An experienced spin bowler and an experienced opener are very much needed for ODI and Test formats. The West Indies have a lot of T20 specialist batsmen but very few experienced and patient players in their squad. You can't call any of their batsmen bad. But they are not suitable for ODI and Test format. They are talented, if they work hard they will probably be able to adapt to the test format.

With West Indian players in such high demand around the world (top players such as Pollard and Russell easily makes $3-$4 million per year by taking part in franchise T20 leagues), I don't think that they will be much bothered about longer versions of the game. And I wouldn't blame them. T20 is the future of cricket and test cricket is becoming obsolete (still the ICC has difficulty in admitting this). In fact, I would credit the T20 format for reigniting the popularity of cricket in West Indies. There was a time, when the popularity of the game was going down steeply. T20 has saved the cricket in West Indies.

I think the main reason for the inexperience of the West Indies players in the Test format is their poor management. If the board wants, they can make the cricketers more experienced. With almost all West Indies players playing in different franchise leagues throughout the year, they become experienced in only one format. The board should ensure that players can become experienced in both ODI and Test formats. They can organize a league like Ranji Trophy.

I agree with you on this point. If the West Indies board takes the right steps, their players will become more experienced. And if they host a league like the Ranji Trophy, the players will have plenty of opportunities to play Test matches and build themselves up to be more experienced. There is no other option without hard work to be experienced in the test format. As well as being talented, you also need to work hard.

It looks like Griezmann won't leave Barcelona because he doesn't want to leave and he is also willing to lower his salary. As is known, Barcelona has big financial problems and wants to get rid of top earners. As the most promising club Griezmann's ex-CluAtletico Madrid had recently been traded, but Barca does not want to give such a good player to a league rival, because they do not want to make the same mistake as with Luiz Suarez.

Griezmann has adapted very well to the Barcelona team. He does not want to leave Barcelona now, he is ready to reduce his salary if necessary. In this case, Barcelona may decide to sell Dembele. Because Griezmann is more experienced than Dembele. I want to see the Messi-Griezmann-Aguero trio play together.

According to today's news, it looks like Lukaku doesn't intend to leave Inter this summer as he is quite happy at Inter now. As we know, Chelsea have been interested in him. They have been thinking of making an offer for him if they don't succeed in signing Erling Haaland.

Romelu Lukaku found himself with Inter in Italy Serie A. He made some very good games. He has scored 47 goals in 72 games in Italy Serie A so far. I don't think he will return to the Premier League Belgian football player says he is happy in Italy at every opportunity.

Not all players are suitable for all leagues. Romelo Lukaku is doing very well in Serie A. He should stay here. He may not be able to maintain his extraordinary form if he shifts to the Premier League. He has adapted well to the Inter Milan team. Staying here is good for his career.

Right, only relying on a few players is certainly not a good solution to achieve the title, and Kane can't stay at Tottenham forever because even to taste the Europa League competition is not possible. Even though he is still young but it is time for Kane to get a chance to play in the UCL next season, if City fail to get Kane then is it possible that City will succeed in getting Lewandowski who is older but still very sharp in scoring goals.

I can't agree with you. If we take a closer look at Tottengam's matches, we can easily see that the team relies heavily on Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son. These two are their main tools. If Tottenham had looked at their midfield and defense and improved on some of them, they would undoubtedly have been able to compete with Manchester City to win the title. By selling Kane they can buy experienced players for it in defense and midfield. I think  Heung-Min Son is suitable for forward.

I think @Iranus's point of view is right. Because we saw the West Indies T20 series against Australia. The West Indies players ruled and controlled the entire series. Out of 5 matches, West Indies won 4 matches. The West Indies played faaar better than Australia in every match. But they could not collect 200 runs in any of the 3 ODI matches. They need more experience in ODI and Test formats.

Previously they had players like Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan, who were good in the ODI/test formats. But now, T20 cricket is the big money spinner and very few of their batsmen have the ability to play in the longer formats (and no one takes the other formats seriously, because they don't have much backing from the sponsors). Their pace bowlers are good in the test format, so no issue in that department. But once again, they don't have quality spin bowlers who are suitable for the longer formats.

Both the teams were not impressive. Australia was chasing such a low total, and yet they were at 99/4 when Alex Carey got out. They won the match thanks to good performance from their bowlers (Mitchell Starc seems to be back in form, and he was backed up by Josh Hazlewood). And it was surprising to see the three spinners (Ashton Agar, Ashton Turner and Adam Zampa) bowling a majority of the overs for Australia (28 out of 45.1). Apart from Evin Lewis, none of the West Indian batsmen could get a score of over 20.
The entire match was dominated by the Australian bowlers. The West Indies would be in such a great form now, and as they are performing so well against Australia, I don't think anyone could have imagined that they would have a batting disaster like this. However, the Australian team may have returned to their old form. Australia won the ODI series. For the T20 format, they need to better organize themselves if they want to do well in the upcoming T20 World Cup.

In my writing time Australia collect( continue) 52 runs losing two wickets after 12 overs. For seeing Cricbuzz reports summarize , Australia have big possibility to win this match. Because west indies through a small target.
At the end, Australia won the match, and won very easily. A 153-run target is a very easy target for a team like Australia in the ODI format. If West Indies could have scored more than 200 runs, they might have been able to put up a good fight to win the match. Ashton Agar bowled well, he was able to pick up the wickets of important batsmen. West Indies opener Evin Lewis batted very responsibly.

to me Indian cricket future looks bright and i'm sure that management will take care of transition period because BCCI's past record is not bad in this regard when comparing to other boards. When Sachin, Gangully,Dravid,Laxman took retirement transition was smooth, same thing happened when Dhoni, Raina, Zaheer, , Sehwag etc took retirement. Just give enough time to young blood.
They are finding new talents and the new players will mature in due time and these young players are getting opportunity when these top players are in the team unlike Sri Lanka who did not find talents when their established players were in the team and when they retired all of a sudden they started struggling and if other teams would find talents when their current crop of players reaches their retirement age then they will get the guidance and it will help them develop their career.

India management has sent the second tier team against Sri Lanka because they know the Sri Lankan team is not experienced now. They did not have to perform well. So India sent their young players to the series against Sri Lanka to make them more experienced. In the future, even if a series is played against Bangladesh or Afghanistan, I think India will give a chance to their young players.

This seems to be an effective step to build the experience of young players. Sri Lanka is a weak team, so against them India has arranged a squad with inexperienced and young players. As a result, they may be able to win the series and build on the experience of young players. Teams like New Zealand, England and Australia may also form a second tier team and send the second tier squad against the weaker team.

Varane to United confirmed - price around 50 mil euros. A really good deal for them - Varane is among the best CB-s in world football and is still relatively young for a defender.

They invested heavily in the team yet again, with Sancho it goes up to 150 mil. euro net spend - since they still did not sell anyone. They will probably focus on selling a few fringe players now - but it has to be said that their team will look really good for the upcoming season.

Raphael Varane has a very good career. We can say that he is a very good transfer for Manchester United. The transfer fee can also be considered appropriate according to the player. According  to the Financial Fair play rules, Red Devils can now turn to sell players to avoid a financial deficit. Jadon Sancho and Varane will do well at United.

Raphael Varane is a very talented defender. He is also doing a great job at Real Madrid.  Ramos and Raphael Varane have left Real Madrid together, the emptiness of these two players Real Madrid can feel very well. Their defense will be stronger with the inclusion of Manchester United's Raphael Varane in their squad. Hopefully they will be able to compete hard for the title next season.

If I had such an opportunity, I would have taken Ronaldinho to the team. The way he played, his play-style, his dribbling I still miss. I really love this player. I would have been fascinated by the pairing of Ronaldinho and Messi in Barcelona. Together these two had the ability to knock down any team's defense. Who would you choose?

I am not watching much of Barcelona but I always feel like there was a huge missed opportunity with Ronaldinho, so I agree here,,, this is the one guy to bring back BUT first to fix his problems off the field. He was SO good with all his issues imagine if he was even half as disciplined as Messi is, how much more he would bring.

I love all players who give us good memories:)

My childhood was very sweet for all the players mentioned in the list. I was able to enjoy their awesome gameplay. Later in my mind, I was eagerly waiting in front of the television to watch the game of Ronaldinho, Zidane or Kaka. I still remember the moment of Iniesta's retirement. These legends can never be erased from my memory.

It looks like PSG are still trying to sign Paul Pogba. I haven't heard anything about how much money PSG will offer for him. His contract runs until 2022. If PSG become patient and wait for one more year, they can buy him as a free agent. But then, there could be some other clubs also like Juventus which would be willing to sign him.

PSG management has a lot of money, they can take Pogba in the team if they want. PSG's squad has a lot of star strikers. Neymar Di Maria and Mbappe, whose salaries are very high. They have Ramos and Donnarumma in the team. Experienced goalkeepers and defenders will make their defense stronger. Now with a star midfielder like Pogba in the team they can build a fully stable team.

A win is a win!!
It does not matter if it is 2-1 or 3-0, India won the series with their B team, playing against an A team. Another important thing is that Srilanka have broken the jinx they won a match against India after 9 years. BTW Srilanka was still struggling in the last ODI.

Sri Lanka will have to work very hard to win against any of the weaker teams in the team. At the moment they needed to play a series against a team like Bangladesh, Afghanistan or Ireland. A team like India is a very strong opponent for Sri Lanka. Indian B team is much more experienced than the players of Sri Lanka's main national team.

It looks like Tottenham give Kane green light for £160m Manchester City move. And he verbally agreed to a £400,000 per week contract. It's going to be one of the biggest transfers Manchester City have ever made. And it's really huge in terms of transfers in general in history.
£160 million is a fantastic value, and that's a very high price even for a striker like Harry Kane. If Man City really agrees with the price offered by Tottenham then this will be a new record-breaker. A salary of £ 400,000 per week will also make Harry Kane a football player with the highest salary in the Premier League.
Harry Kane is an excellent striker. He is talented and experienced. But what club would want to spend so much money at the moment? Every club is in some financial crisis. 150m is a very high amount. Moreover, his salary is also too high.
Both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City were caught by surprise by the news last night. The wages of £ 400K per week? I don't think they did a good job on that. I think City makes a big mistake this time around. What I don't understand is how these clubs can make these investments under the current Corona situation?
Its still just a conflicting news about Harry Kane's move to Manchester City.
The Sun newspaper is tge one that confirmed a deal is settled and City will pay £160 million.
On the other hand The Athletic confirmed that the London club will not sell Harry this summer at any price!!
In my opinion its true that City needs a striker this to be realistic, but the unrealistic is to sell Spurs, the best striker in the league, to a competitor with them in the league.
And personally I don't want to see Kane in Man City because they will be a perfect team and the league is going to be boring a one side dominating the whole league while other 5-6 teams battle for tge remaining UCL seats.

Tottenham may not have wanted to releas Harry Kane, but no player can be forced into the squad. Harry Kane doesn't seem to want to stay in Tottenham anymore so Tottenham has been forced to releas him. City needed an experienced striker, with Harry Kane at 180m, City would be even stronger next season.

Real Madrid do not have the financial capacity to bring in players like Mbappe and Haaland. Lewandowski is a good choice at the moment. But he will not be able to maintain his good performance for too long. On the other hand, Real Madrid's main striker Benzema is 33 years old. He has done well this season, but it doesn't look like he will be able to play next season without injury.

Lewandowski is too old to move to a big European club. He will either finish his European football career with Bayern or play another two years with a club in the USA or Asia (Arabia). If he still wanted to move to a big European club, he should have done it two or three years ago. Now that time is up. Also, it should be added that Bayern will not let him go at all because they simply do not have a suitable replacement.

Bayern Munich will not be able to find a player to replace Lewandowski. However, I would not be surprised if Bayern Munich releases Lewandowski. Because Lewandowski's salary is much higher. Leaving Lewandowski, maybe they want to take a young player to the team.
