Please gouge my eyes out .... let Ronaldo move to any Premier League club but not to Manchester United! If he really decides to do it, then most likely I will cease to be a fan of Real. Anyway, 700k pounds a week, although it will make him the highest paid player in the Premier League, but not the most important.
I know what you mean. Same Ole, same Ole. Cheesy
He was set to go towards a City offer but something caught his eye at his old stomping ground a decade prior I guess. Roll Eyes
But yeah 480,000 euros a week (from the sources I had been reading on since the news broke yesterday) is still good bank for a player not in his prime.
It would of been a deal for a Harry Kane who has still another 10 years left of him left to play in the EPL.

There was something about his number being already taken by a player on the Manchester United team roster. But it seems to be sorted out since Cavani will be on the bench now.
https://www.sportbible.com/football/news-man-united-star-to-give-up-shirt-number-for-cristiano-ronaldo-20210828

I thought they traded him before the season started. Maybe back to PSG just like with Jesse Lingard is coming back to Old Trafford with his tenure at West Ham is done.

Oh yeah, don't forget to take soccer blackjack today as they raised the max bet to 5mbtc for this one:

Ronaldo did make a huge contribution to Juventus, but Juventus losing Ronaldo will not die. Because there are still many other good players
at Juventus, maybe Juventus just needs to buy new strikers if Ronaldo does move. The problem is that until now there has been no official
offer from Man City to buy Ronaldo, maybe Man City are still considering buying Ronaldo who is 36 years old and has a big salary.
But I believe in the end Man City will make an offer to buy Ronaldo, because they need strikers and the transfer market closes in a few days.
Man City don't have many options, after failing to get Kane.

Right now the rumors of Ronaldo going to Manchester City are very strong, even many videos (regardless of whether the video is genuine or not) of Ronaldo in Manchester City uniform have been circulating on social media such as the screenshots has my took.
with the departure ronaldo, of course juventus should be able to find other attackers in the near future, because of course juventus only relying on paulo dybala and alvaro morata in their front lines right now, with the competition in serie A anda champion league getting tougher of course paulo dybala and morata are not enough,so like it or not juventus should already have a target player to replace ronaldo.
Looks like he really wanted to make a move after Messi said goodbye to his beloved team.
I watched their last match and having a draw after leading 2-0 and then having his potential game winning goal right at the end must of been what broke the camel's back for him.
And finally decided enough is enough and guess he liked it at Manchester United and thought City already had too many star players on it as it is.

Well talking about Serie A and EPL on this thread really paid off! Grin
Looks like the Italia league will be saying arrivederci to Christano Rolando and a return to a Top Flite club in the Premier league once again.

Massive move and will like to see him play along side with the likes of Salah, Mane, Pobga and Bruno. Cool

Those who are interested in League play should be aware of a new set of skins available for this online game last week.
https://www.oneesports.gg/mobile-legends/mlbb-x-transformers-skins-release
Here is a video of what it looks like being used:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUbDBzcUH6I

Think it is a limited run up until November to play with these characters in game but it is a step in the right direction to get other genres modeled into game play and what can be developed into the future.
3725  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FTX exchange offering bitcoin in their partnership with the MLB on: August 27, 2021, 01:04:50 PM
What FTX is doing is the total opposite of what Binance did, they are tapping into areas where there is no involvement of Crypto. They are trying to bring in people who have never heard of Binance and but also want to get into crypto- sort of what coinbase is doing too. And its working for them. FTX is growing crazily in popularity amidst people who don't know cowshit about crypto.

Their approach was definitely really interesting and really clever. Heavily advertising cryptocurrency to the gaming industry — that ONE industry that's highly likely to totally grasp the concept of digital goods because of the high amounts of spending on skins and game currencies. It's actually genius that I'm totally shocked it's seems that they're the first exchange to pull something like this off.
Too right mk4.
Heard from a news feed FTX had partnered with League of Legends for something recently. Whether that be for advertising in game or sponsored a team.
I would need to check to see which one it was but it was late last week from what I heard so the ink must be still fresh on this partnership.
But they are going hard for exposure towards the right individuals they focus on advertising their exchange too.

Match day two in the Serie A today and am hoping Inter Milan can score alot of goals this time around.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/italy/serie-a/hellas-verona-v-inter-milano-60f013a181f8308c104ebfe2
They should be alright even without their favorite striker Lukaku off to Chelsea where he seems to fit right at home in the EPL scoring his first time out and in the last match.
I also have them winning their next match this weekend as well. Tuchel's side is just too good to fall to anyone even LFC.
https://sportsbet.io/sports/event/soccer/england/premier-league/liverpool-fc-v-chelsea-fc-611971c677bc371d766b2ce5

Don't know if anyone else saw that Bayern Munich scored an astounding 12 goals in their last match against Bremer SV in DFB Pokal on Wednesday.
That doesn't look like a soccer match but a baseball or football score line.

True HeRetiK. It seems the oldest of them have sold for a record amount a couple of days ago.
Something of a fad from the good old days comes into the future in the form of NFTS.

Does anyone remember those pet rocks? Cheesy

Also some 12 year old coder made alot by selling an NFT called Weird Whales just recently too.

Good for him on getting in early on the NFT craze lately.

3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC Fight Night & Main Event: Sportsbet.io Predictions & discussion on: August 27, 2021, 12:37:40 PM
My martingale continues and I split it into two matches, picking Gilbert Ubina at 2.5 and Giga Chikadze at a solid 2.0.  Use boosts to get those prices, also might be wise to use boosts at each as there's still time in the 24 hours between boost refreshes;)

Have a good feeling at least one should hit! Not from research, naturally. Just pure, unadulterated, gut feeling.
That is all it comes down to when we are talking about these fight nights and for the UFC in general.
A gut feeling.
You put your money down on who you imagine will win hoping that pick ends it early and it doesn't come down to a judges decision. Because those can be really askewed from what everybody else has seen watching the exact same fight. Cheesy
In the main event for this weekend I do like Barboza from what I have seen in the past fight from him.
So will go with him on this one. Sorry Buywaytress.

3731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why such high fees in ETH? on: August 26, 2021, 12:44:55 PM
I think that miners also have a role to play in all these, and hence the reason Ethereum team are trying their best to ensure all these issues like gas fee and speed are taken care of in the next upgrade.
However, every upgrade done by a team on their platform have a specific function or reason for that upgrade, some might be strictly for security, some for speed, some for more user-friendly interface and so on, in the case of Ethereum, the London hard fork was done in order to reduce the circulating supply of ETH, hence in every transaction ETH coin is burnt; thus it can be seen that the London hard fork have no business with gas fees but we should wait for the ETH 2.0.
Also, the last time this fees was this high was months ago, during the bull run, that is, the more the ETH price increases, the more the value of gas fees increases, nevertheless the team have understood that more growth of Ethereum blockchain depends on their ability to solve this issue.
It is strange since the london hard fork they are burning over 6000eth per day last time I looked.
Gas fees are higher still but the ones processing these high limit transactions are making less afterwards.
Even with the use of the ethereum blockchain at it's highest because of projects such as NFTs and DeFi using it to facilitate their customers.

3733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Visa purchases first NFT and crypto prices skyrocket. BTC passes $50k resistance on: August 24, 2021, 12:10:39 PM
It is nothing more than a outlet for those who are saying it has nothing to do with the rise of anything related to cryptocurrencies.
They are not a coin but an asset. So saying it is just another shitcoin is false. For example, with the topic of axie infinity and their market coming up in this discussion, those are listed under the category of NFT. They also have a coin listed under the symbol AXS.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/axie-infinity

Now those are shitcoins.

I see these NFT as something that are like objects such as cs:go skins which can be traded within their own marketplace.
Much different than a cryptocurrency.
It did bring the attention of many stock holders in VISA to look with a more serious perception of what cryptocurrencies hence bitcoin are.
The news, which I viewed as good for all crypto (including bitcoin Wink), could of had an effect in the price.
I was merely stating a fact and never did say was the reason it did.
3734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Visa purchases first NFT and crypto prices skyrocket. BTC passes $50k resistance on: August 23, 2021, 09:08:29 PM
CryptoPunks are still making money, the hodlers of that NFT are definitely enjoying big profits right now. I feel like Visa should also get into the market of Axie Infinity and try to build a team there, I mean they can probably use scholarships as a way to promote their company in cryptospace.
Axie Infinity might not be their kind of thing.
I don't think they will have someone who is on their platform to play the game day in and day out from what I can tell has players put in hours to play this game.
Just to have something sitting in their possession is their kind of style since it takes nothing more than just HODLing the token to have the item increase in value. And yes, I know some NPC in axies can do the same but those are so called "unicorn" characters which were purchased back in January which are called Mystics. Nobody is going to sell those items as they would be losing out on the sale. Because they make the player triple the amount then just regular axie NPCs.

This feels kinda strange though, I wonder what they're trying to achieve by this. Although it's still quite a positive thing if visa is cryptophillic, since it's probably the largest payment processor out there.

It might also go some way to proving they're secure if they want to encorporate crypto custody or payment processing in the future.
But Visa are the provider of crypto.com so they already have their hand in the pie of cryptocurrencies.
They have been working on their own payment processing for a while now so not needing to support these crypto companies such as the fore mentioned one.

Visa corporation made a first time purchase and diving in the NFT market with a $150k buy of a single cryptopunk.
The company has stated earlier today on their official twitter the following:

Cryptopunk #7610 is claimed by Visa:

Now just to let those who were asking about the free 4-3 and Free 6-6 promotions were since the last they were seen was during the euros.
They are back for week 2 shown and links below:
Already took them, as always I have a good feeling about 4-3 promo while 6-6 always ends very badly for me. Should have learn to get some of those correct scores right by now with the amount of Superbru predictions I am making every year Smiley
I won 4-3 couple of times, got that 10$ consolation maybe 10 times and I have never had more then 1 correct in 6-6.
I've won the free 4-3 promo twice and the consolation prize about 5- 6 times, so my statistics aren't great for a pro, and my best free 6-6 prediction since I started playing is 4 right predictions. @rdbase Do you still have a zero(0) score for both 4-3 and 6-6?  Grin
I'll beat your stats this season @Trofo
@igehhh No broke that streak with the 4-3 yesterday. Had 3/4 correct just the corners were something like 17 (9 Arsenal and 8 Chelsea). That was alot of corners in the last 20 minutes cause from the stream I was watching there were 3 and 5 before I turned it off.
Would of made for a 21 in blackjack with the score 2-0 for Tuchel's side except for the extra card.

Seems the soccer blackjack had hit twice over the weekend.
So good for you guys who took them both with the PSG one up for the maximum wagered amount at 4.99mbtc.
Here is the thread to follow up and know when the next one will be available to place a bet on:

Had a few wins, went the other way with Cannonier as it looked like he could go farther from how his past matches had proven.
Didn't realize before the fight he was on a layoff for so long but so was Madsen tending to his own family problems.
This only shows a heart of a champ to comeback still be in form and to last a full 4 or 5 rounds not losing a tick in their stride.

The biggest highlight of the night was Ignacio Bahamondes KO of Roosevelt Roberts.
With only 5.5 seconds left of the match left he did an amazing spin kick to end the fight. If he didn't do that, he definitely would of lost the fight.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hseMQnF5h8Q

I was surprised he could still see him bleeding from both eyes to land that match ending kick.
3738  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread on: August 21, 2021, 09:16:13 PM
Alot of goals in the matches I watched on matchday 1 of this league and it was a bit more interesting than the ones I watch in the epl earlier on.
Inter Milan match didn't disappoint with 4 goal to nil and it was a great game to watch if your just sitting down to see Serie A league play for the first time. Because usually I just bet on the favorites and don't end up watching the games, but since being in the pool this year I decided to keep my afternoon's free to see what I was missing out on.
The next one was Atalanta who didn't go away after losing the lead half way through the next 45 minutes.
Scoring a game winning goal at the last minute of injury time made for an enjoyable match to end the day.
Can't wait for the next set of matches for tomorrow and expecting alot more goals from Juventus, Napoli and Roma.

These specials are good to take as I took the 7/1 on PSG & Leipzig but stuttgart didn't score.
Looks like Real Betis was the only one which didn't win their match as it ended in a draw.
In the EPL I believe there were specials but with Liverpool's match starting as the early match of the day I must of missed them.
LFC is doing good against burnley and pressing them.

Just a reminder that Serie A begins today in about 5 hours from now with a brand new season of goals!
