3722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is your opinion on the method of payment for bounty rewards? on: February 11, 2022, 12:18:36 AM
When you get paid in tokens and if project turns out to be good you will be paid out way more than dollar/btc/eth paying bounties.
The risks is huge and it cant be worth it.

This is ethlend bounty (now aave), it was certainly worth it: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2078686

I don't see any wrong, comfort of your house + more income. Even if there were less income but you earn enough for your needs then I'd choose that over job for freedom it provides.

This online world is just reflection of irl, all that was happening before and will continue to happen - just the medium changes.

Ok that's enough philosophy.

I don't even want to see your picture. Only when you say the word "third-party keyboard" should you have an alarm in your head.
You have already answered your question. Any third-party software brings benefits to the developer. This is spying on you, keyloggers that send information about you to the right servers, advertising designed to receive money, and all other nasty things.
Behind external decorations, far from good motives can be hidden.

Well you know, as if the default installed keyboard (Google keyboard/aosp) doesn't do these things
3732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's the best/cheapest in-wallet exchange? on: February 06, 2022, 04:44:24 AM
One more thing for you if you want to use METAMASK, also the best solution is currently widely used, the cheapest and the fastest network, for METAMASK you can see it on youtube in full.

Do you mean metamask swap? If so, then it's not worth to use, they have 0.8% fee on the top of usual exchange fee. Better directly use uniswap/quickswap/etc.

If you use android, you can use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.superyao.tuchuang - share from gallery and copy bbcode link.
The image hosting site like imgbb or imgur are free of cost then why go through these apps but yes you can use them to make some image adjustment if they come along with it as other members have previously discussed about such apps that can help you in image posting on the forum but for me imgbb is ok to work with and post images here.

Well, it's for sake of convienience, it uploads to imgur and is free app.

https://galaxy.eco

You collect badges and nfts for participating in projects. It doesn't require much effort, they cover gas fees for minting (polygon).

The website is good and has potential. As I try to connect my wallet, Only Solana and Ethereum is available for wallet connection there's an NFT available on different blockchain like BSC and Polygon. How can we get the nft from other Blockchain if the specific wallet for that chain is not available.

I'm currently using mobile when viewing the website. Can you also explain further how the free NFT can be acquired? I can't see the instructions for this campaign.

Mobile is fine, I use alpha wallet myself, when you connect using wallet connect option it will let you select which chain you want to connect with.

You go to explore page, choose campaign and do tasks mentioned, for example you complete the snapfingers dao tasks, for this timeframe is 48 hrs, so you do tasks and come back in 2 days, campaign page will show you blue 'claim' button where you claim the nfts.

3737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to penalize airdrop hunters? on: February 05, 2022, 03:06:23 AM
Paraswap took strict approach, they even left out legitimate users who traded there when there was no such thing as retrospective airdrop. If you are gonna have concentrated drop to several thousands users, of course there is gonna be dump.

3739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How secure are crosschain bridges? Wormhole loses 320m on: February 04, 2022, 07:29:12 AM
See the post I created about it

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5383380.msg59144983#msg59144983

You can read how scam and hack have be prevailing, about DeFi which the thread begins with

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5383380.0

The highest scam and hack of 2021 is DeFi, DeFi is decentralized if you are comparing it with CeFi but DeFi is not totally decentralized, it is been operated by a little group of people and it is centralized in a way hack is possible but decentralized in a way hack is possible and not totally decentralized.

Crosschain bridge is faulty, the more these new things are created the more hack and scam are becoming more possible.

Even if decentralized, the loopholes can exist in the smart contract which was supposed to behave as middle man as in cefi.
