3721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The benefits of bitcoin payouts for the gaming industry on: March 13, 2017, 07:16:26 AM
that is right, and that is what i said to steam in my email request so that they add bitcoin payment option too. of course they didn't do it right away by that time but eventually they realized this and added their bitcoin payment last year.
and i think it helped a lot of us bitcoin gamers to have an awesome way of spending our bitcoin instead of using credit cards.
3722  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to know if a gambling site is a scam or not? on: March 12, 2017, 06:58:10 AM
How do you know if the gambling site is a scam or not? how you trust a gambling site for you credit card and know its not a scam?

Read some thread on Bitcointalk. Read some reviews on google too. However, google are not trustful because some website are paid to write good thing about scamming casinos. And you should learn to protect yourself first when you join this cyber world. The best way (in my opinion) is to ask for information from members from this forum. They are reliable and you can trust them

Thanks for the help, but how do you that google can help you by searching as you said some companies offer to pay good reviews on scam gambling sites. How would i know if member from this forum would surely help me?. As a newbie. It would hard for me to trust members in here right?.

you are not supposed to take the words of a random person on the internet as granted ever. no matter if it is positive review or negative review. these feedbacks are just there to give you some general opinion about a particular service. you need to learn to read them and process it yourself. see if they are lying when they say something is good or bad and see if they provide any proof when they say it or are they just saying a random thing or even possibly getting paid to say it or for example are the competition who are saying it.

and in the end you should always use money that you can afford to lose.
3723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ! Red Alert ! Litecoin Core 0.13.2 for Windows Have Trojan Virus on: March 12, 2017, 06:43:15 AM
what you should always do:
  • Download from the official source (in this case check the link in picture it seems to be correct)
  • Check the signature of the file you downloaded to make sure it is authentic (this is important and people always forget it)
  • If the previous two were correct and your antivirus still warns you, submit the file for analysis (all AVs have this option that you upload it to the AV servers directly through the AV window). and ask them why they are detecting this as a malware in an Email or in the same window. if it was a false positive, it will (most probably) be removed in the next AV update depending on how good or bad the AV support team are.
  • as an alternative you can always go to the github repository and build the wallet directly from the source code on your own. they all should have a guide on how to do it.
3724  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: March 12, 2017, 06:35:26 AM
1 year later or so probably. We entered bear market after the ETF decision. I am pretty sure that we will see sub 1000 in this year. Maybe lower. Then its going to recover again and will become stable around 1000. When its distributed widely enough, then it will keep building from that point. There are still people with thousands of bitcoins who can manipulate the market with a mouse click. Those people should do their tricks a few more times so the other people gather their coins up. That's how bitcoins are being distributed. The more pump/dumps happen in the near future, the less pump/dumps will happen in the distant future.

they did manipulate the price, check the charts and you will see the result, and also make sure to check the timeframes and see "how long" they could keep the price down. hint: it was less than a minute.
the time when whales could easily manipulate the price and get away with it is slowly coming to an end. now for each dump they perform there are hundred others who will buy their cheaply dumped coins.

with that said, i seriously doubt that we can see below $1000 price ever again. we already saw it with the initial massive dump and the price couldn't even last there for longer than a minute. and the only reason why it went that low was because the orderbooks are still too thin but the silent buy support has always been there to buy it back up.
3725  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: March 12, 2017, 06:28:26 AM
Maybe it depends, If China has a large volume of bitcoin let's say the 50% of total volume of bitcoin then yes, You can control a currency if you have the most volume of it because the price is depends on demand and supply, and china is a big country given that, So I think is yes.
China got almost or over 50% of the bitcoin supply because most of the early birds are there like the early miners, investors and those businesses who included bitcoin on their business. So i think china got the control someday because if you have the most of the supply then you can control the market by doing pump and dump scheme and it will be useful to them someday if the price is very high and the only thing that they will do is to harvest their profits.

100% pure Bullshit.

first of all you have no way of knowing who has how much and you are talking out of your ass when you say China has 50% of bitcoin supply.
secondly you have no idea what you are talking about when you say "early birds" are in China. all those early adopters of bitcoin who were mining bitcoin when you didn't even know what bitcoin is, were from anywhere but China. China came in when they started to produce ASIC miners and after a while when price went to ATH back in 2013 and slowly "mining farms" grew and mining farm doesn't mean China has a lot of supply of bitcoin.
also miners sell their coins to cover the cost of mining and pay the bills, which means they can not be holding big amounts

and in the end you don't even know what the word pump and dump means, take a look at the charts and educate yourself about pump and dump before giving opinion about something you don't understand.
3726  Economy / Speculation / Re: At what price is the Moon landing? on: March 12, 2017, 06:22:52 AM
But right now the node count is falling. Full nodes are dropping like flies and the network is growing more vulnerable every day.

hmm, aren't you a bit too dramatic?
according to https://bitnodes.21.co/ we have 6300 active bitcoin nodes right now. and whenever i check this site and the stats every now and them it is around the same number. actually it was 5000 nodes before.

so what do you mean by "right now node count is falling"?!!
3727  Economy / Speculation / Re: from 1200 to 1350 took only 4 minutes and still rising on: March 11, 2017, 09:01:54 AM
bitcoin price down and crash not incraese after SEC rejected bitcoin

what crash? you mean the manipulation when there was a dump and then it started a rippling effect of all the weak hands panic and start selling their coins and running away with their asses on fire and lots of loss. you mean this followed by whales again buying the very cheap coins they saw on the market at the bottom and price coming back up? and you mean the crash when the same weak hands will start buying back again when price started going back up again in very short while? you mean the same story that has been happening over and over each month?

then yeah i agree there is such a crash.
3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: March 11, 2017, 08:55:41 AM
my favorite sports to bet on is football because i have watched a lot of it, and my knowledge and information is all there. in the rest of the sports i am less than useless, i have seen them but never watched that many matches to be able to know what is what!

but personally i love esports a lot more, although it has been a while since i myself played any of the games but i usually follow the major tournaments so i am pretty up to date and know almost all the teams and their strengths and weaknesses. and that always gives you an edge in betting.
3729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ETF Rejected on: March 11, 2017, 08:45:50 AM
I knew it would be rejected. It seems to price sank a bit, but still resists as for now. Let's hope it does not go too deep or we might disturb the good equilibria we built lately.

the equilibrium must be disturbed so that we can move on forward. if it remains the same stable price and fixed, then there will never be any rises. many are trading bitcoin and working with this exact fluctuations to make money.
in the long term, there is a perfect trend which you can also call equilibrium. and don't forget that supply and demand is constantly changing (in case of bitcoin the demand is rising) so the prices change.
3730  Economy / Speculation / Re: in 8 years bitcoin didn't rise from $0 to $1000+ because of ETF... on: March 11, 2017, 08:30:39 AM
It's funny that people can't move on about the rejection of ETF

this is just a phase, people in bitcoinestan! seems to be seeking some news to make themselves busy with.
think back to any of the previous years, every now and then there is some news like this that people start fixating on sometimes for a short time and sometimes for a longer time. today it was ETF, yesterday it was PBoC before that it was halvening and way before than it was Mike Hearn FUD and so on.
and none of them ever matter!
3731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash worshippers writing FUD about Bitcoin won't help for you on: March 10, 2017, 07:08:49 AM
First fight with Ethereum, because it's useless even without FUD. Dash is in early stage and very depended on Bitcoin, it won't help for you to write FUD about Bitcoin

those saying these stuff will disagree with you because their goal for saying the FUD about bitcoin and Dash is something else. they are not looking for making proper discussion or use facts, they just spread FUD to hype the altcoin temporarily and help contribute to the pump so they can dump their bags they are holding for a long time.
3732  Economy / Speculation / Re: prices are constantly changing how to predict the price of bitcoin? on: March 10, 2017, 06:28:00 AM
you can never predict the future price, you can only predict a couple of possibilities that can or can not pass. then act based on the most possible one(s) and hope for the best results.
and don't think too much about the analysis, mostly they are for wasting time and having some very general outlook, specially when it comes to bitcoin.
3733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I exchange one BTC for one month of labor? on: March 10, 2017, 06:03:35 AM
only for one month, then yeah why not. if one month payment is not life and death for you then yeah. but for many people who live from paycheck to paycheck and at the end of the month they have less than they spend it is not such a good idea.
going in bitcoin should always be with money you can afford to lose. it is a great investment and a great currency but it is not free of risk. and the risk is not just about the price, what if you lost your private keys for example because of hardware failure or a fire.
3734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: March 09, 2017, 06:34:53 AM

It will be interesting to see how PBOC decision on March 11 affects bitcoins value. I already withdrawn all my casino investments as I need to shift into altcoins once there is a rejection. Anyway in the long run bitcoin should continue to be bullish. Crypto-Games is so cool accepting eight coins.

If it turns out that they made the right decision then the price could easily reach 2k USD however if it doesnt then the price might be going down to the range of 700-800 so it is much better to sell some bitcoin while the price is still high and you can always buy back at the lower price. This is for coingamblingreview to consider as well

why do you say $700-800 as the bottom! i don't get it. there is no reason for price to go that low. have you forgotten where we started when news about ETF became viral? it was way past $1100 and even if the FUD from ETF possible rejection is combined with the FUD about split and FUD from China i can't see any price lower than $900
there is just too much buy support.
3735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How far do you think ETH will go? on: March 09, 2017, 06:21:14 AM
I put in about $100 into ETH yesterday and plan on putting another $100 in today. Last I checked, it was around $3 per ETH and now it's at $19 which is absolutely great.

How many of you have invested in ETH and how far do you think it will go in the next couple of years?

you just bought into the bubble, you should have bought before it meaning buying at 0.011BTC ($10.9) and now with this investment at this point your possibility of losing money is very high.

so far you have lost 9.1% of your investment in one day meaning you lost $9.1 out of $100

there may be some rises in the short term, specially because of bitcoin price and how it is these days but in the longer term this price will go back down to $10-$11 again very soon.
3736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Positive news for Chinese players : We are going to see $2000 in March itself ? on: March 09, 2017, 06:12:40 AM
why are people in this board always so dramatic about bitcoin price.
when there is a small dip or a bad news of any kind they start putting up obituaries about price falling under $1000 and everything is finished, blah blah.
and when there is a small rise or a good news of any kind they start talking about moon and prices going up in a short time.

$2000 in March! no way. but there will be a big rise soon because of this trace back and because of all the money we all gained from the rise.
3737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: March 09, 2017, 06:06:16 AM
well it is pretty fun when you make 200% profit on the money you invested in bitcoin only in a year and when you have been doing that for over 3 years this profit accumulates to a big amount and that is only the profit you get from holding bitcoin for long term not trading bitcoin as in selling high and buying back low that way you could have made a lot more than this.
3738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: OVERVIEW OF ALTCOIN TRADING PLATFORMS on: March 08, 2017, 08:11:07 AM
i think it is best if you add the link to the "fee page" of each of these exchanges unless you are willing to write down all the details and update it regularly which is not practically possible.
for example trading fee of some of these exchanges change with your trade volume in some interval (usually 1 month) so it is best to link the page. also the withdrawal fee is different for each coin which again is listed in that page.

here is my favorite:
bittrex (https://bittrex.com/):
trade fee: 0.25% https://bittrex.com/Fees
withdrawal fee: 20K satoshi
support: never had to use it so far Smiley
3739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone believe the hype that Ether is the next big thing? on: March 08, 2017, 08:02:29 AM
if this was a topic that i saw 1 or 2 days ago i would have said it is now in a bubble and will pop soon and price will slowly crawl back down to 0.01 and below exactly like the previous pumps in ethereum.

but ever since the bitcoin price dip because of the massive scale FUD i am going to change my answer to "it may go higher from 0.015BTC to 0.02BTC even" because ethereum is known to use opportunities like this to put some wood in the FUD fire and take advantage of the situation and pump real hard.

it wouldn't be the first time either. remember last year's massive scale FUD around $400-$500 bitcoin price? the same story is being repeated.

p.s. this topic belongs to altcoin speculation board.
3740  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's with the price dropping? on: March 08, 2017, 07:56:19 AM
Quote
do you think that bitcoins prior to the fork will no longer hold any value or if you try to transfer them then they will never get included and validated by miners and nodes?

Why would you think that? BU makes Bitcoin transactions on the Bitcoin network. The transaction format is unchanged. (Unlike The SegWit Omnibus Changeset, which introduces a new transaction format).

because of FUD.
people fear the word "Fork" or i better say they are programmed to fear it by the propaganda both sides use. and when this word is accompanied by the word "Hard" they are again told to panic.

you can see an example of this above my comment by kwukduck and others in this board and other places, when they throw in words like "hardfork" with the words like "split" and then they slip in a line about "ETH/ETC split because of fork". and to someone who doesn't know anything it seems like bitcoin is ending Cheesy
