3721  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: lauda demoted on: January 25, 2017, 03:40:09 PM

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1397579.480

Lauda is still on DT and makikita mo yan sa trust settings or by simply looking at those account na natagged niya and andun iyon sa trusted feedback ng account. Nademote lang siya as staff so di na niya magagawa ang mga priveleges ng pagiging staff which is talagang helpful lalo na kapag may maling nagawa ang isang member sa forum.

In terms of actions, Lauda is great and no doubt, one (or the only) of the most active staff.

I feel bad for lauda. He is the one trying to make the forum a better place. That extortion case took a big hit on him. Is that case already closed? If not, maybe this is just a preventive measure while they are still investigating the case. Maybe if he proves that there is no ill intentions on that extortion but to trap zeroxal, maybe they will restore his staff status.
3722  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price of bitcoin still skyrocket on: January 25, 2017, 02:43:13 PM
There is no doubt we can reach that amount someday. How long will it take to take us there is the proper question. There are still a lot of things that should be fixed with bitcoin right now. Though the price is still moving upward, There will be a time it will be halted due to the issues bitcoin is facing like scalability and confirmation time. Once these issues are solved, we will see the price skyrocket. But that may still take a lot of time before this come true.
3723  Economy / Economics / Re: How did Bitcoin start to price increase? on: January 25, 2017, 06:21:47 AM
The same way everything else acquire its value, the law of supply and demand. Fortunately bitcoin is a limited supply. So if new demand arises, the price will easily rise too. Unfortunately, the volume is still low that whales can still manipulate the price by dumping and pumping bitcoins.
3724  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be in 2018 on: January 24, 2017, 03:39:05 PM
It is way too early to predict what the price will be. We are still on the first month of 2017. There are a lot of things that can effect the price of bitcoin. There is a line up of good things that could occur this year like the ETF, LN, Segwit. This may push the price up. But as we know, bitcoin is very unpredictable. There can also be unpredictable events that can suddenly crash the market. So, I will not make any prediction. I'll just hope and pray that bitcoin is better in 2018 than today.
3725  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cashing out.... on: January 24, 2017, 02:41:49 PM
I am happy though with 15k profit, being on your average income, 15k to me is more than 1 years salary so cashing out while I am up this high doesn't worry me too much, i just don't want to get greedy XD

That is the right attitude OP. Do not be too greedy. And even if you cash out right now, if ever, you can still re enter on the price you are comfortable with. Take your profit and enter again the market in the future. If what they say is right, the price will stay go way up. So there are still a lot of opportunities to enter and make profit.

3727  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't fall for the chinese scammers trying to make you panic sell on: January 23, 2017, 03:57:02 PM
The usual victims of these FUD gimmicks are those very new in bitcoin or very new in trading. Those who are not yet used to the volatile nature of bitcoin will think that it is crashing when it drops 100 or 200 dollars down. They will panic and sell at loss. But those who have been here long enough will take those dips as an advantage to pump their bitcoins. Bad news will always happen, FUD will always be there. But if you know that the technology backing bitcoin is solid, you will not fear those news. But instead take advantage of the weak hands selling their bitcoins.
3728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: January 23, 2017, 03:24:38 PM
Yes, Brother. Bitcoin is the future of money. Cause BTC price is increasing day by day. In future, BTC price will be the hight price in online currency. For that, BTC is the future of money.

The price increase is not the sole basis for saying that bitcoin will become really the future of money. Though bitcoin can be used as payment online today and even in the future, it is not correct to say that bitcoin will replace fiat currency. The proper way of saying is that the future of money is digital currency. A cashless society will be born when fiat currency has finished evolving into a fiat digital currency.

You have a point here. Some people are focusing too much on the price of bitcoin and in the process still comparing it to fiat. If bitcoin is really the future of money, the value should not be based on fiat. Bitcoin is still evolving and we do not even know if bitcoin will be the end product in the future. But what we know is that, decentralized cryptocurrency is what we need. We need to get away from the control of the government regarding our finances and cryptocurrency is the answer to that.
3729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Safe to say Bitcoin "probably" won't go lower than $600-$700 on: January 23, 2017, 02:52:46 PM
You probably are right. The price has several times tested the 800+ resistance and it always would not go down below that anymore. I think mid 800 is now our new low. Aren't we supposed to be glad that we will not see 700 and below anymore. But I guess those shorts will not stop to feed us with FUD to bring the price down.
3730  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: January 23, 2017, 12:48:59 PM
I have a question for the coins.ph here in the Philippines. Since Sunday in the early morning, around 2 am, I was trying to load my phone, and it didn't push through and got refunded, which is fine with me. Then I tried to load again around 9 am, and still, it didn't work. So now, early morning on a Monday, 9 am. Just now, I still can't buy load. Are there any other people experiencing this? I would want to know what happened.

It's either the problem with the collaboration between the specific network and the coins.ph itself. Anong network ba yan? Mostly sa Globe network may error na ganyan which is happen to me around 2-3 times. If ok sa other network then dun yan sa specific na network provider.

Want more accurate answer? Mag send ka lang ng query tutal parang chatbox na lang ang magsend ng support sa coins.ph na less hassle at andun na agad paglog in mo. Smiley

I think there is a problem in loading globe networks. I noticed it yesterday, when you choose globe the options are grayed and there is no dropdown list. Other networks are black and have dropdown list, which is the normal thing.

Anyone noticed here the spread in the price of bitcoin in coins.ph. The difference in buy and sell price is almost 2000 now. Back in 2015 it is just about 500. I remembered I can still gain profit from buying and selling in coins.ph when the price is fluctuating. Maybe it is harder to do that now, if anyone is still doing that.
3731  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has gone beyond gold prices on: January 23, 2017, 07:31:56 AM
Bitcoin has now exceeded the gold price, is the choice of bitcoin or gold?

It's too early to say that. The price of bitcoin is really unstable, if 1 whale sell all their bitcoins, it will affect the bitcoins price like 2-3 days ago. I still prefer choose gold, because the price of gold is stable and even the price going down, it's only the small one not like bitcoin that can easily down.
But what if government suddenly banning the distribution of the gold? it will become worthless for sure, if you're worrying something that's actually not exist, it's pointless, both gold and bitcoin have some factors that could cause both price to falling, it's just don't make sense worrying things like that

Governments will not ban gold, they use gold. It is like banning their own currency.

You have to accept the truth that bitcoin is still volatile, has still has a lot of space for improvements and can still be manipulated by whales. The good news is, a lot of people are starting to invest into it. So, in the near future it will not be that much of a concern. But it is still now. Bitcoin can reach the price of gold now, but gold still has more value than bitcoin. Only time can tell if bitcoin can really overtake gold in value.
3732  Economy / Economics / Re: 2016’s top cryptocurrencies on: January 23, 2017, 07:22:42 AM
I am invested in nem and it came second. Maybe because it was still very cheap and low in volume so even a small pump will register as a large percentage in price change. We will see if it will still perform that great if the price and volume is a little bit higher.

For me bitcoin is still number one in all cryptocurrencies. The article should also consider volume, transactions and user base.
3733  Economy / Speculation / Re: where are all those who were calling $500 bottom? on: January 22, 2017, 03:55:44 PM
They might be in the corner mopping their tears because they keep losing their shorts. Their efforts to bring the price down is a lost cause right now. They failed to influence others to believe that the price is gonna crash. The price is starting to rally again and it is above 900$.

Just a question. Isn't the flip is double or nothing? So if you lose in the flip, then you already lose your bet. And if you also lose on the other bet then you actually lose 0.002 BTC? This is not actually a guaranteed win. You also have to wish that the flip will give you double, if not you lose BTC whether you win or not on the other bet.

I think there is no way a gambling site will make you always win , else they will go bankrupt.
3735  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get into signature campaigns? Is it worth it? on: January 22, 2017, 02:13:20 PM
A few things you have to consider if you want to have a good income in signature campaigns:

1. The rank you are in. As you level up here in the forum, the higher incentives you will get.
2. Trust. Some campaigns do not accept accounts with negative trust.
3. The campaign. Different campaigns have different rates. There are a lot of campaigns that pays a good amount per post. To be able to qualify to high paying campaigns, you need to have history of good quality posts.
4. Quality of your post. This is the biggest problem the forum has now. Post quality is getting low because of signature campaigners are trying to reach their max post. In effect they are not giving much thought in the kind of post they are writing in their post. There is a movement that campaign managers are doing right now. They are banning those who post senseless post from their campaigns. So if you want to maintain your signature campaign, keep your post in high quality.

You are still a newbie, so there are very few campaigns you can join. What you can do right now is learn. Read as much as you can. So you will have more ideas, knowledge to share with the forum. This will at least help you make good quality post.

Joining signature campaign is good. It can help you financially while doing something you usually do for free. But do not expect it to be your main source of income. If you think like that, you will be forced to make too many post that you will be posting sh*t soon.

Good luck.
3736  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: how to earn bitcoins on: January 22, 2017, 11:07:01 AM
May nagiinvest ba sa gambling dito? Paano kapag biglang nawala yung website diba?

I also want to know about investing into gambling websites. Is the income worth the risk? It would be nice to hear from those who have personal experience investing into gambling websites.

Another source of income is Lending. Either lending to a person or lending in trading platforms. This can be a risky source of income too but if you require a collateral, the risk is lessen.
3737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How i can Start Trading !!!! on: January 22, 2017, 10:24:46 AM
The key is research research, research and patience. You need to read a lot and be informed. That is the only way you can have the right information to be able to predict the trend or where the price of the coin is going or what is the real value of of the coin. It is way more complicated than playing dice where the only choice is high or low. There is no one formula in earning in trading, you have to find your own trading style that fits your need, risk tolerance and target profit.
3738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of Bank's Services in Future Will be Keeping Private Keys for Customers on: January 22, 2017, 12:43:44 AM
That is like giving away your control over your bitcoin. I do not like the idea of giving my private keys to someone I do not know, especially the bank. If I cannot have the discipline to keep my private keys safe myself, then maybe bitcoin is not right for me. Maybe I should just stick to fiat and let the bank handle my finances.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for fashion business? on: January 21, 2017, 02:28:31 PM
Nice idea including bitcoin as a payment option in your website. It will not devalue your brand instead it will attract bitcoin users and adding value to your brand. You are also spreading awareness of bitcoin to your non bitcoin-user customers if they see bitcoin as payment option. They might get curious and try bitcoin.

Nice website by the way.
3740  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: [helping thread]Tanong mo sagot ko on: January 21, 2017, 05:19:50 AM
Mukha pong marami kayo alam sa trading boss a, ako kasi baguhan lang kaya hindi ko pa masyado gamay yong diskarte, but usually anu ano pong mga coin ang investment nyu po sa ngayon boss? At ano po ginagawa niya pag nagtaas po ba benta agad or iniistay nyu po at after ilang buwan bago niyo kunin?

Normally trading platforms have their forms where you can set buy and sell orders. What I usually do is after I bought an alt coin, I immediately set the sell targets and set sell orders so I do not have to monitor the altcoin all the time. If the price is hit, it will automatically execute the order. You can also do that on buy orders, just set the buy orders and it will execute when the price is hit. Bulk of what I do is researching the altcoin that I intend to trade.
