3701  Other / Meta / Re: "Users posting "joined" type posts when not required or allowed will be BANNED" on: October 13, 2020, 06:33:27 AM
I think this is one of the reasons bounty hunting is not so attractive to everyone and on the outside view of a member here, it just looks like mega spam threads. I don't understand completely how bounties work though. That's just how I see it.

I have seen that some people are getting temporarily banned from giveaways but not from bounties IIRC. Maybe something related to this? I know that bounties pay with their own token, right? Could it be somehow related to giveaways? Low effort tasks?

Altcoin give-away rule results in temporary bans. Read before posting. by tranthidung
3702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Long time deposit in Bibox with REP on: October 13, 2020, 02:40:48 AM
Maybe you could try to join the Telegram group. I saw that other people had experienced this long confirmation of the exchange.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bibox/comments/7o455j/is_bibox_a_scam/

The link to their Telegram group is also there. I'm not sure if it's still working, though. The thread was two years ago.
3703  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Project Needs Guidance on: October 13, 2020, 01:55:32 AM
Since you have already established a website that has done well, then you could try to replicate it in a way that the fundamentals are the same, it's just the content that differs. I think you have already done this. So just like what others have said, to monetize it, there should be visitors to your site and then show some ads. That's only one way; there are a lot more.

The "make money" niche is a good one to pick because many people are searching for it, especially during this time. To be honest, there is a lot of competition for this but what could set you apart is the content and articles on how you will present it. Maybe if you have given it uniquely, then you would get more followers. Most of the time, people are looking into podcasts as well, then perhaps create that too.

Content digestion is one thing people go for, so AFAIK, videos work well too.
3704  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm very worried about my Crypto Trading. on: October 12, 2020, 04:45:28 PM
If you are concerned with trading and asking about it, I suggest you study first and be confident when applying what you have learned. Many people are profiting from trading because they have trading plans and strategies to approach their trades.

Others, like me, rely on automatic trading software like Gunbot to trade for you. If you cannot entirely focus on trading, adding this tool could improve your trading, and you can trade 24/7.
3705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Covid 19 on: October 12, 2020, 01:23:04 PM
Please explain a lot of background into how you could invest your business in bitcoin? Do you mean invest All of your resources into bitcoin? Or start accepting bitcoin within your business and be part of the adoption of cryptocurrencies?

Did your business been affected so much by the pandemic that you ultimately resorted to changing your business? Or are you also wanting to add an additional stream of income for you?

If you provide incomplete information on how you will sort it, it would be hard to brainstorm ideas to help you.
3706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My view on Bitcoin on: October 12, 2020, 08:54:29 AM
Almost everyone that has and started looking into Bitcoin is for financial gains and the purpose of Bitcoin, and checking what Yogee has linked, it has been lost, the real meaning. It has become the idea and selfish desire of people to have that monetary gain using it. It's not the goal of Bitcoin, but it's the goal of many. Suppose someone could provide data on which traders, HODLers/investors, and users of BTC to differentiate the three. Like comparing on certain factors, usage, discovery, purpose, etc. of the people, then maybe we could see the bigger picture of what state we have on cryptocurrencies.
3707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily Bitcoin and Crypto trading update on: October 12, 2020, 07:40:58 AM
The general is the author of the posts on the website. He has years of experience in finance as a qualitative analyst and prop trader in traditional markets. He has been trading BTC since 2014.

Now I understand. I was just confused that the general started just to post it. He is experienced and informative too.

The reason I got confused is that on the website, the author is still you as per the article. I just wanted to make sure.

Is there another thread or somewhere else you would recommend posting the trading update?
I think this thread and this board in Bitcointalk is excellent already. Providing the gist of the article is good enough of a summary to make people want to read the whole article. So I think you guys are doing great.
3708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin mined in 2010 worth $ 11M since 2010 has just moved. on: October 12, 2020, 07:10:02 AM
Why is this significant?
It may not move the market that much to make a significant impact on the price, but it undoubtedly considerable knowing that at any moment, they could just be moving these volumes and create a larger one with one swing. Unless the exchanges are also monitoring what they have on members, specifically whales, then we have nothing to worry about.

It's probably a very early adopter moving his stack of BTC somewhere and cashing out. That amount of BTC is a lot for sure.
3709  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Begging for merits is not a good idea. on: October 12, 2020, 04:00:20 AM
If you have known and understood what the merit system is for, then you would already know that it's not a good idea already. For your previous posts as well, can you point out those berating posts that you are talking about? Most of the members there posted valid points that are within your topic.

It seems like you're getting "berated" simply because you're preaching about "working hard" and how to "survive the external world" in your previous thread even though you yourself couldn't earn a single merit. Pretty much almost like those "how to earn merit" topics by people who has only 0-5 merits.
This is their way of "earning" that merit because it's a merit topic. Lol.
3710  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily Bitcoin and Crypto trading update on: October 12, 2020, 01:27:17 AM
I got some messages from this thread. Though the owner of this thread isn't active in this thread. But some people are sharing Btc and crypto trading updates and I believe it will be continued. Easy and love to see all the news from a thread and interestingly it helps a lot and save our time. Following this thread for updates.
Stop spamming and understand what you are posting. What are you talking about the owner not being active in this thread? The OP posted an hour literally before you posted.

What I don't understand is what's the relationship between the OP and byzantinegenerale. It seems he just starts updating the latest takeaway of the OP from the website. He only posts in the thread too. I think an introduction of what he is to the site is essential too.

3712  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin (LTC) Huge Pump is coming with New Update on: October 11, 2020, 03:34:49 PM
I remember the halving of LTC and it said that's it's going to pump but it didn't really make an impact. But since this one is a technological update, it could be an attractive point for investors to put in more money and have an increase in price. If the impact of the update will be beneficial for all the users, I think it would increase the price, but for now, I doubt it would have a big impact in total.

We know that most pumps are because of HYPE and maybe if this goes viral and then we will see the result.
3713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Can you erase a electrum acount for good somehow? or atleast clean it? on: October 11, 2020, 08:48:28 AM
From what I have understood from your post, you want to clean the transactions that have been done on an address (past TXids, amount, etc.) and actually remove it so there would be nothing found? I'm afraid you cannot do that just like what others said as well. There is no reversal of transactions, and it's forever in the blockchain. It would always be there, and it would be searchable with an explorer.

You should just create a new wallet and transfer all the funds you have in that compromised wallet. I'm not sure how there would be personal information in a transaction unless you have posted about it on the internet. Maybe clean that post or something. Other than that, I think you have nothing else to do.

3715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin "mining cartel" (centralization power) on: October 11, 2020, 03:10:43 AM
When I read your post, I immediately have thought of having the power to manipulate the price. And since the price is proportional to the strength and it is an influence on the economy, probably they can. If they have enough stack of BTC that could potentially pump or dump the market, wouldn't you be considered as vital enough influence on the economy?

That's true if they have that kind of stack. Probably like Satoshi  Shocked
3716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling sites accepting bets from countries where gambling is illegal. on: October 10, 2020, 10:07:13 AM
If you are going to be worried about gambling because your country doesn't allow you to, then I suggest you don't gamble at all.

Most of the casinos try to make everything as legal as possible because the future of that kind of company is brighter than an illegal one. If the member lives in a country that doesn't allow them, it's the law not to let them play.

Maybe if they try to find a casino that accepts VPN and doesn't care about where you live anywhere in the world, that's the site. But I'm afraid there's always a risk when playing in a casino like that. Maybe unexpected closing of the site or scam. It's sad.
3717  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 10, 2020, 10:02:00 AM
If you manage to have been able to experience how the market could be, it could make yourself more aware of what could happen. I believe that in every trader's life, you would experience getting rekt in the market. I don't know how you would be able to determine when you are fully ready, but that's the uncertainty of traders that everyone experience.

It's going to be always risky. It's still going to be unpredictable. Be consistent with your trading, and maybe you could be successful. We cannot determine entirely how it could end up, but it's still worth exploring.

Accept the risks, and you wouldn't feel so down if you get rekt.
3718  Economy / Economics / Re: Mathematics and economy on: October 09, 2020, 04:21:28 PM
Any reference to your claims? I am sure that companies make their manufacturing in southeast Asia because of the cheap labor compared to their country of origin. They would turn bigger and make their margins even larger with outsourcing and transferring their manufacturing to another country. That’s the finance part.

Some manufacturing companies are also moving out of China because of the pandemic. I don’t think that it’s about mathematics but it is the overall education achievements by The citizens there. They don’t have to send their own for a long time to train. This so-called ex-pat.
3719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DeFi Bubble Burst? on: October 09, 2020, 01:48:57 PM
Everything may go down at some point, and for Defi, I think it's the time now. In what cryptomaniac_xxx posted, it helps to see what point we are in the current situation based on the price. It shows the behavior of investors in that current market. I have seen a couple of it as well, and it is entirely factual, in my opinion.

Probably a lot of people have already made money with it, and some are just selling everything and would probably try to move to the next hype.
3720  Other / Meta / Re: Fun facts for BTC close price, merit (whole), merit in WO - daily data on: October 09, 2020, 02:04:17 AM
I didn’t know that the merit distribution in the observer thread Can be an indicator in when the price increases.Probably a lot of the members who are sending merits there have their positive and happy vibe and just feels giving away merit. Maybe give away BTC too? Lol Cheesy
