3721  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💰 Best Crypto Casino Promotions Weekly 💰 on: May 21, 2020, 02:21:03 PM
Have spotted some unique promotions with top operators like Bitstarz, FortuneJack and SportsIO - promoted on BestBitcoinCasino.com social accounts.
I guess for such, as its updated on daily basis, the best will be a Telegram group or channel
The OP is going to be updated but this is  short one and could have accommodated more names for more in-depth research.

Other than that is a good work and I will be watching this one
3722  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING][SCAM] Fake Tesla Model S giveaway from "Elon Musk" on: May 19, 2020, 09:36:49 AM
Its a ponzi scheme, it keeps getting bad, at this period of a novel pandemic and many in there homes -they would want to do new things that can earn them money- ponzi scheme organisers are taking crypto as there format.

3723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Explained Bitcoin to J.K. Rowling on: May 18, 2020, 11:27:38 PM
Its always good to see that bitcoin is bringing us close to our dreams, I have no doubt jk or anyone that watched it gained.
I started a webiner on what'sapp about digital money, it was a two day webiner -I invested guest speakers as well- the first day was great but participants where fellow students of my school and it was successful -so much I was surprised- the next day one of my lecturer- she is not a big name like jk but I admire her- joined the webinar and this meant so much to me- now am lecturing my lecturer- it was great she even private chatted me to commend me.
I think bitcoin is more than an assert is part of my life. Although am still learning I like to tell someone about it.
3724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Real and fake on: May 18, 2020, 12:24:00 PM
Deception - a way/manner practised to fool people.
Impersonate - mimicking/behaving like the real thing falsely to gain-

Day in day out fake programs are created having -name look alike- or any other resemblance to something real. But with good screen we can be good.
Try some of this

ORIGIN: a real cryptocurrency Coin, project, related sites has a clear origin, a credible founder,
you can search for the by originator of a real program and get a clear picture, but its cloudy over the name of a fake program owner. A fake program progress is almost usually package to be catchy

THE DEV'S: just like the name developers this guys develops/organise the program the are also the brain box, they are technically good with education or maybe experience to there names

Ethereum devs for example
Quote

Our primary core devs are:

  • Vitalik Buterin → Inventor of Ethereum, protocol developer and researcher
  • Gavin Wood →Lead C++ developer
  • Jeffrey Wilcke → Lead Go developer

A fake program developer can be technically good or have experience but they are not known for there credibility or reputation

THE SITE: just because you searching for a program should not make you take/follow any site you find. Also dont download apps -like wallet- on play store is better download by following it through their original site. To add to this routinely update the app/site version outdated version can be opened to phising. You can ask question to know the true site of programs or projects

REAL USE AND REAL VALUE: bitcoin ethereum and real crytocurrency all have real use and real worth/values. The fakes is your like a picture -good for the eyes but can't be used in real or don't have value/worth-

RECOMMENDED: others past experience with the program/project is something to go by, you can search what others has to say about it. Good recommendation or bad recommendation from a good number of people serves as good tool to work with.

PROMISES AND TASKS: A Real bitcoin wallet for example can not promise or give you free or gifted lofty sum of bitcoin the wallet or promise you to become a "billionaire" in a short by doing tasks. Yes there is faucets, airdrops, crypto gambling site freebies, bounties but the amounts are not usually lofty in a short time. the fakes can do all this.

Don't have a myopic view when choosing, and question asking is top amongst all things when trying to know the fake from the real.
Always stay safe.

3725  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign on: May 17, 2020, 02:23:51 PM

The CFNP on the title means the campaign is currently full for new participants, so you will wait for when there is open spot.
3726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Scam Emails like this on: May 16, 2020, 03:22:19 PM
Good advice. Email address should be carefully handled, but your someone having access to your email alone can't make them transfer your funds in your wallet they would still need your password or private keys for import of wallet,
When creating a wallet Is better documenting private material down than making a screenshot or saving it as a message in your email or saving it at all on your phone.
Also get 2fa authenticator
3727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: [Warning on phishing] Hackers are too active in these lockdown times on: May 16, 2020, 03:07:45 PM
Also pay attention to how you give your email address out, social media, registering for ico, bounties and anywhere your email address is asked of. Be sure its real and your details is not compromised.

If possible use one email address for certain things
A particular email for personal/private matters, another to register social media programs, and so on. Also check your draft, spam or trash messages as often as you can to see what's going on there, if you have been infiltrated your incoming message can be shifted there by the hacker
3728  Other / Beginners & Help / What i feel about correction on: May 16, 2020, 10:36:31 AM
I must have said this before and let me repeat it, I came to the forum with low or basic knowledge -this is not a problem no discrimination- but one character am teaching myself is to give my best and take corrections when am wrong.

I get joy seeing people grow, it also helps me grow myself, so I make post in that form.
Not too long ago I made this post,
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5248216.0
I tried as much as I can to make it to the best of my knowledge -basic- while putting effort making I knew two things would happen someone somewhere would gain and I myself will do same.
I dropped the post and anticipated replies which I got and they -at least the first three- changed/enhanced my knowledge. My interaction outside the forum about bitcoin got better and I could see from people -even people that heard about it before me- that I had gained something.

When you get corrected it doesn't mean you are not regard but shows how interested other are in your improve knowledge -they could over look it and you have yourself wallowing in your mistakes-

Correction only makes you better, gives you on a platter what you did not know, makes others benefits from your new gained knowledge.

Contribute what you know with -neatness, clarity- and welcome correction
3729  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Co-beginner in this forum? Read this! on: May 16, 2020, 08:26:42 AM
You can have interest in selling and buying of bitcoin and be a good/quality member.
What's the problem with newbies?
Their passion/interest to learn first and searching for things
3730  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: problem with Blockchain.com on: May 15, 2020, 10:03:45 AM
Be sure you not sending the whole amount of funds you have, so there can be some left for transaction fee.
Try sending amount that will remain some for transaction fee and see what happens
3731  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am back, please accept me Father! on: May 15, 2020, 07:28:09 AM
I joined this forum December 2017 due to financial challenges and my horrible encounters with faucets that turn out to be a waste of time and money(data subscription).
This is one reason people stay here is cut short when you expect the forum to solve your financial problems.
I assume you now know better if not you would still not last.

There is a the covid19 virus and still it affecting nations economy, and lockdown being placed, so you have some time to do more good for your self on the forum.

3733  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your activeness can help you on: May 14, 2020, 11:57:30 AM
Your post is not clear enough on the fact that for ranking up, along with activity also merit is necessary.
Quote
MERIT AND ACTIVITES  these two are what qualifies you

Basically I was maintaining the topic of the title ACTIVITIES did not want to go deep into merits. But I did say merit is part of what is required for ranking
3734  Other / Beginners & Help / Your activeness can help you on: May 14, 2020, 11:12:30 AM
The number of registered member the forum admit is lower than those active.
Members in activeness can have many courses for it.
But if all grounds are level -you have liberty to post and interact-
Do gift your self by your activities -a well thought activities so dont spam-

 Your activeness will and more
+ develop your mastering/usage of the forum generally: more insight about the forum. regular usage teleports your familiarity with things on the forum.
+ correct things you thought was right: you can have an incorrect acclimation about something, and have it corrected when you post about it and it is seen.
+qualifies one for signature campaign: your activity can qualify one for a space in signature campaign and even more
activities that are of quality.
+rank ability: to those asking how to increase your rank? or how/ what does it take to rank up? MERIT AND ACTIVITES  these two are what qualifies you

3736  Other / Serious discussion / Test on countries strength on: May 13, 2020, 09:57:16 AM
In science before a theory can be acceptable it has to go through test and observation.
Before the pandemic we can say some countries are economically sound and are ready for anything that comes.
The pandemic has exposed so Many countries weakness and instability.
The big names counties has not been able to
+manage the pandemic let alone tackle it.
+ give health care or front line workers efficiency protective gears on duty.

+ handle business or employment casualties
But some countries has done well in some aspect, the pandemic can not be eradicated all at once but effective management is needed.

After the pandemic the top countries should have a re-look or work on there preparedness when ever something like this happens
