For Bayern Munich a draw is quite detrimental because the second leg will be played at the Santiago Bernabeu. If you look at the match as it progressed, Bayern Munich had far more opportunities to score goals, but the final finishing was still quite poor so they only managed to score two goals. Two penalties were awarded by the referee in the match and were awarded to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid respectively.
Real Madrid have a good defense and they are not in too much of a rush to attack so try to defend to frustrate Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich were unable to take advantage of Harry Kane's sharpness because they didn't get many opportunities and he only managed to score a goal through a penalty kick. The second leg will be much more tense and Real Madrid will be much more favored to qualify for the final.
Bayern didn't look bad, they reminded me of City at some points when they tried to press Real, but Real's defense would have been good. It was important for Bayern to win, but as we remember, two draws were enough for Real Madrid in the quarterfinals to advance further. Congratulations to PSG on another win in Ligue 1. However, I hope that in the future there will be a team capable of competing with them. PSG is considered the favorite every season because of their dominance and high level of play. But the French championship is a one-team championship, so it is very boring to watch.
When I first saw your post I thought PSG won against Le Havre and I saw the result wrong. But you were talking about the Ligue 1 title, okay.  Yeah PSG were already too comfortable in the league for a long time which is the same scenario we see nearly every season. This is killing the competitiveness of the league though but there is really nothing we can do about it. PSG is rich and it is easy for them to win this title over and over again. Even though they actually have horrible stats like 10 draws considering their superiority, they can still become the champions without any problem. This is what makes this league boring.  PSG dominates Ligue 1 every season, winning trophies with ease. They're the wealthiest team in the league, outspending everyone else. If the league was more competitive, I might be impressed. But with PSG's financial advantage, it's not surprising they win consistently. It's basically become turn into a one-team league. By the way, it's puzzling why someone like Mbappe wouldn't want to prove himself in a more challenging league. Maybe that's why he's rumored to be joining Real Madrid next season? |

Arsenal won one of their toughest matches. Many people expected them to lose points against Tottenham, but they dictated the game they wanted from the beginning of the match and won with 3 goals in the first half. Manchester City also won their match, but this was to be expected, their opponent was very weak. It was very important for Arsenal to win this match, they are still not in full control but psychologically they are equal to City.
Arsenal have shown full commitment towards taking this season's Premier League title and they are walking the talk in full spirit. I was really surprised by how went ahead to make the 3 goals straight during the first half and that helped the club to maintain a strong balance at the pitch even in the second half. I realized that Arsenal wasn't greedy with the goals they had and worked towards maintaining it Arsenal has resiliently maintained its position at the top of the table standing with 80 points and a point ahead of Manchester City, while the race between both teams continues to get tougher and more intense. What a match! Tottenham Hotspur tried to ruin Arsenal's chance of winning the league, but Arsenal showed great commitment in this game. Tottenham couldn't stop Arsenal from getting closer to the title. Arsenal won tactically, securing three valuable points. Arsenal shouldn't bottle in the title race again. At one point it looks like they are not going to be able to get a single point from this match. But in the end, PSG has been able to score at the very last moment of the match. Le Havre had a really good chance to get three points. and considering the fact that they are literally fighting relegation, it could have helped them a lot. But we all know that they are going up against the best team in the league. so even though PSG is not playing the best 11, was able to avoid embarrassment and disappointment and was also able to get one point from this match. Still, I do not think they care about this league title at all. All they care about is the Champions League competition and they are going to concentrate on that more and more. PSG didn't field their strongest lineup, showing they're taking the league title for granted yet. Despite their comfortable lead, they haven't officially announced the Ligue 1 title. in my opinion the series is not tied series was won by New Zealand because their B team is playing in Pakistan. New Zealand B-class team showed an outstanding performance in this series. Pakistan wins the last match due to the bowling performance of Shaheen Shah Afridi and Usama Mir. Muhammad Amir quite a costly spell in this Match gave to much runs but at the last over they successfully defended the 12 runs and Pakistan won by just a few runs. Pakistan needs to improve its batting performance if they perform well in the next T20 World Cup.
Outstanding performance by New Zealand in this series. They made Pakistan work hard to level this series which was played on there home ground. Eight bowlers were used by Babar Azam to bowl 20 overs, only Fakhar Zaman and Babar Azam didn't participated in bowling. Usama Mir finally had some impressive figures in T20I while Shaheen picked 4 wickets. Though series is levelled but Pakistan need to think why they were not able to beat New Zealand team who is without it's key players. Shaheen Shah Afridi showcased an impressive bowling performance. Captaincy played a crucial role, and Afridi's bowling was leading Pakistan to victory. However, leveling the series against a New Zealand team without its key players isn't a significant achievement. I don't know what happened to Liverpool, they got another bad result, even though they got 1 point, it could be said to be a bad result.
