3701  Economy / Gambling / Re: CRYPTUCKY DERBY: A NEW BREED OF DAPP // UNLIMITED-PLAYER on: April 14, 2020, 09:20:00 AM
Your emoticon is a bit suspicious Lol, just kidding.
Sounds interesting (assuming I understand it well).
But what if you don't find much players, will it still work and be sustainable?
And I wonder how the win shares will be distributed to winners. Is there a determined amount each winner will get or something?

3702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 14, 2020, 08:47:32 AM
It's probably not cheating if the kyc was impose on them unexpectedly. But they shouldn't have gone to exchange that requires kyc for the sake of hunters who expect "no kyc" they were promised.
By the way, did you fully understand what the project owners said concerning kyc before you started working for them? If they said with certainty that kyc will not be allowed and later required it then you know they are wrong. There probably should be some consequences.
3703  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 14, 2020, 08:25:39 AM
No! 2nd wave of Corona virus doesn't have the power to crush Chinese economy. It's a land of 1.48 billion people and internal market size of China is the largest in the world. Yes, probably their export business will take some hit the way rest of the world is facing it, but due to their internal market size, these losses will be taken care internally. A very minor portion of their economy will be suffered which are directly linked to international companies. Rest all are fine in China! They are ruled under dictatorship and not democracy!

From whatever news I am seeing, it seems like, out of 109 people who were tasted positive in China, 49 people recently came back from Russia. Since Russia is also ruled under a dictator, you will never know the actual information or actual numbers!

Will be interesting to find out if China is "really" a dictatorship, and if people were stopped from going to work "safely" during the so called lockdown.
Does the President of China really have powers like typical dictators do? Do Chinese people have their say(not necessarily through voting) and the government respect/consider the opinion? *not talking about insulting the leaders or something like that*... I mean are good or worthwhile opinions from the people considered by the government? What will happen to the government/leaders(/rulers?) if they fail to consider good opinions from the people? Nothing?
3704  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think of a Hexagon World on: April 14, 2020, 07:20:43 AM
Peace and no more oppression?
Look, we can't do things on our own without the guidance from our true CREATOR. It can't work out without GOD on your side... And for GOD to be on your side you have to obey HIS Words, Rules and Commandments.
Not a good idea trust people who don't depend one true GOD. Sin is the problem here. No matter how small you may think the sin is in a person, it will always multiple like virus if that person doesn't sincerely depend on GOD to take it away and help.
Put a tiny bit of dirt with bad microbes in a pot of soup, the soup get corrupted quickly. Sin is the dirt/microbes while the soup is the body. Only our CREATOR can remove the sin/dirt/microbes to preserve the body or soup from becoming bad.  Once people start understanding this fact, they will know WHOM to run to... and there will be peace in a society full of people who depend on GOD to help guide them and take away their sins
3705  Other / Off-topic / The big problem is that humanity have "derailed" so much on: April 12, 2020, 04:24:19 PM
If you are farmer and plants billions of apples....You water, nourish and care for the apples continously but they end up producing bad fruits... only very few produce good fruits. What will you do to the billions of apple trees? An experienced farmer will definitely destroy them all except the few good ones. He will use the fruits from the few good ones to "repopulate" the farm with new apples.
GOD is the farmer. He has been so merciful to us despite us not bearing good fruits (good in GOD's standard). HE has been blessing us always and for a long time despite our bad fruits. He is not really like the impatient farmer who destroys impatiently.
Unfortunately evil has grown so much. We have derailed too much and are still blind to our evil.
HE is shaking the earth and warning of what is coming server judgment , but only few are really aware and paying attention.

3706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Monero get delisted, again on: April 12, 2020, 03:16:48 PM
If I remember, it's also a Korean exchange that delisted Monero and now it's Korea again, so we can conclude that it's only the government of Korea and it's a policy that is hard on the features of Monero, they are still one of the top coins in the market and the support are still there, but we'll have to see in the coming months.

I don't know exactly how the cryptocurrency works but I think the developers could make it very safe while still preserving privacy/anonymity. The should try and make it hard for "evil" to take advantage of the coin privacy feature.. but must still retain the privacy or never take it away. Privacy is part of human right as far as I can tell.
3707  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin or real estate: what is the best investment? on: April 12, 2020, 02:45:12 PM
The best investment is bitcoin or real estate?
If you don't think that real estate is a good investment, bitcoin can be your choice. But if you truly are an investor and focusing on generating revenues through rentals then real estate will be your choice.

Being an open-minded investor, having both of it is the best option.

Exactly.
I would invest in both too. Besides, the two can work hand in hand... You buy/build your estate with bitcoin or you sell for Bitcoin.
I wouldn't invest too much in typical real estate business though. It's very risky long-term. I would instead invest more in "estates" that are easy to decouple, move around and construct.
3708  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: April 12, 2020, 10:45:56 AM
To me, betting double after losing is a sign of desperation from the losers aspect.
And this is an attitude very conversant with a near addict of gambling.

We need to always maintain our calmness, either in profits or in loss.

That could be in most cases as when you double and you still lose again, you might think of doubling again until you will wipe out your entire bankroll and that is very frustrating. but for some, they know how to use this strategy so they are successful, but still not advisable for newbie as mostly their emotion is what they use instead of making a strategy to make it work.

Are there really people who are successful or consistently profitable with the strategy? I have probably seen few members who said they are successful with it... whether it's true or not I don't know. I guess it's a few time successes rather than being successful consistently?

3709  Other / Politics & Society / What do you mean by China is in lock down? on: April 12, 2020, 09:43:41 AM
You mean no business/factory is operating there anymore? If not, who is running the businesses, the people or robots?
Or what do you mean by "let's try China's lockdown"? Do you want your governments to be authoritarian/dictatorial, communist, to own everything, etc? What exactly do the supporters of Chinese style lockdown (unfortunately, I don't know what the country's lockdown style is) want?
3710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 12, 2020, 09:09:39 AM
Aren't the casinos online too?
Well, I hope the good/safe games could just continue by operating online without the bad ones. The employees would then work part time and accept smaller pay. Everyone needs to remember that this is a crisis period...We all need should be understanding and try and help one another to survive.
I would even suggest using the small pay to grow your own foods/rare animals (in safe places ofcourse) and probably diversify into the essential businesses.
3711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: April 12, 2020, 08:12:19 AM
Wish you could show us the details of the stuff on the disease they placed for people to bet on. Is it about the availability of cure/treatment, about potential death/survival rate, bet on the real cause etc. I think this will help members determine whether it's moral/ethical thing to do.
Betting on death/survival rating doesn't sound right/moral though.
3712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 12, 2020, 07:36:54 AM
I think the question should be which will serve me better in times of serious crisis.
In my opinion, the temporal decrease or increase in price shouldn't matter too much... besides, Bitcoin is deflationary.

Gold is ok as long as people have them physically to prevent those who have custody of the physical gold (while issuing "paper or digital gold") from abusing it. Wish there are fool-proof ways of verifying the physical gold.

Well, I honestly believe that a well decentralized tech (whether physical or online)  will serve people better. It's by far more secure and safe.
3713  Economy / Economics / Re: Casino Stocks - Las Vegas, A Petri Dish for the COVID-19 (Social Distancing?) on: April 12, 2020, 07:13:40 AM
Why would casinos be ruined by quarantine? I'm sure they can afford to be closed for a month or two, it's not like their slot machines are going to rust in such short time, lol. And after the quarantine will end, things will return to normal and people will start gambling at brick and mortar casinos again. And if for some reason they will be doing it less, those casinos will focus on the Internet. Casinos can't just disappear as long as there are people willing to gamble, their business really doesn't care about any other factors.

The problem comes, when they are closed for MORE than a month or two.The casinos will have to fire their personnel, cut some costs, etc.I think that casino owners have to reserves to survive for atleast 2 months, but the quarantine might continue for 3+ months.
Anyway, online gambling is the future. All the older gambling addicts, who don't know how to play online, will have to learn and register online accounts. Grin
Some can actually exist without internet.

Well, I doubt the small betting businesses will be affected that much. Small lottery stores and open space betting businesses for example will likely not be affected that much. Besides, they usually don't attract crowds and they have few operators. I think one of the problems with the large (and probably medium sized) businesses is the crowd they attract especially in enclosed areas.
The small ones can easily continue operating without the need for bailout or government assistance.
3714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Drawings by a 6 Years Old Kid on: April 12, 2020, 06:45:31 AM
Nice drawings!
Did he add meanings to the drawing? I mean, did he explain to you what they all mean? Would like to know in order to understand the boy alittle bit. Would also be interesting to know if he was drawing from his imagination or coping from somewhere. Good drawings!
3715  Other / Off-topic / How do you prevent people from misusing or abusing their online/crypto anonymity on: April 10, 2020, 04:15:19 PM
Just have a clear rule on decentralized platforms or in decentralized communities. Anyone who breaks a serious rule or frequently breaks rules frankly deserves a negative vote.

A voter should be able to downvote or up vote anyone in complete anonymity if he/she wants... The most important thing is that he/she has a legitimate and serious reason for up/down voting someone.
When voting against someone anonymously, it's better to attach the rule he/she broke together with comment & reference. The anonymous voter could aswell be penalized by other voters if the person didn't really break any rule

✴ Decentralized communities should also try to find a great way to link anonymous users to their unique identities without violating their privacy... This is just incase the anonymous users commits serious crime and needs to be identified.

3716  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Should be subsubject in Economy on: April 10, 2020, 02:51:29 PM
That would be good if people will be taught exactly what it is. I will even suggest that the foundation/standards be based on Bitcoin/Satoshi's whitepaper and verified intenet posts. Teachers/educators can then build on the foundation & keep upcoming/future teachers from derailing from the real ideas behind Bitcoin/crypto.
3717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time Will tell on: April 10, 2020, 02:25:28 PM
I'm afraid it's quite the opposite: we shouldn't underestimate the power of a government. They let us be for the moment but I'm really wondering if they will do the same in the following years. If India was able to ban Bitcoin along with other countries and there was no civil unrest, I am honestly afraid a Bitcoin ban would only be followed by very small and non-significant protests that would result in.. nothing!

The only thing we can do is try to keep following the path we've started (mine is to keep believing in and supporting BTC) and hope a ban or harsher regulations aren't coming.

If a government is able to ban Bitcoin then you know it's weak common sense, rule of law, and the citizens are probably in deep sleep and ignorant.
If small section of a society decide to use stones for buying and selling, would you ban them too? Of course not. If a country succeed in banning people from buying and selling with stones or from "bartering" then you know it's capable of banning anything. It could even ban it's citizens from going to farm or working and nothing will happen. Such citizens are most likely under evil bondage.
Tyranny will come but not now! You should be making Bitcoin very secure and more decentralized to withstand most abuses and lawlessness.
3718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Compliance exchange or decentralized exchange, which one do you prefer? on: April 10, 2020, 10:49:27 AM
I will go for the safest... Properly decentralized exchanges are safest for me. I can't imagine leaving lots of coins on centralized exchanges long-term. Lots of bad thing could happen to it. But with a fully decentralized exchange, you control your keys... you can hide your keys and take your minds off your coins as long as you want-- peace of mind.
By the way, the centralized exchanges can change their policies anytime and that could affect your ability to access your funds or use them easily. Decentralized exchanges are great.
3719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: April 10, 2020, 09:54:18 AM
You have a point, but why feel deprived of something when you can find positive sides of keeping the quarantine?

In land based casinos you are more likely to lose big money because everything around is pushing you to play more and make higher bets. You have no distractions like kids, wife, video games, TV shows etc. in those casinos. So, it's much harder to stop gambling, being there, don't you think?
Are there places to bet when leagues come back and when the pandemic will end? Such types of very strange bets will attract so many gamblers. I don't know casino owners watch around the forum or not but I do hope that somehow this idea will come to them.

It is a very abnormal sort of bets and we will probably not see such situation in our lives once again.

There are no bets on when the pandemic will end, as far as I can tell. But in the current situation, very unusual as it is, some casinos have started taking bets on the weather.

Source: https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2020/03/coronavirus-desperate-casinos-now-taking-bets-on-weather.html

I think at the moment, not only no one can tell when the pandemic will end, but even when it will start to recede.

I think I like the weather bet. I have wondered whether such thing exist. Imagine you find some bettors who are consistently correct without relying too much on typical news on weather. That would be great thing to be honest. This should probably spread all over the world. Will be great to combine it with local farming
3720  Economy / Gambling / Re: pokerhost.co - run custom no download poker tournaments and cash game on: April 10, 2020, 09:35:45 AM
Works fine on my browser. Though I don't know exactly what and where to click on to start a tournament or something.
Seems you have nothing for FAQ yet except for the few links that lead to a bit difficult host instructions. I guess your own FAQ/instructions will be necessary.
