3721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people follow Elon Musk? on: February 10, 2021, 12:57:53 PM
People follow him because he is the biggest man in cryptocurrency What he says happens. Is one of the people and when he speaks it is clear and easy.
He is a successful man in cryptocurrency The coin he talks about gets his price up. a few days ago he tweeted about dogecoin and check his price where are you. I think that's why people follow Elon Musk.
I don't think that I was following or even the others, what I was doing now and the market is riding on his popularity to the hypes he made. He uses his name and popularity to create such a thing and people jump on just like what they do in the previous Bullrun. And maybe, we are so thankful to him and not ask why we follow or not, or why is hyping the market because the real thing is that, we get a huge benefit from this.

3723  Economy / Gambling / Re: Tru.Bet - A Peer to Peer Sportsbet Exchange on: February 10, 2021, 07:14:45 AM
I'm currently checking the site, this is a unique platform for sports betting, honestly I don't get it at a first look.
Maybe I need to see some tutorial on how to play it, if you have a video tutorial, that would be very helpful.

Anyway, welcome to the forum.
3724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to tell when a trading bot is a scam on: February 09, 2021, 01:59:10 PM
Stay away from trading bots. This is the only way it saves you from being scammed.

If we have noticed now, a lot of people promoting their trading bots, showing good reviews, asking you to have some try, and you are making good friends with them. These people will find a way to trick you unnoticed, this is a common issue, and we just realize once problems arise.

Thus, as @Maus0728 said, manual trading is the best option, I could justify that one. In fact, I'd never heard successful trading saying they are using a bot to trade (or maybe I miss something, just let me know).
3725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 09, 2021, 01:23:20 PM
...

Do you think taking out a loan makes any sense? The problem is that right now I can not do it because due to the lockdown my income is too low. I would have to wait for the lockdown to end. Then I can work night and day for a month so that I end up making like $7000 within a single month. With that I will easily get a loan of 20K maybe even 50K who knows?

Do you think it is worth it? This might be a once in a lifetime chance.
You are certainly taking a high risk. There is no wrong with taking a loan for trading but see to it that you have any back-up resources to pay your loan once you fail in trading. You can't avoid losses in trading and if you only just rely on the profit that you may get from trading, that seems a burden to you. And that is really making no sense.

You better think about it now and try to listen to what we advise you. I'm not stopping you to take a loan but just be sure that it never compromises you in the future.
3726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 09, 2021, 11:43:39 AM
His style is very much annoying yet very effective.

Nailed it mate, boxing is not entertaining when he is fighting because he seem to play his safe style of play, I don't know I think we will only witness one Mayweather who mastered his kind of style in our lifestyle.

Mayweather might be undefeated but it's not good to hear that he is also a boring fighter.

Entertainment should not be boring.  Grin
We're totally annoyed but his style. But he's a professional and he don't care whether he'll be called whatever we want to him.

As long as he'll get the money and win the game, that's all gonna matter to him. We take it as entertainment but it's still his style that should be taken as entertainment for the fans whether you like or not.

I'm not sure if fans really are entertain by his style, did you hear how people react every time he is in the ring, people does want to see some action and they are not seeing it from Mayweather because he loves to run, this is boxing it should not be boring.

Manny when he enters in the ring, people are shouting, Manny! Manny! Manny!.. but when Mayweather enters, people booed him.
3727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 09, 2021, 11:35:00 AM
When betting have too much sponsor, they might be able to influence the game, imagine what it could do if they will try to rig the game in their favor. So I agree with these changes, the game will still generate income as it has a lot of fans but at least it will help to minimize the gambling activities of people.
I agree about the influence effect but there are steps to prevent it.
Just make a strict rule that will scare the hell out of those who won't abide by the rules.
Fines that are too high which will also take the profits they make out of rigging the game.

Why not use it as an opportunity to help the affected people by Covid-19.
Take some share with whatever the sponsor offers and give it back to the people.

If they have thought of that then maybe they have done it already, however, they reach to this decision so they certainly have weigh things and their evaluation results that negative impact are more than the positive impact.
3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Miguel Berchelt vs Oscar Valdez WBC Super-Featherweight Title on: February 08, 2021, 10:24:50 PM
Well, I didn't know this fight either, I did a brief survey of both fighters and I realized that it will be an interesting fight.
In my opinion I think Oscar Valdez has a good chance of win, because he is undefeated.
But in sports, anything can happen!

Not all undefeated are good, just like Callum Smith, he fought Canelo Alvarez when he was undefeated and yet he lose in a unanimous decision, mind you, Canelo has 1 loss in his career but he has been fighting a quality opponents in his career that's why Canelo was the favorite to win, same here, Miguel Berchelt is the favorite to win.
3729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is INDIA going to BAN Bitcoin Again? on: February 08, 2021, 10:03:20 PM
Does India have a problem if they approve of bitcoin? I think this privacy rule India applies to any. But it seems that India is too early to determine a ban on bitcoin, India should try to loosen bitcoin in its country in order to know more clearly how bitcoin works and if bitcoin is detrimental to the country it seems India has the right to ban.
They have been studying crypto for sure, the fact that they previously ban it then unbanned it, that says a lot how it was carefully tackle by the regulators. Let's all hope as a crypto supporters that they will finally opened their eyes and embrace crypto like other countries are doing.

With proper regulation, they'll be able to benefit on bitcoin and their people, so banning should not always be the best solution.
3730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Once Bitcoin marketcaps has reached to a trillion alone, it will happen on: February 08, 2021, 12:50:42 PM
It would become as a huge achievement for bitcoin itself, getting into a trillion marketcap is not impossible, it will happen in the long run as the adoption continues to increase. Marketcap now is over $700 billion already, it means by the time bitcoin hits $53k each, that would already make a trillion dollar marketcap.
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 08, 2021, 12:28:20 PM
3.This might redirect all those sponsorship ad money into other industries. The internet is the most obvious choice of the gambling advertisers.More crypto gambling sig campaigns on Bitcointalk, anyone? Grin

I believe sportsbet.io have some sponsorship.

Does this one is a good example?

Sportsbet.io Becomes Official Betting Partner for Arsenal F.C.

Probably what the government are trying to achieve here is to reduce the sports betting activity.

When betting have too much sponsor, they might be able to influence the game, imagine what it could do if they will try to rig the game in their favor. So I agree with these changes, the game will still generate income as it has a lot of fans but at least it will help to minimize the gambling activities of people.

What they are trying to convey IMO is that, you can still enjoy the gambling without betting, these two does not necessarily come together.

3732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Employees can get salary in Bitcoin in Miami on: February 08, 2021, 11:52:22 AM
Great news, would help on the adoption of crypto in general, just like us campaigners, we are paid btc pegged with btc, if they want to invest, they can hold their salary when the market is not bullish as they can make a good amount of bitcoin, but when the market is bullish, no reason to hold if you have some expenses that you need to attend to.

I'm just saying about some strategy to benefit, but this is really a good news and for sure, bitcoin ATMs will also increase.
3733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Government Rules Mean No More Gambling Sponsorship on: February 08, 2021, 09:59:51 AM

What are your thoughts on this do you agree with the government or you’re against this proposal, and how do you think that the club owners will react knowing that they’ll have to suffer more financial losses if this is implemented.

Source:

https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/football-clubs-warned-betting-sponsorship-23457892.amp

This is quite sad in my opinion. I think football needs a lot of sponsors to be the best type of sport it can be. For me the gambling and betting industry has been a big part of sports for years. Whenever I have some spare money I just like to bet a little, nothing too big but it makes the games more interesting for me. There is nothing wrong with it. And the gambling industry is actually giving it back to sports by sponsorships.

Government maybe doesn't want a betting sites to sponsor a league because it's not good in the image and rigging could probably happen. They also have a lot of fans which might get interested in gambling upon seeing the logo of sponsorship. I don't know but I think other sports have survive like the NBA and there's no gambling institution that sponsors this league.
3734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: May-Pac 2, will it finally happen? on: February 08, 2021, 09:44:24 AM
No one cares about that, he's famous for being undefeated and undisputed. He's a legend of this sport, that's why he wants to protect his virgin track record as long as he can. Pacquiao has small odds to beat him but he's able to do it.

There's a correction here. Mayweather never made any attempt to "protect" his unbeaten record. Whenever someone challenged him, he accepted that challenge and fought against him. But has has always maintained a policy of fighting against any opponent only once. Eventually he decided that enough was enough and retired from boxing. He has earned tons of money from boxing and therefore we can't expect him to be lured back to the boxing ring by offering huge amounts of money.

Yes. I agree to this idea. I think Mayweather vs Pacquiao 2 isn't gonna happen because Floyd ain't gonna step in to the ring anymore because of the retirement. Pacquiao can fight any boxer but of course he also focused on his term as a senator in the Philippines. Pacquiao and Mayweather might get a lot of money in boxing but it will not gonna take them back for another fight for the second time. They might see each other on a stadium but not on the ring. Pacquiao and Floyd are friends outside the ring and I also believe that Floyd ain't care about his unbeatable record but of course to the experience and sportmanship of every hame he got into.

This year we will know, this fight is hype again for some reason, and it's definitely for the money.

If Conor wants to fight Pacquiao because that's millions of income for him, for sure Mayweather will earn more.
Also, after the loss of Conor in his recent fight, people maybe are not interested anymore to see him fight Manny, so less hype.

I'm saying this year we will know if May-Pac 2 will happen, otherwise if it will not take place this year, it's more likely that it will not gonna happen anymore.
3735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: February 08, 2021, 09:19:12 AM
Sadly he merely a shadow of himself since the injury. Still pretty explosive with his footwork and drive to the basket but the league have become a lot more athletic on average, than the time Rose was the MVP.

Rose was the best, he made history, he was the ROY and the MVP and he was only 21 years old that time if I'm not wrong. That's so special, even the legend admire him and was amaze by the way he play, unfortunately a serious injury ended that, and although he is not anymore on his prime but people are still happy seeing him in the league.
3736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling strategies & tips from professional players on: February 08, 2021, 04:54:06 AM
In card games, I play what my mind tells me what to do and don't want to do. If I feel like it's not what I have to do then change it to another decision. In poker, If I think my card is not much value to win then I will base my decision based on the decisions of the other players whether it's a bluff or not.

If you try this method in other gambling games, it might not work. The reason is that card games are something that requires simple  abstract thinking and common sense. Here luck can seem to be effective.
For poker and disc, you have to calculate your games factually else, the prayer will loose more than he or she is winning.
Seriously, I feel nervous when playing card games, I indulge in luck but we should have to be wise enough, using our skills and knowledge which could possibly attract our luck. Grin

To be honest, gambling couldn't be relying on luck but we should have to do something in order to win. If we are playing any card games or putting a bet in sports betting without basis, that is really no work. You are certainly giving your self to lose your money. That is why we have to learn something from knowledgeable gambler or to watch in youtube.
3737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dominance increases again and what happened to altcoin? on: February 08, 2021, 01:01:11 AM
Maybe it will effect to the drop in altcoins' prices, but I think it won't be a long time. The increase of Bitcoin price will lead to the low demand in altcoins, so in the few days the price of most altcoins probably to decrease rather significant. But we don't need to be panic, just hold and keep calm. We wait to the next soar to trade again altcoins.
The effect on altcoins is likely to be positive for the potential coin but for shitcoins, it is really harsh. Why I'm saying the positive effect is because we know that many investors can't afford to buy Bitcoin at this price, they will drop to the altcoin market.

And if we are thinking the demand will getting low, not exactly. Crypto investors will not hold their eggs in one basket so they will definitely choose potential altcoins. But this is what I always think about the market, they will go together, make another ATH together. So I think we need to accumulate more altcoins now before another Bullrun comes again.
3738  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I'm looking for a New Trading Site on: February 07, 2021, 11:53:33 PM
I'm looking for a reliable exchange where I can just trade between different crypto (I don't need fiat trading) without needing ID verification and all the other annoying requirements.  Something simple like BTC-E was years back. I'm U.S based but I can use a VPN if needed. Any suggestions would be great.
Well, you have to look at them and find the best exchanger.

https://tradingbrowser.com/crypto-exchange-without-kyc/

These exchanges are not new to the market but it sure to have a good reputation.
I don't want to say this one and this one, but it is for your to decide which one feels you better. But if you are moving a huge amount of crypto, might expecting to do KYC coz they have some limitation.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was left behind with btc market. on: February 07, 2021, 11:37:33 PM
Many people inside and outside crypto have also been surprised on the fast rise that is happening with Bitcoin that we did not also expect to happen in a short period of time after surpassing the last recorded ATH it have way back 2017 and gets into another level of price improvement just a couple of days or weeks when the new ATH have been set. Yes, many people are into shock that after long years or even months of inactivity they will be surprise on how big changes happen with Bitcoin making them to feel like they have been left out by the world. But if you are already a long time fanatic or Bitcoin user, maybe you have managed to somehow kept a couple of Bitcoins within you so there must be nothing to worry about it anymore.
It is more shocking if you invest in Bitcoin 4-5 years ago and you see that your investment has been multiplied several times. But what I understand to OP is that he got nothing from many years of inactivity and causes him to regrets in not buying and holding his assets before.

The current momentum that we have means that there are more surprises to come in the crypto world. And most likely, we able to see a continued market strike, and I think, we shouldn't have to miss this.
3740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Follow a trading process. on: February 07, 2021, 02:04:46 PM
In crypto currency, i suppose that there are two P's, Profit and process.

Oone core words i have for newbies  and enthusiasts in the space today is that they should follow the process. Result might not come early or sooner as you expect it to do, but it will yield in profits; if you stick to your process rather than chasing profits.

NB: This is a wake up call to all traders to develop a trading skill or perhaps strategy; and ensure to stick to the process until perfection, and you can watch the profits follow.
the process must be balanced with good skills, I think this will definitely be easy to benefit. sometimes in trading expectations do not match because every time changes will definitely occur in trading, especially price changes. we can respond with discipline and the process still has to run according to the manual that we created ourselves.
Definitely, you can be in trading if you don't have any trading skills and strategy, yeah, it never works as you think. That is why I urge people to improve themselves first before trying to trade, they must have to know the consequences if they commit mistakes and this is not fully understood by many, unfortunately.

For many traders that have in trading, only a few of them meant to stay and make deal with the market challenges and control their emotions.
We follow the process, we all be fine and see great results. It is just a matter of time and hard work.
