We have all the regulation we need now. And plenty of math also.

People want to be optimistic I guess. I kinda look at a rounded price. I call it $220 when it's bouncing around that number. So $213 = $220 and $238 also = $220.

I like how God can forgive you for any sin because of her boundless love and compassion. But there is a real question about forgiveness if you run a business into the ground.

Around 100 billion stars/suns just in our galaxy!! Between 100 and 500 billion galaxy's in the universe closer to 500 billion!! Please open you're mind that we are not alone the proof is in the math if you had a brain cell or two you could figure that out. Possible earth like habitable planets in the universe 50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 so i guess the chances are we are all alone Yeah, but please do calculate how long it would take us to reach them !? Even if we could travel at speed of light , we probably would die before arriving to another civilisation, the only chance we can have is to build ships that would have eco-system and where few generations would pass, enabling us to explore much further. That's the thing. Even if there were thousands or millions of civilizations it may take billions of years to reach the closest one. If our civ is any indication of normality then we may have to time it just right. Finding a point where they have technology but before they have destroyed themselves. While I find the argument about odds has merit, we really can't say anything about other life in the universe since we have only one example.

Show me the money? That's what I want to see. Never in history has there been a discovery that shows life elsewhere in the universe. Show me non-DNA life, or a piece of the space ship made from an unknown material. Until you have something like that the evidence for UFOs is the same as for unicorns.

Hey wait, I just thought of a third thing that could happen! The price could go up. Mind F-ing blown! i wouldnt dream of this, because at the most i think the price will only vary sideways, but if the price goes up because of this hardfork then it is a mindblown I have no idea what the future price will be. Nor do I care. However previous hard forks have led to a spike; for whatever reason.

Wow, it's like watching children argue over where the Easter bunny lives. I just can't imagine living in such a demon haunted world.

So it looks like the whole thing was actually a running dispute about parking space. Well his solution does solve his parking problems.
Yep. That would include his parking space too, or lack thereof... If I were the judge I would have awarded him a visitor parking spot at the prison. This is one of many reasons no one would ever let me be a judge.

Yep, that's fake. Notice Jim's position title? Or lack thereof. And the spelling errors are a clear sign that no one edited this.

On a related note black is now white, peace is now war, and up should only be referred to as down. Be sure to download your new-speak dictionary from your benevolent father, Comcast.

Gold is the real investment
Because it has been established long long ago and people love it
Naturally! How many people do you here say, "what the hell is Gold"? All demographics understand how to invest in Gold. True, but I heard it was a ponzi and is not backed by anything!

Hey guys, I'm leaving two grand on a park bench for the weekend. If it's gone when I return then parks are stupid I will never visit one again.

The other scary part is that foreign fighters make up only a small percentage of Dasch. This is not a terrorist org anymore, it's a movement. Perhaps with another 25 years of fighting we can make some inroads. But killing a movement of ideas is far harder than killing members of small, fringe terror group.

Bitcoin is used by terrorists to fund their murder and kidnappings, child molesters their child pornography, drug heads their poison. The only practical use for bitcoin is highly illegal and immoral activity that no mainstream bank would want anything to do with for legal liabilities. But bitcoiners don't understand cost benefit analysis which is why many of them end up in jail or broke with a condo full of fried GPU's. Anything practical or productive done with bitcoin can be done with currencies (actual money) at 1/1000th of the transaction cost (or zero) and 1000X the security and fraud protection. Bitcoin, the currency for suckers and criminals, which one are you? Cheers! Oh look guys a bitcoin expert! He'll know what to do. lol

Translation from goverment-regulationeez: "We don't understand bitcoin, so we are advising people to not use it. And since we have no ability to enforce the law, we are going with blaming the victim."

Agreed.
Well, my point was that it's time to find a solution that would let us to stop even to care if there is Net Neutrality or not... @All: Gentlemen, we can: 1. Keep talking 2. Start doing something What is your choice? Oh I'm a doer alright. I have my own plans for using bitcoin even in a "great firewall" world. It can be done of course. But it will greatly hurt the adoption of bitcoin if you have to be a hacker to use it. But your point about finding a solution that works with or without neutrality is a good goal. It's what i like about our situation now. No one can really do anything about bitcoin whatever they think of it.

People said the same thing about the internet and email. "Non techy people won't understand it..." It's nonsense, if the service makes people's lives easier anyone will be able to understand it will appreciate it's use.
This person is trying to cover both sides of the reality...they say "scale will grow" but "people won't accept it"...scale can't grow if people/users don't accept it.
So true. Here is an example of how tech savvy the early internet was. "I predict the Internet will soon go spectacularly supernova and in 1996 catastrophically collapse."—Robert Metcalfe, founder of 3Com and inventor of Ethernet, writing in a 1995 InfoWorld column

The idea of your bitcoin decisions being approved by your ISP is disturbing.
The idea that Bitcoin depends on ISPs centrally controlled entities is much more disturbing. Agreed. I don't want a cable company to be that authority. Remember the original promise of cable? "Never watch a commercial again!" Pffft, cable now has more commercials than commercial TV. Imagine how well taken care of we would be under their authority.
