I was checking the results of today's cricket matches. The match of Bangladeshis vs Zimbabwe selected XI is being held. Bangladeshis team gave a huge target of 297 runs. However, Zimbabwe lost 7 wickets for just 142 runs. Zimbabwe Select XI will be defeated by a huge margin today. Although this is not an important match, Zimbabwe should have tried to perform better. So poor performance!
I am no longer interested in matches involving teams such as Zimbabwe. They are playing as if they just need to complete some formality. Their players looks as if they have no interest in the game. ICC seriously need to rethink about Zimbabwe. During the last two decades, around $250 million in ICC funds have been transferred to the Zimbabwe Cricket Board. If a fraction of that money was invested in countries such as Kenya, Nepal or Papua New Guinea, then these teams would have grown to international level by now. Zimbabwe Cricket has regarded by ICC since 1992. ICC transferred funds to all their recognized cricket board. Zimbabwe suffered several crisis but at some point Zimbabwe were used to present good cricket. Back to the history, some of their key players was instrumental in their success. Looking at the current situation of Zimbabwe Cricket Board this looks quite unrealistic. ICC should provide appropriate guidance to get monetary help. |

England lost on penalties, but what's painful is they brought in two young players at the last minute because of penalties, but you're right, Italy deserves the win.
