3721  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you promote bitcoin if you were Jack Dorsey (twitter's big boss)? on: October 19, 2020, 11:01:13 PM
He did better than I can think.

He has done enough for bitcoin. And I'm sure that he wouldn't just stop there, we've seen how Jack Dorsey's relative companies are working to spread more about bitcoin. He didn't just promoted it, he actually put money where his mouth is.

A lot of things he have made and he just did other popular people can't do.
Jack Dorsey? Oh he's a boss. I have to watch and listen to him.

That was easy for them to stimulate the mind of the people around because they are known already unlike if we do it, I'm not sure if there is someone who will spare their time listening to us.

I salute to a person like him who has been doing an exemplary things in crypto particulary for Bitcoin.
OP is just asking if you are him, what how you will advertise bitcoin.

Are you going to do the same as he did or do you have something else which you think is better than he did. Yes, he's the Twitter CEO and very known as a bitcoin supporter.

That's why you'll see an icon if you put hashtag with bitcoin. And his other companies invested to bitcoin.

3723  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my btc price predictions problem here on: October 19, 2020, 10:03:04 PM
i hitted good prices good stats,
but it seems to me i cant show the prices and patterns anymore becouse someone has seen this and have chnaged the bitcoin daily weekly price patterns i cant show anymore my predictions becouse its been abused by the whales and other.
What?

Do you really think that there's someone that can adjust the price of bitcoin just because he knows what you're predicting? I thought that you have some interesting thoughts about the market here and you will be giving an idea about your analysis.

But when I've read that part, I guess others will feel the same feeling that I have after reading that.
ifi dont show my numbers and anaylysis....then market do what im expecting.
It's your logical belief which could happen.

But in all understanding of the market, our opinions don't actually matter until we're part of the demand and liquidity. I will believe if someone prominent, famous, powerful and respectful will have their say about the market.

They can move it a bit from the time that they've said a thing about it. But us, I don't think what we say about the market matters and makes an actual move even just for an inch.
3724  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: pleaase be aware of cryptflash.com on: October 19, 2020, 09:16:20 PM
That's a very known scam for those pretenders that they own a casino. I don't know their existence and it's the first time to see them even said on the forum.

I'm sorry that you can't get your $100 anymore. You should've asked here before depositing $100 so that we have stopped you but it already happened, learn from this mistake and don't believe someone if they will allow you to win with thousands of dollars in exchange of $100 or any amount they ask. It's a scam.
3725  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How and where invest 500€ on: October 18, 2020, 11:43:45 PM
With all of those suggestions and recommendations.

I have one last tip.

There could be predators that will send you a message that they know where to invest that money of yours. I suggest that don't entertain any of them as most of them are strangers. They are likely trying to do some shady business with your money or worst, scam you.

3727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kraken warns about scams using fake identities as member of their team on: October 18, 2020, 10:51:49 PM
It's like every single legit exchange have copy cats.

They tend to play the real exchange's staff and will offer help for those traders/users that have withdrawal issues. And with this modus, they are targeting bigger fish that would want to list their tokens on Kraken.

They are leveling up their targets.

Thanks for this op.
3728  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jacinda Ardern New Zealand's prime minister on: October 18, 2020, 09:55:08 PM
Landslide
I don't know much politics in New Zealand.

But this only shows that the people liked her and with the response her government did against covid-19 was a big factor. I've looked for related articles and most of those are praising her victory.

And their victory against covid-19 made their lives back to normal which turned their people to still choose her to govern them.

This is an historic win for the labour party in 50 years. Her decisive response to COVID-19 pandemic was a major factor why people elected her again.
I have not seen any party won by such majority of votes anywhere in the world. She is a true leader who lives in the heart of the people.
With such landslide win on their election, the voice of the people is with her and trust her due to the response. And it's not only New Zealand that saw that success but the entire world did. While most of our countries are still struggling or at least now in moderation in the control and battle against covid, they've done it earlier.

@jossile you’re absolutely correct because their citizens saw how well she handled the pandemic, and that’s why she won the elections. Furthermore I believe that this is a clue for other country’s leaders that people will now vote on how well did they handle the pandemic, and if those leaders have failed to handle it well then they’ll be in big trouble as people will avoid voting for them.

Yes, this is the pattern for the upcoming elections in other countries too. If the current leadership didn't handled the battle against covid well, they'll both for the other party.
3729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Feels like we are going ICO round 2 all over again on: October 18, 2020, 09:06:31 PM
Just imagine if there is no big hype of DeFi projects today will new developers start switching to DeFi potential or build DeFi projects from scratch? No I guess, this is why I think that majority of DeFi projects will die between now and coming year, a painful death I think because they will turn scam, ICO investment websites are full of unknown DeFi tokens that are targeting uniswap exchange for listing, the DeFi tokens have no ANN on this forum and they have low max supply, what's even more disturbing is that people are investing on these coins, I feel like we are going ICO round 2 again
We're in a circle.

And what we're looking at is the same hype as the ICO did. But did it last long? no. That is the reason why other speculators see that the same fate will come next to the defi projects. Scam projects will proliferate this industry and investors will keep away from it.

The established will stay but mostly won't.
3730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it just me or anyone experienced it as well? on: October 18, 2020, 07:54:21 PM
I was using fortunejack that was before when they update their site. What I mean by rolling fast is that the results literally go instantly fast and it's losing streak at that time I don't quite sure how to check the fairness of it so I just let it be.
For those that will be asking in which casino did happened, see the quote. Like what everyone is saying, I never experienced such unusual fast when I put rolling into automatic betting.

Did you asked fortunejack if that's a usual update that they've did in rolling? And when this happens, you have no option to stop it but to close your browser right?
3731  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OKEX suspended withdrawals, why these exchanges do not offer insurance on: October 17, 2020, 11:47:12 PM
We have a thread that's made already about Okex suspending of withdrawals.

OKEx Suspends Withdrawls on Exchanges.

It's an ease if we'll continue the discussion on that thread.
3732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Small dip in BTC price after Trump stimulus tweet on: October 17, 2020, 10:43:28 PM
I don't consider that as a reason for such small dips, people of US are very much concerned about the daily lives, after the pandemic the entire globe had a hefty blow as tons of jobs has been trashed so far. Just a tweet can't be a reason for dip in BTC. Because there have been some serious debate going on these two Trump and Biden and I believe it will not be a reason for the price drop in BTC.
But with all of those events, we have seen the equal reaction of the market.

Maybe you haven't those moments before that a single tweet actually moves the market quickly. We're in a very speculative market and bitcoin is unpredictable. We may say that a single tweet doesn't really do much in the market.

But if it's coming to a powerful man as him, people are quick to take precautions and actions to make their pockets safe by doing a forceful action that they don't want such as selling. Because they do understand how the market works.

This course is free.

https://www.edx.org/course/bitcoin-and-cryptocurrencies

If you want a certificate, you have to pay but if you are only for the course which makes it look formal for you to learn about bitcoin and cryptos then take the course.

Majority of the people here never got into any online course, we just learned through the process and advises of the people who were first before us.
3735  Economy / Speculation / Re: here my new btc price predictions with currenct btc price on: October 16, 2020, 10:31:49 PM
The support is no longer in.

The support was broken and we're looking at the price of $11,375. I think you have picked a bit of a higher price despite that, we still have a good sign.

Reaching high of $11,700 and going down a bit, we might just break $12,000 any time soon.

anyways 11400 was price i bought myself  i knew it will go little down but not , if i would wait for the lower priceto jump in it might not going down.

its good always to leave little gap

If a new wave of COVID-19 is officially “announced”, and new self-isolation will start, cryptocurrencies’ popularity will go up. As a result, Bitcoin price will climb to the mountain. Thus, BTC might reach 13, 000 dollars. Probably, we will see these prices close to December 2020.
New waves have been reported in some countries.

But I don't think that there's a resemblance of it in the market. If the pumping is due to that, I don't want that to happen. I'm happy to see the market go steady and see this pandemic will come to an end and there will be no more newer waves to come.

Going with that opinion, I really don't think that if some announcement is like that. The market will have no reaction, IMHO.
3736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why FOMO isn't as bad as people make it seem. on: October 16, 2020, 10:11:16 PM
The simple rule is "buy at the bottom and sell at the top". But i don't think this applies to all coins, it only applies to solid coins like bitcoin, ethereum and the likes, because they have stood the test of time and would surely find their way back up. But most of these new coins, if you buy at the bottom, the price might still go lower and keep you trapped there. so it is better to wait and see a clear move up before you get on the train to avoid fake outs.
You said it right.

Most of the new coins, if you have bought it, usually it's already the top of it and then the next thing that will happen is mostly a dump. The dumping of most investors that bought it during the sale is about to happen.

All of them will be chasing for the profits and wouldn't actually care with the vision that project has. This applies for most new projects with or without potential. Lucky if the project has the potential as it can recover afterwards but mostly don't.
3737  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A lesson, disadvantage of storing seed into the device. on: October 16, 2020, 09:44:35 PM
One main disadvantage while storing the seeds in a physical paper by handwritten is how long they can sustain, what will happen if we accidentally pour water into it? Still it goes into the stupid way. Keeping the seed safer is the real task for someone who wants to hold their cryptos assets for longer years.
I agree about keeping it somewhere safer is the real thing.

Writing on a piece of paper is also one of the best traditional method but you need to have several backups, whether you keep it offline. I have never thought of keeping it online, we can be infiltrated by someone we don't know on the web and just to be sure, never ever click any unknown links.

Written, virtual(not online) backups where you're not compromising your seeds or private keys is always the thing. It's like where the safe keeper and we need to check it from time to time where it's placed for its safety.
3738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: YouTube’s sleazy decline into scam promotion on: October 15, 2020, 11:56:26 PM
They are lazy and incompetent because when it comes to property rights and even private disputes they're quick to give out strikes and delete channels. They also like to delete od block content they don't like like people talking about covid were having their videos deleted.
They are quick to detect contents that they don't like. Giving strikes, copyright, and even block a channel. It's their platform and those decisions can be done by them even without a proper forum of discussion for those channels that they've been blocking. Like those legitimate Youtube channels that are giving information about cryptocurrency.

But when it comes to the scam advertisements that will suck people's money, they don't take action. In channels, they don't earn but with advertisements, they earn and it's their customers. They keep on accepting scam ads without analyzing it even it's going to cost a lot of money from the possible victims.
3739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Elon Musk fake giveaway. on: October 15, 2020, 11:24:40 PM
I often see this message on telegram that the binance giveaway or elon mush giveaway bitcoin or etherum but I never tried it because I believe this is a fake message, this is an old way to get money easily by persuasion to double our money.
If you the same message in Telegram coming out from a known personality, don't actually believe them. Telegram is a den for most scammers for these giveaways and the victims that they're getting are those that don't do research.

Doubling money in a short time, right?

Don't send them any amount, they are giving a fake promise. You don't earn double with your money without doing anything or by just sending it to them.

unfortunately we can't jail these criminals
They can, as long as there's enough proof that has been given to the authorities.
3740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is new occupation on: October 15, 2020, 10:49:25 PM
In stocks, there are people who are living well off with trading in that market. Before the arrival of cryptocurrencies, everyone has already seen this opportunity and can be a career. But to tell you, this is one of the hardest jobs and sources of living if you decide to be one.

Ask those people you've known how their life is. They may say that it's easy because they're already aware of what to do. But ask how they became a day trader, they have a lot of a hard time going at the top and be familiar with strategies and learning the charts.
