3701  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you learn about crypto trading? on: February 04, 2022, 07:32:00 PM
Trading is not about making money
It is actually about making money, multiplying our investments and choosing the cryptocurrencies or stocks that you think will grow your capital.

but it is also requires a lot of patience, knowledge, skill, risk management, money management and self control. As a trader you need this qualities to become successful.

When it comes to trading, you need to protect your money by understanding your risks and knowing how to manage your money carefully to avoid huge losses.
And having the strategy that even may not be perfect but it's benefiting you with your trades. All of those points are important which is also part of not being greedy.
3702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 04, 2022, 05:49:16 PM
Exactly, there goes the set for the fight. As what I've read about the crowd, it's not just about being booed or cheering down the away fighter.
Yeah, I've forgotten that Casimero has been into this whole thing for his life and it won't matter to him anymore if there goes the fans that would subject him after the fight.

Casimero seen that as motivation, not just a trash talk but bringing his opponent inside the trash in front of the fans..

No doubt that he already overcome this kind of situation and he's more on the fight and focusing on how he will beat his opponents

the booed is just an echo and he can switch that to a music that will bring him the win. Nothing in terms of affecting him hearing those

trash outside the ring, he will embarrass those people if he has that power to do so, knocking their champ in their faces.
Well, the echo isn't going to matter to him anymore. Once a person like him is starting to be just like someone else, he's already used to it. We don't know how tough he went through his life and we may only see the few version of him. But there's a deeper way of living that he's gone through and for sure that toughness he has right now not only on the boxing ring is giving him the reason to keep moving. So, him being a boxer and having a strong personality really is sinking on him and he can't be done that quickly emotionally.
3703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A little reminder why Bitcoin is necessary on: February 04, 2022, 03:38:46 PM
Each platform that has have their own rules when it regards to account matters. They can really terminate an account if it violated any of their rules but here's the catch. I have seen those people that have banned account in PayPal without knowing in which part they've violated because they don't even disclose. They've asked politely on what violation did they made for them to have PayPal's hammer into them but, it's the same reply with most of them. There's no disclosure of the reason and that's really something to be worried for if you're an avid user of this company.
3704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: February 04, 2022, 11:01:26 AM
Honestly, I've experienced panic! since I bought Bitcoin at $50000, and now the price has dropped to $37000,
how not to panic huh? and indeed I have sold 50% of my Bitcoin assets, and waiting to buy at a low price, reportedly Bitcoin will go down again,
but for now I still have the intention to buy altcoins only, some of my chosen altcoins are CKB and Algo.
That's always the case for those investors that have bought during the peak. But you're not alone with that experience because there are plenty of investors that have also bought during the peak and just held. In your case, you've sold half of it at losses and that's cutting loss which is also a strategy. At what price you've sold bitcoin with the half? If you see that you'll eventually recover through buying altcoin assets then that's for you to decide, it's possible to recover that way and you should choose those altcoins that you're familiar.
3705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 03, 2022, 09:07:32 PM
Yes, it's all been set and that's final since there's no other news about the rescheduling. I've just said about the fans thing in the new venue because there were some comments that tells how the fans are there.
But needless to say, it's all set and we just have to wait until that day comes and let's just all hope for the best not only for the match but also for the live crowd to enjoy it.
It is scheduled in April, so there you go, we have a date already. As for the crowd, I guess it's just normal for any boxers to be booed or fight in a environment wherein the fans are against them. Nevertheless, Casimero have seen worst, Lol. And not just him but there are a lot of Filipino boxers as well who love to fight their opponents on their own turf. I'm sure everyone is exciting already for this fight and to see Casimero again in the ring.

3706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Hold is Gold on: February 03, 2022, 12:17:43 PM
I see the bitcoin market is going down in price and alcoins are also dropping in price when conditions like this are a great opportunity to buy alcoins like eth and bnb coin and hold. I firmly believe that in the future the price of eth and bnb coins will rise.
That's the case in the market, if bitcoin drops, expect that the whole market will follow it. Those coins are good to hold and in OPs situation is different.
There's really the difference of holding meme coins and good cryptocurrencies. No need to think of the bad situation if you're holding the cryptos that you trust the most.
3707  Economy / Speculation / Re: How come BTC is not at least $75,000 yet? on: February 03, 2022, 10:28:14 AM
The USD is losing value. The EUR is losing value. All national coins are inflationary, energy prices are through the roof and still BTC is only $36,500! People should buy BTC like crazy, this is something I don't understand, they keep using the crappy FIAT instead. FIAT will all make you poor! Don't come crying here after when BTC hits $100K, but FIAT is the worst investment someone can make these days. BTC is still cheap as peanuts considering its potential, too bad people don't see it, have fun staying poor and keep making those bankers rich. Unbelievable.
It is okay. I understand that due to the debt that has been reported from these big countries, there should be some reaction in the bitcoin market. But as said, there's no need to rush. It will come eventually and we're going to be at favor once it happens.
We're almost at that price but it was rejected. Let's wait for the reversal and who knows if this assumed year of bear will break that cycle and we're going for another bull round.
3708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 03, 2022, 09:04:49 AM
I've just based it from the few comments about the locals there. But I'm hoping that the best still happens and they'll prove that they're one of the best crowd, hopefully.
I'm looking for some updates and it seems that there's no current update and the date is not going to change and that's final already. Just two months from now and we're going to see the action.
There will be no more reschedule because WBO already game a warning to Casimero, either to lose the belt or fight Butler in UK.
Fans will always be a fan but of course those who silently bet on these two boxer will surely have something on their mind about trash talking as well. April is getting near, these boxers should focus on their trainings now, because its now or never.

3709  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: February 03, 2022, 07:41:53 AM
I'm going to quote this picture:

Source: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5384056.0
February looks good historically, but this year is exceptional, we haven't seen it reach its peak ($100k) next year.
Positive hint: We started the year with a low price and also the month, so it will be a positive month anyway.

Will we return to 40k, 50k, 60k or more, this is must be your question
This is a good table for the historical prices of bitcoin for the month of February. I guess if history repeats itself then this month is going to be better and not confusing to the others.
And after that, what we need to worry and be ready is with the month of March. That month is always where the drops have been showing and just as much as we know, we should prepare more for that month only if the table is going to do the same result.
3710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [LIST]Countries Where Gambling Is Illegal on: February 02, 2022, 05:29:30 PM
I have watched some entertaining videos about gambling in Japan. I thought that it's legal there since those people in the video I've watched are gambling in a casino but until I've read this and searched for the situation of gambling there, I've understood that it's just a form of entertainment.

Conclusion:It's fascinating how some countries completely declaring gambling as illegal while implementing some amendments just to still sneak gambling in there country for there own personal gains reason. Learning different countries gambling laws make me realize that govenment can't totally suppress gambling activities. There's still a lot of people playing online gambling despite the danger involves by doing it.
It's their country and their rule shall govern whatever industry that they want. They also just can't ignore the huge tax that's flowing on it.
3711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 02, 2022, 11:53:11 AM
Well, there's another exciting moment that we're going to wait for this match. Not just all about the boxers but as well as the reaction of the fans. But I'm hoping that this is going to be a good crowd and there won't be trouble caused by them which is going to reflect their future events and fights that shall be made on their land. It will be the reflection of their area and there won't possibly more fights if the crowd gets violent after seeing their fighter gets knockout.
Nothing beats out the essence or ambiance when there's crowd on a specific fight or in all possible events yet we've missed those cheers and boo's from the audience.I dont really believe
much about being getting violent if their player or fighter do lose but of course there would be some frustration but this is something a normal reaction to have.
I dont see for this situation to be over soon but lets hope that everything would come back to normal so that these upcoming fights is something that really worth to look upon.
3712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Always have an exit strategy on: February 02, 2022, 10:32:23 AM
Every investor or trader has a different strategy, even if hold when the market is falling like this is the wrong decision.
You're right and if that strategy seems to be wrong for you, to me, it's not.

every decision we take has the potential to be wrong because market conditions are difficult to predict.
And if you've done wrong decisions in the past, that's going to be your standard and foundation that you're not going to do the same mistake that you did in the past. As for me, I did wrong decision in the past for selling my bitcoins and now I regret it. But, it's not too late to hold and accumulate again.

Buying when the price has strengthened is reasonable but it does not rule out the possibility that it will be a bull trap and damage the strategy we have prepared and we must set up a new strategy to minimize losses or even turn losses into profits.
Always anticipate those situations and as long as it won't matter to you and you're good at buying it without regret, that's the most important matter whenever you buy.
3713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Launching a new cryptocurrency in the field of aircraft manufacturing on: February 02, 2022, 09:26:09 AM
Hello
In this topic, I want to introduce our startup and also know your opinion about this idea.
This startup was created with the idea of building an airplane for the general public.
So we formed our design team and designed the ideal model with low production costs and high safety. In this design, flight comfort for the pilot is well considered.
Is it that you're compromising the safety of a plane if you're just going with a low cost production? I think being in aircraft business is one of the most expensive cost in manufacturing and if you're saying that there's a way about low cost yet high safe in standard, you should give the idea on how that works. It is because we're not all experts and fond of the knowledge about aircraft business and manufacturing.

In order to finance this startup, we intend to launch an ico. In this topic, we are going to introduce this startup, so I want to know your opinion about this idea?
Also our team needs a new member in the field of cryptocurrency
Also, I would be thankful to know your experience in setting up ico
I don't think you need an ICO but you need a series funding if you really are going to work on this project.
3714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't ever quit your job to trade crypto. on: February 01, 2022, 10:26:46 PM
Personally, I wouldn’t leave my job to trade in crypto, especially if I am new to the market.
It's not really advisable for someone who's new to the market to leave their jobs. Why leave your job if you can do both of it at the same time? The market is open 24/7 and you can always learn and do it after your job.

Borrowing money to trade in cryptocurrencies is also not a wise move. The market can’t be trusted. You could be in debt. Whether you trade in crypto or any other market, have a steady source of income to support you and invest. Otherwise, it can take a bad toll on your health and financial state.
This is a big NO choice. You don't borrow money to put it at risk, you're just getting more risk of what you do. The risk of paying only the interest and not the whole principal amount if you dwell in losses.
3715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 01, 2022, 09:16:43 PM
I am very interested in how the Metaverses will be created and developed.  The main question is whether people are ready for total immersion in virtual reality?  This is a very ambiguous question.

For example, free video calls are now ubiquitous.  But people have not fully switched to video calling.  Nowadays, people use different formats of communication.  People write text messages, even though it seems to be an outdated way of communication.

And this healthy conservatism of people can slow down the process of introducing the Metaverse.

And along with them, the further evolution of online casinos and gambling may slow down...
The example you've given is because there are other means of communicating and we're in abundance of those communication apps and that's a good thing.
About the metaverse, it will be like the real world that has almost everything and depending on the developer if they're going to allow everything to be in it. But I'm almost certain that casinos won't be gone. Just look at most of the casual games that we play that looks like Metaverse, there's always a casino that's on it. We will see how it's going to be when a casino or any project that introduces it.
3716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 01, 2022, 08:10:37 PM
I'm not familiar with the attitudes of the fans that are from Liverpool. But by reading the previous posts here, it says something negative and Casimero should be able to show his full blow on this match and just leave Butler with a KO. Because if it doesn't happen, there could be some biased scoring. I'm not worried about the fans, there could be some ways to mitigate that if he's also concerned about that. But about the scoring and judging, yeah, everyone's being concerned on it.
I think not just from UK, I guess in every places where you trying to fight the local boys, for sure you will not be well received by the crowd. And that's what makes this fight very interesting for Casimero as he can knock out everyone, and what will be the reaction of the (hostile) crowd if they see their boy being knock out by an Asian fighter? For sure it's gonna hurt the crowd, so Casimero should be well prepared and expect the unexpected.
Well, there's another exciting moment that we're going to wait for this match. Not just all about the boxers but as well as the reaction of the fans. 3717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good moment to buy btc or eth? on: February 01, 2022, 12:43:37 PM
If you only buy to hold your cryptos, it’s always a good time to buy.
If you would like to make money, I personally would wait a bit before buying again. On my opinion BTC and ETH will go lower within the next weeks.
There's always the possibility that it would go low in the times that we're not expecting. And there's the truth with what you've said that if someone is buying to hold, you do that always, and no need for any validation from other people.
We do that because we want to make money from holding it and you choose whether you go to the long way or you're good to wait for a bit of time then assess what you've bought if they're good to be sold.

We do that as investors who have strong believe that the market will bounce back and deliver our expectations, it's true that if you have this kind of mindset, better to follow your own understanding and there's no need of any confirmation or recommendation from other investors. It's your money to take care, and it's your own responsibility to take the risk.

Any decision making should be on your own judgement and not being influenced by anyone.

You are giving reason if in case the market turned against you, it's not good for your investment journey.
Yup, any decision to be made when it's related to investments regarding cryptocurrencies then it's all your duty to think of it and be responsible for it.
As we invest in bitcoin, there's no argument needed to happen because we're all agreeing and has the same thought of how it is as a long term investment not unless someone is coming to tell that it's still expensive despite that it was slashed almost or more than half from the highest price that it has made.
3718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accept crypto payments on: February 01, 2022, 10:56:47 AM
Tesla have been on and of on cryptocurrencies adoption as payment
Yeah, they were. But one fact, they still have the investment with bitcoin. And AFAIK, they've just sold 10% of it and with the purchase they made, the average price of bitcoin when they did that was $31k so, it means that they're still in profit.

but since Elon musk is the now known doge father may be Tesla dogecoin cooperation will be a lasting one.
He keeps on talking about Dogecoin so it's really the best choice for him to accept payments only in Dogecoin. But I think it will change his mind and will start to accept payments again in bitcoin.
