2881  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁 LOTTERY 🎁15 BILLION BETS🎁 on: September 16, 2017, 05:51:46 AM
I go on bitsler today and notice im banned for an entire year for what reason I hardly have used the site in weeks what is going on?

Never mind I just left my vpn on works when I disable it

It looks like they are trying to remove all those multiple accounts created on same IP addresses. If you don't have funds in that account then no need to worry but before creating a new account from same IP address you better check with admin otherwise you may face the same issue again. OR you may need to use one dedicated proxy IP for the new account.

Problems with all these players using VPN getting banned is that most of them all use the exact same VPN. There aren't that many VPN that accept bitcoin (probably due to abuse) and those that accept most require some form of personal info.

The ones that don't or avoid that info are the ones that are commonly used on the bitcoin websites. So what usually happens is someone tries some hack, and it ends up getting the entire subnet banned pretty much.
Additionally they want to avoid that abuse on the free faucet in which if played righy will give you more than .001 BTC wins in one game, problem is even limiting the claims it not enough for Bitsler to stop the abised as several accounts can be created in multiple addresses created in vpn. So some promos like free giveaways from chatty bot and rains will also be won by multiple accounts of the same user. With Bitsler strict rules it is a fair game for all of the members playing in Bitsler.

When the site was new, they won't mind all these multiple accounts much because they want more and more people to play these games. But now after they become famous and got thousands of players, and everyone starts playing only with free money then site need to spend a lot of money on these free money so they will tighten the rules and remove all those multiple accounts.

nah, i have actually seen new sites banning a lot of multi accounts. in fact i do believe that new sites are a lot more strict about multi accounts and faucet abuse than old and famous gambling sites. because the old and famous are making a lot of money and have a lot of users so it may be a bit hard to find these. but in a new site you have a handful of players and when 90% of the accounts belong to 1 IP who is claiming all site's funds from faucet it is obvious.
2882  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you Do When You Run Out of Money to BUY During Such a Great Opportunity? on: September 15, 2017, 06:06:53 AM
I STOP BEING GREEDY Smiley

that is a huge issue if you start being greedy. you always should mange the risks you are taking and you usually do that by investing a manageable amount of money. i know it is very tempting and you may even be 99.99% sure that there is pure profit in buying more and investing more but it is not a wise decision to go out of your previous plans.
there is no harm in increasing the amount of investment a little bit though. for example increasing it by 10% just because you are nearly sure there is a rise but it should still be within reasonable limits to manage the risks.
2883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with Airdropped Coins on: September 15, 2017, 05:57:26 AM
it mainly depends on the coin to be honest.
most of these airdrop tokens are not even worth claiming. they are waste of time because of their low price which is also dropping hard and their uselessness. but rarely you can find an airdrop that has some potential. it may even introduce you to a good altcoin. or even a pumping one to give you a huge profit.

the only one that i claimed with enthusiasm to hold has been Byteball. the rest of them i either don't bother with or dump as soon as i receive them and for good reasons too.
2884  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin and altcoin to fall further? on: September 15, 2017, 05:49:18 AM
Do you guys expect further falls in bitcoin and altcoins this week and coming weekend?

it is sad but it actually depends on what news comes out!
it can go either way, although more drop is much harder now that a big drop has taken place. but in the end the FUD news is not yet at an end and it can go either way.

if you want to invest then it is a good time to start getting your money out of your wallet to exchanges in order to be ready to jump in.
2885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Total Supply on: September 15, 2017, 05:43:11 AM
he spent 1000 bitcoins to buy a pizza in 2010.
If he did not spend and hold onto 1000 bitcoins, today he would've had 1000 bitcoins X $3000 per bitcoin = $3,000,000 USD.

simple math.

LOL...seriously....LOL.

Let's focus on YOU.  YOU have "x" amount of money to spend to buy BTC or a fraction thereof.  My guess is that you don't have enough to buy 1 BTC.  So you put whatever money you have to spend into BTC and wind up with 0.05% of 1 BTC.  You now have $150 worth of BTC.  Let's pretend that, in the future, that 0.05% of 1 BTC increases in value by 10,000%.  You now have $15,000 worth of BTC or about 4-5 BTC at current prices.

Tell me....do you really care that you still only hold 0.05% of 1 BTC or that you have profited 10,000%?  Simple logic (and math).

You only get to make 1 choice since you are not an alchemist.

double LOL.
what else were you expecting? did you think you can invest $150 in bitcoin and then own $1,000,000,000 after the price rise? you reap what you sow. if you invest $1 you will be left with a smaller profit. and if you invest $100000000 then you will be left with a bigger profit.
2886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 15, 2017, 05:37:35 AM
no Tom, we are not dead without China.

in fact i do believe that the market can have a much healthier course if China were to disappear and never come back to the cryptocurrency market. because for years we keep hearing the same thing about Chinese government banning bitcoin and it has always been a lie just like this time. it keeps repeating and the only effect is big swings which increases the volatility and that is bad for a currency.
2887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you juggle your portfolio? on: September 13, 2017, 06:14:29 AM
In a volatile market,
What are your strategies to handle your portfolio?
Do you move around? Do you stay hodling?

obviously when the market is highly volatile you must move around constantly and hold what you believe will rise in long term. and that is bitcoin. or if you want to be safe you go back to fiat.

what i do is that i only join the hot coins not the coins that have been hot a while ago! that means i catch the rises not the coins that may rise. and this i believe is a key factor in making profit in this market. most people around here just go in a big altcoin and invest a lot. then they sit on it waiting for the price to go up and keep posting on bitcointalk and other places in hopes that it goes up just because they support it verbally! that never ends well for them. and while they are sitting on their investments, other coins are rising up fast.
2888  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looks like he is right - BTC price on: September 13, 2017, 06:05:47 AM
drawing random lines on a chart and posting it on twitter doesn't make it correct "prediction" neither an "analysis".

right now price is being pushed down with negative news and FUD which is causing panic. there is no analysis that can factor in this type of pressure on the market. he can draw all the lines he wants on the charts but none of them will show the fact that all the social media is now attacking bitcoin in full force.
the "China ban bitcoin" thing was the start of the FUD, now they are also talking about bitcoin on national TV and calling it things such as "fraud" even.

this is obviously an orchestrated assault on bitcoin, possibly they have even heavily invested in making money from bitcoin during its drop too.
truth be told i wouldn't be one bit surprised to hear JP Morgan has been shorting bitcoin in the past 24 hours.
2889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All coins crashing - are they too linked to BTC on: September 13, 2017, 05:57:53 AM
it is funny to see this 3-months-old-topic bumped now! because you can see absolutely NOTHING has changed about the market nor the users. you can see all the same arguments and you can see how full of shit some users are when they are calling the so called "bottom" of bitcoin price here!

the funnier part is all the accounts that has been created to just answer questions like this and then disappeared from the forum, probably back to their main accounts.
2890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Ban on ICO is Temporary on: September 13, 2017, 05:50:06 AM
i still don't understand why people try so hard to relate this to bitcoin!
all these news regarding past weeks are about ICOs and there are no ICOs on bitcoin and a very small percentage of them even accept bitcoin! they are based on ETH and they also accept ETH!
but people still panic over bitcoin!

and the drama about exchanges is also not new! Chinese central bank PBOC has been studying them for months. it even started last year. and they even suspended their work for a couple of months this year. and this is the follow up to the same inspections.
2891  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Is Falling Down? on: September 13, 2017, 05:43:27 AM
Probably because of China possibly banning exchanges soon, and because of the recent Tweet of Charlie Lee (litecoin founder) saying that China finally banned bitcoin; which we all know is untrue and unconfirmed. Though Charlie Lee already deleted the tweet recently probably realizing what he has done.

Also, the "banning" of ICOs recently also did a significant amount of drop in price.

That's so LOL by Charlie Lee.  For a guy who has been in crypto a lot longer than most of us, and a founder of one of the most popular alts at that, he still acts like your average trolling Bitcoiner.  I love it!  Cheesy

Anyway, maybe Charlie heard some solid info from his brother regarding China's ban?

some time ago i would have been mad about people spreading FUD but now i say why not!
when there are panic sellers around who will be providing you with easy profit just because they are idiots, why not take advantage of them. we should milk them dry until they either leave this market or stop giving us milk Wink
2892  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DUMP - CHINESE ARE OFFLOADING... on: September 12, 2017, 06:30:39 AM
... on LBC - a chinese man. He said ...

since when "a" man represents the whole country and what all the people there are doing?

how many "1 man" do you want me to show you on localbitcoins from different parts of the world that are selling their bitcoin on there? it is nothing new for people to see their coins you know! they have been doing it ever since bitcoin started to have a fiat value and be able to be traded against it. some people sell, some others buy! Cheesy
2893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Shorting profitable??? on: September 12, 2017, 06:17:48 AM
Shorting is too much like gambling to me....unless I had reliable inside information (which is illegal to act on)...so no, I don't short. Especially something as volatile as cryptocurrencies.

shorting like any other trading strategy is not at all a "gambling". and although insider information is obviously helpful but it is not at all mandatory in order to be successful in it.
just like any other trading strategy, in shorting you also make an analysis of the market and come up with a speculation. we all know certain cases where bitcoin price falls. they never fail us. for example you don't need to know some secret information to be able to predict a drop after the FUD about bitcoin split is being spread. or the FUD about China banning bitcoin, .... and lots more. you just have to watch out and act fast.
2894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is long term investment on: September 12, 2017, 06:08:59 AM
a long term investment is something that goes up in long term! but that is a very simple explanation of it. in fact a long term investment is something that is consistently rising over long term and if it has any drops then they are temporary before the rise continues.

this definition is not at all compatible with how ETH is performing.

look at its charts. the price is slowly dropping with little jumps then more drop. then there is a pump which only lasts about a month or two. then the dropping continues...
something that is going down in general and rising only in a short term once in a while can NOT be a good long term investment. it is only a short term investment and that only during that "rising period" which we call a pump.
2895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effects of ICO to Bitcoin on: September 12, 2017, 06:00:26 AM
What do you think will be the effect/s of ICO to bitcoins?
What are your insights with regards to the change in price of bitcoins when ICO starts?

today's current temperature of where i live is 33°C and it is partly cloudy. these stats have the same effect on bitcoin as ICO has.
2896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: They say it is better than Bitcoin and not a scam, how will you respond? on: September 12, 2017, 05:54:31 AM
words are meaningless and they cost nothing. people throw them around as they like. so far there have been at least a couple of hundred altcoins that have said the same thing. claims of not being a scam and claims of being "better" than bitcoin. none of them have ever been true.

in fact when something feels the need to "say" they are better, it means they are in reality full of shit.
2897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOOMBERG JUST REPORTED: China bans cryptocurrency exchanges on: September 11, 2017, 05:54:04 AM
That part of this article does nothing to prove or disprove the actual information being reported.

that is the issue with the news at times like this. they never say something clear. part of it is because of naughty journalism though Smiley
they always say things like this: "it is said they are going to ban", "Craig Wright claimed to be Satoshi", "some random dude: bitcoin is going to fall", "some other random dude: bitcoin is going to moon",...
and although they are spreading the false news they are doing it in a way that you can never blame "them" because for example they are just quoting someone. how reliable that someone is and why they quote unreliable sources is open for debate.
2898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I convert my BCH to BTC? on: September 11, 2017, 05:44:59 AM
like any other altcoin you should convert it back to bitcoin at some point.

if you have a large amount of it and have never converted anything back to bitcoin, then it may be a good idea to cash out some part of it and keep the rest. you come up with the percentages that you feel more comfortable with.

what i did is that i sold some on the tops and then kept the rest for the next pump. i also bought some when it was rising back when the first pump came and make some quick profit when i dumped it.

as a trader you should do this too. but if you are not a trader and just want to take some risks then wait at least until end of this year when SegWit2x drama starts because BCH may get pumped by that time.
2899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOOMBERG JUST REPORTED: China bans cryptocurrency exchanges on: September 11, 2017, 05:33:49 AM
ok, but howcome the Chinese exchanges are still working with high volumes, and also report on their public places like twitter or blogs that they have never received anything from the authorities?

and these are the details of the article:
"China Is Said to Ban Bitcoin Exchanges While Allowing OTC Trades"

this part is actually funny:
"The ban will only apply to trading of cryptocurrencies on exchanges, according to people familiar with the matter, who asked not to be named because the information is private."

"OKCoin, BTC China and Huobi, the country’s three biggest bitcoin exchanges, said on Monday that they hadn’t received any regulatory notices concerning bans on cryptocurrency trading."
2900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy alts now or wait for Bitcoin hard fork in November?! on: September 11, 2017, 05:22:11 AM
How will the hard fork affect the price of Bitcoin and alts?

we may not be able to speculate whether price of bitcoin will go up or go down because of all the drama that will come by the end of this year but we can say one thing for sure:
when bitcoin price falls, altcoins follow its trend downwards.

so far the only exception has been altcoins are are in their start of pump. for example if they are pumping an altcoin and it is a couple of hours into the pump when bitcoin starts going down, that particular altcoin won't be affected but the rest will fall too.
