3721  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bustabit Creativity Chart Contest || 0.3 BTC In Prizes! on: August 15, 2015, 06:15:10 AM
Rules:

  • You may open multiple accounts and enter as many times as you'd like.
  • Post your Bustabit username in this thread after illustrating to enter.
  • The contest ends on August 31st.
  • Winners will be announced in the 1st of September.
  • Only real Bustabit charts are accepted

Rules edited after my first entry... (godzilla)
"Only real Bustabit charts are accepted" Part was added
Means my entry should be valid isn't it?
I don't want to be mean but that's not fair Sad

I inferred from the contest itself that it was only legitimate bets. "Use your wins, losses, and differences in amounts and cashout points to create cool drawings and pictures!" Otherwise it would have said "create a dot-based image and throw it over to us!" Its wording was pretty clear.
3722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining without an electricity limit on: August 15, 2015, 06:13:33 AM

with no power cost an s3 will roi in around 100 days which isnt bad :/
yes that is true but I meant in terms of overall value over time , with the calculation I did , with current difficulty an Antminer s3 will only earn you 0.0006 daily ( 0.17 $ ) if its on 24/7 which even using a faucets for two hours daily will give you more earning than it and faucets are considered just extra cents compared to signature campaigns so that's why I change my mind before in buying this miner
are these calculations after the block having? also if btc doesnt work out there are a few a other sha coins which wouldn't hurt Smiley
Block halving shouldn't matter much as it is one year away. The only factor is the difficulty increase and the coin pricing. Many people bought hardware when the price started to steadily increase. As soon as it drops, the profitability also drops as well. Alt coins are generally quite volatile and can affect your ROI percentage.

Pricing should be affected once we get closer to the halving, though, due to speculation. It's going to decrease new coins on the market, which means miners either earn more or they quit mining. It's going to be interesting to see how it pans out.

I wish you had an android app  Undecided

I would like to be able to play it on my android!

Can't you do the mobile one for that, through the browser? Based on the pictures I've seen, it looks the same as what you'd expect anyways.
3724  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Mellow Ads - simple, bitcoin advertising - CPM/CPC campaigns now available on: August 15, 2015, 02:15:40 AM
You should think about changing your order at http://mellowads.com/networkspaces

Wouldn't it be better to sort by CTR with a certain threshold of views or clicks?

The issue is some advertisers just care about branding. Most I personally deal with, for example, don't even ask for information on clicks because they don't care if I got one click or a million -- they just care that people are seeing their ads, as that creates a sense of bonding with the brand and will stick in the back of your mind when you're looking for something they offer.

The surprise is what's in the box -- not the box itself.

The Surprise Box is a random prize that randomly appears at different times. It updates randomly between once per day or once every two to three days max.

Well, yeah. As of 24 hours ago. That's not what it was, and you can't arbitrarily change the meanings anytime you want. Now it's more like a Random Surprise Box.
3726  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-$5,000,000-17,540 BTC in 5 GTD Tourneys-Up 2 150% RB on: August 15, 2015, 01:52:30 AM
Personally I think making the surprise box appear randomly makes it more of a "surprise"

More of a treat, less of an entitlement.

Also if they have to take it down for a day or two in the future, there will be fewer people upset about going 1.5 days without their box...well...those people will likely find something else to be upset about and attempt to get something else out of it...

The surprise is what's in the box -- not the box itself. I'm personally fine with however they want to run it. It's essentially freebies and is a lot more than most other sites offer.
3727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for a poker site on: August 14, 2015, 09:20:11 PM
It's really difficult to play poker with bitcoins, I just recommend you to play pokerstars,it will be a better experience

Uh, it's easier to play poker with BTC than fiat. Deposit -> play -> withdraw. You can get up and running and withdraw winnings, all in under 20 minutes. What's difficult?
3728  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bustabit Creativity Chart Contest || 0.3 BTC In Prizes! on: August 14, 2015, 08:46:14 PM
The lower axis units are negative Huh

Yeah, there's a bug and bounty for that. Some guy is working on it, trying to claim it Cheesy

if (lowerAxixNegative=true) {
 lowerAxis*=-1;
}

Now it'll always be positive!

i suggest you to build a website and using bitmedia.io and a-ads to earn bitcoin, thats my best way to earn bitcoin
if and only if op has the skills to build a website on his own would that be possible; with 13 dollars he could barely get the domain name, but it would have to be a good one to attract traffic, assuming he can get free hosting somehow. not too realistic with such a small budget.

You don't need a good domain name for traffic. In fact, 99% of the biggest websites have domain names that don't even deal with their offerings. Branding is what matters -- not the domain name.

Reading these responses reminds us of reading the comments when the first car was introduced during the horse and buggy stage of life.  First off, people said they wanted a faster horse as an improvement to their transportation.  The complaints about the first cars were relentless as being an unreliable piece of metal on wheels.  People complained that it wasn't proven, wasn't tested enough, and that they would never leave their horse at home because it was a part of the family.  Most people however saw the future and the foundation that cars would provide for the future and capitalized on it.

The foundation has improved tremendously at Betcoin with this upgrade allowing us to provide far more than ever before and imagined.  Sure there are bugs in the beginning as their are bugs in every upgrade for any company, but overall the upgrade has been a tremendous success and we have so many things coming that will be built off this upgrade that itis incredibly exciting.  As with the first cars, most people see this and the response has been overwhelming positive.

It's very important to:  Don't lose sight of the forest for the trees...

If you have an account issue, please submit a ticket or visit live support chat anytime!

I like most of the changes. The bugs are annoying, but livable right now, as I think everything is heading in a great direction. What I don't like, however, is the change to the affiliate section. The stats have been severely watered down -- no more seeing individual users or anything, now it's everything merged together. Having the detailed stats we had before were invaluable to us.

Also, about the Surprise Box changes, do they reward more now that they are less frequent, or the same amount as before?

On the other hand investors are quiet again, they must be happy Smiley

I would say that this twist is kinda needed sometimes. The word "investment" is kinda giving people an insurance that their stash will keep on increasing and not decreasing so when the investor's profit is taking a huge dip, alot of people stressed out because they are losing some percentage of their stash which is understandable as people love winning and not losing things  Wink

The good part about this negative profit is that atleast this serves as the proof that the house isnt unbeatable which is good for promotional purposes both to attract more gambler to try their luck and win huge at Moneypot as well or that to a potential investor which could lead for more BTC as the bankroll and allow the apps in Moneypot to attract more whale

If anyone thinks investments are a sure way to profit, they're stupid. Investments are called investments because they're risky -- otherwise they'd just be called "insured loans." 99.9% of the people on the forums that invest in various businesses have no idea what they're doing, and think everything is a guaranteed way to profit.
3732  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best Advertisement places on: August 14, 2015, 12:52:17 PM
I would buy an ad on this forum or would make a signature campaign

These options give very good results

depends on what he will advertise, small businesses dont need to pay for advertising on this forum or run signature campaign as it would only cost him a lot

I personally think external advertising in general is a waste of resources. You could focus yourself on getting to the top of Google instead, gaining organic traffic and organic likes/followers on social media. Not only do you get a MUCH higher ROI that way, but it's ever-lasting as well, as opposed to temporary.
3733  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetterBets.io Bitcoin Casino ★VIP★15% Affiliate Bonus PLINKO|DICE|HORSE RACING on: August 14, 2015, 12:31:23 PM
Dont you think taking 50% of the investors with a variable edge of 0.1-1% is kinda unfair for the investor? I remember good old Jd taking 10% Undecided

JD only takes 10% of the PROFIT each week, too, and takes none if your profit ever goes to negative (i.e., if you made 1 BTC this week, but it went down to 0.99 BTC next week, there would be no commission until that 0.01 BTC was re-gained).

With MP, the amount is based on the bets, win or lose, not just profit. So whether or not a player wins, a small portion is siphoned from the bankroll (at least this is my understanding, based on how the site owners are paid).
3734  Economy / Gambling / Re: ToTheMoon.me | Invest into the Bankroll of Social gambling site on: August 14, 2015, 12:28:49 PM
I put up an advert on a-ads and we got some nice traffic with some new highrollers Smiley

Pretty cool. Looking forward to the forum ad.

Also the TAF program is in the works, so then you can help me directly refer players

Wondering how this affected the site's profit so far this month (I guess over the past few days or week) for both NXT/BTC. Do you happen to have a guesstimate?
3735  Economy / Auctions / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - FOR SALE- 3080 BTC PROFIT - Bitcoin gambling site on: August 14, 2015, 12:27:05 PM
Besides that... i agree it will be hard to get an escrow for that amount of money. It's fearsome to hold that much i imagine. And even established escrows might run since it might be that that amount of money is enough to throw their morals over board.

I disagree with this part. My personal integrity has no dollar limit to it. If someone offered me $1 billion, and had it, in cash, right now, asking me to do something I disagree with, it would affect nothing. I don't care if others could live with my decision -- I care that I wouldn't be able to. And to me, stealing by using someone's trust is the ultimate act of betrayal. I wouldn't even steal from someone I absolutely hate, much less someone I don't.

On deposit types, what are these acronyms (listed on the fee page)?

CAP = ?
ADV-USD = I'm guessing this means it's cash advance, in USD?

Those acronyms are provided to us by each payment processor and indicate the type of service that they provide.

Unfortunately, I can not identify each letter and its corresponding meaning.

Thank you for your interest in Exmo!

Ah, was wondering because PayPal's is the one that says CAP. Is it only available in certain countries, or what's the restriction there?

still not a best way as OP only have $13 (based on title) and that alone cant buy domain and hosting so maybe buying forum account is the best option for him now

You can get hosting for under $1/mo. Domain is 11. So what makes you think you can't get both for $13? Smiley.

So what's he gonna do after he spends 100% of his money?  Cheesy

Build a site that actually gives value to readers. $0 on advertising and you can still be uber-successful. People are just trying to use a get-rich-quick scheme, while providing no value, and then wonder why it has no value.

Said my balance was 0 earlier when I logged in on the homepage. When I clicked wallet it showed correct balance. There was a service ANN on the homepage for last few days saying that there would be downtime. Don't worry folks it will be back.

Home page shows the casino balance. Wallet shows both casino/poker. In my case, my balance was moved to the poker balance, so that's why it shows up on wallet and not home.
