3721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling sites should ask proofs ? on: April 04, 2017, 04:19:16 PM
While I don't appreciate the fact that they ask proof but that been said if they ask proofs and run in a more legit way then that's actually good for users as less scams would hapen.

proof of identity you mean? no one would play if they ask for that, people like to play with bitcoin because they don't have to deal with the boring identity verification, and somehow also dangerous, what if they steal my credentials and use it for illegal things? i can't risk that, i'll never send my id to anyone, and don't forgot that id can be false too, maybe someone stole a ID from someone else and use it to play
3722  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: lending on poloniex and bitfinex on: April 04, 2017, 04:15:37 PM
Is lending worth the risk though? Never done it, but might be interested.

there is no risk if you done on poloniex, they cover your ass with collateral and the borrower can't be unsolved, but the gain is very minimal, only 0.02% which is ridiculous for me, not going to wast time on that revenue, btjam offer higher revenue but more scammy, or try in the lending section, but you need a good collateral like an altcoin
3723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating a New Cryptocurrency on: April 04, 2017, 04:12:04 PM
make a cryptocurrency that is interesting, add nice features that everyone want like monero did or dash, make nice development plans before the release and don't add ico do a good pow phase that last very long, with a pos that help some investors that can't mine have coins generated in their wallet, i like for this reason strong pos that generate the same as the reward for pow, not 1% per year which is pointless imho, and last but not last add it to a good exchange like poloniex or cryptopia
3724  Economy / Speculation / Re: This massive price increase in seconds shows us something on: April 04, 2017, 04:06:02 PM
I think that often it's not bitcoin that is pumped or dumped.
It's the altcoins, and bitcoin is the center where the money is usually parked.
If an alt gets pumped, the money goes away from btc, and it comes back when the alt is dumped.

pump and dump is a manipulation of the market and any price resulting from a pump will never stay around which means that would be a fake pump.

if bitcoin was pumped the price would have gone down already, back to $200 level but as you can clearly see if you check some charts, price is not only not going down but also it is rising with much strength. and when in the long run price goes up that means the demand is increasing. in other words bitcoin has real price and it is not pumped.

i don't think that pump and dump is always manipulation, buyers and sellers don't know each other and they can buy for whatever they believe and the sellers also sell for their own reason, can happen that the value go high and low because of randomness caused by their decisions
3725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitfinex has raised enough funds to reimburse users from last year hack! on: April 04, 2017, 02:11:01 PM
That's a very bad news to the entire bitcoin community when such a big hacking took place and one among the  leading investment portal lossing  big, worth around 70billion  made a big panic on the security concerns. This made the trust fall away and now the repaying the users is something good to gain back the trust and move on successfully.

what??? this is a good news, the exchange is going to reimburse everything bring again trust on crypto, and remove the suggestion that an insider hacked the exchange, like poloniex did with its hack, very nice from bitfinex, i hope they learned their mistake and increased security now
3726  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling Digital Products With Bitcoin on: April 04, 2017, 10:16:43 AM
I am still wondering why I still have to see many digital marketers using and accepting Bitcoin. I hope that soon Clickbank, JVZoo and Warrior+ will soon be accepting Bitcoin as one of the many ways to pay for their digital goods. I think that the market for digital goods is very big and with Bitcoin the market can even be bigger.

More and more buyers can be generated if they start to accept Bitcoin and other digital currencies. As they are into digital products, digital currencies should have been at the top of their payment facilities.

What do you think can be the advantages and disadvantages if digital marketers will finally use Bitcoin on a massive scale?

dude look, you can sell with purse.io or open bazar, they both offer good escrow and decentralized shopping, the first one let you listen your used item only in USA i think they don't have the possibility for other country for now, open bazar let you sell everywhere but it's very new and people don't trust it yet, i think will take place when bitcoin will be bigger
3727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest Way to Create an Altcoin? on: April 04, 2017, 10:15:30 AM
the hardest part is changing the parameters and adding new features, do you have the skill to add masternode anonymous like zcash and all this? if not better to leave behind your idea, because will not attract anyone if you're not really lucky and people start investing for no reason, and please no ico, the alt section is plagued by this stupid ico coin, they are ruining the altboard with their scam
3728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not a single thread about vTorrent... on: April 04, 2017, 10:13:10 AM
i don't like it, i'll tell why this is not good, algo is scrypt, asic fest and big dumping, now maybe pow is over and only pos, which is very bad for any coin, all pos are shitcoin, then this is a 2014 coin, all old coins are forgotten here, people don't care anymore about that unless you do a swap, why you think darkcoin did a swap? because it was too old and had a bad name
3729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find private groups that pump altcoins? on: April 04, 2017, 10:03:15 AM
in the past i knew about 1 group that pumped many coins called fairpump, i don't know if they still do pump or not but you can follow them on their twitter, better to not take part of their group and start investing like they do, they don't always earn money, because a big miners decide to dumb a big amount when they pump they lose money
3730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SpreadCoin | Decentralize Everything (decentralized blockexplorer coming) on: April 03, 2017, 03:26:19 PM
Is solo mining still the only option here? I dont know if I want to leave my computer running for days at a time just hoping to get lucky and find a block.

yes don't worry you can find plenty fo block with one gpu, i'm mining with one 1070 and i'm finding 6 blocks per day on average, spreadcoin use block time that are 1 minute so it's good for solo
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: April 03, 2017, 03:22:54 PM
You don't really win anything in gambling, all you'll do is earning back what you've lost in the past and whatever big amount you win you'll definitely lose more in the future, so whenever I win I just cash out and spend it in my bank account nothing especial.

not always true my friend, if you win by luck and never go back again you have won soemthing which may be big or not, depend on your luck, but if was me i would never play again a big jackpot that i won for luck, i'm not that stupid, i also onyl use the money for survive or to make more money, like you can re-invest in mining now
3732  Economy / Speculation / Re: There is no reason for small price changes, Stop looking! on: April 03, 2017, 03:20:47 PM
yes i agree, i only look at correction that are significant in the range of 30% and not +/-5%, people are too paranoid about bitcoin price, they think they could lose everythign in one night, and they keep looking at the price because of this fear, good experience tranders never look so much at the value they play with the value and follow the trend
3733  Economy / Economics / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto should be richer than Bill Gates. on: April 03, 2017, 03:18:31 PM
satoshi is dead liek many think and if not he only have 200k coins right? that is not enough to be richer than bill, bill have 60B of dollars, 200k coins, are 200 million of dollars

Who is to say that Bill Gates is not Satoshi Nakatomo?

this is stupid and you need to prove it first, but you can't right?
3734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Just bought 300,000 on: April 03, 2017, 03:08:19 PM
Doge coins, since it's on the rise, I figured I would make a small investment. What do you guys think?

a lot of altcoin are on rise at the moment, why dogecoin? you think will do again the pump between 20 satoshi and 60? lol that pump is too predictable now, it won't happen again, it was an easy money back then but now it's over

First of all, I only invested $97.00 people. That's not that risky. Who cares if I lose it all, although I don't plan to. I don't know what dogecoin will do honestly.

Litecoin has nearly doubled in price within the last week. I may start investing in that too. It's etherum, dash, monero, and zek that are down.

ok that's good, but if $97 was your entire budget, wasn't better to diversify with many coins and not just one? if you can invest more, it's better to invest in the coins you mentioned in your post, but not dash, which i see is plumming
3735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying all ICO's? on: April 03, 2017, 03:05:18 PM
I'll keep it short and simple:
What if you bought every ICO that has launched or will launch in the future? Ofcourse this is not smart, as I know you have to research before buying. Alot will be losers, but you only need a couple of big ones that can increase in price exponentially.
Plus, if you buy on the first day you almost always have a 20 to 50% discount depending on the ICO.

I'm trying to do the analysis myself for all the ICO's till date, but I find it hard to get all information needed.
What if you have bought let's say 100$ in Tokens from every ICO, what would be your percent gain/loss right now?

Thanks.

you would lose if you buy all of them, because many fo them get a big dump that put the ico coin under their initial ico value, also there were not many good ico recently i can think of, what research have you done to think that this could be a smart move? isn't better to invest in new promising altcoin, that are not ico, with a good pow phase and pos maybe?
3736  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: April 03, 2017, 03:02:44 PM
I am using Multibit, I tried to use the official blockchain but it was quite heavy, I use multibit because its lite weight, though I have not tried any other and this one was also suggested by a guy who introduced me to bitcoin.
Its working alright I guess.

If you have an andorid phone, I'd recommend you to use MyCelium because that is what I am using now and for a few years already. It is as light as multibit and you can send/receive your Bitcoin anywhere and anytime as long as you have a good internet connection.
Yes, MyCelium is good. Online wallet is appropriate for people who only want to save a few amount of bitcoin because the security is lower than hardware wallet bitcoin. But online  wallet such blockchain or MyCelium is really practicaly to use.
I used MyCilium on my android phone , but I am mist using online wallets , There are many good wallet but blockchain is my most favorite. I judt love the interface and some features of blockchain.

i also use online walelt like xapo and coinbase that let me choose zero fee, they are very good now with the high fee, local wallet only for cold storage for me, and anddroid wallet only for very small amount when i'm out of home and i need to purchase something
3737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC price skyrocket on: April 03, 2017, 10:14:58 AM

wasn't 0.005 before this small pump? how cna you call an increase of 50% a skyrocket? i think it's a normal increase after the dump of dash and ethereum, the money are floating on other coins and returning to bitcoin, investors have set new target now, it could be that in the upcoming day the price rose more, i'll watch and see for now
3738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HONEY] Honey -URGENT - SOFT FORK - MANDATORY UPDATE NOW - Sweet! on: April 03, 2017, 10:11:54 AM
why the net hash is so big, this coin have a small emission rate, shouldn't be only few mega instead i see 256 giga? are there asic mining this coin? with that hashrate the coin is not profitable at all to mine maybe if you accumulate many for pos block, which are quite good in reward
3739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HLM] HELIUM - PRE NOTICE on: April 03, 2017, 10:08:14 AM
i'm going to ask here, what will be the swap ratio between helium and spreadcoin, if i have 1000 spreadcoin, i can hope to have 1000 helium?
3740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PRA] Practice Coin - Learn by Doing on: April 02, 2017, 03:59:54 PM
please if you want to follow this route and make your altcoin, do a decent alt with a fair launch a new algo or a algo that cna be mined with gpu and not asic or cpu bot net, also add nice features to make your coins better, like masternodes, or anonymous, you can also add an airdrop which is a nice trend nowadays, encourage more early adoption by newbie
