3721  Economy / Reputation / Re: A Single User With Multiple Accounts: Are There Reasons For Them Being Accepted? on: February 14, 2021, 05:08:23 PM
For me, there is no issue using multiple accounts if he/she doesn't abuse forum rules & campaign rules as well. Never mind if the accounts as known or hidden. Because forum allows to create multiple accounts, and currently it's not very easy to build an account on the forum due to the merit system. If the campaign manager allows multiple accounts from the same person, then it shouldn't count campaign abuse since the manager is aware of that. But honestly, it's really not looking good. Joining different campaigns under different managers would be a nice choice to avoid campaign abuse.
3722  Other / Meta / Re: Do you click on signatures? on: February 13, 2021, 07:06:00 PM
Sometimes I click on signature links if I become curious about a platform. But do you believe the platform owners advertising the forum just for clicks? I don't believe it. It's called branding. Here all users are somehow related to cryptocurrency. So all crypto-related platforms want branding their platform among real crypto users. Advertising via a signature campaign doesn't mean the user will be registered via that link. But if they often see that advertise most likely user would join throw a direct website link or from friends/family referral links. That's how I believe projects have been generating revenue and advertising their platforms continuously.

As a campaign manager, I have worked for multiple platforms. In the beginning, I told them I driving lots of traffic from the forum is quite impossible. Slowly propels will notice your platform then they would join via your links or from the direct website, I can't guaranty any click from the forum. If you expecting too many clicks then please move into the PTC site, so that you will get lots of clicks from there. Finally, a different project runs their project with different duration. So, I believe the platforms are getting benefits from the campaign, otherwise all long time campaign wouldn't run here.
3723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fastest and safest way to buy bitcoin with debit card on: February 13, 2021, 06:58:25 PM
You can take a look on Buy bitcoin worldwide and compare which would be best for you. Choose an exchange that suits your country. Isn't there any Bitcoin ATM machine around you? Just try to search on Google "Bitcoin ATM nearby me", hope you will find something. Because buying Bitcoin with the card isn't quite easy. Just be ready to verify your personal identification when you are going to buy Bitcoin with credit/debit cards. Because most exchanges use a third party to complete a transaction which would lead to verify your personal identification.
3724  Economy / Scam Accusations / Email extortion/blackmail for Bitcoin. on: February 13, 2021, 05:13:46 PM
I hope you realize by reading the topic title what I want to say. I have seen a similar thread before but seems the scammer use a new Bitcoin address and I didn't found it by forum search. Scammer tries to blackmail by email. I received a spam mail where a scammer asking to pay BTC to secure and remove video recorded from my web camera. Lol, it was really funny to me. I don't care even he recorded something because I am not involved with sharing such as sexual content. The email was very long, so I don't think should post here and I think there would be malware as well. So I simply record the BTC address and delete the email.

This is the BTC address: 1PwonAt3HzdHmauZnfRe6tmwavhxYP1oSY
This was the sender email address: coilas@clubcoral.ru

There is seven reports of this address on the Bitcoinabuse. According to reports, most likely blackmailer gained emails from Ledger leaked database. So, don't be confused if you received such as mail. This is totally fake, scammer can't do anything. Good to see that the scammer's address doesn't receive anything. Just delete that kind of message from your spam folder.

3725  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 13, 2021, 06:13:45 AM
wildan88, gadado, Cacingkemi, BitcoinAccepted, coin.princess & MI6, personal attack? Or shilling for Adkinsbet? You can see Steve already replied on that thread, which means he took over the case. I think he investigating the whole thing deeply and he will back with a resolution. I don't think anyone should attack personally for their own benefit. I will suggest everyone please stay on topic and wait for Steve's reply. Then we may come to a conclusion.
3726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If a project gets too complicated on: February 12, 2021, 06:47:32 PM
Every project always tries to introduce themselves quite simply, so investors would understand where they are going to put their money. Projects have been trying to create an HYIP in a different way so that they could attract their investors. I don't think understanding a project is complicated for investors. Because very rarely newbie investing crypto projects. Based on this, I don't think a complicated theme will affect adoption. Very few people read the whitepaper, they just invest to get profits. That's how even a shit project getting funds. Peoples would think complicated means there is something potential.
3727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you say you made money if you never actally sell your coins? on: February 12, 2021, 06:19:55 PM
I can't recall the thread exactly, but I have created a thread hold for life, not for a lifetime. I have sold bitcoin even when the price was $3K, and now selling even price above $40K. The simple reason is, I have been selling my Bitcoin when I need money. I am selling bitcoin for real life. Doesn't matter it's from earning or from my holding. Of course, still holding a few satoshis, so even increasing-price I am happy. I don't want to repeat the mistake like 2017. If I had sold my bitcoin that time instead of invest shitcoin then most likely I would establish my own business and could buyback at the $3K zone. So, my simple logic, hold for life, not for a lifetime.
3728  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Elon talk about freewallet app on: February 12, 2021, 05:31:28 AM
At least I wasn't expected Elon Musk would use such as custodial wallets. Anyways there would be a reason behind it that we aren't aware of. Elon said an important thing, we shouldn't use any wallet that isn't giving our private keys. The problem isn't with Freewallet only, all custodial web wallets have the same issue. Just imagine, if they could hold or block Elon Musk's funds who is a well-known person in the whole world then it's quite easy to block our funds. Anyway eventually they solve the issue of Elon's, according to Freewallet they block funds due to security reasons. Honestly, I am not fully satisfied with that answer. I don't think Elon leaves his wallet unsafe at all. There are many ways to contact with real Elon Musk except lock account.
3729  Economy / Reputation / Re: Trust System on: February 12, 2021, 04:34:41 AM
All of the points you mentioned here were already discussed multiple times. If you spend more few times and read related topics then you should get all of your desired answers. It's easy to ask why the forum doesn't moderate an obvious scam or a potential scam. The question is who will determine the scam and what is the perfect way? If the forum takes the responsibility to prevent scams and if after happening any scam in the case then users will blindly blam to the forum administration. On the other hand who will prevent potential abuse scam moderation. That's the reason why the trust system has been implemented. Listen, any system in the world isn't perfect, but you have to compare if the system is useful or not. Perhaps there is a few stupid feedback, but it doesn't mean the whole trust system is broken. But often I have seen other DT members exclude if discover such as DT members. So, also you may help the trust system by detecting such stupid feedback. You may realize the case, so other DT members would take action if they think it's reasonable.
3730  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 11, 2021, 07:16:43 PM
There are zero unsolved scam accusations against sportsbet.io made on bitcointalk.
I told the same thing above.

I don’t know why you say you believe the OP dude, sorry.
As a betting man, I’d say the odds are significantly leaning towards the OP having broken T&C’s.
I didn't say OP can't break the T&C. There is something that OP had made a mistake and most probably that's why the system detects it.

I don’t think it’s fair to compare SB with the scam factory that is 1xbet.
I didn't compare exactly, I mentioned that how casinos blaming for multi-account and closing accounts with the funds.

I’m looking forward to seeing Steve’s response.
Yea, it's better than argue between ourselves.
3731  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 11, 2021, 06:46:24 PM
Come on man, what makes you think that?  Because he's a first time poster blaming one of the the most respectable and trustworthy sportsbooks?
Hadn't more accusations created against Sportsbet? And hadn't you notice they solved the issue as well? I am not saying Sportsbet isn't trustworthy, it doesn't mean there wouldn't a problem. If there are problems then there is a solution at the same time.

How can you be so confident of that?
Fake docs are all over the internet and he's already been linked to other SB accounts.
You are right, but how you be so confident OP used fake documents? I know fake documents all over the internet it doesn't mean all verified accounts on the Sportsbet platform are fake.

Does that conclusion come from your extensive years of cyber security? It doesn't sound like you know what you're talking about.
What would you recommend, that Sportsbet just continue to allow the user to multi account?
Did I ask something like that? Why only is that action taking after making a deposit and after wining? It wouldn't detect during registration? Why allowing users to create multiple accounts from the same IP? Shouldn't they provide an appropriate explanation of how and when IP has been detected?

I think we should wait for the SB investigation before taking sides.
Steve has already responded to this accusation; I don't think anymore shit posting about speculation to earn campaign sats is a good idea.
Same here, we should wait and you should wait as well for the investigation. Posting here doesn't mean everyone just posting for the campaign. I express the possible problems and solutions. Nowadays most of the casinos using very cheap tricks to ban account with false multi-account accusations. I believe many stories exist on the forum, for example, you may see a 1xbet resolution thread.
3732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: isn't a crypto market really funny? on: February 11, 2021, 05:24:23 PM
I think it's more fit in the Altcoin section. Actually crypto isn't funny, we are funny. Because if someone from rich man posts something about bitcoin then we jump into Bitcoin. Same as when someone post about doge then we jump into it. As well all know crypto markets depend on the community, so when the community jumps into a coin then definitely it should be pumped. It doesn't mean crypto is funny. Not always we are gainer in crypto, who knows which coin will jump, sometimes we went against the trend, unfortunately.
3733  Economy / Reputation / Re: @crairezx20 case on: February 11, 2021, 04:48:18 PM
Don't know why still all accounts exist without a ban. I think a van evasion thread should open on meta with proper explanations and evidence that should be easier to understand for moderators.
It exists already, : [Report] Ban Evasion [Requesting Admin/mod to check those and ban]
Was this case raised there? I can't find the report of this case there even using the search button. Am I missing something? I am talking about this case specifically, not all over ban evasion. I have seen occasionally users creating unique threads for each ban evasion. In the thread you have mentioned, OP is inactive of that thread, so there is a lack of maintenance. Anyways, a single thread would appropriate for this case, it's quite a serious case IMO.
3734  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Sportsbet.io scammed me $8080 on: February 11, 2021, 04:21:45 PM
I strongly believe OP isn't laying in this case and most probably the problem happened due to the broadband issue (realized from all discussion). As far as I know, there are two types of broadband connect shared and dedicated IP. A shared IP connection would be the same IP under a single internet service provider. I am not sure but the most likely website would detect such as connection as the same IP. Even me, I am using shared IP for my broadband. Because dedicated IP is quite expensive here. Since OP complied with KYC procedures and didn't cheat any other way, Sportsbet shouldn't ban the account due to IP detection. Sportsbet should ask also other accounts to verify, if failed then that accounts should ban either there is a fund or not.

I Hope Steve will solve this issue as soon as possible since you already aware of this case. @OP, just stay calm,  Steve is enough friendly to resolve such as issue.

I am curious and following this thread to see the solution.
3735  Economy / Reputation / Re: @crairezx20 case on: February 11, 2021, 04:04:40 PM
It's pretty clear these three account. According to forum rules, all connected accounts are supposed to be banned since one account is already banned. Don't know why still all accounts exist without a ban. Most likely moderators didn't notice the thread. I think a van evasion thread should open on meta with proper explanations and evidence that should be easier to understand for moderators.

I'm a bit suprised that BitMaxz is still in the the CM campaign despite these links to banned/scammy/sold accounts.
Perhaps DS unaware or missed the case.
3736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC cash on: February 10, 2021, 05:13:27 PM
Cleaning your BTC isn't a very hard task, you can do it by using a reputed bitcoin mixer. But the real concern is cashing out it for real cash. Since you are asking for Laundering, means you are unable to sell via bank, otherwise the bank would ask for the source of funds. These problems will occur even you sell peer-peer exchanges for real cash. When you receive money from your bank, then still they would ask from where you received it.

So, the suggestion is to use multiple bank account (your family or friends) for receiving funds since the amount is big. Of course, you have to mix first. I am assuming funds weren't coming from criminal activity. Because a criminal knows how he should handle his funds. Using bitcoin ATM also helps you if available in your country.
3737  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin is going cross $50k? on: February 10, 2021, 04:44:22 PM
BTC $50K? Need more instinctual investors like Tesla. Everyone knows the reason behind of current uptrend. When a big investment new comes on crypto media, then we see an effect on bitcoin price. But after that always there is a price correction. There is no reason why Bitcoin should just continue pumping. It's playing around whales, FOMO and FUD. The Tesla effects on bitcoin price are over, so we are encountering a small correction. No one could say exactly if pump again after this correction or just play around $40K zone.

3738  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: FreeWallet.org is a scam - Elon Musk account locked by Freewallet criminals on: February 10, 2021, 04:11:05 PM
Quite surprising to me Freewallet locked Elon Musk's account. Wondering how he had chosen such as a wallet. If this wallet could lock Elon Musk's wallet then who we are? They could lock our account at any time without notice since they don't care about Elon Musk as well. Legal action should take against Trustwallet and I think it's quite easy for Elon Musk.

Anyway, seems many scam accusation against Trustwallet, so it's better to avoid that. Thanks OP to bring it to the right place, other users would take a lesson from here.

Edit, seems they solved the issue.

3739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I convert bitcoin to another crypto with coinbase without any fees? on: February 10, 2021, 03:56:12 PM
Exchanging crypto to USD or USDT/stable coin means you need to trade. And I don't think any exchange will offer these features free. If you believe coinbase asking for a higher fee then you should compare other exchanges that offering less trading fee. Unless you trade peer to peer (face to face) you can't avoid fees. Just look on a few exchanges and compare fees. I don't want to promote any exchanges but choose a reputed and high volume exchange.
3740  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tru.Bet - A Peer to Peer Sportsbet Exchange on: February 10, 2021, 10:51:03 AM
Welcome to the forum. Good to see another peer-peer betting platform here. I have seen a couple of peers to peer betting platforms have been lost, it's most probably due to lack of enough players. Bring enough players on your platform is the biggest challenge for a peer to peer betting platform and it fully depends on your marketing strategy. I believe you will succeed and will not be lost like other peers to peer betting platforms.

I went from your site and overall looking good. The thing annoying to me is forcing for registration. A few users will visit first and look at everything there. If there is something attractive then they would join. Although there is an anonymous register option, it would discourage new players to visit your site. I hope you will consider removing force to register/log in. Besides that, you should make your announcement thread more attractive by buying a copper membership. It would draw attention from players.
