fight they could even have a trilogy. Lomachenko is a fighter than can adapt really well to any circumstance. In both his losses his problem was that he waited too long to make adjustments. Having learned from the first fight, I don't think he will make the same mistake again.

Loma is a thinking boxing, however, that shoulder injury might have really affected his performance against Lopez. And I agree, a heatlhy Loma will be a different fighter, that's why it's very intriguing to see a rematch. The best version of each other, Lopez trash talking and then Loma talking it personally. Boxing fans will for sure wait for this fight to happen, whether Madison or Las Vegas or Dallas Cowboy stadium, it will sell and bring fans to the arena.
3719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Prediction for 2024 on: June 27, 2021, 03:38:23 AM
Seems a realistic prediction.
2017 : $19,900
2021 : above $60,000
Tripled the 2017 ATH.
Now, If we're to calculate the same for the next 4 year cycle.
It could be around $180,000.
$240,000 is still a realistic prediction for me because Bitcoin price tends to surpass our prediction/expectations.

There's no wrong prediction anyway.

And I think this also in the range of the S2F model prediction. Although if I'm not mistaken, they are still looking at 6 digits around this year. In any case we didn't hit it, maybe in the next halving, we might finally see BTC=$100,000 or more.

So still a long way to go for us, we just had our halving this year, we have seen the effects of it and we hit the last all time high at $64,000. So let's see how the end the year price will be, hopefully we can get to close to that at least.
3720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Manny Pacquiao vs Errol Spence Jr - August 21 on: June 27, 2021, 02:53:52 AM
It is looking uncertain whether this fight will happen. Pacquiao is being sued by his manager Audie Attar for breach of contract. Attar's company Paradigm Sports was negotiating a Pacquiao vs. Mikey Garcia fight when Pacquiao instead decided to sign a contract for the Spence fight.

https://theathletic.com/news/manny-pacquiao-faces-lawsuit-saying-he-veered-from-mikey-garcia-for-errol-spence/42bUGIF0hGnL

Damn, that's a big money involved, $3 million ++. So we might be deprived of the fight if Attar will pursue this case (if no Manny settlement outside). Just history repeating itself again for Pacquiao. He just surround himself with people who really don't know the ins and outs o boxing and just making deals.

Remember his previous advisor? Michael Koncz? and now Sean Gibbons. Let's do hope that we can still see Pacquiao vs Spence this year.
