You missed the initial airdrop. No more free coins unless someone decides to be charitable.

what a dramatic Dump!
Yeah, now many of the people who rented on Nicehash or bought cloud mining are looking at never being able to ROI. This might piss more people off than XPY did.

If the Zcash Dev doesn't want to release an Ann then why should we pay attention to it ? Many people have spoken about it and are very weary that it is a scam.
I personally think this is crap and a really bad scam. Why has it got so much attention anyway ?
one of the big investors of ZCash is the owner of CoinDesk, that's why. their investor portfolio has the biggest names ever out of any coin launch. Better stop using Coindesk. If this anon coin is used for it's only true purpose, which is the dark markets, then heads are going to roll for being complicit in advancing criminal activity.

it was instamined and manipulated.
was good joke now back to reality
Manipulated, yes. Instamined? There are still less than 1000 coins mined after two days. I don't think 1000 "instamined" coins are going to make any difference to a coin that will eventually have a 21,000,000 coin supply.

Good luck all in confirming your suspicions. Zcash is an anon coin. It is dirty cash. You thought the Silk Road was bad? Get out the popcorn. I'm sure the FBI and INTERPOL will figure it out eventually.

ZEC below 1 BTC within the next few hours...was so nice that withdraw was done manually for this coin and not automatically at all other coins when you mine at suprnova... but of course when you own the full supply... 1. Miners are mining ZEC 2. Report having problems with withdraw will do it manually. 3. Ocminer was working all night. Real story: 1. Miners are mining ZEC. 2. Ocminer took all the coins and transfer to Poloniex and all other exchanges 3. Dumped miners coins as 3299 - 1000 - 500 - 25 - 10 BTC per coin 4. Buyback coins at around 10 BTC per coin 5. Send coins back to his site to payout the miners reward from step one 6. Counting his profit he made on dumping all the coins that miners created in point 1. So basically it was the biggest scam ever!!! NEVER, I repeat NEVER there was a problem with withdraws on Suprnova!!!! Always automatically, NEVER ONE SINGLE PROBLEM!!! NEVER!!!! and now there is this problem.... I would say do your own investigation but I think the real story is true. PS: Who created this thread.... No other mining pools on OPs.... Biggest coin but only one mining pool? Edit: Maybe someone needs to investigate this based on the block explorer... was there a big withdraw from SuprNova? But the problem is that he won't be that stupid to do it in big withdraws as he knows how to scam. No, there are lots of pools. Nicehash and Genesis are in on it. Just use google, you'll find more. Also, using a block explorer will do little good. This is an anon coin after all. Here's the data from a withdrawal that I made from supernova. Notice there is no address listed on the input side... https://explorer.zcha.in/accounts/t1dvCRU7RjVqM7Zx6EWobkBfJMP9CNw5EyPIf what you insinuate is true, I would doubt ocminer would use a public input to send.

Is this even worth trying to mine with a Vultr VPS? Or is CPU mining not worth it? If so, is there a step by step guide for idiots like me on how to set this up with command line on Ubuntu? (VPS doesn't display the GUI.) I'd prefer something written that I can copy and paste rather than a video. Also, I want the program that lets me mine to the suprnova pool. I tried downloading the nicehash widows program, but my antivirus blocks some of the files. I don't think my AMD 7570 and i5-3450 is really up to the task anyway. I have a Dell desktop, and I think mining would cause it to fry, anyway, since the cooling sucks. CPU mining is perfectly fine. I am getting higher hashrate from my CPU than my GPU. Havent tried to set it up on linux yet so cant help with that. Well, I figured out how to run this on a vultr VPS, but it is totally not worth it. I was only getting 5 sol/s on their 6 CPU package. I tried their 1 cpu packages, and they don't have enough memory to compile the mining program. 1 get 9 sol/s just running 2 of my 4 cores on my Dell. I'll try that for a while. I tried to run my AMD 7570, but it doesn't get even 1 sol/s and causes my computer to lag. I'm selling my 9 sol/s to nicehash at the moment because people are paying crazy prices still. I wonder when they will figure out, like I did, that paying .6 BTC per ksol/sec/day is a losing proposition unless the price on the exchange has an unexpected rally back to 10+ BTC per coin. I'll take making over a buck a day off running only 2 cpu cores. Geeze guys, get ARK, they offer +120% bonus instead of a -3000% bonus.
From what I can tell, most of the people in this thread are miners. We can't help it if people were willing to pay outrageous prices to keep us happy during the slow start. Looking forward to ARK though, too.

i'm missing the "for staking only" option in unlock wallet dialog in the new wallet. the option was there in the old wallet.
is there a certain reason why the option is not there anymore or just a bug? i like to have all my coins as secure as possible so i allways use this option
staking reward stills seems be very low in my opinion with 5 - 10 chunktoshis
how much is the supernode reward?
Most of my supernode rewards have been 5 chunktoshis. I got one reward that was .49318605. I've had a supernode for about 3 hours now. Thanks for sharing the information. How often you get the rewards on supernode? Pos is 10 sat and up per reward. I want set one up as well if that it has better rewards. I'm getting between 5 to 10 rewards per hour. So far, I have only got one reward above the 5 chunktoshi, so far. I am competing against 7 other supernodes right now.

account new and project not promising for any money or new technology, not investing anything! Good luck!
Well, what are you expecting when the dev team didn't raise thousands of BTC upfront, only kept 2% of the premine and airdropped the rest? Just so you know, most of the ICOs, huge premines, or other schemes with the fancy "technology" end up not going anywhere. Most of what many ICOs promise these days are really just a bunch of vaporware. Most of the thousands of bitcoins raised by these ICOs goes toward hookers and blow, not "development." hehe well written .... and probly a little too honest for some of the poor sensitive little creatures that lurk in the forum , you have probly just destroyed there dreams of buying into the the next ICO , were they were promised they would be able to retire and buy there own hookers and blow!! lmao Yes, thank goodness that I have kept myself a minnow with my dabbling in crypto. Sure, I have lost my share in all these schemes. But the drama for the 2 plus years certainly has had great entertainment value.

At this early we are seeing users very hurry to sell, sell price was at 7000 then suddenly some holders wants to sell it 3000 satoshis,if you are a trader you should opt for 10 satoshis higher from the highest seller ,now the value is forced to drop down..
I'm glad that they did. I was able to get more than enough Chunk to play around with a supernode for only 0.1 BTC. The 70.00 USD worth of coin has almost given me enough entertainment value already.

Hi Guys I was wondering how to disbled staking in old wallet because some my balance is got stuck in stake..I just waiting that about 8 hours but still no effect yet
Encrypt your wallet. That will stop the staking. And if you don't want to encrypt your wallet put this command on your Chunk.conf, reservebalance=100000 You can also add this command to the Chunk.conf file staking = 0. So many ways.

Do I need to turn off my staking with in a conf file for the supernode. Or is that taken care of when I set it up in the wallet and started?

It's true, but what about volume? With all the respect I feel for altex, I think it'd be better to be on C-Cex I'm boycotting C-Cex at the moment. So this exchange is fine, for now, with me.

Altex needs to fix the issue also would like to deposit my coins while my wallet is still syncing and staking,my wallet goes on and off ,I would like to swap as soon as possible before the new wallet comes out..
the new wallet is already out, i was able to swap my coins (ignored the error on the exchange) Do I need to update to the new wallet before sending coins to exchange? No, send coins from old wallet first. I wish that I could help you sync. I haven't had any problems syncing. Not sure how my config is any different from others. I deleted except the wallet file. Created a Chunk.conf file with only one addnode suggested by feta. What else I need to do. All I can suggest, is if you have a router, access your router and go to port forwarding and open port 21118. If that doesn't work, than temporarily shut off the firewall with your router. If that doesn't work, temporarily disable your virus protection program. If that doesn't work, temporarily disable the firewall to your computer.
