3721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Timing to Hodl tokens is very important. on: July 19, 2020, 07:34:02 AM
A lot people argue about if it is better to hodl on the long term or the short term neglecting the most important thing.
The timing with which you have to hodl your tokens or investment is very important, to ensure you do not rekt.

For every token, there is a time to hodl, and time not too, figure out the timing before investment.

Timing is always an important aspect of trading. When you enter a trade you should always have a clear target set and how much time you are going to give the coin to reach the target because something if you don't set target or time-period then you might get greedy and lose the profit that you earned along the way.

Timing to hold the token depends on its fundamental and technical analysis. Your targets should be flexible and quickly change with the situation. Sometime you have to compromise and sell the coins before reaching the desired target to safe yourself from the loss. Other times, you may wait a bit longer to multiply your profits. If you have experience in trading, you can earn much better.
3722  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: chenli1995 is a scammer on: July 19, 2020, 05:56:18 AM
user @chenli1995 is a scammer.

Scammed $15.  not a lot. Said he would sell me phone numbers.  And once I paid, he deleted his telegram account.

Does he have a bitcointalk account ?
It would be appreciated if you can give his profile link so others can be careful and also that it can be tagged (after proper evidence).

P.S This is not a right board. Please move this conversation to scam accusation.
3723  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡ LOOT.BET — Made For Live Betting | Esports, Slots, Mini Games on: July 19, 2020, 04:38:28 AM
Why I haven't know this site?. It's mainly because the site didn't have much exposure to many people. I agree that you should have signature campaign to promote your site and have more exposure. I like gambling platform that accept fiat and also crypto. It is just sad that not many crypto enthusiast know much about this site. Welcome to the bitcointalk forum.

Well I also didn't know about the site because most probably its a new site and we cannot know about all the new sites. A signature campaign or any social media campaign can boost the number of views and players on the site however the marketing team first should analysis the budget and outcome of the campaign before launching.
3724  Other / Meta / Re: Phishing e-mail on: July 18, 2020, 04:22:26 PM

The time difference between the two is just about 41 minutes. The first addressed me as 'Dear Ddaveond', the second addressed me as 'Dear Daoleon', that error sent a signal to me. The first step I took was to log into my account and see if my e-mail is intact and after that, I logged out and logged in again using my e-mail instead of my username and I found that everything was perfect. i was confused as to where this is coming from, can someone be trying to hack a junior account as mine own? Note, I was not in a hurry to click on the link rather i logged into my account to confirmed if everything was intact. Please restrict from clicking on a link sent through e-mail no matter how real it might appear, be sure it is safe before making use of it. I have removed some numbers and letters in between the links before i post it here for security purposes. I don't want to believe that this is from the forum.

You did the right thing of not getting panic and clicking on the link. Many people can easily get in these phishing email traps and lose their accounts and in some cases money.

Everyone should take these LEARN] Phishing Quizzes - Beginners & Experts as it will help to develop the awareness about Phishing.
3725  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exclusive Bonuses From Stake, Nitrogen, BitStarz and SwC Poker on: July 18, 2020, 04:06:57 PM
I suffered defeat in the game, does the claim continue to run every day or not?

It should be available till the 40th day as promised. You can always check it under your account-vip-reload. Complete information of the exact time for the next claim should be there as well as the information of when your reload will be expired.

Do you mean to say that the bonus will be available till the 40th day ? This is really confusing. Why they can't send 100$ instantly and why 2.5$ reload daily. If someone can explain it in detail it would be helpful for me and others. Initially I thought it could be a scam and there is no bonus.  Huh
I get $ 2.5 everyday but I see that the reload section is only available until April 21, if I don't receive it after the 2nd, I will file a complaint against them, and hopefully according to their words for 40 days

On which date did your bonus of 2.5$  started and how much you have received in total till now ? Stake is a reputable casino and they will pay you in full as they have mentioned. I had this scam feeling because it was not announced in the stake.com main thread but now it's clear that it is a legit bonus.
3726  Other / Meta / Re: DNS issues.. on: July 18, 2020, 02:51:50 PM
I'm not sure if this is relevant, but Windows has just had a forced update, and it tried to insist that I switched to some new version of Edge amongst other things. It has messed up a few of my options as well. I guess it is time I went back to the Linux SSD that I set up to replace the HDD in the notebook. I'm also getting delays in connecting to many sites.

You can't go wrong with choosing Linux vs Windows. There will never be forced updates without user consent. I have long been disillusioned with Microsoft and having switched to the Linux system, I have no difficulty in getting to the forum and other sites. I don’t know if this is relevant, Cloudflare DNS also works for me

Cloudfare has nothing to do with operating systems and the outage was for everyone who uses windows or Linux. All cloudfare operations are back to normal now.
Although Linux provides a better security but many people will still prefer Windows operating system because they are used to it and Linux may not be as user friendly as windows is.

I guess there were no passing marks  Smiley
I scored 5 out of 10 without preparing  for the quiz.

3728  Other / Meta / Re: Feature request to link sub boards easily on: July 18, 2020, 12:48:25 PM
For example, you write

Code:
#services
, it automatically hyperlinks the board mentioned.

Guess it would be handy, as of right now we have to find/seach and copy link manually.

What you think?

So in other words, you want to introduce hash tags to the bitcointalk also.  I think we already have a lot of hash tags in twitter and now also in YouTube. I will not recommended to use hash tags for the boards.
For example you can bookmark this page if you want to directly open latest posts from the Meta section. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;board=24)
This can be done for all the boards and it is much more easy as compare to the tags.
3729  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcasino is a SCAM on: July 17, 2020, 07:19:09 PM
What’s the issue with providing KYC, what are you hiding.

There must be 4 or 5 exchanges that have my full KYC, bank statements, selfie photo, home address, mobile number. I don’t understand your problem, if you need to provide KYC to withdraw funds then do it.
Many people do not want to do KYC because:
1. They might have not necessary documents
2. They think personal information might be compromised
3. using multiple accounts
4. Mislead something etc.
But for this user I think nothing happen just lost on bet and behaving like a child.

I also do not like KYC but if a situation is like this similar to OP and showing the KYC can be beneficial to get the funds back, its better to do the KYC. That's why most of the gambling site does not require KYC, but in case of any issue or dispute they can demand the KYC.
3730  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: July 17, 2020, 03:42:14 PM
Idk, guys, I think since it's a free roll it would be fair to require some rollover, but if there is no such requirement ... well, that's a generous move on the part of FortuneJack.

Sometimes I think, if only all people in the world knew about the opportunity to win 1 BTC while risking absolutely nothing, how many participants would be there? Millions? Tens of millions? More?

Can we find 1 million people who know how to use Bitcoin and who know about football and for whom it would be legal and easy to open a FJ account, and also willing to do KYC should they be asked? Probably not, but yeah of course, there are so many opportunities to win free things and you'd think a lot more people would join but it's all a question of value and perceived likelihood. I don't play free games for sports/games I know nothing about unless it happens to be on my platform and a few clicks away =)

Are you seriously asking them to give a rollover requirement? Haha =D

One day 1 million people will use bitcoin and all the football fans who like to gamble as well, will make an account on the best site, Fortune Jack and bet on it. This is not impossible to happen but will they all be willing to perform KYC, I have doubt on it. If KYC requirement is removed, many more people can join the online gambling and betting sites.
3731  Economy / Gambling / Re: Welcome to Casino Reviews.fun on: July 16, 2020, 08:29:39 PM
I have visited Casino Reviews.fun and found the site to be a good one and loaded quickly too. I would like to ask how do you choose the rating of each of the casino listed ?
Would it be better if you put a radio button beneath each casino numbered from 1 -5 and the users have the chance to rate the casino themselves. Based on the average of the users rating you can assign the rating to the casino.
3732  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcasino is a SCAM on: July 16, 2020, 07:46:57 PM
no u pieces of shits stole my money and then when i sunk multiple tx and finally win, and im ready to withdraw my winnings you stop me? im still down from where i began and just tryings to reclaim my losses... its reeally a stupid system if u think about it seriously. like i said FIATS SHOULD HAVE KYC, CRYPTO GAMBLING DOESNT NEED KYC....

Are you out of your mind ? Bitcasino.io Support is asking for your username to check the issue but you are again crying and posting shit. It look like you are one of those newbies who either have lost the money and got frustrated  or want to bring a bad name to a casino.
Again, if you are serious, stop posting all non-sense, give your Bitcasino.io user id and other necessary information which can be helpful in your case.
3733  Other / Meta / Re: theymos/Cyrus @Bitcointalk twitter account on: July 16, 2020, 07:26:50 PM
Code:
https://twitter.com/bitcointalk

I don't know if hackers would even bother messing an account with 14K followers and zero post since Aug. 30, 2018.

Who controls the account btw?

By the way this bitcointalk twitter is a very precious account. The "so called Hackers" are after the crypto related twitter accounts and they would like to hack bitcointalk account too and they won't care if the account is inactive for 2 years. Their only mission is the publicity of their scam.

3734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning: crypto related twitter accounts (Binance, Bitcoin, TRON, &more) hacked on: July 16, 2020, 07:19:47 PM
The DMs from all of those people might indeed be worth more than the $100k he got from the simple doubling scam.
While true I cannot help but wonder are people that dense? Do they really think the stored information they have on those social media sites is safe enough to the point they are willing to store important information there? I could understand a normal person doing it, after all what is the biggest secret an average person will hold? At worst they are cheating on their partner or something, but for those personalities that have access to privileged information storing anything important on those platforms is just asking for trouble and could comeback to kick their butts on the future.

You'd be surprised how stupid 'smart' people can be. If that happens, some of the higher-up heads could roll.

I will never understand how all the crypto related got hacked at a same time ? This is practically impossible unless whole of the twitter is hacked  Shocked
I can only see this is an attempt by the whales to move the price down or dump the market by creating the panic. This is a big player's big move and nothing else.

3736  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exclusive Bonuses From Stake, Nitrogen, BitStarz and SwC Poker on: July 12, 2020, 08:22:33 AM
Yes the bonuses are for BitEdge referrals only so you have to sign up through a BitEdge referral link to get them. Some forums don't like people posting their referral links so I just posted the links to the bonus section of our site instead.

I have asked Stake to drop by here to clear up any doubts and I am sure they will soon.

So what about those who have existing accounts on stake ?

Is this offer only available for those who will create new account on stake.com and other sites listed with your referral link ?
3737  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exclusive Bonuses From Stake, Nitrogen, BitStarz and SwC Poker on: July 12, 2020, 06:45:05 AM
I don't get this what exactly are you offering. When I visit your site to get the reload bonus for stake.com, it shows a link  "Get Bonus" and it points to the stake.com site. The link is indeed your referral link. So in other words you are saying that we should make an account with your referral link and will get a bonus (which is not possible) because there is no such offering at stake.com
3738  Economy / Gambling / Re: 💎 WixiPlay.io 2.0 💎 25% CashBack | New cryptocurrencies & features | TOP | on: July 12, 2020, 05:31:23 AM
I don't see the point in creating a new website without clearing your previous accusations first. It's not completely impossible or anything. For example, look at Best change.

They were mired in controversies initially, but resolved all the issues pretty quickly and are really popular in the forum now.

You guys need to do the same about your entire provably fair fiasco in order to resolve all your issues. After resolving these issues, I am confident you will attract gamblers again op.
We didn't create a new website, we just updated it.

We understand that you did not create a new website but created a new thread but you have not answered the previous accusations which were raised against you ? Do you have any plan to give us your views on them also.
The pf system is working fine, anyway our dev team is going to update it again.

I understand that you have updated the site and it is very likely that now the pf system is working correctly but what about the loss which have been made before. Do you have any plan to compensate the losses of the players ?

Do you have another sites similar to this for other cryptocurrencies?
If yes can I know them
Thanks
In last few years we lost all other faucets and sites with free coins now just this freebitcoin.in is doing and have very good reputation with many features just enjoy with this.

In 2016/2017 there were many faucet sites but now it is hard to find any good faucet site except this  FreeBitco.in. This has been running for so many years and it faucet never gets emptied.  Smiley After the bull run in 2017, many faucet sites closed but we are lucky to have freebitco providing its services to its users.
