3721  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm new here on: July 01, 2021, 05:47:18 AM
You are welcome to bitcointalk community, it's so simple to be a member of any noble institutions but the problem is that will it be simple for you to adopt their protocols, as a beginner i think you have a vital role to play in order to work in line with the methods of the system, at first a newbie have to obey the rules and regulations of the community to avoid been ban or not to have access to login to the community, and you have to read and understand the rules by clicking links bitcointalk users dropped in your threads, just follow the methods of members to post and ensure to read carefully before posting.
3722  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Quality Can A Newbie's Post Be? on: July 01, 2021, 05:24:57 AM
Sometimes newbies can have a fresh perspective on a problem. Therefore, do not hesitate to answer the questions of the legendary participants.
Your right because in the community no questions is meant for a particular user or rank to be answered, when you have a solution to any answer you have to portray your own points of view because it might be the solution of the problem, newbies mindset always think that any question dropped by Senior members, Hero members and Legendary members are specifically meant for a users of the same hierarchy to be answer, it's absolutely wrong from my perspective because one of the major reasons this community come in existence is because of interaction, discussion from different user's.
3723  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of scammers on p2p exchanges on: July 01, 2021, 05:08:18 AM
Scammers are introducing different device to penetrate to people nowdays so to detect them currently is very difficult, more  especially in terms of exchanges via p2p,  op your right because a friend told that is been scammed via exchanges last month, then i began to wonder while people associated or indulge their self into this unbearable attitude of scam, let us take an adequate measure to protect ourselves from the hands of scammers, because this p2p transaction is inviting much people who are not trust worthy to transact with people.
3724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ignorance and greed, that's the cause of it all, everyone be warned. on: July 01, 2021, 04:50:14 AM
You are right, people always be uncertified because of much want and unnecessary needs, actually you are making a point where by people fall victim because of greediness, i notice that many people who are victimized of scam today is not because they are novice or newbies in the community, which can equally result out of their scam, from my perspective it's well detected or known that it's out of their ignorance and multiple needs of money that leads them to the hands of scammers, we all know that scammers are everywhere, and we have to take precautions via investment, because it's the percentage of investment platforms that call the attention of people invest in the platform of scammer.
3725  Economy / Economics / Re: African regulators warn cryptocurrencies may not be legitimate on: June 30, 2021, 11:17:53 AM
The reason why African nations and media do not like bitcoin or any crypto is the fact that their own people could use it and disregard their fiat, which makes it even more worthless. I am not saying that people should use fiat to give it some power but when a wheelbarrow full of money worths as much as maybe 100 bucks at best,
I don't think that should be the major reason while they dislike cryptocurrency, especially bitcoin, my opinion I viewed that may likely caused some countries to disregard crypto is because of politicians more especially government, because government are seeing crypto as a source whereby politicians will use for money laundry, because investing via crypto or buying crypto and hold is another method of politicians to can use to embezzle funds, so that's only factor I seen that maybe the reason while africans disregard bitcoin from my own perspective and couple with other countries.
3726  Economy / Economics / Re: Poor and middle class as a mentality on: June 30, 2021, 09:17:59 AM
Some people are born rich or moderately rich, some are born middle class and some are born poor or extremely poor. All these conditions come along with a set of survival guides that the parents, relatives and even teachers will pass along as a map of life.
It's obvious that while some persons are born in linage of poverty is due to the initial foundations of their parents and the same thing is applicable to some people who are born in the wealthy family also, so what we are suppose to be looking at now is the factors that attribute or causes poverty and how to eradicate them for the offsprings.

For example, in a school of a country that does not give opportunity to its people, where most of the students are poor, it is unlikely that the teachers will induce them to think big or have big dreams...more likely they will aim to keep them apart from drugs,
Yeah, it's one of the benefits to be educated or to attend school, is to be versatile in knowledge mentality so that the steps our parents made via poverty will be corrected, and it's obvious that teacher's actually gives students information that will transform them in life, so attending university is another avenue to be rich because all the necessary information needed to be prosperous in life are there, but at this point I'm not refuting the fact that it's only school that will change someone who are poor to be rich "No" we have other means, but educational system is the major one.

avoid problems with the government and try to imbue some basic skill for life. The ultra-poor do not even get that - which actually may be better.
To acquire skill is one of the important plan for someone that the family are not wealthy suppose to secure in order to elevate itself for the society, fighting government is not an option, so op I applaud you for creating this meditating topic.
3727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why on earth do you own bitcoin? on: June 29, 2021, 09:58:32 PM
Recently everyone is very anxious, the market from time to time falls, sometimes with the negative news waterfall, sometimes without the negative news waterfall, as for the positive news almost no, it really makes people hate the teeth itch. Whether it's profit withdrawal or principal loss, watching your money slowly being eaten up by the market is generally an individual's anxiety. The more we get to this point in time, the more I think it's important for us to ask, or for us to ask ourselves, what are you holding bitcoin or Ethereum or any other digital currency for?
For cryptocurrency market to fall does not mean that crypto holders are absolutely wrong by holding their bitcoin or any  other cryptocurrency, holding  a coin for intervals of years can  equally turn to positive gain, because i could remember vividly when bitcoin was at rate of ten (10k) in the year 2019 and 2020, those set of people who happened to purchased it at that point and refused to sell the coins till this period, i think they has made a huge amount of profit, this scenario just given an examples or the advantages of keeping bitcoin for a long period of time.so in summary nothing is wrong for holding a bitcoin from my perspective or sight.
3728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The First Bank In Mexico Is About to Start Accepting Bitcoin on: June 29, 2021, 05:35:31 PM
If such really happen in Mexico that means those countries who are criticising cryptocurrency is at wrong track, even from my perspective a country that endorse or accept cryptocurrency really wants to build up their economy standard from another form, because cryptocurrency will enhance to their development and also attract investors that collaborate with cryptocurrency, from my own understanding accepting bitcoin in particular will make their transactions so easy and lesser.
3729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to the coins after your death ? on: June 28, 2021, 10:39:43 PM
This particular topic has been discussed here before and this is another format of it, shall base on your topics i will render my own opinion, base on the topic nothing positive will come's out after a departure of someone that owns the coin and also departure on Earth, the only way the coin can exist is a situation whereby the person's wife or husband have the Private key or seed phrase of the , diseased wallets ,but a  process whereby no one knows the seed phrase of the wallet the coin can't be fine or transact with, so further more it's good to have a document whereby all the private key of cryptocurrency wallet have to be store or been intact in paper or file to avoid lost of life and lost coins in the wallet.
3730  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this a punishable offence? on: June 28, 2021, 10:08:51 PM
Actually a red trust is a penalty to anyone who is not doing what is not obtainable to the community, so the punishment is red trust, that's is the reason it doesn't been given any how or base on enemity or hatred to the community, it occurs base on the level of commitment,so therefore other users or people that's claiming to be newbies or novice have to learn or understand that what ever platform or community is kicking against is not supposed to be welcomed by anyone except a situation you are ready to face the consequences, so I'm using this time to let you know op, that the only person that have hundred percent (100%) right to remove your red tagged, is a user that red tagged you, but having it in mind that any other user your good with can free you from the red tag,i stand to let you know that its fallacy, and that is the reason it's good to follow the masses.
3731  Other / Meta / Re: An Alternative to Merit on: June 28, 2021, 09:28:24 PM

Merits are already enough. Implementing like just for those who doesn't have sendable merits would just simply eradicate the idea of meriting. Why? Merit already boosts someone's confidence when he/she receives one (a rewarding-like feeling for your efforts), and "Likes" on the other hand tends to give you the same feeling and worse is some can be boastful about it (if calculated on one's profile). It is not that necessary to implement a "liking" system for a forum that already has a better one.
Your right mate,Merits system is like the man power of the community and implementing another law is not really obtainable in order to favuor those who don't have sendable merit is not encouragable, because i understand that it's because of adoption of merit system that is making the community to be competitive and also interactive in terms of discovery, so given alternative to merit will make it lose it's potentiality or regards from my perspective, the existing policy is highly adorable because any amount of merit earned determine the amount of user sendable merit.
3732  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk has lasted a long time. Good job. on: June 28, 2021, 06:11:36 PM
I'm impressed that this website has lasted for such a long time. Eleven years! Certainly that time must have passed with occasional drama, not just with Satoshi leaving. It seems like this forum would attract more problems than most. (Although anything interesting and worthwhile attracts trolls these days..)   The increase of bitcoin's worth has no doubt helped.
Really the the platform have stayed more than my expectations, when i joined the community i taught the community is like a group that will not be interactive or been formative in terms of discussion, then i have to took my time to read through the history of the community, after then i have to notice that the community is broad and it's a continuous process irrespective the problems or challenges that is affecting it, i know vividly that for the community to stay up to one to five (1-5) years their is hope.
3733  Other / Meta / Re: How to earn merit on: June 28, 2021, 05:55:56 PM
I'm just responding to this thread because of the caution or the topic sentence, it's obvious to the forum that the only possible measures a community user can earn a merit is through research and it's more especially been innovative to the community by creating a topic that is not related to any topic in the community that are meaningful and educative to bitcointalk old user and new users, the major reason while some people stay stagnant via earning merit here is the inability for them to be creative, creativity is the pathways of earning merit using Ratimov and Charles Tim as primary example.
3734  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Go ahead and invest when ever you are ready on: June 27, 2021, 05:44:38 PM
<°°°°°°>

Depends on the amount the person is purchasing, in a case where the person is purchasing with a small amount and Bitcoin drops,  the person may loss all or half that was purchased.
Irrespective the amount of cryptocurrency your purchasing, i think some factors have to put into consideration before buying any cryptocurrency, except it's a situation whereby the investor is a novice in the industry, actually any investor target the dip time of cryptocurrency to avoid lost, except a situation where by the investor is a novice or is inquisitive to buy and hold, weather profit or lost occur via the process, it does not concern the investor.

Everyone has the time when it is good to purchase Bitcoin.
Yes of course, every investors knows the stipulated time to buy in order to make a profit, because no investors it major objectives is to get lost on the process of investment, that's the reason while they have to be conscious of market to enable them to grab the necessary information and the rudiments of cryptocurrency market sphere before purchasing to avoid business downfall.
3735  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Go ahead and invest when ever you are ready on: June 27, 2021, 05:03:38 PM
Actually people normally like to purchase cryptocurrency whenever the price decreases and stand sea within some intervals or period of time, because buying a cryptocurrency when the price is high the investor might be at the negative side of it which can equally result as huge lost,so buying a crypto whenever you feel like buying is not encouragable from my perspective, at least investor have to receive a signals or information or monitor the market of cryptocurrency before enrolling to buy cryptocurrency to avoid lost, actually the best time to buy and hold is when is in dip forms, so that it will enable the investor to make a profit irrespective the time frame of the holder.
3736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the Dip? on: June 27, 2021, 04:45:56 PM
I have been hearing people say "buy the dip". Memes about buying the dip have been trending on Twitter. Please what does it really mean to buy the dip? What happens when the dip dips? Is there a guide for this?
Here's a meme I recently saw and it has prompted this question
People have answered the question completely without any remainder, shall in addition to the answer, buying dip in cryptocurrency network simply means a way of buying asset when it have lost a values knowing that whenever it comes up you will be at positive side of it via surplus gain or profit, so that's the reason while whenever cryptocurrency is decreasing in values people are encouraged to purchase or buy and store because of future profit, so in other hands its it's a situation where by bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency dropped in price and you have the opportunity to buy.
3737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Quick advice to new crypto investors on: June 27, 2021, 04:25:50 PM
Cryptocurrencies investment, it's all about  movement of step by step , i think you should have undergo or understand the concept of cryptocurrency first before adventuring into it, investing in cryptocurrency is nice but you emphasising that cryptocurrency show's it potentiality during covid19...lol.does it mean that before pandemic crypto Lacks potentials..the answer is No because cryptocurrency is already in existence before pandemic and people has been investing on it in different dimensions or occasions, so at this juncture you have to make a proper research about cryptocurrency, or your long time stay in the bitcointalk community will expand you or educate you for preferable methods of cryptocurrency investment, try to observe the community by following the trading section and altcoins section, including bitcoin discussion board to give you more information about cryptocurrency.
3738  Economy / Reputation / Re: Updated status: Am now a HERO member on: June 27, 2021, 03:04:51 PM
Congratulations bro for your new rank, its obvious that new position or achievement in the community is what to celebrate to highest level and more specifically the rank of Hero Member that's known as second position to get to the final destination of the community rank or position, i sincerely jubilate with you because it's not an easy tax before a user will get such position here, at least newbies have to see the level of joy in your heart and everyone is celebrating because of you the rank, this particular position you secured this month shows that you really have determination for the development of the community, let me use this medium to say that bitcointalk community rank is been achieved base on the gravity of personal research and commitment, congrats again bro.
3739  Economy / Speculation / Re: Market Prediction for 2024 on: June 27, 2021, 04:10:31 AM
Just a calculated Prediction: Crypto Market will be worth $8 Trillion in Sept, 2024.

Bitcoin Price: $240,000
Ethereum Price: $14,136
Cardano Price: $10.16
BNB Price: $2,176

What do you think about my prediction?
Shall it's called prediction, you are just assuming that's the reason, but I'm not sure that all this points of prediction will come to reality most especially the bitcoin aspect, you can be right in altcoin section or aspect of prediction but bitcoin I don't really have trust on btc, because bitcoin can remain to one values for two years going up and down, because it's has happened before throughout the year of 2020, and the price of btc has been stagnant for period of time, so such a thing might happen again while we are looking up to it's increment via 2023 and 2024.
3740  Economy / Speculation / Re: Summer dip?!, December price outcome? ---> JOIN and guess the price GO! on: June 27, 2021, 03:53:08 AM
$31,342.13 and if I understood correctly that would be box 209.
Decimals get ignored. I'm not sure yet if predictions without reasoning behind it are allowed. I'll ask El duderino_.
Update: See below: tell us why!
Your right some are predicting without be sure of their digits and decimal points, this is to show that some people are using the prediction to complete their weekly post quota, because i think making decisions via this prediction the user have to check and cross check and make a proper research before concluding or dropping valid digits, it's something that involves time and the accuracy have to be, i think that should be one of the major reasons while op said it' categorically that it's only people that secured up to 250 merits are eligible to partake for the contest.
