Banks and crypto doesnt have good terms. Thats what most of us think. Would it be better if there would be this kind of “bitcoin bank” where has the same function of bank but all transactions would be based on crypto ? For example
*you can buy or sell cryptocurrency legally ( because central bank approves this if ever)
*you can have this kind of secured crypto savings account who doesnt get hacked
*you can loan crypto for initial capital investment for trading and others
*you can send crypto to someones account limitless without fees.
Is this even possible? What would be the effect if the government impost this?
I don't think that this will be a great idea since the idea of Bitcoin is more on self managing and freedom. Also, the examples you are saying is just like the functions of alot of exchanges online expect the loan thing. It is great but having a site with secured crypto "savings account" is not that easy to say since exchanges are saying the same thing but they are still being hacked. I am ok on how I manage my coins rather than letting the government hold it for me. |

Haha, This one is probably an alt of a bitter poster that can't rank up due to this new system or whatsoever. Well, Definitely this user is a close-minded person. That He/she can't see through the good benefit that the new system can bring to the whole community.
A lot of users here can't appreciate the beauty of this merit system. Yes, It's hard to rank up, and not all people will truly appreciate your posts but the thing is some make this system as a burden for them which relatively wrong. Why not make this system as a challenge, to improve your skills and knowledge.
Before saying "merit is a Garbage" try to look at yourself first. If you can't fit with the new system then, who's the garbage now?

What the OP do not know is that that post is the start of the meme that is now popular to crypto currency users which is the term HODL. Broadcasting of national tv is a good idea.
It will help the bitcoin world to be more famous nationwide.
I do not know how will bitcoin be advertised in the national TV since ICOs and exchanges are the only one I can see on sites and some of the social media. And I think even without advertising bitcoin in the Television, it will still be as popular as it is. |

Bitcoin isn't attached to a state or government, so itu doesn't have a central issuing authority or regulatory body, bassically, that means there's no organizational deciding when to make more bitcoins, digiring out how many to produce, kering track of where they are, so how does bitcoin work as a currency ?
Sadly, Bitcoin is not really taken or used as a currency since it is decentralized and volatile. It is popular as an asset, an investment where in you risk or put your money into so you can earn some profit through time. I will consider bitcoin as a currency if the transacting bitcoin is mainly used for payment or buying stuff online, if bitcoin is accepted by the governments of the world and if the price becomes stable. |

I don't like bitcoin because of its volatile prices !! The bitcoin price is inflated big players like a soap bubble. This prevents the earnings.
Volatility is the reason why more people are investing on it. When price moves either down or up, people tend to invest and hold their bitcoins for a good profit through time. We can say that it is manipulated but I earned a lot from it so you can't say that these "big players" are preventing the earnings. |

If you fail to hold and sell off in panic then you will lose. People are holding because they are already down and if they sell off then they will lose. It is only when you hold that if the price appreciate then your profit will come.
That is a common strategy for a bitcoin or other digital currency holder. If the price dips, we hold and if the price pumps, let's wait for it to dump a little bit before selling it since most of the investors tend to have fun in the pump times rather than taking that advantage of selling off their holdings for a better profit, better sell it before it dumps right. |

But it also depends on where you are comfortable with and is used to playing. We all have our favorites and where we are comfortable with playing and if one is not used to playing games online then I don't think it will work out. And if I were to choose I'd rather choose gambling than playing online games because I could make money out of it.
That makes sense but if you think of it, there are a lot of gambling games online where you don't really need a money, your money to bet but it has a currencies in that game that has no real price but it is just used in that game. You can still enjoy the time you are gambling and being entertained and also not losing even a single dime. |

Before you do such an investment, you need to do your own research and only invest money that you are willing to loose.
The only thing that you can do right now is hold and hope that price will go up again in the near future.
Which I think might take some time. Bitcoin's price will not pump that easily back to it's ATH or even close to $19000. The only thing we can do is to wait for it to reach there, well you don't have any choice since you will be losing your investment if you sell it all now. This will be a good lesson for you and other people who wants to invest on digital currency. |

It looks like it hit support at 6000, do you think it was a bottom? I am considering to go from fiat into bitcoin heavily. Do you think it can jump back to 10000 USD at least or will fall lower than 6000 USD? I dont like this negative fud around the cryptocuriencies now regarding regulations and India and Tether FUD. Its really hard to make any decisions now. ;( What are you guys doing? Just staying outside the market in February or go all in now?
6000$ is to big value as well, i will re-invest in Bitcoin when it touch 3500$. i hope so  It is not a possible price since the bitcoin price is going down quickly, but I don't think it will not go down through $5000. With the price this time, a lot of people of thinking that they could invest now since the price are still going down, but we still do not know when it will last since there might be some investors that could take this opportunity and might take the price up and continues that way, well bitcoin is a volatile digital currency, we don't know what may happen. |

Maybe yes, maybe not. Yes cause Bitcoin is in your account that only you can be access (you have your password). But what if you forgot to log it out, hackers are everywhere which is not safe... Be alert always. ☺
If you have your own computer, even if that bitcoin wallet is logged in for a lot of days it will not be hacked. Maybe if you went into a cafe which is renting PCs to be used and you forgot your logged in account there, that will not be hacked but being irresponsible. Hackers cannot hack that easily bitcoin wallets because if they can do, bitcoin will never reach such price heights. |

Why will "every" country construct a crypto subject in their schools? They can even learn that by just surfing the internet, they do not need to pay for a tuition for it. If bitcoin will be recognized by the world, then I think bitcoin will never be a thing since it will never be a decentralized bitcoin. The common reason why the government do not like bitcoin is that it is decentralized, so if the world recognize bitcoin, that means it is not decentralized. |

It is not unusual for bitcoin to drop since bitcoin is always doing this for year now. Last year dump also happened and it did not last. It is the first month of the year and a lot more month will be coming, that means there is a lot of other months that will come and it still has a lot of time to pump. You don't need to worry, just buy some since the price is low it is the perfect time to invest.
