This is the 1st time for an Italian in the final of Wimbledon, never happened before!
Also, I think this is the 1st time in our history that we have4-5 players in the top 30 ATP leaderboard.

But tomorrow will be almost impossible to win.
well you said it yourself, it's almost impossible for Berrettini to win, it is unlucky for him to face Djokovic in the final who's currently unstoppable, he lost only one set in Wimbledon this year, Berrettini needs a miracle to win, i just hope we see an entertaining match.

The odds are pretty much stock up against Berrettini, but who knows, Shapovalov pushes Djokovic to really dig deeper to his trick and arsenals just to be able to win the match against him. Berrettini is known to be clay court specialist though, but in this years Wimbledon, he really surpasses our expectations. I think he can at least win one set against Djokovic in their match and then see how it goes.

^^ Probably Conor talking about the supposedly Pacquaio fight.

Quote
In an interview Thursday with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, McGregor admitted that he wasn’t fully focused on the task at hand. He wound end losing via second round knockout to Poirier.

“I pitied the man. I was looking past him. I had a Manny Pacquiao camp in place,” McGregor stated.

This time around he insists that he is fully locked in on his rival and doesn’t expect the fight to go the distance.

“I’m coming to kill the man. I’m coming in with vicious intent here. Mortar shots. What else can I say? That’s the way it is. I’m looking to take this man out cold,” McGregor said.

So he is motivated here, as others have said, it seems that he is different and fully focus and wanted to get Dustin heads off in this match.
3723  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: July 09, 2021, 01:23:57 AM

if you look at the chart, several times bitcoin has formed a pattern of narrowing and widening so that this indicates that the bitcoin price is in a less volatile position, so that with the many controversies that exist over bitcoin, including the chinese government ban on bitcoin mining, it can be said that the market position bitcoin is currently skewed in a bearish position and may take several months to return to the bullish price path.

Maybe not just months but possible to extend that since the bearish directions affects most

newcomers decision making,  there are people who are afraid to push thru, thinking that this momentum

will continue, panic with wrong decision making leads traders to lose their invested money.

I think it all started on the fud and some rich influencer. And then the whales doesn't want to invest at the current state because of uncertainty. Definitely it will have a drastic effect on newbies as they are just watching and making their decision reading the news.

So this bearish trend might still continue, we can't get over the hump of $40,000 which is the biggest mental barrier for investors and traders right now.
3724  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Crypto bans are temporary, we are on the right side of history. on: July 09, 2021, 12:43:38 AM
But it's different though, there are countries, specially oppressive ones that are banning bitcoin and cyrpto for good. I doubt that they will suddenly made a U-turn and change their stance. On the contrary, countries that are in the middle, are most likely going to welcome and adopt bitcoin.

Bitcoin is so powerful that it will gave financial freedom to anyone and that is why certain countries are banning it and I doubt that those governments will enter the picture just because other countries are accepting it.
3725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 09, 2021, 12:17:09 AM
This is how my bet looks like in this semis:

Berrettini (-3.5) + Djokovic (-6.5) = @3.13.

I thought the games are tonight, waking up in the middle of the night here to check the score, unfortunately, I made a mistake. I could have put my bet on other games today and get the result and then put a bet on tennis. Anyhow, those two are the favourites, and hope that there will be no upset and that the spread are going to be covered.

I haven't followed Berrettini's match so I'm not sure if he can cover the spread. But for Djokovic, yeah he seems to be covering almost all the spread in this tournament, even as high as -9.5 early, he managed to do it. So wishing you good luck and hope that there will be no surprises, specially the Hurkacz vs Berretini match.

Ladies is all set, Barty vs Pliskova in the finals.
3726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dissapointments of the creation of the thousands of failed altcoins. on: July 08, 2021, 01:56:59 AM
As much as we hate it, we have to admit what's going on with the current altcoin market.

There are literally hundreds of scams and fake coins out there, just hype and meme and all for the money grab. That's why we always wanted to warn investors specially newbies because there's a lot of traps out there. And as the nature of crypto is open and decentralised, so obviously this won't stop the creation of so many altcoins that will simply plague the crytpo space with non-sense and shitcoins.
3727  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the next economic crisis in the world instead cause financial inflows into on: July 08, 2021, 01:15:20 AM
As other have said, this is hard to predict. The last covid crisis, we have seen bitcoin going down very hard as well and so is the other assets. That might be the initial reaction though as after everything has settled down, the price of bitcoin recovered and bounce back and hit another all time high.

But we can't say that bitcoin is designed to be a hedge against economic crisis, it is very volatile, investors or at least the rich prefer assets that are steady and a good store of value such as gold.
3728  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 08, 2021, 12:35:21 AM
This post is not related to the Inoue - Donaire match but this piece of news is an update about the spat between Donaire and Casimero,
Casimero camp says spat with Donaires over after apology and even though the match did not push through Casimero's camp is hoping the match will still continue between the two Filipinos in the future and it could happen if Donaire wins against Inoue, this is something that could motivate Donaire in his coming fight against Inoue.
Well, I believe for various reasons why the fight didn't get through because I think their camp thinks it's not worth it to let two great fighters from the same country fighting each other. All of those excuses is just a cover up but if Donaire wanted to fight Inoue then their will soon going to happen.

But I don't know what's Inoue's camp thinking about the rematch, although their last fight is clear that Inoue owns Donaire. But I hope this time it's different and Donaire should be giving a good fight to all of his fans if he wants to show he could beat down Inoue.

I don't think that Donaire will give Casimero fight in the future. He already said that he didn't want to give him a big pay check. Unless they are forced by the governing body to have a fight.

Again, I'm with Donaire to win against Inoue, he still have some time although he is already old, he can still pull that trigger and that left hook is still one of the best in the division. The power the timing and the execution is still there.
3729  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 07, 2021, 11:45:40 PM
Let's see how far Roger will go, he has a good chance against Hurkacz next, I will be rooting for him.

What intrigues me is the Shapolavov against Kachanov. Karen is a huge underdog here, but I will definitely go with him in a parlay with Djokovic and Berrettini. Although the Berrettini vs Auger-Aliassime might go either way, I think Matteo might pull through in a 5 set match.

Good call on the Shapovalov vs Kachanov, it's already on it's 5th set and it's very close match.

Shapovalov though is leading though 5-4 and serving for the match. it will be hard pressed for Kachanov to comeback as Shapovalov might close the match already, leading 40-15.

Yeah, but I lost my bet because I went on the underdog Kachanov, he really did give Shapovalov a lot of problems and I thought that he can pull this off.

Not sure what happen to Federer though, bagel in the final set, the last time I checked the score before I slept, he was up in the second set and I say that he has a good chance to win. Unfortunately, as others have said, he played badly and there was no injury whatsoever.
3730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find good ICO's and new projects in general? on: July 07, 2021, 02:23:32 AM
I always hear about people making these insane profits from crypto by investing on release. But how exactly do you find legit ones from the fakes? I was told there are mostly purely fakes.

Any advice is appreciated.

Well you really have to go to social media and see what's going on.

But the thing is, it's mostly shills, so yeah, you can jump in and join the fun, but it's not that easy to make insane money specially if you are a new comer. Those that are telling you that they are earning good amount of money have either part of a pump and dump group or involved with the project itself. So obviously, they are going to promote it anywhere to get some noise. So just be careful.
3731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 07, 2021, 01:50:51 AM
I guess the simply answer is that people wanted to win, the rewards at the end. They think that they can play and that no matter what the edge it, they still think that it will end up in their favor. And then how they start their addiction, specially if they experience on what we call "beginners luck". They will come back for more, until they started to lose and then play more, and become a cycle.

3733  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Estrada vs Gonzalez Trilogy - Oct 16 on: July 05, 2021, 01:50:06 AM
Both men can definitely win and I think it is possible that both are just thinking the same thing, it is to win, this is a very close fight in my opinion, on their first clash Chocolatito won with a Unanimous Decision Chocolatito did punch with volumes so in their 2nd round Chocolatito have shown another great fight again but the judge decision is very controversial here, the score was so close that they think Chocolatito have won their 2nd match, it is a split decision and a close card, well I say Estrada did something to the get judge decision that other don't see but lets all wait on who's going to win on this Trilogy.
Estrada really try to out muscle and put pressure and become aggressive in the second half of the fight that's why the judges see him winning on a very close and controversial decision. But Chocolatito has more power, but Estrada has volume and work rate. So this fight can sway on either direction. It's probably depends on how the judges are going to see the fight. Maybe a draw, which is rare is boxing could happen here.

I Agree! let's just hope it is not a draw, Grin hehe, but yes I can not say who is a better boxer because both of them had a pretty different style than the other, and you are right this will definitely depend on the judge decision, if there are more technical shots or there is a volume of shots a fighter could  throw this will be a decision for the judge watchful eyes on the fight, their decision to make, but if I would choose who do I think going to win, I would surely go with Chocolatito, Roman Gonzalez can sure give more if he can get a devastating punch on Estrada he can have a KO win.

But if by chance it ended up in a draw and you put a bet on it, then surely it wll be a big win for you.

However, I will echo the sentiments of our beloved boxing community here, this fight is still 50:50 and can go either way. Chocolatito might have a slight advantage on power, but if you are like throwing 100 punches per round, it's hard to sustain that kind of volume. The best we can see is a technical knock down or referee stop the contest.
3734  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: July 05, 2021, 01:03:32 AM

Donaire here trying to make an upset, and Inoue's fans say it's not possible.

Fans are biased, that's the reality.

In the last fight of Inoue against Dasmarinas, many Filipinos believe that Dasmarinas could upset Inoue although the betting odds say otherwise. nah, you can't expect an honest opinion here, all are just based on bias opinion, and that makes the fight more interesting as we have fans from both sides willing to defend their fighter's chance in the fight.

And that's why we are here in the community, we have different point of view specially as boxing fans. We can agree or disagree against each other, but at the end of the day, respect must be follow and we are the winners as we are going to see another exciting fight involving Inoue and Donaire.

Donaire was the underdog on the Ouballi fight x3 or x4 if I'm not mistaken, but he proved his doubters by knocking out Nordine.

3735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 05, 2021, 12:31:56 AM
There are a lot of surprises in the women's competition, many favorites have already dropped out of the tournament, so it is very difficult to say who will win this tournament.
Maybe Barty, Pliskova or Sabalenka, Gauff is probably still too young.
What do you think?
Yes, the women's section is always full of surprises. In recent years, Grand Slam champions have almost always been filled with new names.
Gauff is still very young but she could be the next surprise, Sabalenka and pliskova are my favorites and Barty are still very solid so far, It's hard to predict who will make it to the final and lift the throphy.

What surprised me the most over the last couple of years is how out of a sudden Serena Williams' dominance literally fell apart. She smashed them all, sometimes 6-0 6-0, and everyone thought she is going to break the grand slam championship record by miles. That dominance over within just no time. It doesn't feel like she could return successfully and become number one again. I am curious when Djokovic's dominance will be broken.

Serena started to play tennis at age 14,  and obviously, wear and tear are going to catch up with here. So most probably her dominance is over, she is no longer in his prime. Djokovic is very different though, he is somewhat enjoying another round of this greatest tennis performance after coming back from his worst injury in 2018-2019. I think the competitiveness inside of Djokovic can be compare to players like Jordan. His focus, his hunger and he just want to defeat everyone but breaking them apart.
3736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at new heights on: July 04, 2021, 02:23:13 AM
The first leg should be the whole number $40,000 before we can talk further.

But since there's a strong resistance along that price right now, we shouldn't expect a new heights at least short time. There's a lot of issues right now, like the hash rate dropped due to the Chinese government pulling the plug to the bitcoin miners.

So it might take some time for the price to rise, probably we might see a positive movement in the last quarter of the year.
3737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 04, 2021, 01:40:42 AM
^^ It was a big comeback win for Medvedev and this is a sign that he can content in this Wimbledon.

In the ladies side, there's a lot of noise around Emma Raducanu, the lone Brit in this tournament. She is a wildcard, so for sure she is enjoying so far, and mind you, she is just 18 years of age. So a lot of potential from her to carry the flag in the coming years. I'll probably watch how she progresses after the Wimbledon.
3738  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Next countries adopting bitcoin as legal tender have not any coronavirus cases on: July 04, 2021, 01:15:28 AM
where did you get the list? would you mind sharing the link?

Sure, my source was: https://ncov2019.live

There is no link between covid and bitcoin. This was just me digressing.

If that is the case then I don't think those countries are going to adopt BTC.

I'm not sure if we can call them like that, it seems that they are small tiny island around the Pacific (correct me if I'm wrong).

And we don't have any idea if they really heard about Bitcoin and crypto in general, they are very isolated.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will El Salvador become the "Home of Bitcoin"? on: July 03, 2021, 03:20:29 AM
Well Japan has made Bitcoin as legal tender as well, and there are a lot of stores that are accepting it but still far from the bitcoin adoption that we wanted to see. The difference is that El Salvador is a developing country, so there's a lot of things that can really happen to Bitcoin in that country. Maybe we can see a full blown used, people just spending it there like local currency. So it might be be home of Bitcoin in the next 2-5 years and hopefully many countries around it will follow too.
3740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why women are the minority in crypto land? on: July 03, 2021, 02:41:02 AM
Risk aversion.

Women are not prone to take huge risk, unlike us, who gambles almost all of our life.  Grin

But in any case though, I saw women emerging in digital technologies in the last 4 years. So maybe the balance will tip a bit in the next coming years. Maybe they could held good positions in a blockchain related companies. So their decision making is the key.
